Abstract

The current rapid development of technology can facilitate all human activities, so that all aspects cannot be separated from technology, including the financial sector. With the development of technology, it is also accompanied by the introduction of various investment instruments. Every time you make an investment, of course there will always be various risks that come with it, including investing in cryptocurrencies, one of which is bitcoin. Unlike conventional currencies, bitcoin is not decentralized so that its price development is not under the supervision or control of any party, where as conventional money there is a certain institution that oversees and controls its movements. This causes the price of the exchange rate of bitcoin to be inconsistent or unstable. With the prediction method, bitcoin users can determine the right time to carry out transactions. This study aims to predict bitcoin prices using the LSTM and Bi-LSTM methods. Based on the research results, the best prediction results were obtained using the Bi-LSTM method with an RMSE of 1482.73 whereas with LSTM it produces an RMSE of 1768.69 so that it can be concluded from an accuracy perspective that Bi-LSTM gives more accurate results but with Bi-LSTM it requires more resources.

Abstract

This research addresses challenges in the Optical Distribution Point (ODP) in fiber optic networks, starting with identifying issues affecting network performance. The study emphasizes the importance of reliable ODPs in enhancing overall network efficiency. Through careful planning and evaluation, this research focuses on designing a two-compartment ODP system. The research findings highlight that robust ODPs positively impact network performance by improving signal quality, transmission speed, and overall reliability. The study also explores the economic feasibility of implementing this system, ensuring that the proposed ODP solution is not only technically superior but also cost-effective based on feedback from 360 respondents, stating that the 2-Compartment ODP device can reduce operational costs and network infrastructure maintenance. This research provides valuable insights into the field of optical fiber communication, laying the groundwork for future advancements in network planning and infrastructure, ultimately aiming to optimize the performance of fiber optic access networks.

Abstract

Aplikasi LMS (Learning Management System) pada salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta di Bali yaitu Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) mulai dikembangan sejak adanya kewajiban untuk melakukan pembelajaran secara daring saat pandemi COVID melanda, dan hingga saat ini penggunaan LMS Undiknas digunakan untuk menunjang implementasi dari proses pembelajaran jarak jauh agar dapat dilakukan secara digital. Salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan dari metode pembelajaran jarak jauh tersebut adalah terkait bagaimana memastikan bahwa mahasiswa telah paham dengan materi pembelajaran yang diberikan secara daring. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan tugas yang harus dikerjakan oleh mahasiswa. Namun, pemberian tugas melalui LMS juga dapat menjadi celah untuk mahasiswa melakukan kecurangan dengan kerap ditemukannya bahwa antar mahasiswa melakukan duplikasi jawaban tugas dari mahasiswa yang lain. Sehingga, dalam penelitian ini dilakukan upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan melakukan analisis fitur deteksi kemiripan dokumen tugas mahasiswa pada LMS Undiknas dengan metode K-Shingling dan Cosine Similarity agar dapat digunakan oleh dosen untuk mendeteksi persentase kemiripan dari dokumen pengumpulan tugas tiap mahasiswa. Berdasarkan tahap training dan tahap testing yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa pada rasio partisi data 70% (training) dan 30% (testing), deteksi kemiripan dokumen tugas mahasiswa dengan menggunakan preprocessing teks dan nilai parameter K = 9 pada metode KShingling diperoleh nilai akurasi sebesar 73,55% pada tahap testing yang menunjukkan performa dan tingkat keberhasilan sistem dalam melakukan deteksi kemiripan dokumen jawaban tugas mahasiswa, dan nilai akurasi pada tahap testing ini lebih tinggi 8.24% dibandingkan nilai akurasi pada tahap training. Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) mampu bertahan dan menjadi pemulih perekonomian di tengah keterpurukan akibat krisis moneter pada tahun 1997-1998 dan krisis ekonomi 2011. Hal ini tidak lepas dari peran UMKM bagi perkembangan perekonomian negara (Rahardjo, 2019). Pertumbuhan UMKM di Kota Malang tidak sesuai dengan pengetahuan dan pengelolaan keuangan usaha. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian oleh Sulistyowati (2017) mengukapkan bahwa terdapat permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM di Kota Malang seperti pencatatan keuangan sederhana, pembukuan, dan pemahaman laporan keuangan. Melihat kondisi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM di Kota Malang menujukkan masih dibutuhkan program keuangan seperti manajemen kas dan keuangan modal kerja bagi UMKM di Kota Malang. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan mengenai manajemen kas dan manajemen modal kerja pada UMKM di Kota Malang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mampu menumbuhkan kemampuan manajemen keuangan UMKM dalam membuat laporan keuangan dan menghitung modal usaha yang dibutuhkan.

Abstract

Pupuh is a basic of Tembang for someone that can later be used for further learning to a higher level that is Sekar Madya and Sekar Agung. Balinese culture is an important feature to determine the ethnicity identity of a group. Then it should be the Balinese use and preserve Pupuh that has been inherited by the ancestors. The media for Balinese Pupuh learning will be using an Android device with MFCC method. To attract the interest of young peoples to learn Balinese Pupuh, then this Balinese Pupuh learning system based-Android was created. This application will use the sound recorded by Android devices and sent to the Python server for systematic calculations, then returned to the Android devices and will get the correct or wrong answer which according to server calculation. By developing this Balinese Pupuh learning system, expected can help the teachers or Balinese language teachers to teach their students about Balinese Pupuh on a mobile and practical.

Abstract

The type of service that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants want when accessing work accident services is that good employee performance has increased the speed of service at work. For this reason, an intervention was implemented in the form of implementing ergonomics in the SMILE application to improve service speed, improve employee performance and reduce eye fatigue rates for Bali BPJS Ketenagakerjaan employees. This research was an experimental research with treatment by subject design, which involved 16 research samples. There were two periods, namely Period I work process without intervention and Period II work process with interventions in the form of implementing ergonomics in the SMILE application through to IEMAS application. The service speeds were measured with a stopwatch and employee performances were measured by performance questionnaires and eye fatigue. An eye fatigue questionnaire measured the data. Data analysis that uses a T-paired test with a value of ? 0.05 is for normally distributed data and Wilcoxon test is for data that is not normally distributed. Data obtained from the study results showed differences in employee performance with decreased eye fatigue and increased work comfort and service speed (p<0.05). Improved employee performance indicated the results of research in which there was a decrease in eye fatigue in employees by 8.77%, an increase in work comfort by 12.05% and service speed by 89.1%. It can be concluded that the implementation of the SMILE application reduces the rate of eye fatigue and increases the comfort of the work of employees, resulting in the speed of employee services to participants BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in Bali

Abstract

Tri Pramana as the local genius of Balinese society, is now adopted in the education system. This adaptation results in a Learning Cycle Model which essentially consists of three classes namely Sabda Pramana (theoretical study), Pratyaksa Pramana (direct observation), and Anumana Pramana (practicum). In learning activities, it is difficult for educators to fully observe individuals to find out the most suitable learning model. Through Virtual Environment Technology, educators can observe students more freely through the recording of students' activities. However, in its implementation, manual analysis requires large resources. Deep Learning approach based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is able to automate this analysis process through the classification ability of the image of the recorded learner activity. To produce a robust CNN model, this research compares four of the most commonly used architectures, namely ResNet-50, MobileNetV2, InceptionV3, and Xception. Each architecture is tuned using a combination of learning rate and batch size. Through a 512 x 512 resolution dataset with 70% training subset (4,541 images), 20% validation (1,296 images), and 10% test (652 images), the best ResNet model is obtained with a learning rate configuration of 1e-3 and batch size 64 with an accuracy of 99.39%, precision of 99.37%, and recall of 99.42%.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi Deep Learning khususnya teknologi pengenalan gambar merupakan suatu media yang tepat digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi citra digital. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan klasifikasi citra jajanan khas Bali dengan mencari model terbaik dari arsitektur VGG-16 dengan melakukan perbandingan tingkat akurasi, recall, precission dan f1-score dari skenario pengujian yaitu bobot dropout, jumlah batch size dan jumlah epoch yang digunakan. Dataset training yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2.445 data citra jajanan khas Bali dengan total kelas sebanyak 10 kelas yaitu Klepon 320 citra, Laklak 207 citra, Kaliadrem 222 citra, Jaje Lukis 327 citra, Jaje Batun Bedil 189 citra, Pisang Rai 200 citra, Jaje Piling-piling 234 citra, Jaje Wajik 241 citra, Ongol-ongol 308 citra dan Bubur Injin 197 citra. Dataset sebanyak 50 data citra jajanan khas Bali pada setiap kelasnya dengan jumlah total 500 data citra. Model terbaik yang didapatkan dari arsitektur VGG-16 dalam melakukan klasifikasi jajanan khas Bali yaitu dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 97,5%, presisi 87,9%, recall 87% serta f1-score sebesar 87,4% dengan parameter pengujian dropout 20%, batch size 64 serta epoch 1000 pada data citra uji diluar data pelatihan dan validasi.

Abstract

The transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) towards economic sustainability focusing on cost efficiency is a major need for the emerging pressures in the changing global business environment. The implementation of management accounting practices is expected to improve business sustainability, as it can provide a variety of tools, techniques and valuable internal information including for budgeting, profit planning and performance evaluation. Management accounting practices are also shaped by management accounting information systems. This study contributes to the development of current management accounting practices and the impact of organizational DNA and strategic priorities on management accounting practices in East Java Province, with contingency theory as the underlying theory. This study shows that SMEs in East Java have adopted management accounting practices. The results of data analysis show that organizational DNA, especially organizational culture and management system, determines SME entrepreneurs to implement management accounting practices while strategic priorities have no effect on management accounting practices.   Abstrak Transformasi usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) menuju keberlanjutan ekonomi yang berfokus pada efisiensi biaya merupakan kebutuhan utama atas munculnya tekanan dalam perubahan lingkungan bisnis global. Implementasi praktik akuntansi manajemen diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keberlanjutan bisnis, karena dapat menyediakan berbagai alat, teknik dan informasi internal yang berharga termasuk untuk penganggaran, pe­rencanaan laba dan evaluasi kinerja. Praktik akuntansi manajemen juga di­bentuk oleh sistem informasi akuntansi manajemen. Penelitian ini berkon­tribusi pada pengembangan praktik akuntansi manajemen saat ini dan dampak dari DNA organisasi dan prioritas strategi pada praktik akuntansi manajemen di Provinsi Jawa Timur, dengan teori kontingensi sebagai teori dasar. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa UKM di Jawa Timur telah mengadopsi praktik akuntansi manajemen. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa DNA organisasi khususnya budaya organisasi dan sistem menajemen men­jadi penentu pengusaha UKM untuk mengimplementasi praktik akuntansi manajemen sedangkan prioritas strategi tidak berpengaruh terhadap prak­tik akuntansi manajemen.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is a review analysis process used to determine whether an opinion is neutral, negative, or positive. Sentiment analysis can be done using lexicon-based or machine learning-based approaches. Lexicon can perform sentiment analysis without training data because it is dictionary-based but performs worse than machine learning. Machine learning can perform well in completing sentiment analysis but requires training data so that the model does not experience underfitting. In the case of sentiment analysis on big data, manual labeling of training data is an inefficient job. Support vector machine (SVM) has the opportunity to be used together with the active learning (AL) method to make small training data but still have good performance. This research proposed a hybrid lexicon and AL-SVM method to complete sentiment analysis on big data tourism. This research used polarity from the valence aware dictionary and sentiment reasoner (VADER) lexicon as a reference for the query by user process from the AL-SVM to automate the sentiment analysis process on big data. The experimental results showed that using the hybrid lexicon and AL-SVM increased the sentiment analysis performance compared to the VADER lexicon, SVM, and lexicon SVM, which run separately.
