Abstract

Misconceptions are a common problem that still often occurs in students both at elementary school, high school, and even in college students. Especially science learning with many abstract concepts has a large chance of misconception. Therefore, it is necessary to detect student misconceptions early on. There are several ways to detect misconceptions, one of which is a multilevel diagnostic test that has developed into two tiers, three tiers, and four tiers. This diagnostic test can detect student misconceptions so that later teachers can set the right learning strategy to correct misconceptions and slowly improve student learning outcomes. The type of research used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The location of the research is SMP NWDI Pancor with a sample of 27 students. The data analysis technique uses the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) analysis. The results of the analysis show that the number of students who experience misconceptions in science lessons is more than 70% of the total students. Misconceptions occur most in the material of Work and Energy.

Abstract

Modern education not only focuses on the development of cognitive abilities but also emphasizes the importance of shaping students' character to be balanced spiritually, socially, and environmentally. The Tri Hita Karana philosophy, rooted in Balinese culture, provides a framework that underscores the significance of harmonious relationships between humans and God (Parahyangan), humans and others (Pawongan), and humans and nature (Palemahan). This research aims to examine the synergy between the Tri Hita Karana philosophy and the Project-Based Learning (PBL) model in creating holistic and sustainable learning. The method used in this study is a literature review, where various relevant works on Tri Hita Karana and PBL are analyzed to understand the integration of these two concepts in the educational context. The analysis is conducted by identifying how each dimension of Tri Hita Karana can be applied in PBL-based projects, as well as the impact of this synergy on students' character development. The results of this review indicate that integrating Tri Hita Karana with PBL can create a learning environment that supports students' spiritual, social, and environmental awareness development. Through PBL, students engage in real-world projects that not only enhance academic skills but also instill values of harmony with God, others, and nature. This synergy results in a more meaningful, relevant, and sustainable educational approach, where students not only improve their cognitive skills but also become socially and environmentally responsible individuals.

Abstract

Dalam era modern yang didominasi oleh perkembangan teknologi dan inovasi, fisika memainkan peran penting dalam memahami fenomena alam dan menyelesaikan masalah kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, konsep-konsep fisika seringkali dianggap sulit dan abstrak, menimbulkan tantangan dalam proses pembelajaran. Artikel ini membahas peran filsafat pendidikan dalam mendukung pemahaman mendalam tentang konsep-konsep fisika melalui pendekatan yang mencakup pragmatisme, konstruktivisme, dan idealisme. Melalui penerapan prinsip-prinsip epistemologi, ontologi, dan aksiologi, pendidikan fisika dapat ditingkatkan dari sekadar pengajaran teori menjadi proses yang kritis dan reflektif. Kajian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moral, etis, dan konteks dunia nyata dalam pendidikan fisika, sehingga siswa tidak hanya memahami konsep energi, gerak, dan hukum alam, tetapi juga menghubungkan pembelajaran dengan implikasi sosial dan lingkungan. Rekomendasi diberikan bagi pendidik untuk mengadopsi pendekatan konstruktivis dan kontekstual, membimbing siswa dalam berpikir kritis dan memahami konsep fisika secara menyeluruh. In the modern era, dominated by technological advancement and innovation, physics plays a crucial role in understanding natural phenomena and solving everyday life challenges. However, physics concepts are often perceived as difficult and abstract, posing challenges in the learning process. This article discusses the role of educational philosophy in supporting a deeper understanding of physics concepts through approaches such as pragmatism, constructivism, and idealism. By applying principles of epistemology, ontology, and axiology, physics education can be elevated from mere theoretical teaching to a critical and reflective process. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating moral, ethical values, and real-world contexts into physics education, allowing students not only to understand concepts of energy, motion, and natural laws but also to connect learning with social and environmental implications. Recommendations are provided for educators to adopt constructivist and contextual approaches, guiding students in critical thinking and comprehensively understanding physics concepts..

Abstract

This research aims to develop Problem-Based Learning (PBL) –based Student Worksheets (LKPD) to enhance the critical thingking abilities of 11th- grade students at health vocational High School. The study falls under the category of research and development (R&D). The development model employed in this research was t 4D model, comprising define, design, develop, and disseminate phase. The evaluation of the PBLbased LKPD development product involved validation by subject matter, experts, media experts, subject teachers, and student response questionnaires. Data analysus of the questionnaire results included data tabulation from each validator and calculation of percentages. Based on the assessment by two subject matter experts, the LKPD’s quality falls within the highly sitable category with a percentage score of 83%. Validation by two media experts also indicates that the LKPD’s quality is highly suitable with a percentage score of 92%. Furthermore, evaluation by two subject teacher shows that the LKPD’s quality is highly suitable with a percentage score of 93%. Student responses are categorized as highly interested with a percentage score of 98%.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training to teachers at Madrasah under the auspices of the Yayasan Pendidikan Ridlol Walidain (YPRW) Nahdlatul Wathan Diniah Islamiyah (NWDI) Batu Bangka in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The methods of implementing the mentoring that will be carried out are as follows: 1) a Workshop on compiling the madrasah unit curriculum, 2) a Workshop on compiling learning objectives, learning objective flows, and teaching modules, and 3) a Workshop on compiling projects to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. In addition to the workshop, a mentoring program for the implementation of the three workshops was also carried out. The evaluation results of this community service activity are as follows: 1) 90% of teachers stated that this activity was very satisfied with this community service pattern, 2) the quality of the curriculum products produced was classified as very good, 3) 75% of teachers were able to produce products in the form of TP, ATP, and teaching modules, and 4) the P5 team was able to produce P5 modules with a very good category. From the evaluation results, it can be said that this madrasa could be an example of implementing the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

This study conducts a systematic review of secondary school physics curricula in 18 countries, including both developed and developing nations, to identify patterns in curriculum structure, pedagogical approaches, and implemented innovations. Utilizing the PRISMA framework, 25 indexed articles published between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed using comparative and content analysis methods. The findings reveal significant differences in curriculum modularity and flexibility. Developed countries such as Finland, Germany, and the United States adopt highly adaptive and student-centered models, while developing countries like Pakistan and Rwanda implement more rigid and centralized models. Globally, there is a pedagogical shift towards inquiry-based learning, the integration of contextual and cultural values, and the use of innovative technologies such as PhET simulations, Arduino, Python, and digital assessment tools. This study highlights practical implications for Indonesia, emphasizing the need to implement a physics curriculum that is more flexible, contextual, and technologically innovative, while integrating local values to equip students with 21st-century competencies.

Abstract

This research aims to improve generic science skills by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This research using the method of classroom action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementing actions, observing/observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were class X MIPA 3 of SMAN 3 Selong with a total of 26 people. Data was collected using a test technique to see the increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The results showed an increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2 with the percentage of generic science skills from 60.97% to 76.72%, including the medium to high category. The results obtained indicate that there is an increase in generic physics skills by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena alih kode dan campur kode yang terjadi dalam komunikasi remaja di media sosial. Fenomena kebahasaan ini semakin sering ditemukan karena media sosial menjadi ruang interaksi utama remaja di era digital. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan data berupa percakapan teks dari aplikasi WhatsApp, Instagram, dan TikTok. Data dikumpulkan melalui tangkapan layar percakapan remaja serta wawancara untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab alih kode dan campur kode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alih kode dominan terjadi antara bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris, sedangkan campur kode banyak ditemukan dalam bentuk penyisipan kata atau frasa asing dalam percakapan sehari-hari. Faktor penyebabnya antara lain pengaruh globalisasi, identitas kelompok, dan gaya bahasa remaja yang cenderung dinamis. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi pada kajian sosiolinguistik serta pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan memperhatikan fenomena kebahasaan digital.

Abstract

Kegiatan Penugasan Dosen di Sekolah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi antara Dosen dan Guru di Sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi: observasi, perancangan, pelaksanaan dan Refleksi. Adapun produk yang dihasilkan berupa: Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Lembar Kerja Siswa, Lembar Observasi Pembelajaran, Instrumen Penilaian, Lembar refleksi guru, dan Lembar Refleksi Dosen. Selama kegiatanberlagsung Guru dan Dosen melakukan 7 kali perencanaan, 7 kali pelaksanaan dan 7 kali Refleksi. Kegiatan Perencanaan disesuaikan dengan materi, karakteristik peserta didik dan sarana prasarana yang tersedia. Perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran dilhat dari keaktifan dan ketuntasan klasikal peserta didik selama mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah kolaborasi guru dengan dosen di sekolah sangat bermanfaat dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) learning model on students' understanding of physics concepts at MA Muallimat NWDI Pancor. The type of research used is truly experimental with a posttest only control design. The population of the study was all students of class XI MIPA at MA Muallimat NWDI Pancor. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The selected samples were class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 2 as the control class. The data collection technique used a concept understanding test. The posttest results show that the conceptual understanding of students in the experimental class using the Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) learning model is higher than that of the control class taught using the conventional learning model. Based on the results of the data analysis, the hypothesis test calculation using the right-hand t-test formula at a significance level of 5% gives tcount = 2.388 and ttable = 1.669. From these results, it can be seen that the tcount value > t_table (2.388 > 1.669), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The effect size is 0.56, which is included in the medium category. This shows that the application of the Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) learning model is effective for students' understanding of physics concepts at MA Muallimat NWDI Pancor on the topic of optics.
