Abstract

This study aims to determine the transformation of the Dayah Salafiyah curriculum in Aceh with the research parameter being Dayah Salafiyah MUDI Mesra Samalanga. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, which studies in depth and holistically with the type of field research and uses socio-phenomenological and humanism approaches. This research is process-oriented, which has natural characteristics as a direct data source. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The validity of the data was checked by using the method and source triangulation technique. While the data analysis technique used is a qualitative inductive analysis technique. The results showed that the curriculum at Dayah MUDI Mesra Samalanga had several components, including: knowledge content objectives, learning experiences, strategies and evaluations. The components of these goals are divided into several levels, namely national educational goals, institutional goals, curricular goals, and instructional goals. The method and education process consists of three levels, namely: Tajhizi, `Aliyah, and Takhassus. Changes in learning materials that have been made have had a very broad impact on the learning process in Dayah in general. Meanwhile, the transformation of learning methods includes two models, namely adaptation and adoption. In addition, in the process of integrating general material and religious material, Dayah is still looking for a new format that is able to accommodate religious knowledge as well as general knowledge, traditionality as well as modernity.

Abstract

Language is a very interesting object to talk about. Until now experts have never finished talking about it. In the context of language, students are expected to be able to understand the meaning of ideas (ideational functions), namely the function of language to express or construct ideas or information that they hear. West Aceh High School 1 is one of the Upper Middle School in West Aceh Regency which in the process of teaching and learning activities also provides one subject of local content, namely Arabic. Based on the results of the study realized by the existence of several significant things in realizing the implementation of learning that leads to the effectiveness of learning to improve the quality of learning. Planning and implementation of Curriculum 2013-based Arabic language learning at SMAN 1 West Aceh contributes discourse and achievements in moving to school autonomy in following the development of globalization that is increasingly evident. The first step in the form of planning and implementing Arabic learning in this school is that with the positioning of Arabic language subjects in the curriculum as a curricular goal in Arabic learning programs. Hierarchically, these Arabic subjects include local content subjects that must be accepted by West Aceh 1 High School students. So that the standard of Arabic Language competency is determined by the school based on its needs by not denying the content standards according to the applicable National Education Standards. The effectiveness includes processes and results. With regard to effectiveness in this process the school has been quite good in fulfilling the 2013 curriculum standards applied in learning Arabic in SMAN 1 Aceh Barat

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the thoughts of Ibn Sahnun's Islamic education, which was critically analyzed related to teaching methods in Islamic Elementary Schools. Islamic Elementary Schools are essentially schools that implement the concept of Islamic education based on the Qur'an and Sunnah. The operational idea of Islamic Elementary School is an accumulation of the process of civilizing, inheriting, and developing Islamic teachings, culture, and civilization from generation to generation. Ibn Sahnun's thoughts on education have been mentioned, among others, in his book Adab al-Mu'allimin. This book has become a maestro and reference for many scholars. It is considered the first book to discuss education separately from other branches of science, such as schools and philosophy. Ibn Sahnun's educational concept consists of two parts; The first is compulsory education, and the second is non-binding or voluntary education. Ibn Sahnun's thoughts in the education field were complete and programmed, especially for classical times, because only a few figures were engaged in the field of education at that time. We can find some things that are still relevant today from these concepts.

Abstract

This study used a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 400 students in SMPN 1 Unggul Sukamakmur, while the number of teachers teaching Islamic education subject was 5 people. Since the population was too large, the objects of research were 5 Islamic education teachers, 40 students (10% of the population), and the principal of SMP N 1 Unggul Sukamakmur. Based on the results of interviews with Islamic education teachers, the researchers could see that they have been familiar and mastered the "Application of the Wahdah method." However, the teachers have not applied all the Wahdah theories entirely. In table 4.5, students applying Wahdah's methods were 95%. Table 4. 6 showed other methods used in addition to memorizing Qur'an. The memorization method was 90%, and the recitation or Tilawah method was 10%. Table 4. 7 showed how many times a week, the students learned the Qur'an using the Wahdah method, and the answer 100% was four times a week.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kapasitas dan peran orang tua dalam mendisiplikan pembelajaran anak dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pemilihan subjek penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik purposif sampling yaitu berjumlah 6 orang tua anak ibu dan anak, dua guru di PAUD Bustanul Nurul Ummi. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dilengkapi dengan daftar pertanyaan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Orang tua/ parent merupakan kunci utama dalam penerapan kedisiplinan pembelajaran anak sejak usia dini. Orang tua memiliki peranan dalam lingkungan keluarga, dan tidak dapat diberikan kepada lembaga pendidikan

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pembinaan dan pengembangan Madrasah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, sehingga mampu berperan sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang memenuhi dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat serta mampu berpacu dengan sekolah-sekolah umum dalam rangka mencapai tujuan Pendidikan Nasional. Pembangunan Nasional di bidang pendidikan merupakan suatu upaya mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan meningkatkan kualitas manusia Indonesia, guna mewujudkan masyarakat yang maju, adil dan makmur, serta memungkinkan setiap warga negaranya mengembangkan diri, baik dalam aspek jasmaniah maupun rohaniah berdasarkan falsafah Pancasila. Peranan pendidikan di dalam kehidupan manusia, terlebih dalam zaman modern ini diakui atau sebagai satu kesatuan yang menentukan prestasi dan produktivitas seseorang. Salah satu pendidikan formal yang ada di Indonesia adalah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Menurut Surat Keputusan Bersama 3 Menteri. Usaha peningkatan mutu Madrasah dan usaha maju kesatuan sistem pendidikan nasional dalam rangka pembinaan semakin ditingkatkan. Hal ini terbukti pada tahun 1975 dikeluarkan Surat Keputusan Bersama (SKB) 3 Menteri yakni antara Menteri Dalam Negeri, Menteri Agama, dan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan.

Abstract

The development of interactive e-books based on differentiation is undertaken due to the unavailability of digital learning resources, diverse learning styles among students, and a classroom environment that does not accommodate differentiated learning. The research aims to produce digital learning resources (product feasibility) and assess their effectiveness (benefits) in supporting the process of differentiated learning. The resulting product is named “E-Bid”, which is in e-Pub format, accessible on laptops, PC, and tablets, preferably connected to the internet. The research follows the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection methods used include tests and questionnaires. During the testing phase, two media and subject matter experts were involved. This was followed by a limited trial involving 10 fifth-grade students from Gla Meunasah Baro Elementary School to assess the level of appropriateness and usefulness of the learning outcomes in terms of differentiated learning on the topics of Hajj and Sacrifice (Kurban). The trial results showed that the product’s feasibility was rated highly, with scores of 3.44 (very feasible) from the subject matter expert and 3.57 (very feasible) from the media expert. Furthermore, the small group test received a score of 3.69 (very feasible). The assessment of the product’s benefits yielded a pre-test score of 54.3, a post-test score of 87.7, and a gain score of 33.40, indicating a highly beneficial outcome (very feasible category).

Abstract

Educating children in the 21st century is different from it was in the 20st century. Parents in this era face challenges because it is impossible for their children to be away from the Internet and social media. Children become asocial because of their addiction to gadgets and the Internet. However, from the Internet, they may learn different new things that allow them to get information faster than their parents do. Parents must certainly adapt to this change in educating their children so that they are not distracted by the negative effects of incorrect education caused by technological advancements. The purpose of this study is to promote some of the important knowledge that parents must have to educate their children in this century, aside from religious knowledge, as the primary foundation of upbringing in Muslim families. This research undertakes a thorough examination of scholarly work on Islamic education for children and contemporary studies on children's learning in the 21st century. After scrutinizing a range of literature, the researchers identified several pertinent references for this investigation. The results of this study elucidate that in order to effectively nurture their children in the contemporary era, parents are required to possess a profound understanding of Islamic principles alongside a continuous commitment to enhance their comprehension in diverse fields such as parenting techniques, information technology, psychology, and communication strategies.

Abstract

Reading comprehension requires linguistic proficiency and the capacity to understand and interpret cultural elements embedded in the texts. However, many EFL students struggle with cross-cultural competence, affecting their comprehension of diverse reading materials. This study investigates the effectiveness of digital shared reading in enhancing both reading comprehension and cross-cultural competence among junior high school students in Indonesia. Employing a pre-experimental pre-test post-test design, the study involved 34 students in a structured digital shared reading intervention. Data were collected through reading comprehension tests and the Cultural Intelligence Scale (CQ) by Ang and Dyne. The results, analyzed using paired sample t-tests, indicated a statistically significant improvement in reading comprehension (t = -10.539, p = .000) and cross-cultural competence (t = -14.457, p = .000) after the intervention. These findings demonstrate the potential of digital shared reading as an effective pedagogical tool to foster cross-cultural awareness and enhance reading comprehension in EFL settings. This study contributes to educational research by showcasing how digital literacy and cultural exposure can be integrated into language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to find the role of the principal in preventing bullying at MAS Darul Ihsan. The purpose of this bullying study is to find out the bullying that occurs at MAS Darul Ihsan. The purpose of the study is to find out the principal's leadership in preventing bullying at MAS Darul Ihsan. This research method uses a qualitative approach by means of observation, interviews and documentation of the object of research study regarding the prevention of bullying at MAS Darul Ihsan. The results of the study showed that the handling carried out by the principal and stakeholders by providing an understanding to children to respect the rights of others, then children are taught to control their emotions in order to avoid (take preventive actions) to prevent bullying. Other prevention is carried out by making regulations regarding punishment when bullying occurs which has been carried out since the beginning of entering as a student at Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar
