Abstract

The research was aimed to find the influence of internet accessing intensity to learning achievement in ecosystem concept. The samples were students of SMA Persada with saturated sampling technique. The qualitative data was intensity of accessing internet were obtained from questionnaire. Both of data were examined by normality data test and simly linier regression test then analyzed statistics used SPSS program 17 version. The result showed that average of student having the intensity of accessing internet was high with the learning achievement which was medium (47,2%), with R2(0,29) meaning that the students succes of learning biology achievement determined by the intensity of accessing internet which was 29% whereas 71% explained by another factor or variable. So, the intensity of accessing internet affected the increasing of students learning achievement in ecosystem consept. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara intensitas mengakses internet terhadap hasil belajar pada konsep ekosistem, objek yang digunakan seluruh siswa kelas X di SMA Persada dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Data kuantitatif berupa skor hasil belajar aspek kognitif siswa yang diperoleh dari nilai tes. Data kualitatif berupa intensitas mengakes internet diperoleh dari angket. Kedua data diuji dengan uji normalitas data dan uji regresi linier sederhana kemudian dianalisis secara statistik dengan program SPSS versi 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata siswa memiliki intensitas mengakses internet tinggi dengan hasil belajar sedang (47,2 %), dengan R (0,29) diartikan bahwa keberhasilan siswa dalam pencapaian hasil belajar biologi ditentukan oleh intensitas mengakses internet sebesar (29%), sedangkan sisanya 71% dijelaskan oleh faktor atau variabel lain. Dengan demikian, intensitas mengakses internet berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Ekosistem.Kata Kunci: ekosistem, hasil belajar, intensitas mengakses internet

Abstract

The studys aim were to find the characteristics of learnig style, the different based on gender and the correlation with science learning achievement. This study was descriptive. Samples were 318 of 64% VII grade students in Labuhan Ratu, that using purposive sampling. Research data were laerning style and learning achievement that were obtained from questionnaires and tests. Data were analyzed descriptively and statistically using Mann Whitney U different test and Kendalls Tau correlation test. As a result, there are three learning styles was visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The dominant learning styles of the students was auditory. The difference between learning styles and gender was not significant and the correlation between learning styles to learning achievement was low level of the relationship "low".Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan bagaimana gaya belajardan perbedaannya antar gender serta korelasional dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP di Sekecamatan Labuhan Ratu. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII dengan purposive sampling berjumlah 318 siswa. Data kualitatif berupa gaya belajar yang diperoleh dari skor jawaban angket siswa yang dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif dan data kuantitatif berupa data hasil belajar, untuk mengetahui hubungan gaya belajar dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan uji statistik menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U dan uji Korelasi Kendalls Tau. Hasilnya, terdapat tiga gaya belajar yaitu visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik. Gaya belajar yang dominan dimiliki siswa adalah auditorial. Gaya belajar antar gender perbedaannya tidak signifikan dan korelasi antara gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar dengan tingkat keeratan hubungan rendah.Kata kunci: gaya belajar, gender, hasil belajar

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of Jigsawlearning model to students' teamwork skills and learning outcomes of cognitive aspects which the design was pretest posttest for non equivalent groups. The samples were students of XI IPA2 and XI IPA3 which were selected by purposive sampling. The qualitative data was the average score of students' teamwork skills that were analyzed descriptively. The quantitative data were obtained from average score of pretest, posttest, and N-gain then analyzed using t-test and U test. The results showed that the students had an average score of teamwork skills with good criteria (75.00). Students learning outcomes increased with an average N-gain (60.43). Thus, Jigsaw learning model influence in improving students teamwork skills and learning outcomesat human immune system subject matter.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan kerjasama dan hasil belajar aspek kognitif siswa dengan desain pretes-postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA2 dan XI IPA3 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kualitatif berupa rata-rata nilai kemampuan kerjasama siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes dan N-gain, kemudian dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t dan uji U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata siswa memiliki kemampuan kerjasama dengan kriteria baik (75.00). Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, dengan rata-rata N-gain (60.43). Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kerjasama dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Sistem Pertahanan Tubuh Manusia.Kata kunci :hasil belajar siswa, kemampuan kerjasamasiswa, model Jigsaw, sistem pertahanan tubuh manusia

Abstract

This study was aimed to find out the using of cooperative learning model think pair share (TPS) toward students learning activities and conceptual understanding. This study design was pretest-posttest non equivalent group. Samples were students from class VIII A and VIII C SMP N 1 Banjit Way Kanan selected by purposive sampling. The quantitative data ware obtained from the average of pretest-posttest and N-gain that were analyzed using U test. The qualitative data were description of learning activities and students' questionnaire responses. The study results showed that TPS can improved students conceptual understanding with the average N-gain is 60,45. Activity of teamwork, persentation, and express of ideas were increasedwith an average 60,45%. N-gain average of C1 is 60,21%, C2 is 67,57% C3 is 82,41% and C4 is 70,51%. Thus, using TPS learning model can increased students learning activities and conceptual understanding.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model pembelajaran TPS terhadap aktivitas dan penguasaan konsep oleh siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes posttes non ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII C SMP N 1 Banjit Way Kanan yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretest-posttes dan N-gain yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa deskripsi aktivitas belajar dan tanggapan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan TPS meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa secara signifikan dengan rata-rata N-gain 60,45. Aktivitas bekerjasama, presentasi, dan mengemukakan ide/pendapat mengalami peningkatan memperoleh rata-rata 78,87%. Rata-rata N-gain pada indikator C1 yaitu 60,21%, C2 yaitu 67,57% C3 yaitu 82,41% dan C4 yaitu 70,51%. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran mengguna-kan model TPS pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan aktivitas dan penguasaan konsep oleh siswa.Kata kunci : penguasaan konsep, tahapan perkembangan manusia, TPS

Abstract

The aims of this research were to know significance and direction of relation between knowledge about environmental pollution and climate change with student's caring attitude, and the amount of contribution indicated between the variables. The method of this research was correlational study. The subjects of the study were students of VIII grade of SMP Negeri Bandar Lampung taken by cluster random sampling technique with the number of 86 students. Data of knowledge about environmental pollution and climate change took by multiple choice test and data of environmental care attitude took by questionnaire. Technique of data analysis using the method of a simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between the variables shown by Sig value. 0.001 0.05; positive relationship between the variables shown through regression equation that is Y=56,630+0,258X; and there was very low contribution of knowledge to the attitude shown by the coefficient of determination of 12%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi dan arah hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang pencemaran lingkungan dan perubahan iklim dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa, serta besarnya kontribusi yang ditunjukan antarvariabel. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling dengan jumlah 86 siswa. Data pengetahuan tentang pencemaran lingkungan dan perubahan iklim diambil menggunakan tes pilihan jamak sedangkan data sikap peduli lingkungan diambil menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisa data menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antarvariabel yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai Sig. 0,0010,05; terdapat hubungan positif antarvariabel yang ditunjukkan melalui persamaan regresi yaitu Y=56,630+0,258X; dan terdapat kontribusi yang sangat rendah antara pengetahuan terhadap sikap yang ditunjukkan oleh koefesien determinansi sebesar 12%.Kata kunci: pengetahuan, pencemaran lingkungan, perubahan iklim, sikap peduli lingkungan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Project Based Learning on self-efficacy and the ability to think creatively. The study design used non-equivalent pretest-posttes. The samples in the study were VIIH class as a control class and VIIE class as an experiment. Data on self-efficacy were obtained through a scale that were analyzed qualitatively. The ability of creative thingking obtained from the pretest, posttest and assessment of creative products which were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test. The results of the study showed that the ability creative thingking in the experimental class was is "High". The experimental class on Self-efficacy assesment was higher than the control class with the highest indicator that was social with result on "High" while in the control class that on  "Medium". Thus, the application of the Project Based Learning model has an effect on increasing the self-efficacy and creative thinking abilities of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh Project Based Learning terhadap self-efficacy dan kemampuan berpikir kratif. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttes non-equivalen. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu kelas VIIH sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIIE sebagai eksperimen dengan Purposive Sampling. Data self-efficacy diperoleh melalui skala yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif diperoleh dari pretes, postest dan penilaian produk kreatif yang dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa katagori kemampuan berpikir kreatif kelas eksperimen adalah “Tinggi”. Penilaian diri self-efficacy kelas eksperimen juga lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol dengan indikator tertinggi yaitu sosial pada kelas eksperimen yaitu “Tinggi” sedangkan pada kelas kontrol yaitu “Sedang”. Dengan demikian bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan self-efficacy dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir kreatif, project based learning, self-efficacy

Abstract

Problem-solving skill is a thinking skill that must be developed in junior high school. Classroom observations from VII grade Junior High School 2 Waylima shows that problem-solving skill is still low. This study aimed to determine the effect of PBL models in improving problem solving skill. This study design is non equivalent pretest posttest group. Samples was VIIID and VIIIE grades selected by purposive sampling. This research data in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data obtained from the average value of pretest, posttest and N-gain was analyzed using t-test and U test. Qualitative data in the form of descriptions of student learning activities, and questionnaire responses. The results showed that PBL model can improve problem-solving skill by students with average score of pretest (50.64); posttest (75.32), and N-gain (0,50). Learning activity also increase with an average of 86.45%. In addition, most students responded positively with used of PBL models. Thus, it can be concluded that the used of PBL model significantly affect problem-solving skill in the influence of human population density toward evironment subject matter. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of problem based learning model on students creative thinking skill in effect of human population density on environment subject matter which was held in SMP N 12 Bandar Lampung and sample were class VIIh and VIIi. Design of this research was quasi experiment with non equivalent pretest-postest. Quantitative data were KBK that obtained from pretest, postest and N-gain that were analyzed using t-test and u-test. Qualitative data was the result of students' activity and also students' response that were anlyzed descriptively. Creative thinking skill was included fluency and flexibillity. Gain of creative thinking skill average on experimental is 67,06% and control class is 56,24%. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that problem based learning model can influence the creative thinking skill in effect of human population density on environment subject matter.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi pengaruh kepadatan populasi manusia terhadap lingkungan di SMP N 12 Bandar Lampung dengan sampel penelitian kelas VIIh dan VIIi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-postest non equivalen. Data kuantitatif berupa KBK yang diperoleh dari pretest, postest, dan N-gain yang dianalisis dengan uji t dan uji U serta data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar dan tanggapan siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam hal ini meliputi fluency dan fleksibillity dengan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada kelas eksperimen (67,06%) dan kelas kontrol (56,24%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada materi pengaruh kepadatan populasi manusia terhadap lingkungan.Kata kunci: aktivitas siswa, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, problem based learning

Abstract

The research objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of the interactive e-book on students critical thinking skills improvement in the subject matter of human digestion system. The research design wasquasi experiment with the matching-only pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted at two classes of 8th grade students at Al Kautsar Middle School, Bandar Lampung. Result showed that the interactive e-book was feasible to be used as learning material.This was indicated by responses of the teacher toward the product were 100% on the subject mattercompatibility, 84% on attractiveness, and 88% on language aspect. The e-book also gained high responses from the student namely90% on readability, 94% on attractiveness, and 90% on understandability.The n-gain value of experimental class (0.54) was significantly higher than that of control class (0.27). The effectiveness of learning using the interactive e-book was shown by the n-gain value of 0.54. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas e-book interaktif dalam menumbuhkembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia.Disain penelitian ini termasuk eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan rancangan the matching-only pretest-posttest control group design. Subyek penelitian adalah dua kelas VIII di SMP Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-book interaktif yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar. Hal ini terlihat dari rata-rata respon guru terhadap produk adalah 100% untuk aspek kesesuain isi materi, 84% aspek kemenarikan, dan 88% aspek bahasa.E-book yang dikembangkan mendapat respon tinggi dari siswa yaitu sebesar 90% untuk aspek kemudahan, 94% aspek kemenarikan,dan 90% aspek keterpahaman.Nilai n-gain keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen (0,54) secara nyata lebih tinggi (Sig. 0,00) dibandingkan dengan nilai n-gain siswa kelas kontrol (0,27). Efektivitas pembelajaran menggunakan e-book interaktif ditunjukkan olehskor n-gain sebesar 0,54.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, e-book interaktif, sistem pencernaan manusia

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the influence of using NHT model in improving student learning activity and material mastery. The research design was pretest-post test non equivalent group. The research samples were XI IPA1 and XI IPA2 was chosen by purposive sampling. The qualitative data were gotten by student learning activity observation sheet and student responses questionnaire, that were analyzed descriptively. The quantitative data was the test value average, that was analyzed by t-test and U-test. The result showed that the learning activity average improved by well criteria (78.89) with each percentage were forming groups (92.22), give ideas or opinions (83.33), answer questions (77.78), and responding answers (62.22). The material mastery improve with N-gain average score (63.16). The most of student also responded positively to the NHT model application. Thus, the using of NHT model was influenced to improve the student learning activity and material mastery of immune system significantly. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model NHT dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi oleh siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes-postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA1 dan XI IPA2 yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif berupa rata-rata nilai tes yang dianalisis dengan uji-t dan uji-U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata aktivitas belajar meningkat dengan kriteria baik (78,89), dengan persentase masing-masing yaitu membentuk kelompok (92,22), memberikan ide/pendapat (83,33), menjawab pertanyaan (77,78), dan menanggapi jawaban (62,22). Penguasaan materi meningkat dengan rata-rata N-gain (63,16). Sebagian besar siswa juga memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan model NHT. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model NHT berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi sistem pertahanan tubuh secara signifikan.  Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, model pembelajaran NHT, penguasaan materi, sistem pertahanan tubuh
