Abstract

In the era of information technology, data management has become crucial for organizations. The Public Appraisal Office (KJPP) XYZ in Palembang City, despite providing accurate property analysis, is still limited to the use of hard disks, hard copies, email, and Excel. This results in a lack of integration and efficiency in their operations. Therefore, this research proposes a solution in the form of designing a data warehouse prototype using the Nine-Step Kimball method. This method is employed as a systematic approach in designing and building a data warehouse, with the aim of ensuring effective and relevant development for business needs. The design will organize data into table components, creating regularity and centralization of data to facilitate search and analysis. The inspiration for this research comes from similar implementations in online market transactions and television editorial decisions using the snowflake schema and the successful Nine-Step Kimball method. It is hoped that through this approach, KJPP XYZ can optimize access, analysis, and use of the data.

Abstract

CV Aneka Artha Niaga is a developing company which operates in the field of kassemergud vesmuving distributor. Distributor means an actor who distributes finished products from factory production in the form of packaged snacks and drinks to shops that have registered as customers. As a business that operates in the distribution sector, stock management is an important factor in the success of selling the products they offer. From availability to distribution to customers. The large amount of data that is managed makes it difficult for CV Aneka Artha Niaga to process data analysis and make decisions. This research aims to overcome existing problems at CV Aneka Artha Niaga by implementing a data warehouse with the ITL (Extract, Transform, Load) process. The method used is Kimball's nine steps. Data was collected through field observations, interviews, and the company's ERP system. The result of this research is the implementation of a data warehouse which can be the answer to the problems and information that CV Aneka Artha Niaga needs.

Abstract

Game online kini telah menjadi salah satu bentuk hiburan paling diminati di seluruh dunia. Teamfight Tactics (TFT) mencuat sebagai salah satu game online yang sedang populer saat ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi sentimen ulasan pemain TFT di Playstore dengan maksud meningkatkan mutu permainan. Metode klasifikasi Random Forest diterapkan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengategorikan ulasan sebagai negatif, netral, atau positif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode Random Forest mampu memberikan hasil yang akurat dalam menilai sentimen ulasan pemain TFT. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai sentimen pemain serta wawasan berharga bagi pengembang untuk meningkatkan kualitas game TFT..

Abstract

The implementation of data warehouse technology at the Catholic Church XYZ, covering multiple regions, has become a common necessity. The use of a data warehouse aims to manage parishioner data more efficiently through a structured data warehouse system. The organized data integration process is the main focus, enabling church administrators to process data quickly and accurately in accessing the required information. By emphasizing the modeling process, the use of the Star Schema as a dimensional model provides ease in understanding data structures, serving as a key source of information for decision-making, especially regarding territorial allocations. This data warehouse design serves as a comprehensive solution for managing integrated parishioner data, supporting various information needs and decision-making processes. In addition to streamlining processes, the implementation of the data warehouse enhances the church's capabilities in addressing the increasingly complex dynamics of the environment.

Abstract

This study develops a strategic plan for Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT) at PT XYZ, a distribution company in the plastic packaging sector. The primary objective of the research is to enhance operational efficiency and expand market reach through the optimal utilization of information technology. The methodology employed includes SWOT analysis, PESTLE, and the McFarlan Grid to evaluate the company's internal and external conditions and define the IS/IT implementation strategy. The findings highlight the need for additional features in the Enterprise Business System (EBS) to record retail transactions, the implementation of an e-commerce platform to broaden market access, and the adoption of automation technology in logistics processes to boost productivity. Moreover, the study recommends developing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to strengthen relationships with business partners. A systematically designed five-year implementation roadmap ensures that this strategy supports the company's digital transformation and enhances its performance in the global market.

Abstract

In the digital era, product reviews on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon have become an important source of information for consumers and sellers. This study develops a system for sentiment analysis of reviews using the Random Forest algorithm and relevant information retrieval with a TF-IDF-based probabilistic model. The data used includes 568,454 product reviews from Amazon, which are processed through data cleaning, tokenization, lemmatization, and feature extraction stages. Sentiments are classified into positive, negative, and neutral. The Random Forest model shows reliable performance with precision, recall, and F1-score of 0.878. The probabilistic search system successfully sorts relevant reviews with a high level of accuracy, which is evaluated using the Mean Average Precision (MAP) metric of 0.878. The results of this study provide significant contributions to improving the e-commerce user experience and supporting data-driven decision making. The approach used opens up opportunities for further research in the fields of natural language processing and machine learning.

Abstract

Online review platforms, such as restaurant search websites and apps, have become a primary source of information for consumers when choosing restaurants. The large number of reviews available provides insights into service quality, food taste, and previous customer experiences. However, the main challenge is managing and extracting relevant information from the diverse and unstructured reviews, which can make it difficult for users to find accurate and relevant information. This study implements an information retrieval system for Indian restaurant reviews using the Vector Space Model (VSM) algorithm to address this challenge. The dataset from Kaggle, containing 10,000 Indian restaurant reviews, was processed through tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, and text normalization. The TF-IDF method was applied for term weighting, and relevance between the user's query and reviews was calculated using VSM. The evaluation results showed a precision of 70.92%, recall of 84.81%, and F1-score of 77.25%, indicating that the system can provide relevant reviews accurately and efficiently. This system could serve as a reference for developing information retrieval systems in the culinary field and other sectors that require effective customer review analysis.

Abstract

The retail industry faces significant challenges in managing massive transaction data volumes. Reliance on operational systems (OLTP) often hinders complex historical data analysis. This study aims to design and implement a Data Warehouse using the Star Schema approach to support efficient retail sales analysis. Utilizing the Sample Superstore dataset, the development follows Kimball’s methodology with technical ETL implementation on PostgreSQL. The research produced a Star Schema architecture consisting of one fact table and five dimension tables. Validation testing confirmed complete data integrity during migration. The results demonstrate the system's capability to present rapid multidimensional insights, including positive annual sales trends and profitability disparities across product categories. This implementation proves that PostgreSQL effectively serves as a robust infrastructure for business intelligence, providing a solid foundation for strategic management decision-making.

Abstract

PT. XYZ operates in the food distribution sector and handles a large number of inbound and outbound goods transactions each day. The high transaction volume creates challengess in managing inventory effectively, highlighting the need for an integrated data management solution. This research aims to develop a data warehouse for PT. XYZ by applying the Kimball Nine-Step methodology. Data were collected through interviews, field observations, and a review of relevant literature. The data warehouse design process includes identifying fact tables and dimension tables related to receiving and shipping activities, followed by the implementation of the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process using SQL Server Management Studio 19. The findings indicate that the proposed data warehouse is capable of integrating operational data and presenting inventory information through reports generated using Microsoft Excel. The system supports improved stock control and enables management to make faster and more accurate decisions.

Abstract

The current library environment is experiencing rapid data collection, particulary from the daily activity of borrowing and returning books. This vast amount of data could potentially be utilized for analysis, but in practice, library information systems are often used solely for operational purposes. Consequently, opportunities to extract valuable insights from this data are limited. Given the situation, this study attempts to design and implement a data warehouse focused on analyzing book borrowing and returning patterns, utilizing PostgreSQL as the primary platform. The research process involved several stages, starting with data collection, needs analysis, data warehouse model design using the star schema, and implementation into PostgreSQL. Afterward, an ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) process was performed to able to combine library transaction data into a more structured and ready for analysis. From this data, the system was able to generate various insights, such as patterns of books that were borrowed most, medim, and least.
