Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Problem-Based Learning for spatial geometry material in fifth grade elementary schools. The background of this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes and the limited teaching materials that can encourage active student involvement. The development process uses the ADDIE model with validation from material experts, media experts, and design experts which shows that the developed LKPD meets the criteria of very valid. The results of the effectiveness test show that this LKPD is able to improve conceptual understanding, active involvement, and student learning outcomes in mathematics learning. This study concludes that LKPD based on Problem-Based Learning is suitable for use as an alternative teaching material in elementary schools. The recommendation from this study is the need for teachers to integrate problem-based teaching materials into mathematics learning on an ongoing basis and to develop other materials and levels so that the results are broader and deeper.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning multimedia based on the Discovery Learning approach using the Kodular application for teaching Demand, Supply, and Equilibrium Price in Economics subjects at SMP Swasta Santo Thomas 1 Medan. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which is commonly used in educational product development. The development process was carried out systematically through five stages, focusing on creating multimedia that supports student self-directed learning and enhances their understanding of the subject matter. The results of the study show that the developed multimedia was well received by students, as evidenced by its effectiveness in facilitating active learning and increasing student engagement. This is reflected in the significant improvement in the average student scores from 39.28 before the implementation to 94.53 after the use of Kodular-based multimedia. At the evaluation stage, the application was well accepted and provided a deeper understanding of economic concepts to the students, based on positive feedback from expert validators and learners. The study concludes that the implementation of Discovery Learning through Kodular significantly enhances the quality of instruction, providing students with a deeper comprehension of complex topics in Economics.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to (1) find out the Mobile CAP learning model is suitable for use in Civics Subject learning, (2) find out the Mobile CAP learning model is practically used in Civics Subject learning, (3) find out that the Mobile CAP model is effective in Civics Subject learning in Class X of Pematangsiantar City High School. The development procedure of the Mobile CAP model refers to the Plomp development model accompanied by several modifications by paying attention to the R&D research steps consisting of the initial investigation phase, the design phase, the realization phase, the testing phase, evaluation, and revision. The location of the development trial is SMA Negeri 6 Pematangsiantar. The results of the study, namely the assessment or feasibility measurement carried out by experts on the learning model and supporting device products in the form of learning models, model books, teacher manuals, student manuals, Mobile CAP media, and the evaluation of learning outcomes as a whole are valid/feasible to be used for Civics Subject learning to students. The results of the practicality test through observation of teacher and student activities during learning, one-on-one trials, limited group trials, and field trials conducted on teachers and students prove that the entire product developed is very practical to use for Civics Subject learning for students. The results of the product effectiveness test through student learning outcomes obtained an N-Gain price with a high category which means that the product developed is effectively used in the implementation of Civics Subject learning for students.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology and the digitalization of banking services have brought convenience as well as new risks in the form of increasingly complex cyber threats, such as data breaches, system hacking, and operational disruptions. These cyber risks not only affect the internal stability of banks but also potentially cause losses to customers and undermine public trust in the national financial system. Although the Indonesian banking regulatory framework has addressed risk management and data protection, specific regulations concerning mandatory cyber insurance for banks have not yet been comprehensively established. This study aims to analyze the urgency of regulating cyber insurance as a legal obligation for banks in order to strengthen legal protection, risk mitigation, and banking system stability. The research employs a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches by examining banking regulations, data protection laws, and legal doctrines related to risk management and insurance. The findings indicate that cyber insurance plays a strategic role as a non-financial risk mitigation instrument by providing financial protection against losses caused by cyber attacks. Therefore, the mandatory regulation of cyber insurance for banks is an urgent necessity to ensure customer protection, enhance banking resilience, and support trust and stability within the national financial system.
