Abstract

This study aims to descrie the concrete media as an effort to improve the ability to express a sentence of apology i elementary school. The research method used is classroom action research. The subject of this study as much 24 student. Data collection techniques using interviews , observation and test. Concrete media is an object in the form of real or artificial object that have been used by teachers in conducting learning with the aim of student being able to easily understand the learning material. The result show that concrete media can improve the ability to express apology setences. Cycle I student complete with a percentage 77% and which is incomplete with a percentage 23% whie the cycle II student complete with a percentage 91% and which is incomplete with a percentage 9%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the competencies that principals must have in the 21st Century. Writing this article uses the literature review method, is there a qualitative descriptive data analysis technique by looking for theoretical references relevant to the cases or problems found. Based on the results of the analysis, the conclusions that answer the problem of this research are (1) the principal is someone who is given the task of leading a school, (2) the intended leadership is the ability to influence organizational resources to move to follow orders to achieve goals (4) effective principal's leadership in terms of entrepreneurial leadership, exemplary, intelligent, and democratic, (4) the 21st century is the era of technological advances in the fields of information, communication, and transportation, (5) the characteristics of the 21st century which are available access anytime, faster computing, and communication that can be done from anywhere and anywhere, (6) Competencies that principals must have to face the 21st century, namely dimensions of personality, managerial, entrepreneurial, supervision, and social competence

Abstract

Ethnomathematics has been widely studied in mathematics education, with most research focusing on the exploration of mathematical concepts within cultural practices or the development of culture-based learning innovations. However, limited studies have specifically addressed how ethnomathematics can be systematically aligned with the Strengthening Graduate Profile Dimensions (SGPD), particularly in supporting the citizenship dimension within the current curriculum framework. Based on the researcher's best search, limited literature has addressed the relevance of ethnomathematics to support the SGPD vision. This study employs an integrative literature review (ILR) to analyze 51 peer-reviewed articles published between 1980 and 2022, primarily sourced from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases, to examine the relevance of ethnomathematics to the SGPD curriculum and its practical applications in mathematics education. The analysis is grounded in theoretical perspectives, including multiculturalism, contextual learning, and culture-based pedagogy. This study develops a theoretical framework integrating constructivism, multiculturalism, RME, CTL, CRT, and CC to explain the role of ethnomathematics in supporting SGPD implementation. Within this framework, culture functions as a contextual and pedagogical foundation for strengthening students’ citizenship values. Several examples of specific applications of ethnomathematics discussed in the literature align with the theoretical lens used. It must be acknowledged that there is still room to develop ethnomathematics as an intervention to improve mathematics learning in the establishment of Student Graduate Profiles.

Abstract

21st-century learning requires teachers to be able to design meaningful, enjoyable learning processes that are oriented towards deep conceptual understanding. One relevant approach is deep learning, which emphasizes active student involvement, reflection, and the transfer of knowledge to real-world contexts. However, preliminary studies show that teachers' understanding of the concept of deep learning is still limited because this approach was only recently introduced by the Minister of Education. This community service activity aims to assist teachers at SMP 3 Bae in understanding and implementing the concept of deep learning as an enjoyable learning approach through the development of teaching modules. This activity was held on July 3 to 5, 2025, and was attended by all 38 teachers at SMP 3 Bae. The implementation method includes socialization of deep learning, presentation of deep learning concepts and teaching modules, analysis of teaching module examples, practice in developing teaching modules, and presentation and reflection on module results. Data were collected through observations, participant response questionnaires, and analysis of teaching module products. Data were analysed using descriptive analysis. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' conceptual understanding of deep learning and their ability to develop teaching modules oriented towards meaningful learning. Based on the evaluation of the activity, 90% of teachers showed readiness to apply deep learning in learning. This activity contributed to improving teachers' pedagogical competence and supported the implementation of active, meaningful, and enjoyable learning at school.
