Suprih Danurwati, 942013161. Implementation of supervision class visiting to increase teacherâs performance of SD Negeri 2 Kalimanggis District of Kaloran.Â Thesis. The graduatiton Program Master of Management Education Satya WacanaÂ Christian University Salatiga. Supervisor Prof. Dr. Slameto, M.Pd. This study is to determine that through the implementation of supervision class visiting can improve the performance of teachers in the learning management. TheÂ subjects of this study are teachers in SD Negeri 2 Kalimanggis, Kaloran, Temanggung. Â The procedure used in this study consists of a series of three main activities undertakenÂ in a repeating cycle, including (a) plan, (b) action by observation, and (c) reflection.Â research approach using action research methods, while the method of data collectionÂ using the study documentation, observations, questionnaires, and interviews. TheÂ results showed an increasing in the ability of teachers to prepare lesson plans andÂ manage the learning of the first act, second, until the third act. The inference thatÂ supervision class visiting that can improve the performance of teachers in the learningÂ management. Suggestions given to teachers, is takingÂ advantage of supervisionÂ activities as a source of information to improve the competence and performance,Â for principals use the results of this study as a reference in conducting research, while for school superintendent will use the results of this study as one of the referencesÂ in activity guidance to the heads of schools and teachers to improve their performance.

This study is an experimental research with using pretest and posttest control groupÂ design. The aimed of the study were: 1). To know the differences significant of teacherâsÂ mastery of pedagogical competences between teachers clinical supervised in SMAÂ Kristen YPKPM Ammbon and non-supervised teachers in SMA Kartika XIII-I Ambon,Â 2). To determine how the the clinical supervision influenced the teachersâ mastery ofÂ pedagogical competences. The data was collected by using observation towardÂ teaching profile competence from Wasserman and Egert. Data analyzed using t testÂ comparative and linear regression analysis. The result of the study was the coefficientÂ t test was 4,184 with significant 0,001 < 0,05. It proved that there was a differenceÂ between supervision and non-supervision teachers significantly. The clinicalÂ supervision has influence about 41,9% on teachers pedagogical competences.

SUPERVISI PENDIDIKAN OLEH PENGAWAS SEKOLAH Slameto, Slameto

The problem in this research was related to the effectiveness of supervision programs implemented by the school superintendent and formulated by: 1) What were the steps supervision was conducted by a school supervisor? 2) How were the results of supervision for teachers in improving the quality of education? 3) What were the constraints and any supporting factors faced by school inspectors in carrying out its duties and functions? This study used a study document on the results of previous studies. The data collected by searching through Google Scholar journal. From the search results obtained by 26 then selected to obtain 9 journals which fill in criteria needed. From these 9 journals then conducted a meta-analysis. The results related to measures of supervision performed by school inspectors programmed, structured attention to the vision, mission and goals of partner schools and their regulations: include academic supervision carried out by applying the techniques of individuals and groups. Evaluation results were obtained surveillance program varies, ranging from moderate to attribute positive results. Evaluation of the implementation of supervision was ranged from the low category to very well performance. The evaluations toward the result supervision were also varying from low category, moderate to perform effectively. Constraints faced by school inspectors in carrying out their duties and functions to be involved in external conditions and internal inspectors concerned.

The study aimed to evaluate certified teachers performance in Temanggung regency district of Gugus Mangga. This study was evalitative research using qualitative dessciptive approach. Subject of this research are teachers, principals and supervisors. Data were collected through interview, observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that performance of certified teachers in planning aspect of learning and evaluation is in good category. While the performance of certified teachers in presentation and capacity building is in the less than good category. The recommendation given for teachers in preparing lesson plan (RPP) should included aspect of communication and information technologies and also followed by the development of activities. Recommendation for schools is organizing textbooks procurement so that students can have a good process of learning. Recommendation for regional government is to provide assistance of textbooks procurement for schools which has not enough textbook. Besides that the education office recommended to make self-development program for teachers in order to develop and improve the quality of education.

The aim of this study is to see the shape of the model of impact school coaching management. This study is Research and Development (R & D). Data collection use interviewed, documentation, and Focus Group Discussion. The development phase is carried out through: (1) preliminary study, (2) arrangement model, (3) validation by expert from academic and also practitioner, (4) revision of product design and (5) proper model of coaching is tested. Data analysis conducted during in the field with the steps of data reduction, data display, and image/verification conclusions. The results showed that running coaching is difficult to finish. In addition, there is no structured and systematic planning, causing the implementation of coaching run by chance, depend on the demand from the school. There is no evaluation program for the coaching itself. The product of this study is coaching model Adiwiyata school impact base on participation that completed. Based on the feasibility result test conducted by experts and practitioners, the model is considered feasible to be tested by practitioners.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the instructional, institutional, and behavioral dimensions of the In-House Training (IHT) program at the SD Muhammadiyah (Plus) Salatiga Academic Year 2013/2014. This is an evaluative study with Three Dimensional Cube Model. Data collection techniques used interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. Collected data then analyzed descriptively, ordinal data were analyzed using Three Box Method. Validation of data using technique and/or source triangulation. The results showed: (1) In the instructional dimension including organization, content/material, methodology, facilities, and cost included in good category, although there is little improvement in adjusting method with program objectives; (2) In the institutional dimension that includes speakers, trainees, administrator/committees, education specialists, families, and communities are included in either category, although there is still need for improvement in terms of needs analysis in terms of the needs of teachers; (3) In the behavioral dimension that is the goal of the IHT program and is divided into the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains almost all have been achieved well, although there is one goal in the psychomotor realm that has not been achieved well because one goal is not a priority to be achieved in time of three years. Recommendations for program sustainability, programs can be continued with improvements.

Early childhood education (PAUD) is an education at the level prior to the primary education that has a very important role in preparing future generations. One of the activities undertaken in an effort to improve the professionalism of early childhood education teachers is supervized by supervisors and principals. However, the academic supervision approach used currently is not in accordance with the needs of the early childhood education teachers. This study aims to (1) describe and analyze the current supervision model in Semarang Municipality; (2) describe and analyze the hypothetical model of collaborative supervision for PAUD teachers. This study uses a modified vrsion of Borg and Gallâs research and development (R & D) approach. The subjects of this research were PAUD supervisor and principal as well as PAUD teacher in Semarang Municipality. Data were drawn using interview techniques, questionnaires, documentation, and forum group discussions (FGD). The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique which included an analysis of the experts and practitionersâ validation sheets. The preliminary study yielded a factual model which shows that the supervision carried out by the PAUD supervisor has not been routine; the supervision program that he/she created is still a combination of kindergarten and elementary school programs; there has been no collaboration between supervisor and teacher; the results of the supervision have not been discussed with the teacher; there has been no follow up to the results of supervision. The conceptual model in this study was designed in accordance with the collaborative academic supervision theory that there is an agreement between supervisor and teacher therough which the supervision stages included planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow up. The results of the model development include the addition of the follow-up stage that includes monitoring the results of the supervision and guidance on a regular basis to improve the professionalism of the PAUD teachers.

Along with the advancement and the changing of times, the quality of learning process becomes a demand that must be achieved.The learning process implemented should be student centred so as to improve the quality of education. In order to achieve meaningful learning process, the scientific approach is appliedso that the learners can find their own concepts in learning by the guidance of theirteacher. The teacher only holds a role as a facilitator in learning. Along with the spiritof the governmentin applying the scientific approach in the 2013 curriculum, it is still questionable whetherthe scientific approach implementation will have an impact on improving learning outcomes or not. The documents of previous studies are used in this study. The data collection is obtained through google scholar by browsing the electronic journals. From the search results obtained, 10 research journals areanalysed further in the form of percentage (%). Based on the results of the analysis, the scientific approach is able to improve learning outcomes, ranging from the lowest 2% to the highest 34,51% with an average of 23,35%.

Media pembelajaran adalah sarana untuk menyampaikan materi dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajran berupa multimedia interaktif untuk mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian R and D dengan menggunakan model desain pengembangan ADDIE dengan subjek uji coba yaitu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 01 Salatiga. Pembuatan media interaktif ini memanfaatkan aplikasi Adobe Flash Pro CS 5.5. Multimedia interaktif ini terbukti efektif dilihat dari peningkatan hasil nilai, dari nilai pretest yang mencapai KKM hanya 7.5% meningkat menjadi 100% pada nilai posttest. Multimedia interaktif ini membuat siswa lebih antusias dan mudah memahami materi.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas 5 pada mata pelajaran IPS di SD Negeri Gilirejo Kecamatan Wonosegoro, Kabupaten Boyolali dengan model PBL (Problem Based LearningI) yang berbantukan Role Playing. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam 2 siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket untuk mengukur motivasi siswa dan soal tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Tekhik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tehknik deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran PBL berbantu Role Playing motivasi siswa meningkat; 2) demikian juga hasil belajar IPS mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II.
