Abstract

Abstract. This aim of this research is to describe the ability to video-based storytelling skills in grade V SDN Wirotaman in the academic year 2020/2021. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN Wirotaman as many as eight children as the research sample taken by using purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data was carried out by interviews, and document analysis by testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis models. The results of this study indicate that students are able to tell interactive video-based stories by fulfilling the specified indicators. The results of this study also encourage teachers to determine effective strategies, models, and methods so as to improve students' video-based storytelling skills.

Abstract

This study focuses on the role of teachers in mathematics learning that is adjusted to the four things that must be involved in numeracy associated with the mathematics learning module for grade V at SD Negeri Dukuhan Kerten Surakarta during the 2023/2024 academic year. This study involves the numeracy aspect, namely students can think critically and reason mathematically, connect mathematics learning with the surrounding environment, there is mathematical communication during learning, and mathematics learning that uses technological skills. This study focuses on the four things that must be included in the mathematics learning module. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method using a case study approach. Data collected through interviews, observations, and case studies. The fifth grade teacher of SD Negeri Dukuhan Kerten has taught numeracy studies in accordance with the elements of numeracy according to the Organisation Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) starting from students being able to think critically to the use of technology in learning. So it can be seen that the implementation of numeracy studies in grade V of SD Negeri Dukuhan Kerten Surakarta has been carried out in accordance with the elements of numeracy studies.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the improvement in learning outcomes on responsibility material in Civics for fifth-grade students of SD N 2 Tambakan Klaten using the Pembelajaran aktif Role Reversal Question Type Model. This collaborative Classroom Action Research involved 13 students, with the teacher as the implementer and the researcher as the observer. Conducted in two cycles, data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Success was defined as ≥75% of students scoring ≥70. In the pre-action stage, the average score was 53.84, with 1 student (7.69%) achieving ≥70, while 12 students (92.31%) scored below. In Cycle I, the average increased by 10% to 64.61, and the proportion of students scoring ≥70 rose to 23.08%. In Cycle II, the average improved by 11% to 76.15. The study concluded that the Role Reversal Question Model effectively enhanced learning outcomes. The steps include preparing material-based questions, explaining activities, dividing students into groups, assigning group discussions, creating individual questions, conducting role-reversal Q&A sessions, and providing feedback.

Abstract

This research conducted to analyzed the teacher’s role in instilling learning discipline in Javanese languange learning for fifth grade students. This is a qualitative descriptive research using a case study approach. The research results of this study show seven roles that must be implemented to instill learning discipline in Javanese languange. The role such as demonstrators, evaluators and educators still have subindicators that have not been fulfilled. However, teachers have fulfilled other roles, as communicators, organizers, motivators, and inspirers. A questionnaire was conducted to calculate the learning discipline of class V ini Javanese languange learning, so the conclusion was that in general the students' learning discipline was in the very good category. This is seen from each indicator, namely (1) discipline in participating in learning; (2) discipline in doing assignments; and (3) discipline in obeying rules and regulations. The implications of this research state that the teacher's role in instilling learning discipline in Javanese language learning can trigger students' disciplined learning behavior in participating in learning, doing assignments, and obeying rules and regulations.

Abstract

Adhna ‘Aini Nur Reizka. ANALYSIS OF FACTORS CAUSING DIFFICULTIES IN JAVANESE LEARNING ESPECIALLY ON WRITING JAVANESE FONTS (AKSARA JAWA) AT CLASS V SDN KABANGAN NO. 55 SURAKARTA. Skripsi. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. January 2023.This study aims to (1) find out the factors that cause difficulties in learning to write Javanese script for class V at SDN Kabangan No. 55 Surakarta (2) explains the reasons for the emergence of difficulties experienced in learning to write Javanese script for class V at SDN Kabangan No. 55 Surakarta and provide alternative solutions. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, using analytical techniques according to the Miles and Huberman model and data validity testing techniques using technique and source triangulation. The discussion of this study contains a description of the difficulties of learning to write Javanese script experienced by fifth grade students at SDN Kabangan no. 55 Surakarta is seen based on indicators of writing difficulty, namely writing accuracy/consistency, clarity of writing form, and writing neatness. After presenting a description of the difficulties in learning to write Javanese script, the researcher will present the results of an analysis of the factors that cause difficulties in learning to write Javanese script, based on the results of the data obtained and processed in the odd semester lessons, October-November 2022, and the researcher provides various alternatives in overcoming the factors that cause the emergence of The difficulty of learning to write the script is divided into 2, namely, factors from within the students (internal), and factors that come from outside the students (external) based on previous scientific studies, ideas from the class teacher as resource persons, and the researcher's personal opinion.
