Abstract

Currently, there are still many students who feel they need to be more confident in studying mathematics. Most students are weak in conceptual understanding and procedural knowledge. This research aims to analyze the effect of the realistic mathematics education (RME) approach on students' conceptual and procedural understanding. The type of research used is a quasi-experiment (Quasi Experiment). The design of this research is a non-equivalent pot-test-only control group design. The population of this study was all class VII students, totaling 133 students. Sampling used a simple random sampling technique. The total sample is 58 students. The method used to collect data is a test. The instrument used to collect data is test questions. The techniques used to analyze data are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The research results show differences between students who follow the realistic mathematics education (RME) learning model and students who do not follow the realistic mathematics education (RME) learning model regarding students' conceptual and procedural abilities. It was concluded that the realistic mathematics education (RME) learning model can improve conceptual and procedural abilities in junior high school students.

Abstract

This study looks at how power is established when translanguaging occurs in writing class discourse using English as the language of instruction. It is a qualitative research method using a case study methodology. Data collection methods included semi-structured interviews with class lecturers, focus groups with nine students, and classroom observations. Fairclough's (2001) notions of "power behind discourse" and "power in discourse" serve as the analytical foundation for this study. He defined three types of aspects: subjects, or the "subject positions" that persons might hold; connections, or the social ties that people develop during talks; and content, or what is said or done. The findings demonstrated that translanguaging helps students conceive complicated concepts, negotiate meaning, and preserve their language and cultural identities. It also promotes collaborative learning environments, which normalize language variety while increasing students' confidence and academic autonomy. Translanguaging helps students to use their language resources, which promotes agency and critical engagement with academic information. However, it also emphasizes the power dynamics in students' linguistic identities, in which the usage of many languages threatens English's supremacy. By analyzing these interactions, this study emphasizes the need of inclusive instructional practices that empower students while respecting their language variety.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this case study is to discuss the differences in language disorders between two female mild mental retardation students. Observation data and semi-structured interviews were analyzed thematically to see differences in language disorders between two female students who have the same mild mental retardation. This research conducted with three participants, one teacher and two is female students who have mild mental retardation. The finding of this study showed that there are some differences between two mild mental retardation students’ language disorders and there are several themes that showed, namely: (1) the Kind of language disorders in two female mild mental retardation students; (2) The using of language in two female mild mental retardation students; (3) Socialization and the development of language in two female mild mental retardation students; (4) The cause of language disorders in two female mild mental retardation students. The result of this study indicates that we should have to give extra energy to analyzing students with mental retardation because they are not similar. They have some differences, in skill and also in their problems (language disorders). It means that even though participants have the same mental retardation, it is not guaranteed that they have the same language disorders. This study suggests to the next researchers could gain data from some students who have several levels of mental retardation. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menampilkan gambaran distribusi pola transitivitas dalam skrip hipnoterapi untuk manajemen stres dan menjelaskan bagaimana struktur linguistik tersebut mendukung tujuan terapeutik. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menguraikan transitivitas yang terdapat dalam skrip hipnoterapi untuk manajemen stres. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari berbagai sumber dan diperoleh tiga skrip hipnoterapi untuk manajemen stres. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah Teknik analisis unsur langsung pada setiap tuturan dalam skrip induksi hipnoterapi dengan analisis transitivitas linguistik fungsional sistemik yang dikemukakan Halliday (2004). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skrip hipnoterapi untuk manajemen stres didominasi oleh proses mental (77%) dan sirkumstansi location, khususnya time (33%) dan place (29%). Dominasi proses mental mengindikasikan fokus utama terapis untuk mengarahkan pengalaman internal subjek (perasaan, pikiran, persepsi) untuk memfasilitasi perubahan pola pikir dan respons emosional dalam mengatasi stres. Sementara itu, dominasi sirkumstansi time dan place menekankan kapan dan di mana subjek harus mengaplikasikan sugesti. Hal ini dapat membantu subjek untuk membentuk visualisasi yang jelas dan konteks yang sesuai untuk efektivitas terapi.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat konsentrasi anak pada saat ini akan menjadi sebuah ancaman bagi masa depan yang tidak memiliki kualitas yang tinggi, sehingga akan menjadi beban tersendiri untuk menata hidup seperti mencari pekerjaan maupun hal lainnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan faktor pengetahuan gizi, kebiasaan sarapan dan aktivitas fisik dengan tingkat konsentrasi anak. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini cross sectional sebagai metode pendekatannya. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah anak sebanyak 203 sebagai responden dan purposive sampling digunakan sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Untuk menganalisis data univariat serta bivariat menngunakan chi-square test. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa pengetahuan gizi bernilai 0,021, kebiasaan sarapan pagi bernilai 0,026 dan aktivitas fisik bernilai 0,002. Temuan hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa pengetahuan gizi, kebiasaan sarapan pagi dan aktivitas fisik berhubungan dengan konsentrasi anak.

Abstract

This research formulates a new construction of symbolic violence analysis in educational textbooks. Analysis of symbolic violence through critical sociological theory is still limited to generalizing linguistic evidence. The integration of two important theories, cultural reproduction through symbolic violence by Pierre Bourideu and Critical Discourse Analysis by Teun A van Dijk, became the main study formulated. The study focused on reconstructing the concept of CDA for Symbolic Violence Analysis as a combination of these two theories in the study of educational textbooks. A qualitative approach with a library research as the research method was carried out. The reconceptualization of these two theories is able to present an analytical model to dismantle the ideological structures hiding behind educational texts. Symbolic violence that occurs through the process of cultural reproduction and gives rise to forced doxa can be dismantled through analysis of habitus, capital and arena which is enhanced by textual analysis, social cognition and social context.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri Karangjunti 02 . Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian kali ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrument yang digunakan pada penelitian kali ini adalah lembar observasi hasil belajar afektif dan psikomotor. Tes belajar kognitif dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor pada penerapan metode pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Type STAD Peningkatan hasil belajar IPA siswa terlihat pada hasil penelitian siklus I yaitu rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 73,77 dengan aspek kognitif sebesar 72,5, pada aspek afektif sebesar 61,76 dan psikomotor sebesar 87,06. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 83,64 dengan pembagian aspek kognitif sebesar 83.09 dan afektif sebesar 84,19 dan ketuntasan klasikal kelas sebesar 100% meliputi kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Kata kunci: Kooperative learning , STAD, Hasil Belajar IMPROVING SCIENCE LEARNING OUTCOMES ABOUT THE RESPIRATORY APPARATUS OF HUMAN AND ANIMALS USING COOPERATIVE LEARNING TYPE STAD ASSISTED WITH VIDEO MEDIA IN CLASS V STUDENTS OF KARANGJUNTI STATE 02 PRIMARY SCHOOL BREBES DISTRICT ABSTRACT This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects for class V students at SD Negeri Karangjunti 02. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The instrument used in this research was an observation sheet on affective and psychomotor learning results. Cognitive learning tests and documentation. The research results revealed that there was an increase in cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes when applying the Cooperative Learning Type STAD learning method. An increase in students' science learning outcomes was seen in the results of the first cycle of research, namely an average learning outcome of 73.77 with a cognitive aspect of 72.5. in the affective aspect it was 61.76 and psychomotor was 87.06. In cycle II it increased to 83.64 with a division of cognitive aspects of 83.09 and affective of 84.19 and classical class completeness of 100% including cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Abstract

Guru dituntut dalam belajar mengajar, harus menguasai beberapa komponen yang sangat penting yaitu Penelitian dan Publikasi karya Ilmiah di Open Journal System (OJS). Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut guru harus dibekali dengan kemampuan membuat Penelitian dan Publikasi karya Ilmiah di Open Journal System (OJS). Sebagian besar guru SMPN 7 Kelurahan Perak Barat, Kecamatan Krembangan Kota Surabaya merasa kesulitan dalam membuat dan memanfaatkan Penelitian dan Publikasi karya Ilmiah di Open Journal System (OJS). PKM ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui membuat Penelitian atau karya Ilmiah yang baik dan benar, (2) mengetahui cara Publikasi karya Ilmiah di Open Journal System (OJS),(3) mengetahui jenis-jenis Publikasi karya Ilmiah di Open Journal System (OJS) yang bereputasi nasional dan international, dan (4) mengetahui Aplikasi Sinta untuk Publikasi karya Ilmiah di Open Journal System (OJS). Mitra PKM ini adalah guru-guru di SMPN 7 Kelurahan Perak Barat, Kecamatan Krembangan Kota Surabaya. Pengaplikasian kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) dilaksanakan secara luring dan daring. Kegiatan pengabdian secara keseluruhan dapat dinilai cukup baik, dilihat dari keberhasilan target jumlah peserta pelatihan dinilai cukup baik, ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan dinilai baik, ketercapaian target materi yang telah direncanakan dinilai baik, dan kemampuan peserta dalam penguasaan materi dinilai baik.

Abstract

Guru untuk terus mengembangkan kompetensinya dalam bidang penelitian. Untuk mendukung pengembangan profesi dan literasi digital guru, salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui Workshop Pemanfaatan Aplikasi Mendeley Bagi Guru SMAN 6 Surabaya yang dapat membantu guru dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah. Dalam kegiatan ini, tim PPM mengadakan Workshop Pemanfaatan Aplikasi Mendeley Dalam Kegiatan Penelitian Bagi Guru SMAN 6 Surabaya secara luring. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dibagi menjadi dua sesi, yaitu presentasi dan praktik. Pada sesi presentasi, Pemateri menyampaikan manfaat dan pentingnya aplikasi Mendeley. Kemudian, pada sesi praktik, tim PPM memperagakan dan mendampingi para guru untuk menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley. Hasilnya, guru-guru berhasil mencoba menyusun daftar pustaka menggunakan Mendeley untuk meningkatkan kualitas karya tulis ilmiahnya.

Abstract

This research is a response to the statement made by President Prabowo Subianto regarding the large budget required for the implementation of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections. Using a literature review approach, the author conducts a comparative study of regional elections from five perspectives: democracy, constitution, budget, corrupt behavior, and national security. The findings indicate that from the democracy aspect, regional elections, whether directly or through the DPRD, can be considered democratic as long as the process runs democratically. The constitutional aspect shows that law. of the UUD 1945 should not only be interpreted as a direct regional election but can also be understood as a regional election through the DPRD. From the budget perspective, regional elections require significant funding, which must be borne by the state and the candidates themselves. This situation triggers corrupt behavior among the elected candidates in direct regional elections. Lastly, the direct election of regional heads also has the potential to disrupt security stability, as it often leads to conflicts due to differing political choices
