Abstract

In the retail industry, employees are considered the backbone of operations because they play a role in running the store's daily operations. However, many retail store employees experience discomfort while working and some of them even have the intention to leave their jobs. To reduce turnover intention, managers or company leaders must pay attention to factors that influence it, such as Workload, Work Stress, and Work Environment. This research seeks to examine The Effect of Workload, Work Stress, and Work Environment on Turnover Intention (Study on employees of Retail Stores). The study employed a quantitative method, utilizing Smart PLS version 4.0. Data was gathered through questionnaires, which were tested for validity and reliability (outer model). Subsequently, the structural model (inner model) was evaluated, which involved calculating the coefficient of determination (R²) and testing the hypotheses. The results indicated that workload and work stress had a significant impact on turnover intention, whereas the work environment did not significantly influence employee turnover intention.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of financial knowledge, self-control, and parental income on the financial behavior of students in Semarang, Central Java, with a population consisting of active students and a sample of 305 respondents. This quantitative study utilizes data obtained through Google Forms and analyzed using the Smart PLS 4 method. Measurements were made using a Likert scale from 1 to 5 for each indicator. The findings of this study indicate that financial knowledge and self-control have a significant and positive influence on financial behavior, with path coefficients of 0.417 and 0.303, respectively, and a p-value of 0.000. Parental income also has a significant impact on financial behavior with 90% confidence, although the path coefficient is lower at 0.078 and the p-value is 0.099. Overall, the three independent variables (financial competence, self-control, and parental income) together contribute 60% in explaining the variation in financial behavior. The remaining 40% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. This conclusion emphasizes that internal factors such as knowledge and self-control are very important, but family economic background also plays a role in shaping individual financial habits and decisions.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of capital structure (DER), company size (SIZE), and profitability (ROA) on firm value (PBV), while also examining the moderating role of ROA in the relationship between capital structure, company size, and firm value within the Indonesian property and real estate sector for the 2020–2024 period. Using panel data regression, the results indicate that DER, SIZE, and ROA each have a significant positive effect on firm value. Furthermore, ROA is proven to strengthen the influence of both capital structure and company size in enhancing firm value. These findings support Signaling Theory and Trade-Off Theory, confirming that efficient capital management and large company scale serve as positive signals for investors in the post-pandemic era. Practically, the results suggest that investors prioritize profitability as a key determinant when assessing investment prospects in the property sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Financial Literacy and Fintech utilization on Green Investment Intention, as well as to examine the role of Risk Tolerance as a moderating variable among the general public in Indonesia. The study uses a quantitative approach with an online survey of 150 respondents aged at least 18 years who have access to digital financial services and an interest in sustainable investment, using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results show that Financial Literacy and the use of Fintech have a positive effect on Green Investment Intention, while Risk Tolerance has a direct effect and strengthens the relationship between Financial Literacy and Fintech with Green Investment Intention. The research model was able to explain 70.2% of the variation in Green Investment Intention, confirming the importance of cognitive, technological, and psychological factors in encouraging sustainable investment. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of financial literacy, Fintech, and Risk Tolerance as moderating variables in the sustainable financial behavior model among the general public in Indonesia. These findings contribute to the development of sustainable finance literature and provide practical implications for governments, financial institutions, and Fintech providers in designing financial education policies and digital services that support the transition to a green economy.

Abstract

Financial well-being among Generation Z, who already have income, has become an increasingly significant issue with the development of digital technology, which offers ease of transactions, but also has the potential to trigger consumptive behavior due to low levels of financial literacy, YOLO and FOMO mindsets, and high use of digital financial services. This study aims to analyze the influence of Financial Literacy, Financial Attitude, and Self-Control on the financial well-being of Generation Z, who have income in Semarang City. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of the SmartPLS 4.0 program. The results show that Financial Literacy, Financial Attitude, and Self-Control have a positive and significant effect on the financial well-being of Generation Z. This study concludes that good financial literacy, the development of effective financial attitudes, and strengthening self-control in the use of digital financial services are important factors for Generation Z to achieve sustainable financial well-being.

Abstract

Profit growth is important for businesses as it can be used to forecast future business plans. Earnings growth is difficult to separate from the company's financial performance as measured by financial ratios. This study aims to determine the effect of accounts receivable turnover ratio, current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and inventory turnover on profit growth. This study has a population of 17 companies over three years (per quarter), and a sample of 204 collected through purposive sampling method, and this study uses data analysis methods, namely multiple regression analysis and panel data with Eviews 12 software. The analysis shows that ITR has a positive and significant effect on earnings growth (Ln), while RTR, CR, and DER have no effect on earnings growth (Ln). All independent variables, namely RTR, CR, DER, and ITR, affect earnings growth (Ln) simultaneously. Earnings growth (Ln) is influenced by the four independent variables by 9%. This shows the capability of financial ratios in anticipating profit increases and can influence investor investment decisions.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed consumption patterns among Generation Z, particularly within online gaming ecosystems such as Roblox. The platform encourages repeated virtual spending through its in-game currency system, making it relevant to examine how psychological and technological factors shape users' financial behavior. This study investigates the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), Financial Literacy, and Financial Technology (FinTech) on the financial behavior of Generation Z Roblox players in Indonesia. A quantitative research design was employed, with data gathered from 219 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The analytical method used was Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via SmartPLS 4 software. The findings indicate that Financial Literacy and FinTech adoption positively and significantly affect financial behavior, while FOMO shows a negative but statistically insignificant effect. The income variable (Benefit) used as a control also did not significantly influence financial behavior. The model achieved an R-square value of 0.632, suggesting that the independent variables collectively explain 63.2% of the variance in financial behavior. These results highlight the importance of financial education programs and the strategic use of digital payment tools in fostering responsible financial habits among young gamers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate PT Gudang Garam Tbk's financial situation and use the Modified Altman Z-Score model to forecast future financial difficulties. In addition, this study conducts a benchmarking analysis with peer companies in the tobacco industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) to determine the company’s relative position. Using financial statement data from 2019 to 2025, this study uses a quantitative descriptive methodology. To strengthen the analysis, a difference test was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test due to the non-normal distribution of the data. The results indicate that PT Gudang Garam Tbk consistently remains in the “healthy” category, with Z-Score values above the safe threshold (>2.6), suggesting no indication of financial distress. The difference test results show no significant difference between PT Gudang Garam Tbk and PT HM Sampoerna Tbk as well as PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk, while a significant difference is found when compared to PT Indonesian Tobacco Tbk. These findings suggest that PT Gudang Garam Tbk maintains a relatively stable and competitive financial position within the tobacco industry.
