Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and consumer trust on customer satisfaction in Sungai Bawang Cultural Village, Muara Badak District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The approach used is quantitative with correlational design and multiple linear regression analysis. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 83 respondents. The results of the analysis show that 58.1% of the variation in consumer satisfaction can be explained by both independent variables. The F test shows that the quality of service and consumer trust simultaneously have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. The t-test revealed that each independent variable also had a partially significant effect. These findings indicate that improving service quality and consumer trust can increase tourist satisfaction, thereby contributing to the sustainability of Sungai Bawang Cultural Village as a tourism destination. Abstract

Currently, organizations recognize the increasing importance of human resources as the primary asset for sustaining the organization. Organizational Citizenship Behavior, which refers to voluntary employee behaviors that exceed their duties, such as helping colleagues, has become the focus of research because it can enhance organizational productivity. On the other hand, Quality of Work Life encompasses aspects such as job satisfaction, balance between personal and professional life, safe working conditions, and opportunities for self-development, all of which contribute to employee well-being. This study aims to examine the relationship between quality of work life and Organizational Citizenship Behavior among employees of Disnaker Demak. The method used is quantitative research with 50 participants, utilizing the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale and Quality of Work Life Scale (QWOL), then analyzed using SPSS version 25, resulting in a significant relationship between the variables Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Quality of Work Life with an r value of 0.696 and p < 0.05. The research results indicate a significant positive relationship between the variables Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Quality of Work Life; the higher the level of OCB among employees, the higher their QWL, and conversely, the lower the level of OCB, the lower the QWL

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires companies to adapt; however, it also poses challenges to the psychological well-being of employees. This study analyses the relationship between toxic leadership and the psychological well-being of millennial employees at Company X, a manufacturing entity. Using a quantitative approach and correlation methods, data were collected from 331 employees via a questionnaire. This study employs the Theory of Toxic Leadership (Schmidt, 2008) and Ryff's Psychological Well-being Model (2008). The findings reveal a significant negative correlation (r = -0.488, p < 0.01), indicating that higher levels of toxic leadership are associated with lower levels of employee psychological well-being. These results emphasise the urgency for organisations to implement leadership training programs to reduce poisonous behaviour and promote employee mental health. This study is expected to contribute to the literature on industrial and organisational psychology and serve as a foundation for further research. Keywords: toxic leadership, psychological well-being, millennial employees, industrial psychology, organisation

Abstract

Abstract

At its core, work engagement signifies a state in which employees exhibit their utmost performance driven by a genuine enjoyment of their tasks. Concurrently, psychological capital denotes an individual's psychological state characterized by a positive self-perception, facilitating optimal functioning. The focal point of this research lies in unraveling the interplay between psychological capital and work engagement within the workforce of PT. BMU Balikpapan. The study incorporates a quantitative approach with a sample size comprising 35 male and female employees. Employing two scales—psychological capital and work engagement—the research yields noteworthy results. The data analysis, with a significance value of 0.000 (P<0.05), unequivocally asserts a substantial positive correlation between psychological capital and work engagement among employees at PT. BMU Balikpapan. In essence, this implies that individuals possessing a heightened psychological capital are more likely to exhibit elevated levels of work engagement. The contribution of this relationship's efficacy is quantified at 8.7%, emphasizing the considerable impact of psychological well-being on the overall engagement of the workforce. These findings carry implications for organizational strategies aimed at optimizing employee performance and satisfaction. Recognizing the pivotal role of psychological capital in fostering work engagement, PT. BMU Balikpapan and similar entities are encouraged to integrate initiatives that nurture positive self-perceptions among employees, ultimately contributing to a more productive and fulfilling work environment.

Abstract

Recent graduates face significant challenges during the transition to the workforce, which requires a strong adversity quotient (AQ). The purpose of the study is to evaluate social support and self-efficacy as determinants of recent graduates in Toraja, South Sulawesi. This study employed a quantitative correlational research design. The population consisted of fresh graduates residing in Toraja, with a total sample of 196 participants. Data were collected using the Adversity Quotient Scale, the General Self-Efficacy Scale, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to test the simultaneous predictive effects of self-efficacy and social support on adversity quotient. The findings revealed that self-efficacy and social support simultaneously and significantly predicted the adversity quotient of fresh graduates. Both variables showed positive contributions, indicating that higher levels of self-efficacy and perceived social support were associated with higher levels of adversity quotient. These results underscore the combined importance of internal belief systems and external support networks in enhancing resilience among fresh graduates. The study provides empirical evidence from a specific regional context and highlights the need for interventions that strengthen both personal competence and social support systems during the transition to the workforce.
