Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to develop a reading and writing program in elementary schools to foster awareness and interest in student literacy. This program was developed based on PjBL (Project Based Learning) as an ongoing activity. This program was developed through five stages with (1) analysis, (2) planning, (3) development, (4) application, and (5) evaluation. The research data collected by questionnaires, interviews, and observation instruments that analyzed by qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the program development show that this programs can be applied in elementary schools with qualifications in terms of practicality, attractiveness, and program usefulness. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan program Baca Tulis Asik, Kreatif, dan Komunikatif di SD untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran dan minat literasi siswa. Program dikembangan berbasis PjBL sebagai kegiatan yang diterapkan secara berkelanjutan. Program dikembangkan melalui lima tahap penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari (1) analisis, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan, (4) penerapan, dan (5) evaluasi. Data hasil penelitian dikumpulkan dengan instrumen angket, wawancara, dan observasi yang dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil pengembangan program menunjukkan bahwa program baca tulis dapat diterapkan di sekolah dasar dan menunjukkan kualifikasi dari segi kepraktisan, kemenarikan, dan kebermanfaatan program.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the importance of the availability of valid and reliable test instruments in measuring the four main competencies of elementary school teachers, which include professional, pedagogical, personality, and social competencies according to educational professionalism standards in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of the competency test tryout instrument in the elementary teacher professional education program (PPG SD) through tests of differentiation, difficulty, validity, reliability, and effectiveness of the diverter, so that the feasibility of the question items used can be determined. The research method used a quantitative approach with the analysis of question items on 35 test items, including the validity test, the reliability of Cronbach's Alpha, as well as the analysis of the distribution of answers and the effectiveness of the trickster. The results of the study showed that some of the questions had sufficient quality with adequate differentiation, moderate difficulty, and a well-functioning distractor, but still many invalid items and ineffective deceptionists were found. The reliability value of the instrument was around 0.7, indicating a fairly good internal consistency, although there were still items with low correlations that needed to be revised. Thus, this test instrument has the potential to be used as a competency measurement tool for students of the PPG SD Program, but requires a thorough revision of several items to be more valid, reliable, and representative. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya ketersediaan instrumen tes yang valid dan reliabel dalam mengukur empat kompetensi utama guru sekolah dasar, yaitu kompetensi profesional, pedagogis, kepribadian, dan sosial sesuai dengan standar profesi pendidikan di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kualitas instrumen uji coba tes kompetensi dalam program pendidikan profesional guru sekolah dasar (PPG SD) melalui pengujian diferensiasi, tingkat kesulitan, validitas, reliabilitas, dan efektivitas distraktor, sehingga kelayakan butir-butir soal yang digunakan dapat ditentukan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis terhadap 35 butir soal, termasuk pengujian validitas, reliabilitas dengan Cronbach’s Alpha, serta analisis distribusi jawaban dan efektivitas distraktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa soal memiliki kualitas yang memadai dengan tingkat daya pembeda yang cukup, tingkat kesulitan sedang, dan pilihan jawaban pengecoh yang berfungsi dengan baik, namun masih ditemukan banyak item yang tidak valid dan pilihan jawaban pengecoh yang tidak efektif. Nilai reliabilitas instrumen tersebut sekitar 0,7, yang menunjukkan konsistensi internal yang cukup baik, meskipun masih terdapat item dengan korelasi rendah yang perlu direvisi. Dengan demikian, instrumen tes ini berpotensi digunakan sebagai alat pengukuran kompetensi bagi mahasiswa Program PPG SD, namun memerlukan revisi menyeluruh terhadap beberapa butir soal agar lebih valid, reliabel, dan representatif.

Abstract

Digital teaching materials are one of the main needs in the field of education in this era 4.0. Digital teaching materials continue to be innovated in various forms such as e-modules in learning. Based on the needs, the purpose of this study was to develop e-modules collaborated with PjBL for the subject of basic learning skills. The results of the development of the collaboration between e-modules and PjBL received a good response from experts, educators, and students who were eligible as teaching materials. This development is one form of digital products that bridge current and future learning needs for students for training in using IT in the digital era in learning as prospective educators

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dua bahasa bersama siswa kelas IV di SD Lab UM Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriftif kualitatif. Pendekatan Kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena data yang terkumpul berbemtuk wawancara dan observasi. Metode ini digunakan sesaui denngan tujuan yaitu menganalisis penelitian kemampan menulis cerpen dengan pengajaran bilingual pada siswa kelas IV SD Lab UM Kora Malang tahun Pelajaran 2025/ 2026.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Bilingual SD Lab Kota Malang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu edoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan pada menulis siswa Kelas IV dengan pengajaran bilingual di SD Lab UM Kota Malang adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa dalam menentukan unsur intrinsik cerpen terutama pada teks cerpen terbilang cukup rendah. Mengapa demikian karena hasil tes yang telah dilakukan oleh siswa menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua siswa memahami dengan baik materi unsur intrinsik cerpen tidak semua siswa mengetahui cara menentukan dan menulis cerpen dengan benar

Abstract

Based on project-based collaborative learning, this study attempts to evaluate the numeracy skills of prospective elementary education teachers. The study design is pretest-posttest control group, and the research methodology is experimental and quantitative. Purposive sampling strategies are used to create experimental and control classes.While project assignments are completed individually in the control class, they are administered in groups to the experimental class. Ten multiple-choice and yes-or-no (objective) questions are used in the pre-test and post-test results to gather information on students' numeracy proficiency. Project-based collaborative learning research findings are applied to enhance the numeracy skills of prospective elementary education teachers. The score's outcomes after acquiring the experimental class were 0.001 and The experimental class used group projects, while the control class used individual projects. The control class's pre-test and post-test collaborative learning results differed by less than 0.001.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a humorous children’s audio podcast based on the Seven Habits of Great Indonesian Children to strengthen character education in elementary schools. Using a Research and Development design with the ADDIE model, data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation, student questionnaires, and short character-based tests. Instruments included validation sheets, teacher practicality questionnaires, student response forms, and tests aligned with the Seven Habits indicators. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques supported by qualitative feedback. The product consisted of seven humorous podcast episodes. Validation results indicated high feasibility (mean = 4.67). Field testing with 48 students at SDN Sumberdem 1, Malang Regency, showed very positive responses (mean = 4.74; 95%). Students were enthusiastic, understood moral messages clearly, and demonstrated emerging positive traits such as empathy, responsibility, discipline, and motivation. The podcast is feasible, engaging, and effective for strengthening character education and supporting the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

This development research was motivated by fifth-grade elementary school students’ limited understanding of the digestive system and the scarcity of learning materials. The results of the needs analysis indicated that students require engaging digital media to help them understand the concepts of the digestive system. This study aims to produce a PBL-based digital learning kit that is valid, practical for teachers to use, and engaging for students. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product consists of problem-based digital modules designed to enhance students’ motivation, enthusiasm for learning, and engagement. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires, with a pilot test conducted at SDN Lowokwaru 5. The results showed 90.6% content validity, 100% media validity, 96.6% practicality, and 98.7% appeal. Based on these results, the PBL-based digital learning kit was deemed highly valid, practical, and suitable for use in IPAS instruction.

Abstract

The community service activity aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students and strengthen school independence in developing entrepreneurship programs based on local potential. The training activity was carried out at SMPN 4 Lumbang, Probolinggo Regency. The stages of this training activity include planning that includes identifying partner needs, preparing training designs, implementing training, and evaluating and following up through questionnaires, interviews, and participant work portfolios. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' conceptual understanding of entrepreneurial principles, technical skills in organic vegetable cultivation, and motivation to start a business independently. In addition, this training activity also formed an organic vegetable garden at the school as an entrepreneurship laboratory. The benefits of this activity are not only felt by the participants but on the other hand it is also able to strengthen the development of teacher and institutional capacity in developing entrepreneurship-based programs in the school environment. Recommendations for the future are that schools can develop collaboration with farmers and MSMEs while integrating entrepreneurial values ​​into the school curriculum so that the development of entrepreneurship among students can run optimally.

Abstract

This research was carried out to produce a guided inquiry learning module on the topic of energy and its changes for grade IV elementary school students, with the module expected to satisfy the standards of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. A Research and Development (R&D) design following the ADDIE framework was applied, engaging 25 pupils as research subjects. Data collection combined classroom observation, teacher interviews, expert validation sheets, user response questionnaires, and a set of achievement tests. Findings indicated that the developed module obtained a validity rating of 94% from the material expert and 95% from the media expert, placing it in the very valid category. Practicality scores from teachers and pupils reached 95.6% and 93.8%, respectively, confirming a highly practical rating. The average student score rose from 61.43 to 86.57, yielding an N-Gain value of 0.65 which falls under the moderate category. Based on these results, the module can be considered a suitable resource for supporting science instruction at the elementary level.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a science story book for improve science interest elementary school students in Malang. This research is classified as development research. The research stages use the ADDIE model. This research was conducted at SDN Percobaan 2 Malang, Malang City, East Java Province. The research instrument used validity and effective questionnaire sheet. The research data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the study indicated that the science story book meets the validity. Based on the validation results of the material experts, the percentage results were 78% with valid criteria, the media experts obtained a percentage result of 98% with very valid criteria and the validation results of the educator response test obtained a percentage result of 84% with very valid criteria. The effective of science storybooks in students’ interest in learning science obtained a percentage result 83,54% with very high criteria. The conclusion of this study is that the developed science storybook is effective for use in science learning and improve the interest science elementary school students. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku cerita sains untuk meningkatkan minat belajar sains siswa tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Tahapan penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Percobaan 2 Malang, Kota Malang, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket validitas dan angket minat belajar sains. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan buku cerita sains memenuhi syarat validitas. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh hasil persentase 78% dengan kriteria valid, ahli media diperoleh hasil persentase 98% dengan kriteria sangat valid dan hasil validasi uji respon pendidik diperoleh hasil persentase 84% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Uji efektivitas buku cerita sains terhadap minat belajar sains siswa diperoleh hasil persentase 83,54% kategori sangat tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah buku cerita sains yang dikembangkan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran sains dan meningkatkan minat belajar sains siswa tingkat sekolah dasar.
