Abstract

SMP Swasta Pembangunan berada di Kecamatan Patumbak Kabupaten Deli Serdang. SMP Swasta Pembanguna merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang berstatus kepemilikan swasta. SMP Swasta Pembangunan memiliki jumlah guru sebanyak 12 orang dan sudah menerapkan Microsoft Power Point. Namun, pada penerapannya para guru belum secara maksimal dalam mengoperasikannya terutama permasalahan yang dihadapi guru-guru yang ada di sekolah SMP Swasta Pembangunan adalah masih minimnya pengetahuan mengenai Microsoft power point sebagai aplikasi yang dapat dipergunakan untuk membuat video pembelajaran. Tujuan dilaksanakannya pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalan untuk mensosialisasikan Microsoft Power Point sebagai aplikasi yang dapat dengan mudah membuat video pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan ini guru-guru yang ada di SMP Swasta Pembangunan adalah sebagai peserta dalam kegiatan PkM. Prosedur kegiatan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meliputi perizinan, persiapan, pelaksanaan, refleksi dan evaluasi. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam mengukur tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah angket pemahaman peserta. Berdasarkan hasil analisis persentase tingkat pemahamn peserta 85,80% dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

This study aims determine results of tests of conceptual understanding and communicatio skills with the TTW learning strategy conducted in class VIII of MTs Al Ikhlas Beringin Private. In this study, researcher used a qualitative descriptive type of research. In this study, data was collected by administering tests, by distributing test tests in the form of essay questions on cubes and blocks to 30 students in class 8-B of Al Ikhlas Beringin Private MTs in even semester of the school year. 2022/2023. After that, the results of each student's answer were classified for each indicator in understanding the concept and mathematical communication ability to be achieved as well as being used as a sample consisting of 6 students from the concept understanding test and 6 students from the student's mathematical communication ability test. The assessment is carried out by means of reduction, presentation of data and drawing conclusions. From the results of the analysis obtained, it can be concluded that the TTW learning strategy is carried out in class 8 MTs Al Ikhlas Beringin has a good effect because the average student score on the test of understanding concepts and students' mathematical communication skills is quite good.

Abstract

Peluang merupakan materi yang dipelajari pada saat mempelajari mata pelajaran Matematika dan penting untuk dipelajari sebab memiliki berbagai kontribusi, baik pada materi matematika tingkat lanjut maupun pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun pada kenyataannya, banyak siswa merasa kesulitan untuk menerapkannya pada matematika tingkat lanjut dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh sebab itu, para peneliti melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk 1)Mendeskripsikan hasil  belajar siswa dalam materi peluang, 2)Mengetahui kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam materi peluang yang dipelajari, 3)Mengidentifikasi penyebab kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa di kelas XII MTS MA AL ITTIHADIYAH Medan Johor tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Data penelitian diperoleh dari sampel yang diambil, yaitu 33 siswa kelas XII Tolhah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa masih sangat rendah. Hal ini didukung karena hanya 14 siswa (4,2%) dari 33 siswa yang tuntas pada materi peluang. Oleh karena itu, peneliti berasumsi bahwa siswa pada umumnya mengalami kesulitan belajar ketika mempelajari materi peluang. Kesulitan belajar disebabkan oleh 1) rendahnya pemahaman dasar terhadap materi peluang; 2) minat/kemauan yang rendah dalam mempelajari materi peluang; 3) latihan dalam mengerjakan soal-soal peluang yang masih kurang; 4) kesulitan dalam menganalisis soal cerita; 5) kurangnya makna dalam pembelajaran peluang.

Abstract

AbstractMathematics is a subject with a concept of how to solve it. Mathematics is also a subject that can be found in education, trading, buying and selling, work, and other daily activities. Combination is the arrangement of an object regardless of the order. The purpose of this research was to find out the standard of the subject's mathematical understanding ability. This research was conducted with a subject of 33 students who attended MA AL ITTIHADIYAH in Medan City with the results of the study getting 2 types of students, namely high ability students reaching 93% and students' moderate ability reaching 7%. The results are obtained through a pilot test in the form of 2 questions with 1 essay and 1 multiple choice question.Keywords : Understanding Of The Problem, Combination, Qualitative          AbstrakMatematika merupakan mata pelajaran dengan memiliki konsep cara penyelesaian. Matematika juga merupakan mata pelajaran yang dapat di temukan di pendidikan, perdagangannya jual beli, pekerjaan, serta kegiatan sehari-hari lainnya. Kombinasi merupakan penyusunan suatu objek tanpa melihat urutannya. Tujuan di adakan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui standard kemampuan pemahaman matematis subjek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan subjek berjumlah 33 siswa yang bersekolah di MA AL ITTIHADIYAH di Kota Medan dengan hasil penelitian mendapatkan 2 type siswa yaitu kemampuan tinggi siswa mencapai 93% dan kemampuan sedang siswa mencapai 7%. Hasil di dapat dengan melalui tes uji coba berbentuk 2 soal dengan 1 essay dan 1 soal pilihan berganda.Kata Kunci : Pemahaman Masalah, Kombinasi, Kualitatif

Abstract

Penelitiaan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik menggunakan model pendekatan problem based learning. Subjek  penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X AKL 1  SMK Negeri 7 Medan yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, yaitu siklus pertama terdiri dari dua pertemuan, siklus kedua terdiri dari dua pertemuan, dan siklus ketiga terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman observasi, tes siklus, angket respon siswa, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa kelas X AKL 1  SMK Negri 7 Medan meningkat dibandingkan pada Siklus I, Siklus II dan Siklus III. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh 32 siswa atau 89% mengalami peningkatan kemampuan berpikir matematis berdasarkan total skor setiap dimensi kemampuan berpikir matematis. Rata-rata persentase hasil tes meningkat dari 45,95% pada Siklus I menjadi 73,41% pada Siklus II dan  89,52% pada  kategori tinggi pada Siklus III. Berdasarkan observasi, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PBL sudah baik dan sesuai dengan karakteristik PBL. Hal ini tercermin dari peningkatan  rata-rata tingkat keterlaksanaan dari 71,43% pada Siklus I menjadi 85,71% pada Siklus II dan  100% pada Siklus III. Berdasarkan data wawancara dan angket, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir matematis tercatat mengalami peningkatan dari Siklus I, Siklus II, dan Siklus III. Model PBL menunjukkan respon positif pembelajaran matematika pada siswa sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis.

Abstract

The low results and activities in mathematics learning are the main basis for this research. The aim of this research is to see how well the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes and activities. The research was carried out at SMK Negeri 7 Medan. This research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK). The respondents of this research were class X AKL 3 students at SMK Negeri 7 Medan, consisting of 35 people. Data collection techniques use observation and test techniques. Data collection instruments used observation sheets and essay tests. The research results showed that student activity in cycle I was 70% (good) and in cycle II it was 90% (very good). Then the students' classical learning results in cycle I were 57.14% (Medium) with an average of 76.36 and in cycle II it was 88.57% (Very high) with an average of 87.71. So the conclusion of this research is that through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, it can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes and activities in statistics material in class X AKL 3 SMK Negeri 7 Medan.

Abstract

This research is based on the low interest in studying mathematics in class The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects in this classroom action research were 35 students of class X ULP 1 SMK Negeri 7 Medan consisting of 8 male students and 27 female students. The instruments used in this research were observation sheets of student and teacher learning activities, student interest questionnaires and test sheets. Based on the results of research that has been carried out in two cycles in this study, it is concluded that the application of the project based learning (PjBL) learning model with the help of interactive PowerPoint can increase students' interest in learning statistics. This can be seen from the increase in students' interest in learning from before the research was carried out (pre cycle) amounting to 48.2% (Poorly Good) to 73.38% (Good) after the first cycle and increasing again after the second cycle, amounting to 81.6% (Very good). Student statistics learning outcomes also increased from before the research was conducted (pre-cycle) by 50.8% (Poorly Good) to 73.73% (Good) after the first cycle and increased again after the second cycle of 81.30% (Very Good ).

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to ascertain the degree to which the implementation of the Problem Based Learning methodology can enhance students' interest in statistics content and mathematics learning outcomes. This investigation is a two-round classroom action research project. The study sample comprised 34 pupils enrolled in class X MPLB 5 at SMK Negeri 7 Medan. The process of gathering data was conducted via observation, questionnaires, and assessments. During the data collection phase, both teacher actions pertaining to the management of learning activities and student engagement in problem-based learning activities are assessed. Questionnaires are employed to determine the degree of interest that students have in mathematics courses. Subsequently, learning outcomes assessments are implemented to determine the degree to which pupils have comprehended the material. Based on the examination of research outcomes, one may deduce that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning pedagogical approach has resulted in enhanced scholastic performance and heightened student engagement with mathematics, particularly with regard to the domain of statistics. The observed performance increase is evident in the report of progress, which indicates a rise from 65% in the pre-cycle to 70% in cycle I, and subsequently to 95% in cycle II. The survey responses indicate that the proportion of students who are enthusiastic about acquiring knowledge in the field of mathematics rises as they progress from the pre-cycle stage to cycles I and II. More precisely, the proportion of pupils classified as "good" rose from 61.53% in the pre-cycle phase to 73.72 % in cycle I, and subsequently climbed to 87.73 percent in cycle II. The results of student learning assessments also demonstrate an upward trend. The proportion of accurate responses was 65.73% in the pre-cycle phase, 71.17% in cycle I, and 85 % in cycle II. Therefore, it can be inferred that the Problem Based Learning instructional strategy possesses the capacity to enhance students' scholastic performance and cultivate a passion for the study of mathematics

Abstract

In order to find out whether the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) style of learning may help students in class XI IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 10 Medan learn more about algebraic function derivatives in the 2023–2024 school year, this study was conducted. This study follows a two-cycle format typical of PTK, or Classroom Action Research. Twelve male and twenty female students from class XI IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 10 Medan made up the total of thirty-two participants in this research. The researchers in this study relied on observation and testing to compile their data. This study found that students in class XI IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 10 Medan learned more about the derivative of algebraic functions than in previous years. Both the percentage of teachers seeing student activities and the percentage of teachers observing teacher activities rose to 89.06% and 86.62%, respectively, in cycle II. Furthermore, student learning outcomes improved by 86.22 percent. Class XI IPA 2 students at SMA Negeri 10 Medan improved their performance in the 2023–2024 school year after using the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) style of instruction.

Abstract

Technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) adalah pengetahuan tentang pentingnya integrasi antara teknologi dan pedagogik dalam pengembangan konten di dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) implementasi pendekatan TPACK dalam proses pembelajaran (2) Kendala implementasi pendekatan TPACK dalam proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mana nantinya akan mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan TPACK dalam pembelajaran. Sampel penelitian ini seluruh jumlah populasi di 1 kelas yaitu 35 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian implementasi pendekatan TPACK dilakukan dengan menyelaraskan proses pembelajaran dalam hal pentrasferan ilmu pengetahuan melalui teknologi dimana pendidik mengimplementasikan pendekatan TPACK ini dengan memanfaatkan video pembelajaran pada muatan PKn yang interaktif dan menampilkannya dengan berbagai perangkat teknologi, namun masih terdapat kendala yang dialami pendidik bila menggunakan pendekatan TPACK ini yaitu masalah pemadaman arus listrik, kendala lainnya ditemukan bila video pembelajaran yang ingin ditampilkan harus membutuhkan jaringan internet maka pendidik membutuhkan sinyal yang stabil pada saat proses pembelajaran.
