Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the level of entrepreneurial readiness among students of SMK Negeri 1 Mandau, Bathin Sholapan District, Bengkalis Regency. The background of the study was driven by government efforts to address poverty through vocational education. SMKs are generally tasked with preparing students for work or entrepreneurship. However, a phenomenon was found at SMK Negeri 1 Mandau that not all students have optimal readiness, characterized by a lack of self-confidence, limited capital, and minimal entrepreneurial experience. The entrepreneurial readiness variable is measured based on four indicators: self-confidence, courage to take risks, future-oriented, and creative and innovative. This study used a descriptive research type with a total of 82 students as respondents. The results showed that the average entrepreneurial readiness of SMK Negeri 1 Mandau students was 3.65, which is in the fairly high category interpretation. Specifically, the Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) department had the highest average score of 4.13, while the Building Modeling & Information Design (DPIB) department had the lowest average score of 3.22. Overall, these findings indicate that the entrepreneurial readiness of students at SMK Negeri 1 Mandau is good and needs further improvement.

Abstract

Abstract: Learning motivation is a drive or factor that grows within a person to carry out their activities more actively, especially in personal change. Each student has a different background and characteristics that can influence their motivation to learn. Therefore, tutors need to make efforts to increase students' learning motivation so they can actively participate in the learning process. This study aims to determine the efforts of tutors in increasing the learning motivation of Package B students at SPNF SKB Pekanbaru City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The subjects of this study were Package B tutors. The results of the study showed four main patterns in the efforts made by tutors to increase the learning motivation of Package B students, namely 1) Efforts to foster enthusiasm for success are carried out by setting goals and strengthening the determination to learn, 2) Efforts to encourage students' self-confidence are carried out through providing appreciation and participation, 3) Efforts that lead to the students' ideals are carried out by linking learning with the reality and ideals of students, and 4) Efforts to create a conducive learning environment are carried out by creating a safe and comfortable learning environment. Abstrak: Motivasi belajar adalah dorongan atau faktor yang tumbuh dalam diri seseorang agar melaksanakan aktivitas-aktivitasnya lebih giat lagi khususnya dalam perubahan diri pribadi. Setiap warga belajar memiliki latar belakang dan karakteristik yang berbeda-beda yang dapat mempengaruhi motivasi mereka dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, maka dibutuhkannya upaya tutor dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar warga belajar agar dapat berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya tutor dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar warga belajar Paket B di SPNF SKB Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakana metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan perolehan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini ialah tutor Paket B. hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat pola utama dalam upaya yang dilakukan oleh tutor dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar warga belajar Paket B, yaitu 1) Upaya menumbuhkan semangat untuk sukses dilakukan dengan penetapan tujuan dan penguatan tekad belajar, 2) Upaya mendorong kepercayaan diri warga belajar dilakukan melalui pemberian apresiasi dan partisipasi, 3) Upaya yang menjurus pada cita-cita warga belajar dilakukan melalui pengaitan pembelajaran dengan realita dan cita-cita warga belajar, serta 4) Upaya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dilakukan dengan penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan nyaman.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study was to examine the implementation of religious character education for children at the Maranatha Orphanage in Pekanbaru. This qualitative, naturalistic study employed documentation, observation, and interviews for data collection, involving five informants: three caregivers and two children. Data analysis was conducted using a data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of religious character education at the Maranatha Orphanage has been quite effective. The process includes a planning stage where teaching materials are sourced from the Bible, Christian spiritual books, and activity schedules are created in collaboration with church officials. In the organizing phase, caregivers perform their respective duties and functions. The implementation of several routine worship activities is actively followed by the children. The parenting methods used are the exemplary behavior of the caregivers and habituation. Supervision is carried out through direct monitoring with the assistance of CCTV, and evaluation is done by providing direct advice through personal approaches and giving impromptu quizzes. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius pada anak asuh di panti asuhan maranatha kota pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian naturalistik dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara yang melibatkan 5 (lima) informan sebagai subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari 3 (tiga) pengasuh dan 2 (dua) anak asuh.  Dalam menyusun data menggunakan teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah  bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius pada anak asuh di panti asuhan maranatha kota pekanbaru telah berjalan cukup baik dimana proses pelaksanaannya mencangkup tahap perencanaan dimana bahan ajar diambil dari buku alkitab, buku-buku rohani kristen dan rundown kegiatan dibuat dengan bekerjasama dengan pengurus gereja. Pengorganisasian pengurus melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya masing-masing. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ibadah rutin di panti berupa doa pagi dan malam, ibadah sekolah minggu, ibadah pemuda, ibadah kebaktian/family lingked, dan puasa jumat setengah hari. Metode pengasuhan yang digunakan adalah keteladanan pengasuh dan pembiasaan. Pengawasan dilakukan dengan pemantauan secara langsung dibantu CCTV dan evaluasi dilakukan dengan memberikan nasehat secara langsung melalui pendekatan personal dan memberikan kuis mendadak. Pengasuh menunjukkan komitmen yang tinggi terhadap pembinaan karakter religius terhadap anak-anak asuh.

Abstract

Abstract: Education is the key to forming intelligent, character-based, and competitive individuals. Non-formal education plays a vital role in complementing formal education in shaping the character and skills of the community. However, limited facilities and access remain major challenges. The educational profile serves as an important basis for formulating policies and improving the quality of education in a region. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach that aims to provide an in-depth overview of the institutional profile of non-formal education in Kampung Perawang Indah, including the type of institution, number of participants, instructor qualifications, and its impact on the community. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that non-formal education in Kampung Perawang Indah is quite active and plays an important role in shaping the character of the community through two institutions, namely Pondok Tahfidz Syafa'atul Qur'an (28 students) and MDTA Nurul Jannah (42 students). Although the instructors are highly dedicated, limited facilities and support remain obstacles. In general, non-formal education in this area is effective as a complement to formal education, but requires policy support to improve its quality and access. Abstrak: Pendidikan adalah kunci pembentuk manusia yang cerdas, berkarakter, dan berdaya saing. Pendidikan nonformal berperan penting melengkapi pendidikan formal dalam membentuk karakter dan keterampilan masyarakat. Namun, keterbatasan fasilitas dan akses masih menjadi tantangan utama. Profil pendidikan menjadi dasar penting dalam merumuskan kebijakan dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di suatu wilayah. Adapun Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang mmempunyai tujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mendalam tentang profil kelembagaan pendidikan nonformal di Kampung Perawang Indah, termasuk jenis lembaga, jumlah peserta, kualifikasi instruktur, dan dampaknya terhadap masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pendidikan nonformal di Kampung Perawang Indah cukup aktif dan berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter masyarakat melalui dua lembaga, yakni Pondok Tahfidz Syafa’atul Qur’an (28 siswa) dan MDTA Nurul Jannah (42 siswa). Meski para instruktur berdedikasi tinggi, keterbatasan fasilitas dan dukungan masih menjadi kendala. Secara umum, pendidikan nonformal di daerah ini efektif sebagai pelengkap pendidikan formal, namun perlu dukungan kebijakan untuk peningkatan kualitas dan aksesnya.
