Abstract

Data collection and storage of alumni data at SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi are still not centralized. Alumni data of SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi are spread across various storage media, such as in paper documents, ledgers and storage on computer devices. Data storage that is still in paper form causes the data search process to take a long time. This study aims to build an alumni data management information system that can carry out the process of recording alumni data and the process of disseminating information related to alumni. The system design uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the Aqile model. The system flow design uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results of the study are in the form of a website-based alumni data management information system. The alumni data management information system can function properly so that it can be used by SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi in assisting the process of recording and informing alumni data of SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi

Abstract

In the context of present educational challenges, the significance of computer technology is growing, aiming to improve administrative efficiency and communication among schools, teachers, and parents. Thus, it is essential to assess its influence on shaping a more contemporary and efficient education system, specifically in handling student grades through the adoption of web-based e-rapor systems. This research aims to simplify the teacher's task in administering student grades, reducing the time burden required in this process. The development method used is SDLC with a waterfall model. Data was obtained through field research, through observation and interviews. The research results show that this system is considered very good, with an average percentage of assessments by experts reaching 84.17%. Component assessment also shows good performance, such as functionality (87.5%), reliability (79.17%), usability (82.14%), efficiency (81.25%), maintainability (100%), and portability ( 75%). System users also gave very good ratings, with an average rating percentage reaching 86.36%. User component assessments include website appearance (85%), website menu (87.5%), website content (86%), user friendliness (83.33%), and usefulness (90%). The results of this research indicate that the web-based e-rapor information system is very suitable for use with excellent performance, responding to the demands of current educational needs.

Abstract

Abstract:  The teacher performance evaluation process at SMK Negeri 10 Bungo has so far been carried out manually, which results in the process taking a relatively long time and the resulting data is difficult to use for continuous performance evaluation. This poses a challenge in ensuring that the teacher performance evaluation process is carried out efficiently, quickly, and accurately Therefore, this study aims to design a systematic and computerized teacher performance assessment information system using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. This research was conducted using Visual Studio Code as the development editor and the PHP 8 programming language. The results of this study are the Design of a Teacher Performance Assessment Information System with an iterative model consisting of six stages: planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and management. System testing is divided into two stages, namely Alpha testing (which includes whitebox and blackbox testing) and Beta testing by experts and users. The results of the Beta test show that the validation carried out by system experts obtained an average score of 88.5%, with the description "very good." Meanwhile, the user assessment questionnaire involving admins, principals, and teachers obtained an average score of 81%, also with the description "very good.". Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi penilaian kinerja guru yang sistematis dan terkomputerisasi dengan menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Visual Studio Code sebagai editor pengembangan dan bahasa pemrograman PHP 8. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penilaian Kinerja Guru dengan model iteratif yang terdiri dari enam tahapan: perencanaan, analisis, desain, implementasi, pengujian, dan pengelolaan. Pengujian sistem dibagi menjadi dua tahap, yaitu pengujian Alpha (yang meliputi pengujian whitebox dan blackbox) dan pengujian Beta oleh tenaga ahli dan pengguna. Hasil pengujian Beta menunjukkan bahwa validasi yang dilakukan oleh tenaga ahli sistem memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88,5%, dengan keterangan "sangat baik." Sementara itu, angket penilaian pengguna yang melibatkan admin, kepala sekolah, dan guru memperoleh nilai rata-rata 81%, juga dengan keterangan "sangat baik."

Abstract

The development of Mobile Learning Management System (M-LMS) is designed to improve the effectiveness and practicability of Human and Computer Interaction subject (IMK) in the study program of Information System in STMIK Nurdin Hamzah Jambi. Mobile Learning is a development of e-learning. Learning Management System (LMS) with the concept of e-learning model utilizes internet facilities and mobile devices. These concept is also known as Mobile learning management System. A survey that have been conducted to the lecturer of IMK as well as the students who take this subject indicates that in avarage of 90% of them own private mobile device whether smartphone, android, and laptops. To date, the result or outcome of IMK students tend to low due to the learning process that still use traditional way while the subject matter developed along with the development of technology. Therefore, it is conceives the importance of having a learning model by using Mobile learning Management System (M-LMS). The M-LMS that developed aims to impove the outcomes of students who take the subject of human and computer interaction. The objective of designed learning model is as a suplement in the learning proccess, thus it could increase the effectiveness and practicability of IMK subject. The research was conducted by using quantitative methods that involved 51 students (26 students from experiment classroom and 25 students from control classroom) and 3 lecturers who teach IMK. The analysis technique is done based on the result of questionnaire on the implementation of learning model by using Mobile learning Management System. The result shows that the development of M-LMS on the IMK subject that have been tested is supported both by lecturers and students.

Abstract

M-LMS android is an innovative learning model using internet technology. One of the media or applications that can be used to facilitate learning is to use M-LMS based android. M-LMS based on android implemented to improve teacher competence in SMKN 1 City of Jambi. In 2017 teachers in SMKN 1 city of Jambi on average from their teachers have used android as much as 98% and students who use android as much as 91.82%, 2.24% using IOS, Manual 4% and 1.94% have no android nor IOS. M-LMS android is one of the learning models that will be used in SMKN 1 Kota Jambi. In addition to the learning managerial implemented, M-LMS is able to provide new alternatives about information-based learning media that can be used in the learning process both in the classroom whenever and wherever. Problems can also be solved when a learning model emerges using M-LMS using an android based flatform moodle that can help teachers and students in the learning process whenever and wherever.

Abstract

Public Senior High School 6 is a school located in the city of Jambi, each semester this school distributes scholarships to students. Scholarships distributed by schools are to help disadvantaged students. The problems faced by state Senior High School 6 in the selection of scholarships have not only been on target and the selection process has not been effective so that the scholarships given are uneven. Inaccuracies in selecting scholarships often occur, because the selection team is carried out by teachers from their own schools. Teachers who become the selection team only have little time to do the selection process besides having to teach. to overcome this problem, the research method that will be used is the profile matching method. Because profile matching uses accurate calculations and can be calculated the truth. So that this research can be recommended so that the selection of scholarship selection in Senior High School 6 is more selective.

Abstract

This study discusses how the effectiveness of the Online Exam Application at SMP Negeri 20 Jambi City. At present the results of student grades based on computer-based national exam results (UNBK) at SMP Negeri 20 Jambi City have not yet achieved good test scores or have not met the minimum score criteria. With the online exam application, it can provide results and positive responses especially to students. And with this application the average results of students' readiness in facing online exams can increase by an average of 95% and this is a pretty good result. the effectiveness can be seen from the teacher and student data that 10 teachers and 97 students stated that the online exam application was effective in preparing students for UNBK. This application uses PHP, MSQL, cPanel, and Xampp tools. The output of this research can be in the form of online exam system software products.

Abstract

This study aims to improve and enhance the learning model in higher education by using a problem-based learning (PBL) model approach with a mobile-based Moodle platform. The data tested in this study consisted of 46 respondents, 20 lecturers and 26 students. The method used in this research is research and development in the Information Systems Audot Subject. The results showed that 80% of lecturers and 82.83% of students stated that this approach was practical to be used in the learning process. Therefore, this study can be a reference in the implementation of learning using the PBL approach with the Mobile-based Moodle platform at universities in Indonesia.

Abstract

College official website is an official website owned by a university that is used to convey information online. Currently the development of technology is very rapid and fast, starting from the development of programming languages, security and server changes that continue to increase all the time making it very difficult for some webmasters to keep up with very fast changes. The Content Management System provides many conveniences and advantages in building an official website. In the content management system, there are already various features that are very good at developing official webs in terms of updating features and technology easily, good SEO and also very good security. One of the popular content management systems today is Joomla because currently Joomla supports nearly 2 million websites on the internet. Joomla is a type of CMS (Content Management System) which is open source and based on PHP and MySQL. This platform offers various advanced features that will help the process of creating a website or application easily. To overcome the rapid development of programming language and security technology, the researchers built an official university website using the Joomla CMS to make it easier to update and upgrade the features available on the website later. With the official web using Joomla CMS, it is hoped that the website will be more powerful, stable, well indexed SEO and ease of updating and upgrading when changes and improvements occur from the server and technology side.
