Abstract

Educational methodologies have continually evolved to accommodate the diverse needs of learners. One such evolution has seen the rise of game-based learning, aiming to make education more interactive and engaging. This research focused on determining the efficacy of the Jeopardy game in enhancing the understanding of the simple present tense among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Ambawang during the Academic Year 2022/2023. Using a pre-experimental research design, this study delved into the potential advantages of game-based learning over traditional teaching methods. A sample size of 25 students from class VII A was meticulously chosen to ensure the results' consistency and accuracy. To measure the students' grasp of the simple present tense both before and after the Jeopardy game intervention, a multiple-choice test, consisting of 20 items, was administered. Each item in the test offered four options (a, b, c, and d) for students to choose from. Statistical analysis of the gathered data resulted in compelling outcomes. The null hypothesis (H0), which posited that the Jeopardy game would have no significant impact on the students' understanding of the simple present tense, was soundly rejected. In contrast, the alternative hypothesis (Ha), suggesting the game's effectiveness, was accepted. This conclusion was bolstered by a notable t-value of 9.62, surpassing the critical t-table value of 2.064 at 24 degrees of freedom with a 5% significance level. Furthermore, the study highlighted a strong effect size of 1.9, indicating the game's substantial impact on learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana manajemen pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang efektif merupakan proses yang kompleks dan integral, melibatkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang terkoordinasi untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang holistik. Dalam perencanaan, guru harus menetapkan tujuan pembelajaran yang jelas, memilih materi yang relevan, serta merancang aktivitas yang variatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan beragam siswa, sambil mempertimbangkan integrasi nilai-nilai agama dalam setiap aspek pembelajaran. Selama pelaksanaan, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan memotivasi, serta memanfaatkan teknologi dan metode pengajaran yang inovatif, menjadi kunci dalam menjaga keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Evaluasi berkelanjutan, baik formatif maupun sumatif, penting untuk mengukur pencapaian hasil belajar, memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif, dan menilai perkembangan sikap serta nilai spiritual siswa.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that the learning carried out is still conventional, so it does not support this learning. The aim of this research is to look at e-learning modules as supporting learning at SMKN 4 Rambah. This research uses research and development methods. The sample in this research was students of SMKN 4 Rambah Class XI TKJ Department. The data collection technique in this research is using questionnaires. The results of the answers to the questionnaire above, from 30 people with a total of 45 questions answered, of which one question has a value of 1 if the answer is yes and 0 if the answer is no, from these results we get an interval class of 20 – 24 with 3 people or 10%, 25 – 29 with 5 people or 17%, 30 – 34 with 15 people or 50%, 35 – 39 with 4 people or 13%, 40 – 44 with 3 people or 10%. Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between birth weight and birth length with the height of children aged 36-48 months at the Pante Ceureumen Health Center, West Aceh Regency. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, data collection occurred between July 24-31, 2023. The sample included 55 mothers who gave birth at the health center three years prior, selected using a total sampling method. Data were gathered through anthropometric measurements and structured interviews with mothers. Statistical analysis revealed no significant relationship between birth weight and the height of children aged 36-48 months, as indicated by a p-value (p > 0.05). Similarly, no significant correlation was found between birth length and the height of children in this age group. These findings highlight the need for regular participation in integrated health services (posyandu) to monitor children’s growth and development. Health workers are also encouraged to increase community engagement by conducting educational outreach programs on stunting prevention and optimal child nutrition practices.

Abstract

This research is motivated by learning Arabic for the fifth grade students of SDIT Permata Bunda II Teluk Betung Bandar Lampung. Where students still have difficulty in learning Arabic, This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that aims to analyze the factors of learning difficulties in Arabic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that aims to analyze the factors of learning difficulties in Arabic. The subject of this research is the fifth grader Yahya SDIT Permata Bunda II Teluk Betung Bandar Lampung in the 2020/2021 academic year. with a total of 27 students. This data collection technique uses interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the difficulty of learning Arabic at SDIT Permata Bunda II is grouped into two, namely internal factors and external factors. Where students have difficulty learning Arabic regarding internal factors, namely students find it difficult to understand Arabic lessons and the assumption that Arabic is a difficult language to learn, External factors that cause student learning difficulties can be found in the family environment which consists of a lack of attitude and encouragement to learn, lack of parental support for Arabic lessons, mother tongue and environmental factors and lack of student motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi politik pasangan Hamsuardi dan Risnawanto pada kampanye pemilihan kepala daerah tahun 2020 di Kabupaten Pasaman Barat serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pada kampanye pasangan tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Lokasi Penelitian yang dipilih yaitu Jorong IV Koto Barat Kecamatan Kinali Kabupaten Pasaman Barat karena masyarakatnya sangat antusias dalam pemilihan kepala daerah tahun 2020. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini pasangan Hamsuardi-Risnawanto dalam kampanye memakai strategi yaitu strategi Positioning ketika tawaran produk politik ke kontestan yang khas dan jelas, strategi Branding ketika merk-merk tokoh membranding dirinya lewat media sosial dan lain sebagainya, dan strategi segmenting ketika kandidat menyasar pemilih menengah kebawah.

Abstract

This study will analyse how parenting programs improve pre-literacy and numeracy skills in early childhood. This study uses a case study approach, where interviews, observations and documentation are used as media for data collection. Data are analysed in stages, from data display, data reduction, and concluding with conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that parenting programs in improving pre-literacy and numeracy skills in early childhood are carried out through providing stimulation through daily activities, building a supportive learning environment, an individualised approach in learning, and increasing family involvement in children's education. This study offers implications for the importance of parenting programs in pre-literacy and numeracy skills in early childhood through daily stimulation, a supportive learning environment, an individualised approach, and family involvement. These findings provide insight into developing more structured and relevant parenting programs to support optimal child development at home and school.

Abstract

Learning achievement is an illustration of the level of success of students in learning. In accordance with the regulations determined by the Bina Dharma Pringsewu Training Course Institution (LKP) to find out outstanding students, criteria are needed to determine who will be selected as the most accomplished students. The purpose of this study is to design a Student Value Information System as a support in decision making and daily operational needs, and to compare the effectiveness and efficiency of processing data processing and the presentation of information between existing systems and information systems that will be proposed. In improving the development process, the writer will develop a Student Information System as a support in making decisions using Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Proces) method is suitable to be applied by determining the weight value of all criteria for each student so that the school can make a decision to determine the outstanding students. The research carried out in this case is a qualitative descriptive study by conducting a survey of the object of research, namely at the Institute of Training Courses (LKP) Bina Dharma Pringsewu, Pringsewu Regency using data collection techniques namely observation (observation), interview (interview), and library research. The conclusion of this research is that the new system is expected to provide convenience to the parties involved in processing data quickly and accurately and can store data safely so that it helps in the process of service to students and the public

Abstract

Kelurahan Sukoharjo, salah satu dari tujuh kelurahan di Kabupaten Pringsewu, Pemerintah Kota Pringsewu telah mengeluarkan Peraturan Daerah Nomor 1 Tahun 2022, mewajibkan semua warga bertanggung jawab terhadap sampah yang dihasilkan. Di wilayah ini, pengelolaan sampah anorganik terjaga melalui bank sampah yang dioperasikan secara rutin. Sampah organik dikelola dengan metode biopori, digunakan sebagai resapan dan pupuk kompos. Kegiatan pengabdian meliputi perencanaan, penyuluhan, dan pelatihan pembuatan Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB). Sosialisasi biopori melibatkan 45 peserta, termasuk ketua RW dan ketua penanganan sampah dari setiap RW. Materi meliputi metode pengelolaan sampah, jenis sampah rumah tangga, pengelolaan hasil biopori, dan maggot yang dihasilkan. Biopori diisi dengan sampah organik rumah tangga secara berkala, dan lubang biopori yang terisi penuh menunggu beberapa waktu. Hasil dari penimbunan sampah organik dalam biopori adalah kompos yang digunakan sebagai pupuk tanaman. Biopori menjadi solusi inovatif dalam penanganan limbah rumah tangga dan mengatasi penutupan tempat pembuangan akhir sampah di Piayungan selama tiga bulan terakhir. Program ini menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih bersih, sehat, dan berkelanjutan bagi warga Sukoharjo dan Kabupaten Pringsewu secara keseluruhan

Abstract

Tanaman ubi jalar sangat menjanjikan untuk dikembangkan. Selain fungsinya sebagai pengganti bahan makanan pokok, ubi jalar memiliki prospek yang cukup bagus sebagai komoditas pertanian unggulan. Membudidayakan ubi jalar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pangan masyarakat dan menjadi sumber pendapatan bagi petani. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari dosis interaksi pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk NPK yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil ubi jalar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 04 Oktober 2024 sampai 02 Januari 2025. Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu pupuk kandang ayam (A) dan pupuk NPK (P). Faktor pupuk kandang ayam yaitu a1 = 0,37 kg/tanaman, a2 = 0,75 kg/tanaman, a3 = 1,12 kg/tanaman. Faktor pupuk NPK yaitu p1 = 7,5 gram/tanaman, p2 = 11,2 gram/tanaman, p3 = 15 gram/tanaman. Parameter pengamatan pada penelitian ini meliputi: jumlah cabang (cabang), panjang sulur (cm), jumlah umbi per tanaman (umbi), berat umbi per tanaman (g), diameter umbi (cm), dan panjang umbi (cm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi interaksi antara pemberian pupuk kandang ayam dan NPK pada semua parameter. Pemberian NPK memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap parameter panjang sulur dan diameter umbi. Pemberian pupuk kandang ayam dengan dosis 10 ton/ha dan dosis NPK 300 kg/ha merupakan dosis yang efektif untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil ubi jalar.
