Abstract

Permasalahan mitra guru di SD 3 Panjang Bae Kudus adalah kurangnya pengetahuan guru mengenai perencanaan pembelajaran dalam bentuk lesson design. Selain itu, guru juga kesulitan menghubungkan materi pembelajaran dengan keunggulan lokal Kudus. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan kepada guru SD 3 Panjang Kudus mengenai perencanaan pembelajaran dalam bentuk lesson design. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan interaktif dan pendampingan. Selanjutnya, dalam proses pelatihan ada interaksi dua arah sehingga memberikan kesempatan kepada guru SD 3 Panjang Bae Kudus sebagai peserta pelatihan untuk menyumbangkan ide, pendapat, pikiran, dan pengalamannya. Pelaksanaan pendampingan penyusunan lesson design berbasis keunggulan lokal daerah Kudus pada guru SD 3 Panjang Bae Kudus dirancang dalam beberapa tahap, antara lain: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, follow up, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru di SD 3 Panjang Kudus mampu merencanakan, menyusun, dan memaparkan lesson design matematika dan IPA berbasis keunggulan lokal Kudus yang inovatif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Asesmen Nasional (AN) dirancang untuk menghasilkan informasi akurat untuk memperbaiki kualitas belajar-mengajar, yang pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dalam pelaksanaan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) di tahun 2021, sekolah perlu mempersiapkan siswa untuk dapat mengikuti AKM dengan baik dengan memberikan penguatan terkait literasi dan numerasi. Akan tetapi banyak calon guru matematika yang masih belum memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai literasi numerasi. Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa AKM dan numerasi merupakan hal baru bagi guru matematika di SMP 3 Bae. Guru kurang memiliki pengetahuan untuk menyusun soal numerasi sebagai upaya menyiapkan siswa menghadapi AKM. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada guru matematika di SMP 3 Bae mengenai penyusunan soal numerasi untuk persiapan AKM-AN. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMP 3 Bae dengan 4 peserta kegiatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 30 Oktober 2021 dan 3 November 2021. Metode kegiatan ini yaitu sosialisasi interaktif dan pendampingan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, follow up, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian mampu memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada guru matematika SMP 3 Bae Kudus mengenai penyusunan soal numerasi.

Abstract

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) memiliki karakter konservasi yang menjadi pilar wajib bagi karakter mahasiswa UNNES, yaitu Inspiratif, Humanis, Peduli, Inovatif, Sportif, Kreatif, Jujur dan Adil. Penelitian ini mengkaji nilai karakter konservasi yang di implementasikan melalui kegiatan ekstrakuler berbasis pada keaktifan mahasiswa mengikuti berbagai kegiatan di luar kampus. Keikutsertaan mahasiswa Unnes dalam Musabaqoh Tilawatil Quran Mahasiswa Nasional (MTQMN) menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara peserta MTQMN untuk mencari kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam meningkatkan karakter konservasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan mahasiswa Unnes lebih sadar dan terlibat aktif dalam meningkatkan kontribusi berbasis prestasi dalam ajang perlombaan nasional melalui karakter peduli, kreatif, inovatif dan sportif. Karakter tersebut merupakan citra dari karakter Mahasiswa UNNES yang perlu ditingkatkan agar dapat meningkatkan kulitas diri melalui karakter konservasi.

Abstract

Latar belakang yang mendorong dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya media pembelajaran tematik yang melibatkan kreativitas siswa dan pendukung kegiatan literasi sekolah sebagai sumber bahan belajar siswa. Adapun tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kelayakan media story telling berbasis montase sederhana sebagai suplemen bahan ajar tema Peduli Terhadap Makhluk Hidup kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pemikiran Borg and Gall. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil kelayakan berdasarkan analisis data oleh pakar ahli memperoleh rata-rata presentase sebesar 92,46% untuk kelayakan media dan 91,31% untuk kelayakan materi pembelajaran. Perolehan respon guru terhadap keberterimaan media memperoleh presentase di SD Negeri Mranggen 01 sebesar 95,58%, SD Negeri Mranggen 02 sebesar 88,25% dan SD Negeri Mranggen 04 memperoleh presentase sebesar 91,17% Hasil angket respon siswa memperoleh 90,64% di SD Negeri Mranggen 01, 93,21% di SD Negeri Mranggen 02 dan 85,36% di SD Negeri Mranggen 04. Media story telling berbasis montase sederhana sebagai suplemen bahan ajar tema peduli terhadap makhluk hidup telah memenuhi kriteria sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide knowledge to SD 4 Dersalam teachers regarding the development of an ethno-worksheet project for SD 4 Dersalam teachers. The method used in this service is to provide interactive training and mentoring. Furthermore, in the training process, there is a two-way interaction so as to provide opportunities for SD 4 Dersalam teachers as training participants to contribute ideas, opinions, thoughts, and experiences. The implementation of ethno-worksheet project development assistance for SD 4 Dersalam teachers is designed in several stages, including planning, implementation, follow-up, simulation, and evaluation. The result of this service activity was that teachers at SD 4 Dersalam Kudus were able to develop ethno-worksheet projects, especially on mathematics and science content based on Kudus local excellence which could help activate students in learning activities.

Abstract

This meta-analysis examines the impact of innovative mathematics learning interventions on students' mathematical abilities across various countries and educational levels. The study aims to quantify the effectiveness of these interventions and highlight their relevance in diverse educational contexts. Research data were collected from Scopus-indexed articles published between 2018 and 2022. Following strict inclusion and coding criteria, 102 articles were initially identified, of which 81 articles with 82 independent studies were screened. After further refinement, 31 independent studies were included in the final analysis. Meta-analysis methods were used, with mean effect size values serving as the primary metric for evaluating the interventions' impact. The analysis yielded a summary effect size of 74.960, indicating a substantial positive impact of innovative mathematics learning interventions on students’ mathematical abilities. This effect was observed consistently across various educational levels and countries, underscoring the effectiveness of such strategies in enhancing mathematical proficiency. These findings underscore the critical role of innovative learning interventions in improving mathematics education globally. They provide empirical support for incorporating such strategies into curricula to address educational disparities and enhance learning outcomes. The study concludes that innovative mathematics learning interventions significantly improve students' mathematical abilities across diverse contexts. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impacts and contextual factors influencing the efficacy of these interventions.

Abstract

The lack of creative expression space that is able to integrate literary aesthetic values with psychosocial functions, especially in building emotional balance and social interaction for people with mental disabilities, is an urgent issue in this study. The purpose of this study is to examine and develop the utilisation of digital pantun as a form of ecocriticism and literature criticism, as well as an imagination therapy medium for people with mental disabilities. The relationship between humans and nature, as expressed through ecological symbols and the imagination in the pantun, makes ecocriticism relevant to this research. The research method uses an interpretative qualitative approach with eco-critical analysis of digital pantun texts, as well as participatory observation and in-depth interviews to see the impact of the application of digital pantun in imagination therapy activities at the Muria Jaya Social Service Centre (RPSDM) Muria Jaya Kudus Regency. Research results show that digital pantuns infused with ecological imagination can be a fun means of expression, facilitating social communication among beneficiaries and building simple environmental awareness through poetic language. The integration of eco-criticism and imagination therapy forms an innovative model that not only strengthens the academic study of literature but also makes a real contribution to improving the quality of life for people with mental disabilities. This study confirms that literature, especially pantun, has social and therapeutic transformational power when contextualised in digital space and inclusive practice.

Abstract

This study compares students’ mathematical problem-solving skills between those taught using the GeoSpace-assisted Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model and those taught through direct instruction. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design was employed. The participants were two eighth-grade classes at a junior high school, with one class assigned as the experimental group and the other as the control group. Mathematical problem-solving skills were measured using an essay test based on NCTM indicators: understanding problems, planning strategies, implementing solutions, and reviewing results. The instrument demonstrated adequate validity and reliability. The experimental group received instruction using the RME model supported by the GeoSpace application, while the control group received direct instruction without digital media. Data analysis using an independent samples t-test showed that the experimental group achieved significantly higher posttest scores than the control group (p < 0.05), with a moderate effect size. In addition, learning gains in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group. These findings indicate that the GeoSpace-assisted RME model is more effective in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving skills than direct instruction. The use of realistic contexts and interactive visual representations supports students’ conceptual understanding. However, as the study involved only two classes, further research with a broader sample is recommended to strengthen the generalizability of the results.
