Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: This study aims to analyze the influence of coaching, mentoring, and counseling methods on employee job satisfaction. Purpose : Job satisfaction is a key factor in human resource management that directly impacts employee productivity and retention. Employee development methods such as coaching, mentoring, and counseling play a crucial role in enhancing job satisfaction by fostering both professional growth and personal well-being. Design/methods/approach: The research method used is a literature review of e-journals published in the last five years. Findings : Based on a literature review of various studies, this research demonstrates that coaching, mentoring, and counseling have a positive impact on job satisfaction. The findings reveal that these methods not only provide better career guidance but also increase employee engagement within the organization. Full support from organizations and leaders is essential to ensure the effectiveness of these programs and to deliver optimal outcomes for employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosio- emosional pada anak usia dini melalui program PATHS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat kuasi-eksperimental dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest, Sebanyak 39 partisipan (17 laki- laki dan 22 perempuan) berusia 4 hingga 6 tahun dari Sekolah Rakyat Bekasi terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Penilaian dilakukan menggunakan Test of Emotional Comprehension (TEC) dan Social Competence Measures – Teacher Rating Scale (SCM-TRS), dengan pengukuran dilakukan sebelum pelatihan (pre-test), setelah pelatihan (post-test), dan follow-up setelah 6 bulan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada skor TEC dan SCM-TRS setelah dilakukannya intervensi. Skor Follow-up test memperlihatkan hasil yang persisten setidaknya selama 6 bulan setelah dilakukannya intervensi.

Abstract

Entrepreneurs in the digital era face constant challenges that require adaptation and innovation. Although economic and managerial factors are often the focus, the role of psychological dimensions such as resilience and creativity in entrepreneurial success has not been widely reviewed in depth. This study aims to examine relevant theories and findings on psychological resilience and creativity in the context of entrepreneurship, and to build a conceptual framework to support entrepreneurial innovation. Using a qualitative literature study method, this study systematically searches, analyzes, and synthesizes scientific literature from various databases. The results of the synthesis indicate that psychological resilience is crucial for entrepreneurs to recover from failure and adapt to change. Characteristics such as optimism and emotional regulation are the pillars of mental resilience. Meanwhile, creativity is an innovation engine that facilitates the identification of new opportunities and the development of unique solutions. A synergistic relationship between resilience and creativity is also found: resilience provides a psychological buffer for taking creative risks, and the creative process can strengthen self-resilience. The theoretical implication is the need for a more holistic entrepreneurship model. In practice, this study recommends educational institutions, especially the Faculty of Psychology, to integrate the development of resilience and creativity into the entrepreneurship curriculum.

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: There is a phenomenon of individuals who feel afraid that they will be left behind if they do not use social media regularly, both during their activities and in their free time. On the other hand, those who feel satisfied when using social media and getting the information they want. Selfregulation is a person's ability. Purpose: This research aims to determine the relationship between selfregulation and fear of missing out among adolescent social media users in RW.05, Penggilingan Village, Jakarta. Design/methods/approach: This research method uses quantitative methods with a sample of 179 teenagers aged 12-18 years who actively use social media and the data is analyzed using the correctional product moment method from Person. Findings: The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between self-regulation and fear of missing out with a correlation value of 0.326 and a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). This research succeeded in finding that there is a significant relationship between self-regulation and fear of missing out among adolescent social media users in RW.05, Penggilingan Village, Jakarta. The direction of the relationship obtained between these two variables is positive. A positive relationship means that if self-regulation is high, it will be followed by a high fear of missing out, and vice versa, the lower the self-regulation, the lower the fear of missing out. Research implications/limitations: none Originality/value: none.

Abstract

College students face various academic, social, and adult transition pressures that can affect their psychological condition. Emotional regulation is a crucial skill to balance affective responses to stress. This service aims to improve the ability of student participants to regulate emotions to improve their psychological well-being. This activity began with observation to select participants who fit our research criteria, continued with the preparation of an easy-to-understand training module, and ended with socialization and training for student participants. The training was held on June 4, 2025 at the Bhayangkara University Campus, Jakarta Raya Room 403, Bekasi, West Java. The training evaluation showed an increase in participants' understanding in regulating their psychological well-being emotions. The positive impact of this program is that emotional regulation training helps create a more stable and healthy mental condition, which has a direct impact on improving the quality of life and learning achievement of students.

Abstract

The "Great Kids, Great Time Managers" training module is designed to instill essential understanding and skills in time management, responsibility, and independence in elementary school-aged children. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of this training module in enhancing these three aspects in children. The method employed is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, involving observation and interviews during the training implementation. The training results showed an increase in children's awareness and ability to manage time, complete tasks responsibly, and perform daily activities independently. This training contributes to the development of positive and adaptive children's character in the modern era.

Abstract

The training program, “Recognize Your Thoughts, Manage Your Emotions: Practical Psychology for a Lighter Life,” is designed to help students recognize negative thought patterns and manage their emotions in a healthier way amid academic pressures. The training was held at Bhayangkara University Jakarta Raya, involving 30 students from various majors. The training material covers four main components: cognitive distortions, self-talk, emotion regulation, and emotion validation, delivered through an experiential learning approach in the form of discussions, breathing exercises, journaling, role-playing, and reflection. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests with paired sample t-test analysis. The results showed a statistically significant increase (t(29) = -5.213, p < .001) with a large effect size (Cohen’s d = -0.952), indicating that the training had a strong impact on enhancing participants’ psychological awareness and skills. Despite challenges such as participant tardiness and training time not fully aligning with the schedule, the training proceeded in accordance with learning objectives. Activity documentation was conducted in the form of photos and videos. In conclusion, this training is effective as a promotional and preventive measure for student mental health and can be replicated on a larger scale in higher education settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membantu anak-anak kembali bersekolah sejak terjadinya Covid-19. Covid-19 menyebabkan banyak perubahan bagi suatu individu khususnya anak-anak yang masih bersekolah, mereka harus mengalami perubahan metode belajar yang tadinya dilakukan secara tatap muka menjadi online atau dirumahkan. Hal ini membuat mereka akhirnya kekurangan kegiatan belajar sehari-harinya. Kegiatan ini tentunya memberikan pembelajaran tambahan bagi anak-anak tersebut dan dapat mengasah soft skill mereka, setelah latihan pembelajaran diberikan menunjukkan bahwa intervensi keterampilan sosial mampu meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif dan cenderung menggunakan analisis mendalam. Hasil dari penelitian bahwa semua program pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh Sekolah Rakyat Bekasi cukup berhasil untuk membantu adik-adik yang ingin mendapatkan pembelajaran tambahan selain dari sekolahnya yang di mana kegiatan tersebut mampu mengasah soft skill mereka lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kegiatan intervensi, perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan, pembelajaran agama yang diberikan pada anak-anak dan kegiatan lain di luar pembelajaran agama pada Rumah Yatim Piatu dan Dhuafa An-Nuur. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif serta wawancara ke tempat langsung. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari pengurus, pengasuh Rumah Yatim Piatu dan Dhuafa An-Nuur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat intervensi yang dilakukan pemilik Rumah Yatim Piatu dan Dhuafa An-Nuur, terdapat kegiatan keagamaan yang diajarkan kepada anak-anak, terdapat kegiatan di luar keagamaan yang dilakukan disaat tertentu. Dengan hal ini program dapat diukur dari kemajuan anak-anak dalam membaca Al-Qur’an dan menghafal ayat-ayat, sehingga menciptakan dampak positif dalam perkembangan holistik mereka.

Abstract

Permasalahan dari segi sosial, budaya, politik, ekonomi, pendidikan dan kesehatan membutuhkan intervensi sosial sebagai upaya solusinya. Pemberdayaan adalah sebuah proses dengan mana orang menjadi cukup kuat untuk berpartisipasi dalam, berbagi pengontrolan atas, dan mempengaruhi terhadap, kejadian-kejadian serta lembaga-lembaga yang mempengaruhi kehidupannya. Pemberdayaan menekankan bahwa orang memperoleh keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan kekuasaan yang cukup untuk mempengaruhi kehidupannya dan kehidupan orang lain yang menjadi perhatiannya. Pemberdayaan artinya adalah penyediaan sumber daya, kesempatan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mereka sehingga mereka bisa menemukan masa depan mereka berpartisipasi serta mempengaruhi kehidupan bermasyarakat. Adapun pengamen jalanan merupakan sekumpulan orang dewasa, remaja atau anak yang menghabiskan masa hidupnya dengan menghibur para pengendara atau siapun yang berada di jalan guna memenuhi kebutuhan ekonominya. Kegiatan ini ditujukan untuk mengorganisir, menumbuhkan keterampilan, pembinaan dan pendampingan kepada kelompok pengamen dalam berwirausaha. Kegiatan inteversi sosial dilaksanakan pada 14-17 Oktober 2023 pada kelompok pengamen jalanan di sekitar Grand Galaxy Kota Bekasi melalui tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan program dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap kelompok pengamen jalanan karena mampu meningkatkan keterampilan, kemandirian, kreatifitas, dan inovatifnya.
