Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran fungsi manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian (POAC) dalam peningkatan produktivitas dan kepuasan konsumen di industri pengolahan ikan laut Ken Nyo Bi di Tuban. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik survei yang melibatkan 18 responden dari kalangan karyawan dan manajer untuk memperoleh data primer. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara efektivitas fungsi manajemen SDM dan variabel produktivitas serta kepuasan konsumen

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how consumer perceptions, price, and product quality influence purchasing decisions for alum natural spray deodorants, especially for students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Bhayangkara University Surabaya. A total of 84 respondents were sampled in this study, which were selected through purposive sampling technique with the application of the Slovin formula. Data collected through questionnaires filled by respondents using a Likert scale, and supported by literature data. The analysis methods used in this study include research instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that consumer perceptions, price, and product quality have an influence both partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions for alum natural spray deodorants for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Bhayangkara University Surabaya.

Abstract

Program PM-UPUD dengan judul Inovasi Teknologi Pengolahan Dan Pemasaran Produk Olahan Kopi Dan Kedelai Untuk Perluasan Pasar Nasional Dan Global Produk Unggulan Kabupaten Tuban. Desa-Pakel Kecamatan-Montong Kabupaten-Tuban Jawa-Timur mempunyai beberapa IKM/UKM yang selama ini tidak berkembang dengan baik dan membutuhkan bantuan dalam penguatan usahanya. Mitra adalah IKM olahan kedelai berupa produksi tempe pemilik pak Tamaji yang berdiri sejak tahun 2010, beralamat di Desa Pakel Kecamatan Montong Tuban. Penjualan tempenya di pasar- pasar dan penjual gorengan yang sudah menjadi langganannya. Dengan berjalannya waktu semakin bertambah jumlah pesaing yang sama-sama memproduksi tempe. Maka pak Tamaji juga mengupayakan inovasi dengan diversikasi usaha. Mitra:IKM produksi tempe, pemilik pak Tamaji. Permasalahan:1.Produksi: a)Produk tempe tidak tahan lama dan tumbuh jamur tidak merata,b)Banyaknya pesaing yang sejenis yaitu pengrajin tempe. 2)Pemasaran: Mitra belum memiliki legalitas usaha dan legalitas produk berupa PIRT dan merek  3) SDM.a)Usaha dikelola anggota keluarga belum ada pemilahan pekerjaan, b)Komitmen dan etos kerja pegawai rendah. Tujuan:Peningkatan kapasitas usaha dan produksi olahan kedelai sebagai produk unggulan. Solusi:1)Penggunaan pencampuran komposisi bahan pembuatan tempe yang sesuai dan benar, 2) Diversifikasi usaha dengan inovasi bubuk kedelai dengan support TTG mesin penggling kedelai,3)Pengurusan legalitas usaha menjadi UD dan legalitas produk merek dan PIRT,4)Pembentukan struktur organisasi beserta penjelasan tugasnya,5)Motivasi dan manajemen usaha secara rutin serta menciptakan sistem insentif berbasis kualitas dan ketepatan waktu produksi. Pendampingan dari tokoh lokal atau koperasi untuk membangun rasa tanggung jawab kolektif.

Abstract

This study analyzes Dunia Cell Surabaya's marketing strategies using a SWOT framework to assess internal and external factors affecting smartphone sales. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and then analyzed thematically. Results reveal that product diversity, service quality, and employee competence serve as key strengths, while limited digital marketing and high prices are significant weaknesses. Opportunities arise from Indonesia’s stabilizing economy and increasing smartphone adoption, whereas threats include fierce competition and shifting consumer behavior. The SWOT matrix positions Dunia Cell in Quadrant I, indicating a growth-oriented strategy. To sustain competitiveness, the firm should enhance its e-commerce presence, improve pricing strategies, and diversify product offerings. The study contributes to the SME marketing literature by integrating SWOT analysis with insights on digital transformation, offering actionable strategies for retail adaptation in Indonesia’s dynamic smartphone market.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan UKM “ZIZI”, sebuah usaha keluarga di Kabupaten Tuban yang memproduksi kerupuk dan rengginang berbahan dasar ikan laut. Permasalahan utama mitra mencakup ketergantungan proses produksi pada kondisi cuaca, keterbatasan fasilitas penyimpanan bahan baku, rendahnya stabilitas listrik, peralatan produksi yang sudah usang, legalitas usaha yang belum dimiliki, keterbatasan literasi pemasaran digital, serta manajemen sumber daya manusia yang belum optimal. Melalui pendekatan teknologi tepat guna dan pendampingan manajemen, solusi yang ditawarkan meliputi penerapan mesin oven dryer dan freezer, penambahan daya listrik, pembaruan peralatan produksi, pendaftaran merek dagang, peningkatan literasi pemasaran digital, serta pelatihan manajemen tenaga kerja. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada konsistensi kualitas produk, keberlanjutan produksi tanpa hambatan cuaca, efisiensi penyimpanan bahan baku, serta perluasan jangkauan pemasaran. Pendampingan manajemen juga berdampak positif pada peningkatan produktivitas tenaga kerja. Dengan demikian, program ini mampu memperkuat daya saing UKM “ZIZI” sekaligus mendukung pengembangan ekonomi berbasis potensi lokal pesisir Tuban.

Abstract

Traditional batik enterprises in Indonesia face major challenges in sustaining productivity, efficiency, and global competitiveness. One key issue is the manual filtering of batik wax (malam), which often causes clogging and solidification, disrupting production and reducing batik quality. This research introduces an Automatic Anti-Clog Batik Wax Filtering Technology as an innovative solution for revitalizing sustainable batik entrepreneurship, registered under Industrial Design Intellectual Property IDD000075738. The study aims to develop a practical technology that automatically filters batik wax, maintains an ideal temperature, and prevents freezing during the production process. This innovation is expected to improve production efficiency, maintain motif quality, and enhance the resilience of small and micro batik enterprises. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach through applied experimentation, engineering design, and co-creation with local batik artisans. The two-year project includes wax characterization, temperature analysis, prototype design, and field testing with Keyna Gallery, a natural dye batik producer in Jombang. The outcomes include a simple patent, a functional prototype, and international journal publications. With a targeted Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 7–9, this innovation supports SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), promoting a sustainable, efficient, and globally competitive batik industry.

Abstract

Electoral oversight plays a crucial role in safeguarding electoral integrity and strengthening democratic legitimacy, particularly in emerging democracies where public trust in electoral institutions remains a central challenge. This study aims to examine how electoral oversight management influences public perception through the mediating role of public trust in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections in Ngawi Regency, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative explanatory research design, the study analyzed the effects of four dimensions of electoral oversight management—planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation—on public trust and public perception. Data were collected from 400 registered voters selected through proportional stratified random sampling and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that electoral oversight organizing has a direct and significant effect on public perception, while planning, implementation, and evaluation do not exert significant direct effects. However, organizing, implementation, and evaluation significantly influence public trust, whereas planning does not. Public trust is found to have a positive and significant effect on public perception and serves as a mediating variable in the relationships between organizing, implementation, and evaluation of oversight and public perception. Conversely, public trust does not mediate the relationship between oversight planning and public perception. These results indicate that public perception of electoral oversight is shaped primarily by oversight practices that are visible, organized, accountable, and directly experienced by the public, with public trust functioning as the key mechanism linking oversight performance to societal evaluations. The study contributes to the literature on electoral governance by highlighting the strategic role of public trust in translating managerial performance into positive public perception at the local level.

Abstract

This study evaluates the consumer-based competitive priorities of Via Tuban shrimp paste (terasi) by analyzing the gap between perceived importance and performance of key product attributes using Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA). Drawing on the resource-based view and consumer value theory, the research assesses seven attributes; quality, packaging, price, distribution, brand image, food safety, and promotion & innovation through a structured 5-point Likert survey administered to 65 purposively selected consumers. Findings reveal a significant shortfall in performance relative to expectations, with a grand mean importance of 4.26 and performance of 2.63. All attributes show negative gaps; "quality" has the largest gap (−1.81) and falls into Quadrant I (high importance–low performance), marking it as the top priority for improvement. "Packaging," "distribution," and "food safety" fall into Quadrant II (high importance–high performance), indicating existing strengths. In contrast, "price" and "promotion & innovation" are lower priorities, while "brand image" suggests possible overemphasis. The study provides a clear, evidence-based roadmap for capability upgrading in traditional fermented seafood MSMEs and contributes to the strategic management of local food products by linking customer perception to actionable operational improvements. Limitations include a localized sample and reliance on self-reported data, suggesting opportunities for future research expansion.

Abstract

Purpose: Influence of communication climate and job promotion on employee performance and motivation with discipline and job satisfaction as intervening at PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia. Tbk in Gedangan Sidoarjo. The aim of this study is to test and analyze the influence of communication and promotion on employee motivation and performance with discipline and job satisfaction as variabels intervening at PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia. Tbk in Gedangan Sidoarjo Research methodology: The samples of this study are 74 respondents consisting of employees permanent of the division warehouse and production. This research applies path analysis by using the program of analysis Smart PLS. Results: The relationship between variables in this study produced thirteen hypotheses with significant influence and five hypotheses with not significant influence. Relation testing between organizational job promotion and motivation variabels has the biggest significance. Meanwhile, the relation testing between communication climate variabels and employee performance variabels has the smallest significance. Limitation: The limitation in this research is one company where the number of samples taken is only permanent employees of the warehouse and production only. Contribution: Results of this study are expected to be able to give contribution to human resources management and to practical management.
