Abstract

This global pandemic situation demands various changes in the world of education, including in the teaching and learning process which must be done online through online learning media. Many teachers have difficulties in this regard, one of which is the MGMP PAI SMK Blitar Regency. Therefore, this research will assist in the use of various applications that can help online learning at the MGMP PAI SMK in Blitar Regency. In this research-based service, the researcher es the Participatory Action Research approach, starting with planning; action; evaluation; reflection. This research is used for development solutions, in this case concerning Digital Application-Based Learning Service Development solutions. The activities carried out began with a need assessment in the form of an FGD between the Research Team and the MGMP PAI SMK Blitar Regency and the Ministry of Religion of Blitar Regency. The results of this research-based dedication conclude the importance of organizing training and mentoring in the use of online learning technology to meet the needs of PAI SMK teachers throughout Blitar Regency. The materials that enforce training and mentoring include: teleconference applications, learning video applications, and online learning evaluation applications. Then the team conducted a periodic mentoring evaluation process by forming a telegram group, WA group, and google classroom.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Covid-19 pandemic has led to the emergence of various complex problems for educational institutions. The learning process which originally ran face-to-face directly in the classroom, had to be shifted to online or distance learning. Madrasah in the Poncokusumo District are included in schools that implement online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Teachers of the Sunan Ampel Foundation, Poncokusumo District, have difficulty implementing online learning, especially in making digital teaching materials. So far, teachers only use the WhatsApp platform in carrying out learning. The implementation of this service aims to provide empowerment to Sunan Ampel Foundation teachers in developing digital teaching materials. This service is carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. This methods consists of planning, implementation and evaluation analysis as well as activity barriers. This activity was carried out for one month involving 55 teachers from the Sunan Ampel Pomcokusumo Foundation. In general, the training on the preparation of digital teaching materials went well. Training participants gain knowledge about the concept of teaching materials and how to compose digital teaching materials using the Canva application. In general, participants were also highly motivated to compose digital teaching materials. Some of them have succeeded in producing a digital teaching material product. Proses pembelajaran yang semula berjalan secara tatap muka langsung di ruang kelas, terpaksa dialihkan menjadi tatap muka dalam jaringan atau yang disebut dengan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh. Madrasah di wilayah Kecamatan Poncokusumo termasuk ke dalam sekolah yang menerapkan PJJ selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Guru Yayasan Sunan Ampel Kecamatan Poncokusumo mengalami kesulitan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran online, khususnya dalam membuat bahan ajar digital. Selama ini, guru hanya menggunakan platform WhatsApp dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pemberdayaan pada guru yayasan sunan ampel dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar digital. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), terdiri dari perencanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan dan analisis evaluasi serta hambatan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan dengan melibatkan 55 guru yayasan sunan ampel pomcokusumo Secara umum, pelatihan penyusunan bahan ajar digital berjalan dengan baik. Peserta pelatihan mendapatkan ilmu mengenai konsep bahan ajar dan cara menyusun bahan ajar digital dengan menggunakan aplikasi canva.  Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran online, Guru Madrasah, Pelatihan Bahan Ajar Digital

Abstract

Most of the materials in chemical bond are abstract concepts such as ions, ionic radii and orbital. Concepts are considerably difficult to be studied by students who have not had formal thinking ability. This difficulty may be caused error concept, namely the concept of student understanding is different from the agreement by experts. One source of error is the concept of the textbooks used in the learning process. Inproper emplanation or inadequate chemical bonds in the material in the books or high school chemistry teaching materials can lead to errors in sudent. The remedial concept using materials that have been corrected his mistakes and shortcomings plus can reduce errors that occur in students' concept.

Abstract

There has been massive use of digital platforms in the era of Society 5.0. It has happened for at least the last ten years. Various platforms appear in various formats. However, not all of them can be used appropriately in learning. This research aims to describe the profile of elementary school Islamic education teachers in utilizing digital platforms for learning. The research subjects were elementary school Islamic education teachers in various regions. This research method is qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used was a survey with open questionnaires and interviews. The number of respondents in this study was 720. The results of the study show that elementary school teachers are familiar with various existing digital platforms. Instagram, WhatsApp, and YouTube are the 3 digital platforms most frequently accessed by respondents. More than 40% of respondents stated that they had installed these 3 platforms on their gadgets. Google Meet and Zoom Meeting are the platforms frequently used to facilitate online learning (52%). These conditions certainly provide opportunities related to the development of innovative and interesting learning models.

Abstract

Implikasi dari penerapan kurikulum merdeka, mengharuskan madrasah melakukan berbagai macam persiapan yang tidak ringan, salah satunya adalah menyiapkan sumber daya manusia, yang dalam hal ini adalah guru. Guru menjadi komponen kunci dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka. Selain bertugas melaksanakan pembelajaran sebagaimana biasanya, guru dituntut untuk merancang kegiatan kokurikuler yang mendukung terwujudnya Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Malang menginstruksikan semua madrasah untuk mendaftarkan diri sebagai peserta implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Meski demikian, belum ada pendampingan teknis yang intensif kepada guru-guru madrasah. Pengetahuan guru mengenai implementasi kurikulum merdeka berasal dari sosialisasi yang hanya membahas secara umum mengenai implementasi kurikulum merdeka di madrasah. Dengan demikian, secara garis besar kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada guru Yayasan Sunan Ampel Poncokusumo dalam menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian terdiri dari kegiatan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Secara umum, pelatihan penyusunan modul ajar berbasis kurikulum merdeka berjalan dengan baik. Beberapa peserta berhasil mengembangkan produk modul ajar berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Pendampingan berkelanjutan dari Tim Pengabdian ini sangat diperlukan dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan pembelajaran di lingkungan Yayasan Sunan Ampel Poncokusumo.

Abstract

In the contemporary era marked by profound societal shifts influenced by technology, the increasing integration of digital devices into educational settings necessitates a closer examination of educators' proficiency in leveraging these resources. Despite the availability of state-of-the-art learning facilities at SDN Bunulrejo 1 Malang, the limited optimization of digital tools by teachers presents a critical gap. In contrast, students exhibit a proclivity towards enhanced learning experiences facilitated by digital devices. This study endeavors to elucidate the outcomes of research and development pertaining to augmented reality video animation (ARVA) instructional materials, a mobile-based digital teaching resource. Adhering to the Lee and Owen model encompassing assessment/analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases, this research engages 18 fourth-grade students and two expert validators (design and material experts). The design expert validation yielded a commendable score of 109 (72.6%), indicative of adequacy, while material expert validation attained a score of 103 (68.6%), similarly meeting adequacy standards. Subsequently, post-implementation, students' average learning outcomes, with a mean score of 75.27, demonstrated a commendable understanding of materials science concepts, qualifying as "good" and meeting the minimum criteria for completeness. In conclusion, the integration of ARVA into pedagogical practices emerges as a promising avenue, bridging the gap between technological resources and effective learning outcomes, as evidenced by the positive impact on students' comprehension of materials science concepts. This research contributes valuable insights into optimizing digital tools for educational purposes, offering a blueprint for future enhancements in instructional materials.

Abstract

Pemahaman terhadap partikel penyusun benda sangat penting dikuasi karena berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari dan menjadi dasar untuk menguasai materi ditingkat selanjutnya. Kesulitan pengusaaan partikel penyusun benda disebabkan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan animasi 3 dimensi terhadap pemahaman siswa pada materi partikel penyusun benda. Metode eksperimen one group pre-test post-tes digunakan dalam penelitian pada 32 siswa sekolah menengah. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument observasi pembeljaran dan instrument test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa animasi 3 dimensi yang diterapkan memberikan pengaruh signifikan pada pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi partikel penyusun benda. Selain itu motivasi untuk menguasai konsep menjadi lebih tinggi selama prose pembelaran.

Abstract

Kinematics is one of fundamental materials in Basic Science Courses for Islamic Primary Schools Prospective Teacher. Kinematics often difficult for student because it needs schematic drawings and formula for motion. Thus, the kinematics teaching materials absolutely needed for Islamic Primary Schools Prospective Teacher. The current findings suggest that the environment in which Islamic Primary Schools Prospective Teachers learn has not been conducive to their growth and development. These initial observations indicate that certain factors may be hindering their progress. Therefore, digital teaching materials are needed that can facilitate the entire science learning process. The purpose of this research is to explicate the development process, along with the validation and comprehensibility of digital science teaching materials as learning media for prospective elementary school teachers in Islamic education. The Lee and Owens development model was used in the creation of this digital teaching material. The Lee Owens developmental model consist of assessment/analysis, need assessment, front-end analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. A material validation questionnaire, media, and a student readability test were used in the questionnaire with Likert scale. The subject of this research are 24 students of Islamic Primary Schools Prospective Teacher in UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The material aspect of product validation showed an average result of 92.08%, while the media validation aspect scored 90.90%. The readability test for digital science teaching materials obtained a score of 83.2%. These findings suggest that digital science teaching materials are highly valid and suitable for use as learning media for prospective Islamic elementary school teachers. As a result, it is possible to conclude that digital science teaching materials are extremely valid and appropriate for use as learning media for prospective Islamic elementary school teachers.

Abstract

AbstractA suitable environment as a learning resource can improve critical thinking skills. Increasing critical thinking skills will strengthen the concepts mastered or change the concepts if there is an error in understanding. The purpose of this study is to find out the change or shift of concepts through critical thinking of prospective teachers of primary school in ethnoscience-based learning. It is carried out using questionnaires and interviews to see the concept changes experienced by prospective primary school teachers through critical thinking in ethnoscience learning. The survey results and participant interviews show that the concept change in ethnoscience-based learning occurs because of an increase in critical thinking skills. This increase occurs because of relevant problems that critically encourage prospective primary school teachers to provide argumentation and analysis. The real problems that exist around us and are easy to find in everyday life are about the culture or the surrounding environment. A learning environment based on culture or local wisdom is one of the alternatives that can be used in science learning to increase concern for the environment and the surrounding culture.Keywords: ethnoscience, argumentation, critical thinking.Abstrak Lingkungan, budaya, dan kearifan lokal menjadi inspirasi, imajinasi, dan kreativitas dalam belajar. Lingkungan yang cocok sebagai sumber belajar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis akan memperkuat konsep yang dikuasai atau mengubah konsep jika terjadi kesalahan dalam pemahaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perubahan atau pegeseran konsep melalui berpikir kritis dari calon guru madrasah ibtidaiyah/sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran berbasis etnosains. Dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara untuk melihat perubahan konsep yang dialami oleh calon guru madrasah ibtidaiyah/sekolah dasar melalui pemikiran kritis dalam pembelajaran etnosains. Hasil survei dan wawancara partisipan menunjukkan bahwa perubahan konsep pembelajaran berbasis etnosains terjadi karena adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Peningkatan ini terjadi karena adanya permasalahan relevan yang secara kritis mendorong calon guru madrasah ibtidaiyah/sekolah dasar untuk memberikan argumentasi dan analisis. Permasalahan nyata yang ada di sekitar kita dan mudah ditemui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari adalah tentang budaya atau lingkungan sekitar. Lingkungan belajar berbasis budaya atau kearifan lokal merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran sains untuk meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan dan budaya sekitar.Kata kunci: etnosains, argumentasi, berpikir kritis.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the need for digital teaching materials based on microlearning with scaffolding to support Generation Z pre-service elementary school teachers. The research method used was a quantitative descriptive survey, with data collected through an online questionnaire filled out by 216 Generation Z students, pre-service teachers in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Education Study Program (PGMI) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia. The study results indicate that most students have adequate access to digital devices and the internet and a strong preference for the blended learning method. Students also prefer short and interactive video-based teaching materials, which support flexibility in arranging time and place of study. These findings emphasize the importance of developing microlearning teaching materials for the characteristics of the digital native generation. Scaffolding is identified as a supportive approach in compiling microlearning-based teaching materials. Therefore, it can provide gradual guidance that helps students understand the material more deeply. All in all, this study provides insight into developing teaching materials that are adaptive, effective, and in line with learning needs in the digital era.Keywords: microlearning, scaffolding, Gen Z.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan bahan ajar digital berbasis microlearning dengan scaffolding untuk mendukung calon guru SD Generasi Z. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring yang diisi oleh 216 mahasiswa Generasi Z calon guru Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki akses yang memadai terhadap perangkat digital dan internet serta preferensi yang kuat terhadap metode blended learning. Mahasiswa juga lebih menyukai bahan ajar berbasis video yang singkat dan interaktif, yang mendukung fleksibilitas dalam mengatur waktu dan tempat belajar. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan bahan ajar microlearning bagi karakteristik generasi digital native. Scaffolding diidentifikasi sebagai pendekatan yang suportif dalam menyusun bahan ajar berbasis microlearning. Dengan demikian, scaffolding dapat memberikan bimbingan bertahap yang membantu mahasiswa memahami materi lebih dalam. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pengembangan bahan ajar yang adaptif, efektif, dan sejalan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran di era digital.Kata kunci: pembelajaran mikro, scaffolding, Gen Z.
