Abstract

This research is done based on concerns with children?s lack of knowledge about the culture. Indonesia is a country that is rich in cultural diversity. Cultural diversity in Indonesia today is beginning to experience shock. The shock is caused by the entry of foreign culture which then dominated local culture. The media for the introduction of local culture in early childhood is minimal and less attractive. The creation of local cultural media today is not comparable to the creation of foreign media, so early childhood is more comfortable with foreign cultures and less familiar with the local culture. This study aims to determine the differences and knowledge of early childhood about cultural heritage in terms of the use of Punakawan novel graphics. This study uses quantitative research with experimental methods. The research design used is Pre-Experimental Designs. The population in this study are all students in the TK (Kindergarten) Khalifah 25 Semarang who are 5-6 years old, while the sample is 32 children aged 5-6 years who became the experimental class which are given treatment by researchers using the media graphic novel books of the clown. The data collection technique in this study uses a knowledge scale of cultural heritage. The data analysis technique uses Independent Sample t-Test. The results obtained t count> t table (11,825> 2,039) and the sig value (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05, then the hypothesis is accepted. The calculation of the percentage of cultural heritage knowledge in early childhood based on the application of novel graphic media has increased by 28% between pretest and posttest. The results of the study stated that there are differences and increased knowledge about cultural heritage in early childhood in terms of the use of Punakawan novel graphic.

Abstract

One of the character problems in early childhood is the lack of ability to be responsible, communicate, and cooperate. These three main behaviors are characteristics of leadership behavior. Responding to this, the researcher uses the Ksatria storybook media in this study to help kindergarten students understand and develop leadership behaviors. This research uses quantitative research method with Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data is taken using a questionnaire filled by class teachers. The sampling technique in this study is a purposive sampling technique. The sample is 30 students in the B3 class of TK IT (Islamic kindergarten) Al Hidayah Karanggede, Boyolali, as well as an experimental class that received the Knight Storybook application. The data is collected using a leadership character value scale. While the data analysis using hypothesis testing paired sample t-test. This study shows that there are differences in leadership character behavior of children aged 5-6 years before and after getting treatment and there is the influence of the Ksatria storybook in instilling leadership behavior in children aged 5-6 years. It is proven based on statistical calculations, that is obtained the value of sig (2-tailed) 0,000 <0.05 which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that the hypothesis test is accepted with the direction of a positive relationship. Thus, there are differences in leadership character behavior in early childhood after getting the Ksatria storybook method. In other words, the Ksatria book can be an alternative to planting leadership attitudes and behaviors in Kindergarten.

The number of samples taken using cluster sampling techniques is 30 teachers who are in 8 kindergarten institutions in Brebes Regency. The data collection techniques used in this study use a scale that refers to the Likert scale. The assumption test is carried out using the normality test and linearity test. Hypothesis testing uses a simple linear regression test. The results of research on the Effects of Educational Quality Mapping on Teacher Performance in Learning at Early Childhood Education Institutions with a simple linear regression analysis showed an R Square value of 68.7%. This shows that the mapping of the quality of education has an influence on teacher performance in learning at early childhood education institutions. This shows that the better the mapping of the quality of education, the better the level of teacher performance in learning. Education quality mapping is contributed to the performance of teachers in learning at early childhood educational institutions by 68.7% and the remaining 31.3% is influenced by other factors not covered in this study.

The research approach used is comparative quantitative with ex post facto design. In this study, subjects were parents who have children who attend accredited kindergartens in Pati, totalling 95 subjects. The samples were taken using the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a scale of academic service quality. The data analysis technique used is the non-parametric statistical hypothesis test using the Kruskal-Wallis test using the SPSS 25 program. The study results found that there were differences in the quality of academic services between Kindergartens accredited A, B and C. accredited A has a mean rank value of 71.70, the quality of Kindergarten academic services accredited B has a mean rank value of 30.85. In contrast, the quality of Kindergarten academic services accredited C has a mean rank value of 2.00. This means that the higher the level of accreditation, the higher the quality of academic services.
