Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to examine the significance of POS role models as mediation to organizational justice relations (procedural and distribusional) directed at the individual relationship to the organization (OCBO). Respondents in this study are non-permanent faculty members in PTM accredited A (UMS, UMY, UMM, UHAMKA, and UAD). The survey results on the five PTM get 150 non-permanent lecturers willing to be respondents. The result of SEM analysis shows that procedural and distributional equity correlate positively and significantly to POS. One thing that is different in the findings of this study is the weak relationship between POS and OCBO. Procedural justice has a significant direct relationship to OCBO, but not with distributive justice.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the differences in underlying psychological aspects regarding pro-environmental  behavior between two distinct consumer groups: green product  and non-green product consumers. Psychological aspects investigated includes cognitive attitude, affective attitude, social norm, and behavioral intention. Using survey, a total of 276 responses from Solo, Jogyakarta, and Semarang are succesfully collected. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to check the measurement model, while a multiple regression and MANOVA were performed to examine the proposed hypothesis. Compared to non-green product consumers, green product consumers exhibited significantly higher levels of cognitive attitude, affective attitude, social norm, personal norm, and green consumer behavior. Also cognitive, affective attitude, and personal norm predicted green consumer behavior. The limitations of this study include the self-reporting questionnare and the measurmenet of consumers’ recycling intention rather than their actual behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of skeptic attitude directly or through the role of mediation of Environmental Concern (EC) and Perceived Environmental Consumer (PEC) on the behavior of purchasing green products. The survey with questionnaire instrument in 299 Solo residents, using the structural equation model found that skeptic attitude had direct effect on EC and PEC, but did not significantly influence the buying behavior of green products. PEC becomes a full-fledged mediation role in the influence of consumers' skeptic attitudes toward their purchasing behavior of green products, unlike the EC that cannot mediate those relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the double mediation of cognition-based trust and affect-based trust, along with the quality of the exchanges (perceived organizational support/POS and leader-member exchange/LMX), on the influence of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The survey involved 182 contract lecturers from the five top Muhammadiyah universities in Indonesia. Using structural equation models, this study has succeeded in demonstrating that the quality of the individual exchanges between supervisors and subordinates (LMX and affective-based trust) successfully mediate the sources of justice from the supervisors (interactional and informational justice). The quality of the individual exchanges with organizations (cognitive-based trust and POS) successfully mediate the sources of the organization (procedural justice). Implications for the theory and practice are discussed.
