Abstract

The implementation of this community service aims to improve the ability of students with disabilities to prepare digital-based business plans and marketing. This service method uses training, which consists of the introduction activity stage of market research and identification of business opportunities, the action stage for implementing the business plan and the evaluation stage. The evaluation instrument for this activity uses a questionnaire and is analyzed descriptively. The results of this community service show: 1) the entrepreneurial abilities of students with disabilities have increased; 2) the knowledge of students with disabilities regarding digital business opportunities increases; 3) the knowledge of disabled students regarding business planning using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) increases; and 4) knowledge of students with disabilities regarding digital promotion and marketing methods increases so that they are able to market products through social media and market places.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to investigate the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of Statistics textbooks in Economic Education based on problem-based learning. Method: This research used a development research model. Model development in teaching materials contextual-based and problem-solving used model 4-P is adapted from the development model of the 4-D by Thiagarajan. Results: Recently, we revealed a novel acquisition of statistics textbooks at a very feasible level. A very practical level of practicality was obtained by the perception of 87% of students and 80% of lecturers, and then the effectiveness of the category is very effective with 80% classical completeness. Novelty: Therefore, this statistics textbook for economics education attempts to integrate a project-based learning model, from pre-research to publication, to provide students with a comprehensive research experience. This is based on validation results from various aspects, including material coverage, updates, and productivity insights. Based on the material coverage, there is a good match between the available core competencies and students' needs for the material.

Abstract

Many students see that cheating during an exam is the most effective way to improve academic grades. Many of them do that because they think teaching the lecturer is less credible. This study aims to determine whether the credibility of lecturers and student dishonesty can affect the level of economic literacy of students. The number of respondents in this study amounted to 77 students and analyzed using a quantitative approach. The results showed that the higher the credibility of lecturers, the lower the academic cheating. The more credible the lecturer, the higher the economic literacy of students. However, it turns out that student academic cheating does not determine the level of economic literacy of students. The exciting thing from the results of this study is that the ability of lecturers to answer questions turns out to determine students' perceptions about the credibility of their lecturers. Still, when students call lecturers more credible, it makes students commit fraud.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate various aspects that affect the decision of SMAN 1 Gresik students in choosing economics subjects within the framework of the Independent Curriculum. Referring to the Social Cognitive Career theory, this study evaluates the influence of interests, motivation, family, teachers, peers, and technology on students' academic decision-making. The approach used is a quantitative method with the distribution of questionnaires to 125 students in grades XI and XII who have chosen economics subjects. The variables analyzed included internal factors such as interest and motivation, as well as external factors such as family support, teacher roles, peer influence, and technology. The results of the study show that overall, all of these variables have a significant effect on students' decisions in choosing economics subjects. Individually, interests, family support, teacher roles, peer influence, and technology have also been shown to have a significant influence. Based on these results, the research is expected to provide guidance for the development of more effective curriculum and teaching strategies, as well as encourage the optimization of the role of technology and social support in helping students choose subjects that suit their interests and potential. This research makes an important contribution to the development of education at the school level, especially in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze local wisdom values in each region in Indonesia that can be involved in education at Vocational High Schools, in order to increase the competitiveness of vocational high school graduates as human capital.Methodology – The research method employed in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on productive subject teachers in vocational high schools of East Java Province. The collection of research data employed an interview method, utilizing an interview guide instrument, and was conducted through focus group discussions based on the spectrum of vocational expertise. FGD involved three productive subject teachers, the principal, and stakeholders, totaling N = 176. The data analysis in the study employed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman.Findings – Diploma ranks highest as the minimum education standard required by various job vacancies, at 52.8%, followed by Vocational High School at 30%. The requirement for a Bachelor's degree is 8.5%, then High School at 7.5%, and finally, the minimum requirement for postgraduate studies is 1.4%. The less-than-optimal absorption of Vocational High School graduates into the job market, based on existing vacancies, indicates that the industrial world is not yet fully convinced of the value of Vocational High School graduates for several fields of expertise.Contribution – This study contributes to identifying human capital development strategies, summarized based on local wisdom practices, by implementing key features such as developing global skills, described in basic skills, continuous learning and improvement, knowledge creation and sharing, systematic change, fostering a learning culture, encouraging experimentation, and appreciating students.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to increase the result of economic learning of students in class XI IPS 2 at SMAN 1 Ngoro by the application of the Problem Based Learning model. The research subjects were students of class XI IPS 2 at SMAN 1 Ngoro. This research was conducted in two cycles. Before the activities of cycles I and II, pre-action learning was carried out. Research cycles I and II were both carried out in two meetings. Data collection using student worksheets, observation sheets and tests. Based on the results of data analysis, the result of learning of economic students on APBN and APBD materials showed that there was an increase of 5.56% from cycle I to cycle II. So it can be concluded that the result of economic learning of class XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Ngoro by the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model have increased.

Abstract

Economics learning aims to equip students with knowledge. With this goal, students are expected to be able to better understand each material taught as one of the provisions in their lives. However, in reality there are many students who have difficulty understanding the material taught in class, especially on APBN and APBD material. This is due to the lack of enthusiasm of students in teaching and learning activities. The lack of use of good learning methods also makes the classroom atmosphere monotonous and boring so that, it is revealed that the learning that has been taking place so far students are sleepy by putting their heads on the table, joking with their friends, and when the evaluation is carried out using paper tests students copy their friends' answers. So through this action research, researchers want to improve students' learning outcomes in economics learning, especially on APBN and APBD material by implementing the Quizziz application. The research subjects were class XI MIPA 3 students at SMAN 1 Ngoro, Ngoro sub-district, Mojokerto district for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 36 students. From the results of the learning activities that have been carried out for two cycles, and based on all the discussions and analyzes that have been carried out, it can be concluded as follows: Economic learning on APBN and APBD material with the application of the Quizizz application has a positive impact on student learning outcomes in class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 1 Ngoro, Ngoro sub-district, Mojokerto district for the 2022/2023 academic year. This is based on the post test scores which continue to increase from the first to the second cycle. This is evidenced by the increasing number of students who achieved KKM, the first cycle was 76.5% and the second cycle was 93%, an increase of 16.5%. This success was obtained by implementing the Quizizz application. By giving multiple choice questions to students through the Quizizz application, the questions will appear randomly on each student's screen so that the evaluation carried out can be purely according to the ability of the students

Abstract

Lingkungan keluarga menjadi tempat pertama anak-anak memperoleh pengetahuan, sehingga pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai ilmu ekonomi yang terkait wirausaha, perlu dilakukan sejak anak tumbuh di lingkungan keluarga. Peran orang tua dalam menanamkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan mengarahkan anak untuk berwirausaha dapat mempengaruhi anak dalam hal pemilihan karir di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan dan menyajikan pemahaman lebih mendalam pada hubungan antara lingkungan keluarga dan minat berwirausaha melalui studi literatur pada penelitian yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2018-2022 atau menggunakan metode penelitian SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Berdasarkah hasil review dapat disimpulkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa.

Abstract

Students who have doubts about becoming an entrepreneur are the basis for this research. This research is also based on other research that many students who have received entrepreneurship education at university level but still feel hesitant about becoming an entrepreneur. Therefore, this research is considered important to carry out to strengthen this argument, so a literature review is considered appropriate. The literature review conducted was to determine that entrepreneurial intention can be influenced by entrepreneurial education factors and subjective norms implemented through the research method, namely SLR or Systematic Literature Review. Based on the study conducted, it shows that entrepreneurial intention is significantly influenced by entrepreneurial education and subjective norms. The results of the literature review also found that entrepreneurial education and subjective norms have an impact on entrepreneurial intention, so that entrepreneurial education and subjective norms can be implemented as a strategy to increase individual entrepreneurial intention. Thus, it is very crucial for the government and educational institutions to encourage increased entrepreneurship education so that individual entrepreneurial intention increases.

Abstract

The profession of economics teachers plays a strategic role in shaping students’ critical and analytical thinking skills; however, students’ interest in pursuing this profession remains fluctuating. Internal factors such as self-efficacy and teaching readiness are presumed to influence students’ decisions in choosing a career as teachers. This study aims to examine the extent to which self-efficacy and teaching readiness affect the interest of Economics Education students in pursuing a career as economics teachers at Universitas Negeri Surabaya, class of 2022. The research employed a quantitative method with a causal design. The population consisted of 89 students, with a sample of 73 determined using Slovin’s formula at a 5% margin of error. Data collection instruments were questionnaires with a Likert scale, tested for validity and reliability. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS as the analytical tool. The findings revealed that self-efficacy and teaching readiness simultaneously have a significant effect on the interest in becoming a teacher (F = 6.490; sig. 0.003), contributing 15.6%. However, partially, self-efficacy (sig. 0.951) and teaching readiness (sig. 0.125) did not show a significant effect on the tendency to become an economics teacher. These results emphasize the need for integrated development of self-efficacy and teaching readiness to enhance students’ interest in pursuing the profession of economics teachers. ABSTRAKProfesi guru ekonomi memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk keterampilan berpikir kritis dan analitis siswa, namun minat mahasiswa untuk menekuni profesi ini masih fluktuatif. Faktor internal seperti efikasi diri dan kesiapan mengajar diduga memengaruhi keputusan mahasiswa dalam memilih karier sebagai guru. Studi ini dimaksudkan untuk menguji sejauh mana efikasi diri memberikan pengaruh terhadap dan kesiapan mengajar terhadap ketertarikan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi bertujuan tujuan menekuni profesi guru ekonomi. Universitas Negeri Surabaya angkatan 2022. Penelitian dengan menerapkan metode kuantitatif melalui rancangan kausal. Keseluruhan responden yang menjadi objek kajian berjumlah 89 mahasiswa, dengan sampel 73 orang yang diperoleh berdasarkan berdasarkan pendekatan Slovin pada taraf kesalahan 5%. instrumen Metode memperoleh data digunakan pada penelitian ini berbentuk Kuesioner menggunakan skala pengukuran Likert, Menggunakan kualitas butir soal yang telah diverifikasi melalui Pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas, kemudian data yang dipakai pada penelitian ini diolah melalui pendekatan regresi linier berganda diterapkan menggunakan SPSS sebagai alat perangkat bantu. Berdasarkan temuan analisis, diketahui jika menunjukkan efikasi diri simultan dan kesiapan mengajar menunjukkan adanya dampak yang signifikan pada minat untuk menjadi guru (F = 6,490; sig. 0,003) dengan kontribusi 15,6%. Namun secara parsial, efikasi diri (sig. 0,951) dan kesiapan mengajar (sig. 0,125) tidak menunjukkan dampak signifikan terhadap kecenderungan menjadi guru ekonomi. Hasil analisis ini menegaskan menunjukkan adanya pengembangan efikasi diri dan kesiapan mengajar perlu dilakukan secara terpadu agar dapat meningkatkan minat mahasiswa dalam hal menekuni profesi guru ekonomi.
