Abstract

The study on the role of religious moderation in food consumption practices as a strategy to maintain environmental balance highlights the unique synergy between Islamic and Confucian values within the local context of Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. This article explores the moderate practices of Muslims and Confucians in Pontianak in valuing food to maintain environmental balance. More specifically, this article asks how Islamic and Confucian values of moderation are reflected and integrated into daily consumption practices to maintain environmental balance sustainably. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with informants representing Muslim and Confucian communities. The results show that both communities own environmentally friendly practices reflected in efforts to reduce food waste and control consumption. The concept of moderation and balance in Islam and Confucianism is the main foundation of this practice, as well as religious teachings, cultural norms, and ethical values. The findings suggest that environmental stewardship can be a point of convergence between religion and culture to maintain the sustainability of natural resources. These findings’ policy and conceptual implications can be used to promote awareness of environmental stewardship among Muslim and Confucian communities and develop inclusive sustainability strategies. Further studies can expand the scope and go deeper in understanding sustainable behavior in diverse cultural contexts.

Abstract

Various legal consequences of Sharia law seem to not be implemented by the actors of divorce, especially child support. This ultimately has a negative impact on children as victims of their parents' separation. This research aims to determine how divorced parents fulfill child support obligations for children who are currently studying at three pesantrens (Islamic boarding schools) in the Nganjuk area. The three pesantrens are: Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Mubtadi'in Ar-Ridlo in Tanjunganom Village, Tanjunganom District, Nganjuk Regency; Pondok Modern Darul Ihsan in Payaman Village, Nganjuk District, Nganjuk Regency; and Pondok Pesantren Gedongsari in Tegaron Village, Prambon District, Nganjuk Regency. This research is a descriptive field research using a phenomenological approach. Primary data sources were obtained through interviews and documentation of the actors of broken homes, children as victims, and the pesantren ustadz as their caregivers, supported by secondary data in the form of literature or scientific works. The results of this study found that almost all fathers (former husbands), who are obligated to provide child support, do not provide it. The party that ends up providing child support after divorce is the mother.

Abstract

The development of technology in the digital era has a significant impact on the behavior and mindset of students. In this context, the revitalization of Islamic educational values is an urgent need to shape the character of students who have noble morals and integrity. Islamic education based on the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith contains values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and social concern that are very relevant to the challenges of the times. This study aims to explore the strategic role of Islamic educational values in shaping students' character amidst the influence of a digital culture that tends to be free and permissive. Through a descriptive qualitative approach and literature study, it was found that the consistent application of Islamic values in the educational environment can be a moral fortress for students. This revitalization effort requires synergy between families, schools, and communities in internalizing Islamic values through role models, strengthening the curriculum, and using technology wisely. Thus, Islamic education has a vital role in shaping a generation that is spiritually, emotionally, and socially intelligent in the digital era.

Abstract

This article examines the reflection of the multicultural wisdom of coastal Muslim communities in Pangkalan Buton, West Kalimantan. This study adopts a phenomenological approach, utilizing data gathered through direct observation and in-depth interviews. The data analysis process encompasses collection, condensation, and presentation. The findings reveal that the taboos in Pangkalan Buton represent a fusion of Islamic teachings and local values. These taboos operate not exclusively as social norms but as a mechanism for preserving cultural identity in social changes. The community interprets Islam flexibly, adapting its principles to align with local culture and shaping behavioral patterns that foster social harmony. Consequently, taboos have become vital to daily life, striking a balance between religious beliefs and local traditions. The results indicate that many of these taboos correspond with Islamic teachings, illustrating a moderate approach to Islam that accommodates local wisdom. In Pangkalan Buton Village, Islam is accepted flexibly, integrating religious teachings with local customs to promote social harmony.

Abstract

Aplikasi toko online saat ini banyak digunakan untuk mempromosikan produk yang dijual dan menjadi salah satu media yang digunakan untuk jual beli produk. Produk yang dijual beragam dari produk pakai sampai produk konsumsi yang salah satunya merupakan jajan tradisional. Sistem Aplikasi Jamiko Pada Jajanan Tradisional Pengusaha Mikro Berbasis Android yang dapat memasarkan produk pengusaha mikro untuk mempromosikan produk dan jual beli produk secara digital, pembangunan aplikasi ini menggunakan android studio yang mudah dalam memperbaiki dan meng upgrade aplikasi. Dengan tujuan mengurangi tingkat pengangguran yang meningkat karena pandemi covid-19 di desa Sawahan serta berdampak pula pada tingkat minat pengusaha mikro meningkat pesat dan juga banyak pedagang baru yang menerapkan metode digital untuk memperkenalkan produknya sehingga untuk pengusaha mikro yang tidak mengerti akan cara memasarkan produk menggunakan media sosial ataupun digital mengalami kendala yang cukup serius yang dapat mengancam usaha mereka. Pengujian aplikasi menerapkan metode black box dengan hasil baik dan berjalan sesuai dengan perancangan yang dibuat. Berdasarkan hasil quesioner mencapai tingkat akurasi 87% dari pengguna aplikasi maka aplikasi tersebut tergolong baik dan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses produksi di PT. SAI dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi dan mengurangi pemborosan menggunakan pendekatan Lean Manufacturing, terutama melalui Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Data diambil dari bagian PPIC dan kepala produksi untuk menganalisis potensi risiko dan waste dalam produksi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat 12 subkriteria risiko yang diprioritas kan menggunakan SSIM, Reachability Matrix, Conical Matrix, dan MICMAC. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menerapkan FMEA untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keparahan, kemungkinan terjadi, serta deteksi risiko, menghasilkan Risk Priority Number (RPN). Rekomendasi perbaikan termasuk peningkatan komunikasi lintas departemen, pelatihan karyawan, dan penguatan kontrol kualitas. Penerapan VSM juga berhasil mengidentifikasi dan mengurangi pemborosan, meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dari 68,18% menjadi 86,21%, serta mengurangi waktu tunggu. Penelitian ini menyarankan strategi yang efektif untuk pengelolaan risiko dan peningkatan produktivitas di PT. SAI.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an merupakan sumber rujukan utama bagi umat Islam dalam berbagai persoalan, dari yang paling sederhana hingga yang paling kompleks. Dari urusan pribadi hingga kenegaraan, dari urusan ibadah hingga urusan muamalah. Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa Al-Qur’an merupakan rujukan yang menjadi panutan bagi umat Islam sedunia. Termasuk dalam persoalan peningkatan mutu pendidikan Islam dari perspektif Al-Qur’an, kajian ini mengkaji bagaimana Al-Qur’an menonjolkan mutu pendidikan Islam, ayat-ayat yang mewakili dipetakan berdasarkan surat dan kesesuaian tema, dielaborasi lebih lanjut yang benar-benar mewakili pembahasan, dieksplorasi menggunakan tafsir yang dilakukan oleh para mufassirin, yang memiliki wawasan dan hak prerogatif dalam menjelaskan makna dan maksud yang terkandung dalam Al-Qur’an. Kemudian dianalisa dengan kondisi kekinian yang dapat diaplikasikan di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Analisis menggunakan teori-teori tentang mutu pendidikan Islam yang diambil dari berbagai literatur, karya ilmiah dan jurnal yang memenuhi pembahasan atau judul-judul yang bersinggungan dengan tema yang dibahas oleh penulis. Dengan demikian, terlihat jelas betapa Al-Qur'an memberikan solusi terhadap segala aktivitas yang dilakukan manusia, menjadikannya sebagai landasan utama dan semakin mengukuhkan Al-Qur'an sebagai barometer yang tidak terbantahkan dalam setiap konsep dan ideologi yang mesti dijadikan landasan bagi segala macam permasalahan yang dihadapi umat manusia.

Abstract

Forest and land fires in West Kalimantan have become a serious issue with significant ecological and socio-economic consequences, including ecosystem degradation, increased carbon emissions that exacerbate climate change, and health crises caused by toxic haze. Despite government regulations prohibiting land clearing by burning, fires remain frequent, particularly in the palm oil plantation sector. This study aims to explore the potential integration of maqashid sharia-based green accounting as an innovative approach to enhance corporate accountability while supporting sustainable forest fire mitigation. Green accounting incorporates environmental impacts into financial statements, while maqashid sharia provides an ethical foundation for environmental responsibility. Employing a qualitative method with a literature review approach, this research identifies gaps in the application of green accounting within Indonesia’s forestry and plantation sectors. The findings suggest that integrating green accounting and maqashid sharia could offer a comprehensive solution to recurring fires. However, implementation is constrained by inadequate regulation and limited economic incentives for sustainability. This study contributes theoretically by bridging environmental accounting and Islamic ethics, and offers practical implications for policy development. The proposed conceptual model reinforces the role of value-based governance and Islamic ethical principles in advancing environmental accountability, particularly in regions vulnerable to ecological degradation such as West Kalimantan.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berupaya mengetahui pergumulan yang terjadi antara Agama dan Sains. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah: Hubungan antara Agama dan Sains mengalami ketegangan dan variasi didalamnya. Ketegangan yang terjadi antara Sains dan Agama disebabkan karena perbedaan perspektif yang digunakan untuk memahami realitas sebagai sumber pengetahuan manusia. Kalau sains mendekati persoalan eksistensi melalui observasi dan eksperimen, sedangkan agama membangun landasan epistemologinya berdasarkan wahyu. Pada abad 19 dan sebagian besar abad 20, gagasan yang dominan adalah sains dianggap mampu memecahkan seluruh persoalan manusia, namun faktanya sains juga telah melahirkan senjata-senjata pemusnah massal dan polusi lingkungan, termasuk merusak keseimbangan aspek spiritual dan material dalam kehidupan manusia. Belakangan muncul para ilmuwan teolog dari beberapa agama yang berupaya mencari jalan tengah untuk menyelesaikan problematika kemanusiaan dan alam dengan menjembatani carut marut hubungan sains dan agama yang tampaknya belum berakhir.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the application of constructivist theory in the learning process within the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at IAIN Pontianak and its impact on students' awareness of religious moderation. The research employs a library-based approach enriched by field investigations, including observation, interviews, and documentation. A descriptive method is used to analyze the implementation of constructivist theory in Islamic Religious education and its influence on students’ moderate attitudes. The findings indicate that constructivist-based learning not only enhances students’ theoretical understanding of religion but also fosters the development of moderate, inclusive, and tolerant attitudes toward diversity. By internalizing the values of moderate Islam, students are better equipped to resist extremist interpretations. The study concludes that the application of constructivist theory in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at IAIN Pontianak plays a significant role in cultivating students’ awareness of religious moderation, thereby preparing them to become educators who promote peace, tolerance, and social harmony.
