Abstract

Cognitive abilities are the brain-based skills required to perform any task from the simplest to the most complex. Children's ability to recognize numbers requires thinking about objects, objects, or events. The aims of this study were: 1) To find out the teacher's planning in developing cognitive abilities in introducing numbers using picture number cards to student A at PAUD Permata Jember. 2) To find out the form of teacher implementation in developing cognitive abilities in introducing numbers with illustrated number cards media to group A students at PAUD Permata Jember. 3) To determine the teacher's evaluation in developing cognitive abilities in introducing numbers with illustrated number card media to group A students at PAUD Permata Jember. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. This research used observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation, and data verification. In comparison, the validity of the data is used in triangulation techniques and data sources. Based on the study's results, 1) planning: Formation of themes, preparation of lesson plans, preparation of learning media, choice of teaching methods and materials to be implemented, and provision of information to students before learning activities. 2) Forms of implementation: opening activities, namely greetings, praying, and asking how students are doing; Second is the core activity, namely seating management, singing songs about number recognition, distributing illustrated number card media to students, implementing number recognition, students individually take turns demonstrating on the blackboard. Then, the third is the closing activity, namely, the teacher instructs (recalling) the repetition of today's learning activities, and the last is the closing activity of learning (praying). 3). evaluation, observation (observation), performance (assignment), and checklist.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada Mata Pelajaran IPA SMP kelas IX. Penelitian dilakukan pada Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan 2 siklus, dan setiap siklus dilaksanakan dalam 2 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian 32 peserta didik kelas IX.D UPT SMP Negeri 1 Kademangan. Metode analisis data menggunakan deskriptif dengan alat pengumpulan data lembar observasi aktivitas belajar peserta didik dan hasil ulangan belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik dari kondisi awal 14 (43,75%) peserta didik yang tuntas menjadi 22 peserta didik (68,75%) di siklus pertama, dan 31 (96,87%) peserta didik di siklus kedua, hal tersebut didukung dengan peningkatan. Hasil belajar pada kondisi awal 14 (43,75%) peserta didik tuntas, naik menjadi 20 peserta didik (62,50%) tuntas peserta didik di siklus pertama. Siklus kedua hasil belajar naik menjadidan dan 30 peserta didik (93,75%) tuntas di siklus kedua. peserta didik dan dinyatakan tuntas. Penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning untuk mata pelajaran IPA Kelas IX.D UPT SMP Negeri 1 Kademangan Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

The government pays special attention to the education sector, including children with special needs (ABK), because special education services that are able to accommodate their learning process are still very minimal. Through the Republic of Indonesia Minister of National Education Regulation No. 70 of 2009 concerning inclusive education services, an education provider system that provides opportunities for all students with disabilities to participate in learning together with other normal children. This aims to not be discriminatory towards crew members and to realize education for all. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of Library Research, using five data collection techniques. namely a) Reading and taking notes on literature or books, b) Managing research materials, c) Constructing from various sources such as books, journals and existing research, d) Documenting via photos, videos, USB, etc.  e) Using data recording tools in the form of working bibliographic instruments and coding tables. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out by means of content analysis. The research results show that there are still villages in Indonesia where not all children with special needs can access educational services because of the very long distance. However, some regular schools provide special services for children with special needs. In carrying out inclusive education services, schools need to know the characteristics of children with special needs, have teaching staff who are capable and understand how to handle them, have adequate facilities and infrastructure and also need support from parties outside the school. Apart from that, schools must also pay attention to appropriate teaching strategies, good classroom management, and curriculum modifications that are appropriate for children with special needs. Abstract

This study aims to analyze student responses to using the PhET simulation application in electromagnetic induction laboratories at MA Al-Djufri Blumbungan. A descriptive quantitative methodology was employed, with data collected through a survey using a questionnaire that gathered written verbal feedback from 17 twelfth-grade science students. The findings indicate that the PhET application was well-received by students and proved beneficial in enhancing their understanding of electromagnetic induction through virtual laboratories. Over 83% of the students agreed or strongly agreed on the effectiveness of the PhET application in the laboratory, demonstrating a high acceptance of this learning medium. This research supports the integration of virtual laboratories in science education as an effective way to improve student learning experiences and develop their conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how the policy-making process carried out by SMPS-IT and SMAS-IT Muslimah Sejati Bekasi, starting from the formulation, and implementation, to policy evaluation, which will end in the value of effectiveness and efficiency as a form of institution existence. This study uses qualitative research through descriptive analysis methods with data collection models using interviews, documentation, observations, and triangulation of sources, techniques, and theories. Through this method, researchers get a finding containing policy cases from two institutions related to the similarities and differences between the formulation process and effectiveness and efficiency. In the formulation process, both have different policies between online and offline, but in the formulation, each has weaknesses consisting of flaws in analysis and alternatives. Meanwhile, in terms of implementation, there are obstacles, individually and institutionally, composed of weak motivation and the disintegration of some teachers and staff. The evaluation has similarities in the implementation system, namely, using a formative, summative model. In terms of effectiveness and efficiency, both achieved the same value. Namely, they were both able to graduate students of 30 Juz Qur'an, while inefficiency there were shortcomings in financing and dependence on electricity in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research discusses the empirical historical approach in Islamic studies as one of the scientific methods used to understand Islam not only as a normative teaching but also as a historical phenomenon. This approach examines primary and secondary sources through verification of historical data and critical analysis of the socio-cultural context of a period. In modern Islamic studies, this approach is important because it is able to reveal the historical dynamics of the development of Islamic teachings, institutions and thoughts objectively. This research uses a qualitative method based on literature study, with results showing that the empirical historical approach has significant epistemological, methodological, and practical implications. The empirical historical approach in Islamic studies offers a more comprehensive view of Islam as an entity that develops in time and space. This approach does not only focus on theological or normative aspects, but also examines how Islamic teachings are practiced, interpreted and developed according to specific social, political and cultural contexts. By tracing the dynamics of history and using empirical evidence from the past, researchers can describe the transformation of Islamic thought and institutions more objectively and avoid ideological bias. In a methodological context, this approach requires precision in sorting and interpreting historical sources, both primary sources such as manuscripts, official documents, and secondary sources such as the results of previous studies. The data is analyzed critically by considering the socio-cultural background and power relations that influence an event or thought. The results show that the empirical historical approach not only enriches the treasures of Islamic scholarship, but also makes a real contribution in formulating Islamic responses to the challenges of modernity and contemporary social change.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan aunthentic learning berbasis lingkungan pada keterampilan berpikir kritis dan memecahkan masalah sains. Penelitian ini menggunakan Desain Kelompok Kontrol Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak 48 siswa yang kemudian dibagi kedalam 2 kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol, dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Kelompok eksperimen terdiri dari 24 siswa yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran aunthentic berbasis lingkungan sedangkan kelompok kontrol terdiri dari 24 siswa menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah guestionnaires dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis parametrik one way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan nilai rata-rata antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, di mana nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode aunthentic learning berbasis lingkungan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan menyelesaikan masalah sains siswa kelas V di MI Manbaul Huda Purwodadi Temanggung.

Abstract

Education is a continuing process of the students’ body and soul development. A teacher needs to understand the children’s development to achieve educational purposes optimally. Islam divides children's development into two periods: the prenatal period and the after-natal period. This research focuses on the after-natal period, with the results being descriptive data analyzed using a qualitative approach. The findings indicate that human beings possess a fitrah (innate nature) that needs to be developed, including the fitrah of faith in Allah, the willingness to accept goodness and education, curiosity about the truth, biological desires in the form of syahwat and ghadlab (instinct), and other potentials inherent in every individual. Pendidikan merupakan proses berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan jasmani dan rohani anak didik. Seorang pendidik perlu memahami perkembangan anak agar dapat mencapai tujuan pendidikan secara optimal. Islam membagi periode perkembangan anak menjadi dua, yaitu periode sebelum kelahiran (prenatal) dan setelah kelahiran (after-natal). Penelitian ini berfokus pada periode setelah kelahiran dengan hasil berupa data deskriptif yang dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manusia memiliki fitrah yang perlu dikembangkan, meliputi fitrah keimanan kepada Allah, kesediaan menerima kebaikan dan pendidikan, rasa ingin tahu terhadap kebenaran, dorongan biologis berupa syahwat dan ghadlab (insting), serta potensi lain yang dimiliki setiap manusia.

Abstract

A complex poverty problem requires global and coordinated attention from all components. It is connected with the poverty issues of society, especially the people of Sempol, whose income mostly comes from working in the coffee and strawberry fields of PTP XII. The method used in this research not only describes poor women but also aims to uncover the meaning behind poverty. This research employs a qualitative method conversed with the symbolism paradigm. The study concludes that the majority of women in Sempol Village have a dual role as workers and housewives responsible for household chores and child-rearing. Being a dual-role woman is not easy. Several problems arise and must be faced by these women. The efforts they make while working outside as plantation workers at PTPN XII to address childcare issues include utilizing their limited time to provide guidance and advice as much as possible. To care for their children, they are assisted by school teachers in the morning and religious teachers in the afternoon. Furthermore, some women also rely on siblings or other relatives to take care of their children. Masalah kemiskinan yang kompleks membutuhkan perhatian global dan terkoordinasi dari semua komponen. Hal ini terkait dengan masalah kemiskinan masyarakat, terutama masyarakat Sempol yang sebagian besar pendapatannya berasal dari pekerjaan di kebun kopi dan stroberi PTP XII. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini tidak hanya mendeskripsikan perempuan miskin, tetapi juga ingin mengungkap makna di balik kemiskinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang berparadigma simbolisme. Dari penelitian disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas perempuan di Desa Sempol memiliki peran ganda, yaitu sebagai pekerja dan ibu rumah tangga yang bertanggung jawab atas rumah tangga dan pengasuhan anak. Menjadi perempuan berperan ganda bukanlah hal yang mudah. Ada beberapa masalah yang muncul dan harus dihadapi oleh perempuan tersebut. Upaya yang mereka lakukan saat bekerja di luar sebagai buruh kebun di PTPN XII dalam menghadapi masalah pengasuhan anak adalah dengan memanfaatkan waktu terbatas mereka untuk memberikan bimbingan dan nasihat sebisa mungkin. Untuk mengurus anak-anak mereka, mereka dibantu oleh guru sekolah di pagi hari dan guru agama di sore hari. Selain itu, sebagian perempuan juga memanfaatkan saudara atau kerabat lainnya untuk mengurus anak-anak mereka.
