Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas II SDN 94 Pekanbaru melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta hasil ulangan harian. Pada siklus I, aktivitas guru memperoleh rata-rata 39%, aktivitas siswa 30%, dan ketuntasan belajar siswa baru mencapai 54,8% dengan rata-rata nilai kelas 67,7. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan: aktivitas guru menjadi 66,5%, aktivitas siswa menjadi 61%, dan ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 83,8% dengan rata-rata nilai 84,5. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila secara efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the optimization of the School Literacy Movement influences the reading interest of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 190 Pekanbaru. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with key participants consisting of 30 students from class VB, as well as teachers, librarians, and parents. Data collection techniques included observations of student literacy activities, in-depth interviews with stakeholders, Likert-scale questionnaires to measure students' reading interest, and documentation of school literacy programs. The findings reveal that the implementation of GLS has a positive impact on increasing students' reading interest, particularly in terms of reading intensity, use of free time, and utilization of reading corners. However, the implementation of GLS has not yet been optimal and still requires strengthening in the consistency of activities, diversity of reading materials, and active involvement of teachers and the school environment. Therefore, the optimization of GLS should be carried out continuously to foster a strong literacy culture and improve students' reading interest more evenly.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di sekolah dasar sering menghadapi tantangan rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dan pemahaman yang terbatas terhadap materi. Salah satu pendekatan yang diyakini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran adalah model Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah perubahan hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan PBL pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas IV SDN 82 Pekanbaru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pre-experimental design. Sampel penelitian adalah 17 siswa yang diambil secara sampel jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis untuk mengukur hasil belajar ranah kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pretest siswa adalah 9,41 (SD = 1,91) dan meningkat menjadi 13,53 (SD = 6,36) pada posttest, sehingga terdapat kenaikan rata-rata sebesar 4,12 poin. Uji Paired Sample t-Test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,026 (< 0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan secara statistik antara skor pretest dan posttest. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berkaitan dengan adanya perubahan hasil belajar yang teramati, sehingga dapat menjadi alternatif strategi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Pendidikan Pancasila. Namun demikian, keterbatasan penelitian berupa desain satu kelompok tanpa kelas kontrol dan jumlah sampel yang relatif kecil mengharuskan hasil ini ditafsirkan secara hati-hati serta memerlukan validasi lebih lanjut pada konteks dan populasi yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dalam meningkatkan minat belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VI SDN 88 Pekanbaru. Penelitian menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus yang masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa dengan waktu pelaksanaan selama dua minggu pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, angket minat belajar dengan skala Guttman, serta wawancara semi-terstruktur. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan proporsi siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal minat belajar, yaitu dari 40% pada siklus I menjadi 90% pada siklus II. Kriteria ketuntasan klasikal yang digunakan adalah 85% siswa mencapai skor minimal kategori “tinggi” sesuai Permendikbud No. 23 Tahun 2016 tentang Penilaian. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Snowball Throwing pada konteks penelitian ini berkorelasi dengan peningkatan jumlah siswa yang mencapai kategori minat belajar tinggi. Temuan ini bersifat deskriptif pada skala kelas dan tidak dimaksudkan untuk generalisasi.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and 21st-century demands emphasize the need for innovation in elementary school learning media. However, no systematic study has examined how PGSD FKIP UIR students utilize such media in their research. This study aims to identify the types of media, learning content, and research methods used in student projects. A meta-analysis was conducted on 42 articles published in national ISSN-accredited journals between 2020 and 2022, sourced from SINTA and Google Scholar. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques, including cross-tabulation and visualizations. Results show that most studies employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, with video-based media being most common. Social Studies (IPS) was the dominant subject. The trend peaked in 2021. These findings indicate a preference for technology-based, visually engaging media, although diversity in media types and subjects remains limited. The study suggests the need to enhance curriculum design and research supervision, and highlights the significance of media-based research in improving elementary education quality. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi dan tuntutan abad ke-21 menekankan perlunya inovasi media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Namun, belum ada kajian sistematis yang menelaah bagaimana mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UIR memanfaatkan media tersebut dalam penelitian mereka. Studi ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis media, konten materi ajar, dan metode penelitian yang digunakan mahasiswa. Meta-analisis dilakukan terhadap 42 artikel yang dipublikasikan dalam jurnal nasional ber-ISSN pada tahun 2020–2022, diperoleh dari SINTA dan Google Scholar. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan tabulasi silang dan visualisasi data. Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), dengan media video sebagai pilihan utama. Materi dominan adalah Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS), dengan tren tertinggi pada tahun 2021. Temuan ini menunjukkan kecenderungan pada media berbasis teknologi yang bersifat visual, meskipun variasi jenis media dan konten masih terbatas. Studi ini merekomendasikan penguatan kurikulum pengembangan media dan bimbingan penelitian, serta menegaskan pentingnya riset berbasis media untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of visual media on the learning concentration of PKN students in grade 2 SDN 176 Pekanbaru. This research is a type of Pre-Experimental Design research, with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The population in this study were all grade 2 students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research is class 2B students, totaling 24 students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that through the t test (paired test) with a significance level of 5%, the t count was -6.868 with a significance level of 0.000. From the results of these calculations, it can be said that the t count is -6.868 with a significance of 0.000 <5%. So it can be concluded that the use of visual media in Civics lesson content has a significant influence on the learning concentration of grade 2 students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of audio-visual media on students' learning motivation in science subjects in grade 5 SDN 176 Pekanbaru. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research, with a non-equivalent control group research design. The population in this study were all 5th grade students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research was students in grades 5A and 5B, totaling 66 students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that from the results of calculating students' learning motivation data, it was obtained that sig (2-tailed) = 0.000, indicating that the level of sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 is below the sig value. 5% or (0.000 <0.05), so that Ho is rejected, Hi is accepted. This means that there is an effect of the use of audio-visual media on student motivation. Then, seen from the acquisition of the average value of students' learning motivation results, it shows that the average score of learning using audio-visual media is 88.21, which is higher than the average group of students who do not use audio-visual media, which is 75.48. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning motivation obtained by groups of students who study using audio-visual media is better than groups of students who do not use audio-visual media

Abstract

Hydroponics is an increasingly popular cultivation method due to its land and water use efficiency. To support students' understanding in this field, a research-based learning module is needed to ensure that the material presented is relevant and evidence-based. An interactive and research-based learning module can enhance students' conceptual understanding and skills in effectively applying hydroponic techniques. This study aims to develop a hydroponic module based on research results. This study utilizes the ADDIE model in the module development phase, students' needs and curriculum requirements were identified to align the module content with learning objectives. The design phase involved structuring the module by integrating recent research findings in hydroponics, selecting appropriate instructional strategies, and incorporating interactive elements. In the development phase, the module was created with interactive features and media to enhance engagement and comprehension. The implementation phase included pilot testing with students to gather feedback on usability and effectiveness. Finally, in the evaluation phase, expert validation and student assessments were conducted to measure the module's validity and effectiveness. Trials and validation were conducted by experts, including media specialists, subject matter experts, and hydroponic practitioners, to ensure the module met quality standards. Validation results indicated that the developed module was categorized as highly valid. Additionally, based on student assessments, the module received in the "good" category, demonstrating its suitability for hydroponics courses. These findings suggest that the research-based hydroponics module is an effective learning resource for students, providing both theoretical knowledge and practical applications in hydroponics education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) siswa kelas V melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (Problem-Based Learning/PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengaatan, refleksi, dan perencanaan ulang. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 91/VI rantau Panjang, dengan jumlah 19 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data meliputi tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Pada siklus pertama, terdapat peningkatan rata-rata nilai siswa, dan pada siklus kedua peningkatan tersebut semakin signifikan. Peningkatan ini berupa peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif, pada pra penelitian dengan jumlah nilai 42,10%, siklus I 55,26% pada siklus ke II naik menjadi 78,94%. Selanjunya dari aspek afektif dari pra siklus nilai rata – rata yang di peroleh yaitu 51,84%, pada siklus I mendapatkan nilai sebesar 61,57%, lalu naik menjadi 78,29%. Terakhir pada aspek psikomotorik dari pra siklus 51,97%, pada saat siklus I nilai yang di dapatkan adalah 60,60% pada siklus ke II naik menjadi 80,26%, semua aspek tersebut dikatakan sudah mencapai ketuntasan. Dengan demikian, model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V.

Abstract

It was found that teachers in elementary schools lacked training on the application of meaningful learning. Although teachers were familiar with several types of learning models, their implementation still fell short of expectations. A learning model based on constructivism theory combined with a deep learning approach could be a solution for creating meaningful learning. This activity aims to provide training to elementary school teachers on how to apply learning models based on constructivist theory with a deep learning approach in order to create meaningful learning. The learning models used as examples are the inquiry model and the learning cycle model. The activity was carried out in four stages, namely preparation, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation/follow-up. The results obtained show that the activities carried out helped provide teachers with an understanding of how to create learning with more effective and enjoyable stages. The expected follow-up is a follow-up activity in the form of training on the preparation of in-depth learning plans.
