Abstract

Social skills are a key component of early childhood social-emotional development. This study investigates the influence of gadget usage intensity, parenting patterns of working mothers, peer interaction, and the moderating role of father involvement on early childhood social development.This explanatory research employed a quantitative approach, targeting kindergarten teachers and students in Mayong District, Jepara Regency. Using proportionate random sampling, 100 participants were selected. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis with moderation testing.Findings revealed that gadget usage intensity (p = 0.041), working mothers' parenting patterns (p = 0.017), and peer interaction (p = 0.040) significantly affected early childhood social development. Father involvement significantly moderated the effect of working mothers' parenting patterns (p = 0.047), strengthening their influence on children’s social development. However, father involvement did not moderate the impact of gadget usage (p = 0.184) or peer interaction (p = 0.449).The results suggest that balanced parenting and peer interaction are crucial for early childhood social development, and father involvement can enhance maternal parenting effectiveness. In contrast, excessive gadget use remains a risk factor.Parental supervision, particularly in gadget use, is essential. Schools should implement interactive group activities to support children’s social skills. Future studies should explore additional influencing factors, such as family support and parent-child communication, to provide a more comprehensive understanding of early childhood social development.

Abstract

Accreditation is a crucial indicator for evaluating the quality of early childhood education (ECE) institutions. A decline in accreditation status reflects challenges in school management. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the declining accreditation of kindergartens in Magelang Regency through a SWOT analysis. The research employed a qualitative approach using observations, interviews, and primary data collected from teachers and principals of 10 kindergartens that experienced a decrease in accreditation, as well as secondary data from assessors and the local education office. The findings reveal that the main strength lies in the collaboration among teachers, principals, students, and parents in supporting school activities. The major weaknesses include teachers’ limited skills in information technology, inadequate documentation of learning activities, and insufficient mastery of learning concepts. Opportunities arise from government support and parental involvement, while threats stem from competition with newly established schools and parents’ low awareness of the importance of early childhood education. In conclusion, weaknesses and threats are more dominant in contributing to the decline in accreditation scores. Therefore, improving teachers’ competencies through training, strengthening parental engagement, and optimizing government support are crucial strategies to enhance the quality of ECE institutions.

Abstract

Aluminium 6061 material is often used in the shipbuilding industry, especially as a construction frame on ships. GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) are widely used in welding aluminium alloy materials. This research aims to determine and analyse the effect of V, X, and U groove variations welded using GMAW and GTAW on tensile strength of a 6061 aluminium alloy. The results of this study obtained the highest tensile stress value from the X groove GMAW welding of 149.22 MPa with a strain of 8.60%. The lowest tensile stress value was obtained from the U groove GTAW welding of 105.09 MPa with a strain of 3.18%. In general, the tensile strength value of GMAW welding is better than GTAW welding. Macro photo observations of GMAW welding show a small amount of porosity welding defects at the base of the weld, while GTAW welding shows a more amount of porosity welding defects at the base of the weld.

Abstract

Pengembangan kurikulum berupa proses yang dimulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, implementasi dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat penting bagi guru PAUD yang sudah tersertifikasi, agar guru mampu meningkatan kompetensi dalam pengembangan kurikulum yang selama ini masih belum optimal. Sertifikasi melalui PPG, juga tidak terlepas dari permasalahan terkait dengan capaian kompetensi yang telah dimilikinya, diantaranya: kompetensi guru masih perlu ditingkatkan dalam pengembangan kurikulum yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dalam menghadapi tantangan dan kurang siapnya guru dalam menghadapi perubahan kurikulum termasuk perubahan kebijakan kurikulum baru. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan kompetensi guru dalam pengembangan kurikulum PAUD pasca sertifikasi. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode participatory action research (PAR), dengan tujuan mengatasi masalah dan pemenuhan kebutuhan yang ada di masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pasca PPG, berperan meningkatkan kompetensi guru PAUD dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Kompetensi guru dalam pengembangan kurikulum PAUD diperoleh skor rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 34.575, dan berada pada kategori cukup.

Abstract

eacher professionalism is a critical determinant of educational quality, yet it is often influenced by leadership practices and the prevailing work climate in schools. This study addresses the problem of limited empirical evidence regarding how situational leadership contributes to teacher professionalism through the mediating role of work climate in early childhood education. The research aimed to analyze the direct and indirect effects of principals’ situational leadership on teacher professionalism at Raudlatul Athfal Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama Payaman, Magelang Regency. A quantitative explanatory design was employed involving 88 teachers selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using validated Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, path analysis, and the Sobel test to examine mediation effects. The results showed that situational leadership significantly affected work climate (β = 0.62, p < .001) and teacher professionalism (β = 0.35, p < .001). Work climate also had a significant mediating effect (β = 0.25, Sobel z = 3.90, p < .001), explaining 64% of the variance in teacher professionalism (R² = 0.64). The study concludes that adaptive situational leadership strengthens teacher professionalism both directly and indirectly by creating a positive, collaborative, and supportive work climate.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the utilization of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) among Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers in Semarang City and to identify factors influencing its adoption. A mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design was employed, combining a quantitative survey of 100 teachers and qualitative interviews with 10 selected participants. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and regression analyses, while qualitative data were examined through thematic analysis to explore teachers’ experiences in depth. The results showed that PMM utilization was at a moderate-high level, with teachers primarily using the platform for accessing teaching resources and curriculum development. Regression analysis indicated that digital literacy (β = 0.45, p < 0.001) and infrastructure support (β = 0.32, p = 0.003) significantly influenced PMM utilization, explaining 52% of the variance. Qualitative findings revealed three dominant themes: empowerment through PMM, barriers to optimal use, and the need for continuous institutional support. The study concludes that effective PMM adoption requires not only technological readiness but also sustained digital mentoring and institutional facilitation. These findings contribute to strengthening teacher professionalism and digital competence within the framework of Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

Risky play poses a dilemma for early childhood educators, raising concerns about children’s safety and institutional accountability. Teachers’ tolerance toward risky play is often influenced by their beliefs, confidence, and pedagogical competence. This study examines teachers’ beliefs and strategies in facilitating risky play through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by PRISMA procedures. Eleven empirical studies published between 2021 and 2025 were selected from major academic databases. The findings indicate that teachers employ strategies such as creating supportive environments, providing responsive supervision, offering physical and verbal scaffolding, explaining potential risks, and encouraging children’s autonomous exploration. Teachers’ beliefs significantly shape the implementation and sustainability of risky play practices. Educators with strong confidence in the developmental value of controlled risk tend to adopt facilitative roles rather than restrictive ones, enabling children to assess risks, build resilience, collaborate with peers, and develop independence. The review highlights the importance of strengthening teachers’ professional competence and institutional support to optimize meaningful risky play experiences.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis strategi guru dalam menstimulasi keterampilan berimajinasi anak usia dini melalui penggunaan media loose parts dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini ( PAUD). Imajinasi merupakan kemampuan fundamental yang mendukung perkembangan kognitif, sosial-emosional, dan kreativitas anak, namun praktik pembelajaran di banyak satuan PAUD masih cenderung terstruktur, instruktif, dan berorientasi pada produk akhir, sehingga membatasi eksplorasi imajinatif anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi literatur dengan pendekatan analisis isi terhadap artikel jurnal empiris yang dipublikasikan pada rentang tahun 2015–2025 dan diperoleh melalui basis data Google Scholar, ERIC, dan Scopus. Sebanyak 14 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil analisis mengidentifikasi empat strategi utama guru dalam menstimulasi imajinasi anak melalui loose parts, yaitu: penyediaan lingkungan bermain yang terbuka dan fleksibel, peran guru sebagai fasilitator proses bermain, pemberian scaffolding minimal dan kontekstual, serta penerapan observasi dan dokumentasi proses imajinatif anak. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa efektivitas loose parts sebagai media pedagogis sangat bergantung pada strategi guru dalam memediasi pengalaman bermain anak. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada penguatan pedagogi berbasis bermain dengan menekankan peran strategis guru dalam pengembangan imajinasi anak usia dini.

Abstract

Tantangan baru anak usia dini di Era Digital yaitu adanya risiko cyberbullying dan pemisahan sosial karena ketergantungan dari Gadget. Landasan sosiologis PAUD yang meliputi nilai,norma dan interaksi sosial merupakan menjadi hal yang penting untuk membangun resiliensi anak agar mampu beradaptasi secara positif di Era Digital.Untuk metode pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Adapun untuk data sekundernya dikumpulkan dari artikel jurnal nasional maupun internasional yaitu yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2017 sampai 2025 yang melalui basis data Google Scholar, ERIC, ResearchGate, dan DOAJ.Analisisnya dilakukan dengan teknik sintesis tematik untuk mengintegrasikan temuan dari berbagai sumber.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Landasan sosiologis PAUD secara stabil memberikan peran positif terhadap resiliensi anak.Dan untuk Strategi integratifnya yaitu melalui program PAUD Holistik Integratif yang melibatkan saling mendukung antara guru, sekolah, dan orang tua dan itu menjadi kunci utama. Selain itu, penerapan pola asuh partisipatif dan pengasuhan teknologi pintar atau intelligent technoparenting terbukti sangat efektif dalam meminimalisir dampak negatif digital serta dapat menanamkan nilai karakter pada anak seperti mampu bekerja sama, mandiridan kepedulian pada Generasi Alpha. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Landasan sosiologis berfungsi sebagai ketahanan sosial yang mengubah membentuk individu beretika. Keberhasilan resiliensi anak di era digital bukan hanya hasil kekuatan internal, Melainkan hasil kolaborasi holistik antar lingkungan sosial yang saling mendukung.

Abstract

Perkeretaapian sebagai salah satu moda transportasi yang memiliki karakteristik dan keunggulan khusus, terutama dalam kemampuannya untuk mengangkut, baik untuk orang maupun barang, menghemat energi, menghemat penggunaan ruang, mempunyai faktor keselamatan yang tinggi. Mengingat karakteristik dan keunggulan tersebut, maka perkeretaapian terus dikembangkan dan dilakukan peningkatan sarana dan prasarana perkeretaapian, yang ditandai dengan telah dioperasikannya rel ganda Jalur Utara Jakarta-Surabaya pada tahun 2014 yang lalu dan pembangunan rel ganda Jalur Selatan Jakarta-Surabaya yang saat ini sedang dikerjakan dan ditargetkan selesai pada tahun 2017. Di samping itu pada saat ini juga secara bertahap telah dioperasikan lokomotif yang dibeli oleh PT Kereta Api Indonesia sebanyak 100 unit, dan 1.000 unit gerbong datar untuk peti kemas, serta 1.200 unit kereta rel listrik (KRL). Pembelian lokomotif tersebut untuk meningkatkan angkutan kereta api khususnya angkutan batu bara di Sumatera Selatan yang ditargetkan 25 juta ton per tahun pada 2020, sedangkan pembelian gerbong datar tersebut untuk meningkatkan angkutan peti kemas hingga 1 juta peti kemas per tahun. Kemudian pembelian KRL untuk memenuhi target angkutan penumpang kereta api di Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, dan Bekasi sebanyak 1,2 juta orang per hari pada 2019. Dengan penambahan jumlah prasarana dan sarana perkeretaapian untuk angkutan orang dan barang tersebut, tentunya akan berakibat pada peningkatan frekuensi perjalanan kereta api dari Jakarta menuju Bandung, Cirebon, Pekalongan, Semarang, Purwokerto,Yogyakarta, Solo, Bojonegara, Madiun dan Surabaya dan begitu sebaliknya, terutama yang melalui Jalur Kereta Api Cikarang-Cikampek. Jalur Kereta Api Cikampek-Cikarang atau sebaliknya tersebut merupakan pertemuan jalur kereta api dari arah Cirebon dan dari arah Bandung, sehingga frekuensinya lebih padat daripada jalur yang lainnya. Pada Jalur Kereta Api Cikarang-Cikampek terdapat 10 perlintasan sebidang resmi.
