The aimed of this research was to find out the influence of contextual approach towards students mathematical conceptual understanding and self confidence. The population of this research was students of grade VIII in SMP Global Madani Bandarlampung which was distributed into 4 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII.1 and VIII.3 class which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used posttest only control group design. The data were obtained through mathematical conceptual understanding test and self confidence scale. Analysis data used Mann Whitney U test. This research concluded that contextual approach influenced students mathematical conceptual understanding and self confidence.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan kontekstual terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis dan self confidence siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Global Madani Bandarlampung yang terdistribusi dalam 4 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.1 dan VIII.3 yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control design. Data diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep dan skala self confidence. Analisis data menggunakan uji Mann Whitney U. This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of problem-based learning model on student’s mathematical problem solving skill. The population of this research was all of grade eighth students of SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2013/2014 as many as 247 students that was distributed into six classes. By purposive sampling technique, it was chosen VIII D and VIII E class as samples. Based on the hypothesis test, it was found that the increasing of student's mathematical problem solving skill with the problem-based learning was higher than conventional learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model affects the student's mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 247 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam enam kelas. Dengan teknik purposive sampling, terpilih kelas VIII D dan VIII E sebagai sampel. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis, diketahui bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih tinggi dari pembelajaran konvensional. This research aimed to know the effectiveness of PBL model viewed from student’s mathematical conceptual understanding and disposition. The design which was used in this research was pretest posttest-control group design. The population was all students of grade VIII of SMPN 2 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into eight classes. The samples were students of VIII5 and VIII6 class which were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical conceptual understanding and disposition scale. The conclusion of this research was the PBL model was effective viewed from student’s mathematical conceptual understanding and disposition.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model PBL ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep dan disposisi matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam delapan kelas. Sampel adalah siswa kelas VIII5 dan VIII6 yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep dan skala disposisi matematis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah model PBL efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep dan disposisi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: disposisi matematis, PBL, pemahaman konsep

This research aimed to know the effectiveness of Socrates Contextual Learning viewed by students critical thinking ability. This quasi-experimental research used one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research was all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 22 Bandarlampung in even semester, academic year of 2014/2015 which was distributed into eleven clasess. By purposive sampling technique, students of VII D class was chosen as the research sample. The research data were obtained by critical thinking ability test. The techniques of analysis data which were used were paired sample t-test and proportion test. Based on the data analysis result, it can be concluded that Socrates Contextual Learning was not effective viewed by students critical thinking ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 22 Bandarlampung. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini menggunakan desain one group pretest posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam sebelas kelas. Dengan teknik purposive sampling terpilih siswa kelas VII D sebagai sampel penelitian. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t observasi berpasangan dan uji proporsi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, kemampuan berpikir kritis, srates kontekstual

The design of this research was posttest only control group design. The population of this research was all of 8th grade students in SMPN 23 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2016/2017 which was distributed into 10 classes. This research was aimed to find out the effectiveness of inquiry learning model based on ethnomathematics in terms of mathematical problem-solving skill. The population of this research were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bulok in the academic year of 2017/2018 that were distributed into 5 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIIB which were chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The research design was one group pre-test post-test. Research data were obtained through mathematical problem-solving skill test. The data analysis used for this research was Wilcoxon test. Based on the result of this research, it was concluded that inquiry learning model based on ethnomathematics was not effective in terms of student’s mathematical problem-solving skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis ethnomathematics terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. The aimed of this research was to know the improvement of students mathematical critical thinking skills and self confidence after implementation of contextual learning. The population of this research was students of grade VIII in SMP Negeri 25 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into nine classes. The samples of this research was students of VIII F and VIII G classes which were chosen by puposive sampling technique. The design was pretest-posttest control group design. Research data were obtained through mathematical critical thinking test and self confidence scale. Based on the result of the research, we obtained concluded that implementation of contextual learning can improve of students mathematical critical thinking skills and self confidence. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan self confidence siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 25 Bandarlampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam sembilan kelas. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII F dan VIII G yang diambil dengan teknik puposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan skala self confidence. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran kontekstual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan self confidence siswa.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, pembelajaran kontekstual, self confidence.

The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of MTs Guppi in Banjit which was distributed into 6 classes, the samples were students of VIII E and VIII F class which were chosen by purposive sampling. The instrument of this research was essay test of mathematical representation skill. Design of research was used pretest-posttest control group design. The data analysis of the research used t-test. This research concluded that cooperative learning of think pair share type influenced students mathematical representations skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. This qualitative research aimed to describe the student’s critical mathematics discourse in Socrates scientific learning. The subjects of this research were 9 students of VII-D class of MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2018/2019 consists of each 3 students with high, medium, and low mathematical ability. The data of this research were obtained through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis were processed through three steps that refered to Miles and Huberman models, which were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the research, the results were: (1) The number of students who did the critical mahematics discourse was successfully increased by Socrates scientific learning, (2) Student’s critical mathematics discourse through Socrates scientific learning more dominantly showed the indicator of student’s critical thinking skill in interprettation and analysis, (3) Student’s critical mathematics discourse was more likely to occur when the teacher asked Socrates’ questions types of clarifycations and reasons and evidence of investigation, (4) Student’s critical mathematics discourse more dominantly showed when the students did scientific approach, which were associating and communicating.

This quasi Experimental researchaimed to know effectiveness of Project Based Learning model for student’s ability in understanding mathematical concepts. Populatian of this research was student 7th grade student of SMP N 7Bandar Lampung which was distributed in 8 classes, and the samples of his research were students of VII-1 and VII-3 that choosen by purposive sampling technique. The research data was collected by pretest and post-test, and being tested by t-test.
