Abstract

The flipped classroom learning in Linear Algebra learning could be applied as alternative learning that utilizes technology. Hence students involved in the learning and their learning autonomy would be fostered. This article analyzing the stages of Linear Algebra learning, the implementation of learning, and describing the students' learning outcomes. The subjects were the first semester students in the academic year of 2019/2020, of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Universitas Muria Kudus. The data collection technique consisted of test and non-test. The technique test was used to measure mathematics ability while the non-test technique was applied to measure the students' learning autonomies and learning observation. The applied data analysis consisted of a qualitative description. The findings described the stages of the Linear Algebra course. They consisted of designing the course, developing the content and learning media, uploading the learning material, using ICT for the learning, promoting the assessment, and providing feedback facilitation. The course was begin by providing a problem to be solved in a group. The material was uploaded in the e-learning platform. The students were facilitated to create groups. They were then allowed to find solutions stage via the internet accessed from their handphone/laptop. They were then asked to solve the problems on the given worksheet manually and utilizing the computer program. After discussing, they presented the results. The average of their mathematics ability reached a predicate of B while their learning autonomy was in the excellent criterion. Keywords: Flipped Classroom, Learning Outcomes, Linear Algebra Course

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an adjustment impact on all sectors, including the education sector in Indonesia. To overcome this, the Government of Indonesia implements online and offline learning. However, the teacher's unpreparedness in dealing with changes in the learning system is one of the obstacles in online education, especially the use of digital learning media. So it is necessary to assist in developing good learning media and assessments. This community service activity aims to teach teachers at SD 2 Peganjaran about using Kahoot! as an Assessment Edutainment system. The method used in this service is to provide interactive training and mentoring. Furthermore, two-way interaction in the training process allows teachers at SD 2 Peganjaran as training participants to contribute ideas, opinions, thoughts, and experiences. The mentoring participants consisted of 12 teachers and the school principal. Implementation of assistance in the use of Kahoot! Software as an edutainment assessment system for teachers at SD 2 Peganjaran was designed in several stages, including planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation. The result of this community service activity is that teachers at SD 2 Peganjaran can use Kahoot! as an edutainment assessment system. The results obtained from the community service activities were that teachers at SD 2 Peganjaran were 84.6% able to make instruments using Kahoot! as an Edutainment Assessment system for online learning. Assistance in using applications for online learning assessments provides teachers with knowledge and skills to utilize and compile assessments using Kahoot! as an Edutainment Assessment system for online learning.

Abstract

Education has an important role in the development and development of a nation to civilize humans. The process of transferring knowledge takes place continuously that occurs systematically from one person to another. The Transfer of knowledge that occurs is expected to change the attitude, behavior, morals, ethics, and maturity of one's thinking. Learning that uses a variety of learning methods provides a fun transfer of knowledge by involving teachers and students that is carried out in the world of education at school. Based on observations made by researchers, it was found that the low numerical ability of students in the study, so the researchers conducted a study using a role playing model using traditional market games in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effect of role playing models with traditional games of the market on the numerical ability of students on the average difference pretest-posttest. Actors in the game markets are children who have not been so burdened with activities that require energy and mind. This study is a pre-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted in Class V SDN 01 Gemiring Kidul, Nalumsari, Jepara. The independent variable of this research is role playing model using traditional market games, while the dependent variable is the numerical ability of students. Data analysis techniques used Are t test on pretest and posttest results with a significance level of 5%. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the application of role playing model using traditional market games have an influence on the numerical ability of students, with the average numerical ability of students before being given treatment of 52.5 and after using the role playing model with traditional market games of 82.83. The difference in the average result has a difference of 30.33 which shows a significant effect on students ' numerical ability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' learning difficulties in limited face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in Grogolan Village, to be precise, students of SD Grogolan 01, Dukuhseti District, Pati Regency. This research began with problems in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. Limited face-to-face learning is an alternative so that learning continues even though the COVID-19 pandemic is still hitting. One of the influencing factors in limited face-to-face learning activities is the role of parents in assisting children to study at home. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. This research was conducted in Grogolan Village and focused on the fifth grade students of SD Grogolan 01, which consisted of 3 students. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. This study uses the validity of the data by triangulation. There are 3 stages of data analysis in this study, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that students' learning difficulties during the implementation of PTM were limited to various, including students who had not mastered the material presented by the teacher to the maximum, difficulties in solving story problems in mathematics lessons and questions whose answers were not in the book, and lack of student interest in PTM. limited.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan kelas V dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika materi volume bangun ruang kubus dan balok. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN 1 Jebol Jepara dengan jumlah populasi sekaligus sebagai sampel yaitu 16 siswa. Vaiabel bebas dalam penelitian ini kemampuan berpikir kritis (X) dan variabel terikatnya (Y) adalah jenis kelamin siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah berupa tes uraian matematika materi volume bangun ruang kubus dan balok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian survei. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisa presentse data tunggal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis tertinggi di kelas V SDN 1 Jebol dikuasai oleh siswa laki-laki. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa laki-laki yaitu 61,77 sedangkan nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa perempuan yaitu 45,85. Serta hasil presentase nilai tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa laki-laki juga lebih unggul yaiu 61,5%, sedangkan hasil presentase nilai tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa perempuan yaitu 38,5%.

Abstract

Kecerdasan interpersonal adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki anak untuk berinteraksi dan bekerja sama dengan orang lain dan mampu merasakan perasaan orang lain. Anak yang mempunyai kecerdasan interpersonal mudah beradaptasi dengan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa yang sering berinteraksi dengan hasil belajar tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu naratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD 3 Loram Wetan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 siswa di kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan pencatatan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar wawancara dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan interpersonal siswa dengan kriteria sering berinteraksi dan hasil belajar tinggi memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal yang baik. Siswa dengan kriteria sering berinteraksi dan hasil belajar sedang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal yang baik. Sedangkan siswa dengan kriteria sering berinteraksi dan hasil belajar rendah memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal yang baik.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika yang terjadi selama ini belum memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan representasi matematisnya. Kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dapat ditinjau dari berbagai dimensi, salah satunya yaitu gaya kognitif. Gaya kognitif mempengaruhi siswa dalam memahami materi dan permasalahan. Selain itu, disposisi matematis sebagai salah satu kompetensi sosial juga perlu dikembangkan agar siswa gigih dalam menyelesaikan masalah, menyukai matematika, dan dapat belajar dengan penuh tanggung jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran open-ended berbasis etnomatematika ditinjau dari gaya kognitif siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa yang layak digunakan. Berdasarkan uji validitas yang dilakukan oleh ahli, diperoleh nilai silabus yaitu 3,63, RPP sebesar 3,71, modul sebesar 3,74, ADM sebesar 3,86, TRM sebesar 3,83, dan pedoman wawancara sebesar 3,80. Seluruh perangkat pembelajaran dan instrumen tes termasuk pada kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran open-ended berbasis etnomatematika ditinjau dari gaya kognitif siswa valid digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi dan disposisi matematis siswa. Kata kunci: disposisi matematis, gaya kognitif, open-ended, perangkat pembelajaran, representasi matematis. ABSTRACT Mathematics learning so far has not facilitated students to develop their mathematical representation ability. The students' mathematical representation ability can be reviewed from various dimensions, one of them is cognitive style. Cognitive style affects the students in understanding the material and the problems. Moreover, mathematical disposition as one of social competence also needs to be developed so the students persevere in solving problems, like mathematics, and can learn with full of responsibility. The purpose of this study was to develop an open-ended learning instrumens based on ethnomatematics in terms of students' cognitive style to improve mathematical representation and mathematical disposition of students which are eligible to use. Based on validity test conducted by the expert, the values of obtained syllabus, lesson plan, module, ADM, TRM, and interview guidance respectively are 3.63, 3.71, 3.74, 3.86, 3.83, and 3.80. All of learning and test instrumens included on very good criteria. Based on these results, the open-ended learning instrumens based on ethnomatematics in terms of the cognitive style of students valid to be used to improve students' mathematical representation and disposition. Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi Covid-19 ini menemui banyak kendala. Guru SD 3 Peganjaran belum memanfaatkan aplikasi penilaian secara daring karena belum mampu beradaptasi dengan kondisi yang ada. Guru juga tidak memiliki pengetahuan untuk membuat penilaian secara daring. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah: (1) memberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan aplikasi untuk penilaian pembelajaran secara daring; dan (2) memberikan pendampingan pemanfaatan aplikasi untuk penilaian pembelajaran secara daring bagi guru SD 3 Peganjaran. Metode dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan participant active learning (peserta berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan instrumen penilaian daring). Setelah kegiatan ini, guru – guru SD 3 Peganjaran memperoleh: 1) pengetahuan tentang penilaian pembelajaran secara daring dengan aplikasi; dan 2) pembuatan instrumen penilaian pembelajaran secara daring dengan aplikasi. Luaran kegiatan ini yaitu berupa beberapa instrumen penilaian pembelajaran daring yang telah dikembangkan oleh guru SD 3 Peganjaran.

Abstract

Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pembelajaran matematika yaitu kemampuan numerik yang dimana hal tersebut merupakan bagian dari operasi menghitung dan sangat dibutuhkan dalam menyelesaikan masalah pembelajaran matematika. Dengan menggunakan model roleplay berupa permainan tradisional pasaran selain meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik, permainan tradisional pasaran dapat memudahkan peserta didik untuk belajar kemampuan numerik menggunakan problem yang terdapat dalam permainan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini Peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2022 hingga bulan Juli 2022 di SD Negeri Gemiring Kidul 01 Jepara. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas V SDN Gemiring Kidul 01 Jepara yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu meggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian peserta didik mengalami peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 30,33 dengan hasil N-Gain 0,6450 dengan kriteria sedang yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model roleplaying dengan menggunakan permainan pasaran memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan numerik peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan media smatris apps terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental Design) yang menggunakan dua kelompok penelitian yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Donorojo dengan sampel penelitian XI MIPA 3 SMAN 1 Donorojo sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Donorojo sebagai kelas kontrol yang diambil berdasarkan teknik random sampling. Analisis data akhir meliputi uji coba normalitas, uji coba homogenitas, uji coba t dua sampel indenpenden, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpilkan bahwa 1) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang diajarkan model discovery learning berbantuan media smatris apps lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran langsung, 2) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model discovery learning berbantuan media smatris apps.
