Abstract

Kegiatan U-UJI ini dilakukan sejak Tahun 2007 sld Tahun 2008, dengan sebelumnya telah ada rintisan usaha ikan hias di ka:npus. Perolehan dana Dikti melalui DP2lv menunjang pengembagan usaha ikan hias di kampus Pada awalnya hanya usaha ikan hias, kemudian dilakukanusaha lainnya yakni pembuatan akuatium dan usaha plokultur. Tujuan kegiatan U-UJI di kampus tidak untuk mengembangkan usaha ikan hias dengan menerapkan metode apliktif seperti metode monosek, persilangan antar jenis ikan. Aplikasi metoie ini untuk bisa mengisi peluang pasar mengingat trend ikan hias berganti dalam2- 3 tahun. Penerapan penelitian pada kegiatan program U-UJI ini yaitu aplikasi teknik sex reversal. Teknik sex reversal adalah teknik untuk  menghasilkan ikan hias yang memiliki kualitas yang sesuai dengan selera pasar ikbn hias yang sedang trend pada saat tersebut. Aplikasi teknik sex reversal dilakukan dengiur menyilangkan jenis koki lawalawa; koki rowanda, koki dan koki tosa. Hasil persilangan adalah munculnyajenis yang unik, yakni koki olala dankoki panador. Adapun pemasaran dilakukan dengan membuka toko ikan hias.Kata kunci: Ikan hias, monosek, polikultur

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of immersion clove leaf extract against hatching of fish eggs Mas. The experiment was conducted on January 31 -5 in February 2017, at the Laboratory of Fish Seed (BBI) Sojomerto, District Reban, Batang. The study was conducted based on completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters measured were hatchability of eggs of fish Mas Treatments were differences in dose soaking leaf extract Clove on fish eggs Mas, namely A (0 ppt), B (5 ppt), C (7 ppt), D (9 ppt), and E (11 ppt). To determine the effect of treatment on the hatchability of eggs. All data was proceed on analysis of variance. Result showed the highest hatching value reached on immerson clove leaf extract at a dose of 9 ppt, around 98,89%. Respectively, a dose of 7 ppt in the amount of 88,89%, 11 ppt reached up 82,22%, 5 ppt of 61,11% and the lowest value on 0 ppt, which is equal tp 17,78%. Water quality in the range of feasible Ph 6-7, temperature 22-240C, and DO 4.32 -5.7ppm.Keywords: Clove Leaf Extract, carp (Cyprinus carpio L.), hatching rate

Abstract

AbstrakKomponen  biaya produksi terbesar yang diserap oleh pakan, adalah  50-70 %  dari total biaya produks.i Bahan baku  tepung jeroan bandeng  diharapkan dapat  menekan  biaya produksi  dan limbah jeroan bandeng sebagai salah satu bahan alternaif dalam pembuatan pakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode eksperimen laboratorium menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan masing-masing dengan 3 ulangan. Masing-masing perlakuan menggunakan  kombinasi tepung jeroan bandeng  dan tepung ikan. Perlakuan A (0% ; 60%), B (20% ; 40%), C (40% ; 20%) dan D (60% ; 0%).  Pakan diberikan sebanyak 4 kali sehari yaitu pada pukul 08.00, 13.00, 17.00 dan 23.00 sebanyak 8% dari bobot biomassa udang.  Materi yang digunakan adalah juvenile udang windu dengan rata-rata bobot biomasa  0,75-1,29  g.  Juvenil udang dipelihara dengan kepadatan 30 ekor dalam ember dengan volume air 30 L dan salinitas 25 ppt. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan buatan berbentuk crumble dengan kombinasi persentase tepung jeroan bandeng dan tepung ikan  yang berbeda berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap RGR, EPP, dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap PER, tapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P˃0,05) terhadap SR juvenile udang windu. Perlakuan B memberikan pertumbuhan relatif tertinggi yaitu 4,90%/hari. Nilai rasio efesiansi protein dan efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan tertinggi diperoleh dari perlakuan B sebesar 1,69 dan 56,96%. Kelulushidupan udang windu berkisar antara 83,33-87,78%. Kisaran kualitas air masih dalam kondosi yang layak untuk media budidaya udang windu. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat dwasimpulkan bahwa penggunaan substitusi 20% tepung jeroan bandeng dalam pakan buatan memberikan pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan udang windu terbaik. Kata Kunci: Tepung Jeroan Bandeng, Penaeus monodon, Efisiensi Pakan, Pertumbuhan, Kelulushidupan.*) Corresponding Author pinandjaya@yahoo.com AbstractTotal production cost component of 50-70% was absorbed by the food. Accordingly, to reduce the cost of tiger shrimp production to try of waste utilization as an material alternative for feed substitution. The experiment method was used completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replicates each. Treatment has different ratio Innards flour (%) and Fish flour (%). Treatment A (0% : 60%), B (20% : 40%), C (40% : 20%) and D (60% : 0%). The Feed given 4 times a day which was at 08.00, 13.00 17.00 and 23:00 as much as 8% of the weight of the shrimp biomass. The material used juvenile tiger shrimp with an average weight of 0.75 - 1.29 g biomass. Juvenile tiger shrimp maintained at a density of 30 head in a bucket of water with a volume of 30 L and salinity 30 ppt. The results showed that the artificial feeding crumble-shaped with a different substitution milkfish innards flour has a high significantly (P<0.01) on the RGR, EPP, and the PER had significantly effect (P<0.05), and but had no significantly effect (P˃0.05) on SR juvenile shrimp. Value of relative growth rate was highest in treatment B 4.90%/day. The best of protein efficiency ratio and feeding efficiency was obtained in treatment B 1.69 and 56.96%. Survival rate ranged of tiger shrimp between 83.33 - 87.78%. Range of water quality was still in decent condition for shrimp cultivation media. Based on the research, it could be concluded that using substitution of 20% innards milk fish flour in the feed artificial provides the best growth and survival rate of shrimp. Keywords: Innards Milkfish Flour, Penaeus monodon, feed  efficiency, growt , survival rate.

Abstract

Tilapia fish (Oreochromis niloticus) is one of freshwater commodities gained big attentionfrom governments abd obsevers of world fisheries issues, especially related to raising nutritients in countries – developing countries. The succes of Tilapias related to environment healthy and fish disease caused by bacteria. One of bacteria found in aquatic ecosystems is Escherichia coli. This research has a purpose to know there are Escherichia coli at Tilapia fish cultivation and to know the existence of contamination from cultivation media. This research is done on February 24th until March 6th, 2015. The research used sample purposive sampling, sample was taken at three fishpond locations, there was slamaran and Degayu. Then, sample was analyzed at Laboratory testing and Quality Control of Fishery Product ( LPPMHP), Pekalongan City. The research result show that Escherichia coli content in first fishpond is 3,6 MPN/gr, second fishpond is 9,4 MPN/gr and the last fishpond is 9,3 MPN/gr. Another side, Escherichia coli content of meat Tilapias is less than 3 MPN/gr for each cultivation, either in Slamaran or Degayu. It is stated that the content of E.coli in the pond water does not contaminate tilapia fish. Tilapia fish is safe for consumption. Keywords : Escherichia coli, fishpond, tilapia fish

Abstract

Daun sirih dapat digunakan sebagai obat alami maupun buatan karena mengandung chlavicol yang mempunyai sifat bakterasidal dan fungisidal pada bakteri dan  jamur. Selain itu daun sirih dapat menanggulangi serangan ekloparasit pada ikan hias tetra salah satunya adalah ikan tetra. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai konsentrasi daun sirih terhadap kelulushidupan ikan neon tetra terhadap serangang ektoparasit dan konsentrasi optimal yang diberikan sebagai pengobatan terhadap serangan ktoparasit.Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental laboratories dengan rancangan dasar acak lengkap dan ikan uji yang digunakan adalah ikan hias tetra. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi daun sirih yang berbeda mempunyai pengaruh sangat nyeta (P (  0,01) terhadap Kelulushidupan ikan hias tetra dan padakonsentrasi  daun sirih 8,3 ppt (99,40%) paling efektif untuk mengurangi ektoparasit pada ikan hias tetra. Kata kunci : Daun Sirih, Ikan hias Tetra Ektoparasit dan Kelulushidupan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the tea solution to the hatching of fish eggs catfish and determine the percentage of the optimal solution for soaking tea fish eggs catfish. The study was designed using completely randomized design (CRD) by applying 5 treatments and 3 replications. As the treatment is tea solution at a dose as follows: A (0 g / L), B (2 g / L), C (4 g / L), D (6 g / L) and E (8 g / L). Results of analysis of variance showed differences in the percentage of tea very significant effect on the percentage of hatchery fish catfish. The average percentage of hatchery fish catfish highest obtained at treatment of 6 g / L is 76.67%, then treatment of 8 g / L at 63.33%, the treatment of 4 g / L by 60%, the treatment of 2 g / L of 53.33% and lowest on the treatment of 0 g / L at 43.33%. The results of the analysis of polynomials orthogonal indicates that the response percentage of hatchery fish catfish to the difference in the percentage of tea quadratic equation: Y = 41.4286 + 8.4031 X - 0.6548 X2, where the percentage of tea optimal for 6:42% with the percentage of hatchery fish catfish of 68.39%. Keywords : Hatcing rate, tea, catfish

Abstract

Floating net cages are models of aquaculture cages for fish cultivation that are adaptable to the phenomenon of flooding and tidal waves. The purpose of this social service is to create a model of floating cages that can be used as a pond for fish cultivation in areas prone to tidal flooding. The method used in the implementation of this social service program is active participation and mentoring which is carried out gradually and periodically to groups of aquaculturist in Jeruksari Village, Pekalongan Regency. The results of this program show that all service activities starting from counseling sessions, mentoring (shopping materials and making cages), to monitoring when the cultivation period goes very smoothly and the aquaculturist partner groups are also quite enthusiastic about participating. The floating cages made from this program are made from cheap and easily available materials in the surrounding environment, such as bamboo, fishing nets, used floating cans, ropes, and stone weights. Based on the implementation of this program, it can be said that the fish farming community in Jeruksari Village is actually able to create practical examples of floating cage models that can be used as a pond for fish cultivation in areas prone to flooding and tidal flooding.Keywords : fish cultivation, cage, model, mentoring, counseling.

Abstract

The purpose of the service community is to improve the knowledge and skills of cultivators so that the brightness of the color of betta fish is better and would bring them a higher income. The method of activity is training and counseling about how to increase the brightness of fish colors and masculinization of betta fish. The result of the service community describes that increasing knowledge was gained from 50 % to 70%.  The brightness of the fish's color could be reached by adding artificial feed (pellets), natural feed, light, feed additives such as carrots, pumpkin, dragon fruit, and tomatoes. Increased knowledge of cultivators about the masculinization process was found from 20% to 90%. This value-based on the total of respondents who answered all correctly. The masculinization process could be done by using some natural ingredients as follow:  honey, coconut water, sea cucumber as media for soaking the fish, and sea cucumber flour which is given to feed of fish. Keywords: betta fish, coconut water, masculinization, brightness

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian pakan menggunakan penambahan tepung bayam anting dan tepung timbah tauge kacang hijau terhadap efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan, pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan pada benih ikan gurame. Meode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuannya pakan adalah perlakuan dengan perbandingan tepung bayam anting dan tepung limbah tauge, dengan kadar protein 31 – 32 %, untuk perlakuan A; (0:0), B; (8:0). C; (3:3) dan B; (0:8) yang diperoleh dari perhitungan formulasi pakan. Pemberian pakan secara at satiation merupakan salah satu strategi dalam pemberian pakan yang tepat, diharapkan dapat memacu pertumbuhan yang cepat (compensatory growth), meningkatkan efektifitas pemanfaatan pakan dan menjaga kualitas air. Ikan uji yang digunakan adalah ikan gurami dengan panjang individu rata-rata 7,0±0,24 cm dan bobot individu rata-rata 6,04±0,2 g/ekor. Pemberian pakan pada pukul 08.00, 12.00 dan 16.00. Ikan uji dipelihara dengan padat tebar 10 ekor/wadah menggunakan wadah ember 20 liter dengan masa pemeliharaan 42 hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Data yang diamati meliputi total konsumsi pakan (TKP), efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan (EPP), protein efisiensi ratio (PER), laju pertumbuhan relatif (RGR), kelulushidupan (SR) dan kualitas air. Perlakuan EPP yang terbaik adalah perlakuan C 95,92±2,49%, nilai PER 3,00±0,077%. Perlakuan dengan laju pertumbuhan relatif terbaik adalah perlakuan C yaitu RGR 6,11±0,07 %/hari. Kualitas air pada media pemeliharaan selama penelitian berada pada kisaran yang layak untuk kehidupan benih ikan gurami.

Abstract

Abstract  This study aims to determine the effect of tamarind eggplant extract added to feed on the growth of vannamei shrimp and to determine the dose of tamarind eggplant extract which gives the highest growth in vaname shrimp. This research was conducted on 17 December 2020 - 14 January 2021 at the Brackish and Marine Aquaculture Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries, Pekalongan University, Jalan Pantai Dewi No. 1, Slamaran Pekalongan. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (0 ml / L sour eggplant extract / kg feed), B (50 ml / L sour eggplant extract / kg feed), C (100 ml / L sour eggplant extract / kg feed), and D (150 ml / L sour eggplant extract / kg of feed). The results showed that the addition of tamarind eggplant extract at different doses to the feed had a very significant effect on the growth of vaname shrimp seeds. Treatment B had the best growth which was 5.05 gr, then treatment C was 4.33 gr, treatment D was 3.99 gr, and the lowest was treatment A was 3.05 gr.   Keywords: Vanname Shrimp, Tamarind Eggplant, Growth
