Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate community members' skills and comprehension in reading Arabic news before and after they used audio-visual media. The theoretical underpinning of this study is the idea that exposure to audio-visual materials will enhance one's news reading skills. The researchers' theory states that people interested in reading the news through audio-visual media have improved their news-reading skills. The method used in this research was a quasi-experimental method with a one-group design based on pre-test and post-test. The population in this study covered all members of the news reading community, totalling 20 students at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This research used quantitative data analyses of pre-test and post-test results using the Lilioforce equation. One of the present study’s results showcased that prior to employing the audio-visual media, the members of Arabic Language Teaching Division's news-reading mission had a poor level, as seen by the average score of 68.3. Their grade after utilizing it was good, as evidenced by the average score of 87.2. According to the interpretation criterion, the result of (N-D) was 0.60 or 60% in a moderate classification. Therefore, these results indicated that the audio-visual method effectively improved news-reading skills. This study suggests future’s research to assess the other foreign language proficiency in greater detail using a wider range of research techniques.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tren dan isu terkini dalam penggunaan uji-t dan chi-kuadrat dalam bidang pendidikan. Metode statistik ini merupakan alat penting dalam menganalisis data pendidikan untuk mengambil keputusan yang lebih informasi. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dua isu utama yang saat ini mendominasi penggunaan uji-t dan chi-kuadrat dalam konteks pendidikan.Pemanfaatan rumus statistik One-Sample T Test, Paired Sample T Test dan Independent-Sample T Test serta Chi Square berperan positif dalam proses penelitian sosial khususnya di dunia pendidikan. Proses analisa dapat dilakukan secara manual dan dengan bantuan aplikasi modern seperti SPSS. Banyak penelitian lain yang menggunakan uji-t dan chi square. Kemudian untuk mengolah data penelitian sebelumnya dapat menggunakan berbagai tools seperti SPSS. Banyak program pengolahan data statistik yang tersedia untuk digunakan, namun selain menerjemahkan hasil program ke dalam bentuk kualitatif, pengguna harus menghubungkan kesimpulan dari data yang diperoleh. Terkadang sulit mengambil kesimpulan dari hasil pengolahan data tersebut, terutama bagi pengguna yang belum paham dengan konsep statistika.

Abstract

Changes in the curriculum certainly have their effects, one of which is the use of textbooks used in education. Textbooks are one of the essential elements in learning because they are learning materials and sources of guidance in them. There are many written textbooks based on the 2013 curriculum, and among the textbooks that are widely used in schools are Arabic books by H. Darsono and T. Ibrahim for grade VIII in Tsanawiyah. This study aimed to determine the selection of material, its arrangement, presentation, and repetition in Arabic textbooks for grade VIII in Madrasah Tsanawiyah according to the 2013 curriculum. The research method used in this study is the analytical descriptive method. The type of data used is qualitative data because the source of data in this study is a textbook written by H.  Darsono and T. Ibrahim to teach Arabic until eighth grade in Islamic High School. The study results are 1) Selection of subjects in textbooks written by H. Darsono and T. Ibrahim to teach Arabic for grade VIII at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, according to educational objectives, student levels, and specified time. 2) The material's structure includes structural and moral grouping and the education arrangement from accessible material to complex material. 3) The presentation of articles includes discriminatory procedures and intensive procedures. 4) Repetition in this book is based on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Abstract

Suhrawardi's Isyraqiyah philosophy emerged as a critique of the perceived limitations within Aristotelian peripatetic philosophy. This study investigates the enduring significance of Suhrawardi’s teachings and their relevance in contemporary philosophical discourse. Employing a qualitative research methodology and an extensive literature review, we analyze Suhrawardi's philosophical contributions towards understanding the complexities of existence. Our findings highlight how Isyraqiyah philosophy promotes tranquility and contemplation, offering a blend of philosophical and spiritual reasoning. This philosophy provides profound insights into the multifaceted nature of existence, guiding individuals in navigating contemporary challenges. Thus, Suhrawardi's Isyraqiyah philosophy remains a vital source of enlightenment and guidance, offering a robust framework for philosophical and spiritual contemplation in modern contexts.

Abstract

There is a significant relationship between modernization and religion in this modern and global era. In the Indonesian context, religion, teaching patterns and traditions, are preserved as a fundamental basis for morality to influence the flow of modernization. Indonesian society, in general, is divided into two modernist and traditional groups. This grouping occurs because of the historical perspective. The existence of Islam in Indonesia collides with various forms of local syncretism and also with Western civilization, especially in the period of colonialism and traditions of ancestors. As happened in the Javanese tribe, they still perform traditional ceremonies, as well as in other regions in Indonesia. This study reveals the role of Islamic education in enhancing the resilience of local culture in Indonesia to remain consistent despite being hit by currents of modernization and globalization.

Abstract

This paper discusses the result of research related to problem-based learning models. The findings of this study are related to the efforts of improving students' social sensitivity. One of the goals of education is to make the output in this case students become successful people both academically and non-academically and have positive moral values in society. To achieve maximum learning outcomes, an educator can use the problem-based learning model. This problem-based learning model is a learning model that links students with the real world so that they are more sensitive to their social environment. These problems make students think critically to be able to solve the puzzle and can be implemented in their social space.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus, which is endemic throughout the world, is no exception to the government's proximity to making home study policies in the realm of education. All levels of education starting from the lowest level such as early childhood education to the university level carry out their knowledge through Cyber Learning. In today's era of crisis, it is difficult to enjoy virtual learning. Various platforms from around the world provide internet-based education services or CyberLearning free. This paper uses a library research method with data sources obtained from various credible written sources. Careful preparation is required to be able to carry out Cyber Learning-based learning for both educators and students so that learning can run smoothly. Whatsapp, Google Classroom, Zoom, and Schoology are some examples of Cyber Learning that can be used easily for educators and students.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi dari trading places sebagai dari strategi pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran itu sendiri yakni adalah sebuah gabungan atau tatanan dari serangakaian kegiatan proses balajar mengajar, dengan melakukan suatu cara seperti halnya menjelaskan suatu meteri pembelajaran kepada siswa, seperti bahan ajar, waktu maupun peralatan yang dibutuhkan dalam proses belajar mengajar guna untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan terlebih dahulu. Kemudian strategi trading itu sendiri yakni usaha untuk mendorong para peserta didik untuk lebih mengenal, serta bertukar pendapat maupun bertukar gagasan atau pun mencari ide-ide baru dari permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada, dengan demikian strategi ini sangat diperlukan guna untuk kelancaran dalam proses belajar mengajar, di dalam pembelajaran pun tidak dapat terlepas dari pedoman agama Kata Kunci: Strategi Pembelajaran, Trading Places Dan PAI Abstract The study is intended to find out how the strategy of trading places as a learning strategy, the learning strategy itself is a combination or arrangement of a series of teaching and learning process activities, by doing a way such as explaining a learning material to students, such as teaching materials, time as well as the equipment needed in the teaching and learning process in order to achieve the learning objectives that have been set in advance. Abstract

This paper examines the eco-theologycal value of Serat Kalatidha by Raden Ngabehi Ranggawarsita. The ancient Javanese manuscript Serat Kalatidha is studied with a philosophical approach. The purpose of this study is to reveal the eco-theologycal value contained in Serat Kalatidha. This study adopted a library qualitative research methodology. The primary data source used was Serat Kalatidha by Ranggawarsita and secondary data sources were journal manuscripts, research results related to this paper. The data that has been collected is processed using philology, then the next step is data analysis with descriptive analytic. Fiber Kalatidha, reminds that humans will always be responsible for their environment so that they are in harmony with the purposes of the caliph on earth and God's creatures.
