Abstract

The 93.55-hectare Mataram Muhammadiyah University Educational Forest has been enriched with eucalyptus and gaharu plants since 2019. In 2024, further enrichment will be carried out with Durian, Avocado, Jackfruit, and Longan plants. The results of previous studies showed that the development plan for Durian plants has a marginal suitability class or S3. This study aims to determine the suitability class and area of land units for Avocado plants as an alternative choice, limiting factors and economic feasibility analysis. Land surveys using the free grid method on 9 land units and land evaluations by matching 14 parameters of land availability and land requirements for Avocado plants, namely soil conditions, climate, and land. The results of the study showed that land suitability for avocado plants was quite suitable (S2) on 3 land units covering an area of 34.15 Ha with limiting factors being texture, soil depth, Total N, Available K and Slope. The land suitability class was marginally suitable (S3) on 6 land units covering an area of 59.4 Ha with limiting factors being slope and soil depth. The investment cost for enrichment of MPTS avocado plants of 100 trees per hectare is Rp. 6,000,000 per hectare and the estimated return on capital is in the 6th year after planting

Abstract

In recent years, formation evaluation and well logging analysis have been evolving from its measurements, accuracy and applicability to determine tough downhole environments. Thin bed Reservoir is one of the most challenging well logging analysis due to the complexity of the high content of clay minerals in the shaly-sand lamination layer (thin bed) which inherently affects the log data response in the form of high gamma ray values and low resistivity. This causes the thin lamination zone is identified as a non-reservoir zone. Meanwhile, worldwide 30 to 40% of the oil in-place resources are confined within thin beds. Seeing the problem in the prediction of thin bed reservoirs, this research is focusing on Enhancing and developing thin bed potential by reevaluating petrophysical analysis, applying Laminated Shally Sand Analysis and Monte Carlo Uncertainty Probabilistic for calculating petrophysical parameter distribution and validating the parameter with Log Image. Laminated Shally Sand Analysis implements Thomas Steiber Plot in order to give laminated shale distribution and porosity, whereas the water saturation is calculated using Waxman Smith’s Equation. From this research, well SSK has thin bed potential at 2521.45 - 2543.45 ft. Laminated Shally Sand Analysis also capable to improve thickness of netpay with the range of 40.35% based on probabilistic delivered from Monte Carlo.

Abstract

Protecting the president’s dignity in law is not a new thing that has received much controversy from the public, even in the realm of the international state. Even in Indonesia, this article was annulled by the Constitutional Court. Nevertheless, the new Criminal Code has been reinforced, resulting in many pros and cons from the public. Therefore, this research discussed why the article on protecting the president’s dignity was reinserted in the New Criminal Code. This research was normative legal research, while the data source consisted of secondary data, with primary and secondary legal materials such as books, scientific journals, papers, and scientific articles. The data collection process was done through library research using qualitative data analysis. This research used a conceptual approach and studies related to statutory regulations. The research found that protecting the president’s dignity is essential for ordinary people in general. However, in the constitutional realm, a president is an interpretation of the State representing all citizens. Therefore, it is highly justified if this article is reactivated. Apart from that, if this article is not included in the new Criminal Code, it can potentially cause subsociality in public

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the association between locus of control and job satisfaction to auditor ethical sensitivity. The association between locus of control and ethical sensitivity is based on the notion that auditors with an internal locus of control likely have a high ethical sensitivity. The association between job satisfaction has emerged from the understanding that auditors who are satisfied with their jobs tend to have keen ethical sensitivity. The population of this study is 300 government auditors at the office of Financial and Development supervisory agency (BPKP) in East Java. The sampling technique is simple random sampling, which includes a minimum number of sample of 30 auditors. The type of data is primary data gathered from distributed questionnaires. Rank Spearman correlation test is used to determine the association between the variables. This research found that locus of control is related to auditor ethical sensitivity. It implies that internal locus of control can influence the auditors' decision-making when faced with an ethical dilemma. On the other hand, job satisfaction does not associate with auditor ethical sensitivity.

Abstract

Abstract

Dry land with low rainfall results in minimal availability of irrigation water. However, the lack of irrigation water is not an obstacle in cultivation if the right, effective and efficient irrigation method is applied, namely drip irrigation. This study aims to see the effect of applying drip irrigation techniques with different water discharge treatments on tomato plant growth. This research was conducted in Batu Putik Village, East Lombok Regency from August 12, 2020 to September 20, 2020. This research method uses experimental methods by conducting direct experiments in the field. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments 4 times repeated so that 12 experimental units were obtained. Each treatment was P1 with a 90° tap slope discharge, P2 with a 45° tap slope discharge, and P3 with a 15° tap slope discharge. The research data were analyzed using ANOVA. The results of the drip irrigation technique design performance test showed an average uniformity coefficient percentage of 94% in all treatments. The results of this test provide an insignificant effect on plant height, stem diameter, and number of leaves of tomato plants. So this insignificant result shows that the application in the field in relation to water efficiency should use P1 with less water distribution but gives the same effect as P2, and P3 on tomato plant growth. While in wet and dry stems, there is a significant effect between treatments.
