Abstract

Learning outcomes are a reflection of the learning process that students have gone through, but in reality there are still many students who are not motivated to practice working on mathematics problems. This study aims to determine the increase in students' interest and learning outcomes in the Flat and Spatial Geometry course through the application of interactive learning media Wizer.me. The subjects of this study were 3rd semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques include interviews, learning outcome tests, learning interest questionnaires, and documentation. Data sources come from lecturers and students. Data analysis is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study showed an increase in both student interest and learning outcomes. Learning interest in cycle I reached 62.5% and increased to 80% in cycle II. Student learning outcomes also increased, from an average pre-cycle score of 60 with 50% completion, to 78 with 75% completion in cycle I, and increased again to 84 with 100% completion in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Wizer.me media can increase students' interest and learning outcomes in the Flat and Spatial Geometry course in the Mathematics Education Study Program, Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia.

Abstract

Math learning is often considered difficult and boring by children, so a more interesting approach is needed to increase their interest and understanding of numeracy concepts. In Banjar Tegalasah, Sanur Kaja Village, low learning motivation and lack of contextual educational media are the main challenges in learning mathematics. Responding to this challenge, Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia’s students implemented a Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) program with the theme Fun Learning as part of the Leadership Project course which aims to make a real contribution to the community. Activities are carried out through several stages, namely socialization, media making training, application, assistance, and evaluation. Children were divided into small groups and invited to learn through games using three interactive educational media, namely Mathematics Ladder Snakes, KOPERTA (Multiplication and Addition Boxes), and Times Tables 1-11. The three media were designed to be simple yet effective in helping children understand numeracy concepts in a fun and collaborative way. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in learning motivation, understanding of basic math concepts, and children's confidence. In addition to benefiting the learners, this activity also strengthened students' social and leadership skills, and received positive responses from the community. The Fun Learning approach has proven effective in creating a more enjoyable, inclusive and relevant learning environment for children.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide a solution to the problem of lack of understanding and skills of teachers in designing interesting and relevant digital learning content, in order to improve teacher professional competence and student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Sukawati. The implementation of the activity is carried out through two main stages, namely training and mentoring. In the training stage, teachers are given a conceptual understanding and practical skills in using various digital applications such as Canva, CapCut, and Powtoon to create interactive learning media. The next stage is technical mentoring which is carried out periodically to ensure that teachers are able to implement the training results in the learning process in the classroom. The results of the activity show a significant increase in teacher competence in creating digital learning content and the formation of several learning video products as real outputs of the training. In addition, this activity encourages the integration of digital content in the Merdeka Curriculum in a more systematic and sustainable manner. Thus, this community service activity has a real positive impact in supporting technology-based educational transformation in the school environment.

Abstract

Banjar Tegal Asah is located in Sanur Kaja Village, possesses abundant local potential, particularly in the form of uniquely patterned leaves that have yet to be optimally utilized by the community, especially by the women’s PKK group. Limited access to skill-based training and low awareness regarding the use of biological resources as creative products remain major obstacles to developing an environmentally based creative production. In response to this issue, students from Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) program, as part of their Projek Kepemimpinan course, implemented an ecoprint tote bag training program using natural materials available in the surrounding environment. This community service initiative aimed to provide a solution through ecoprint training, a natural dyeing technique that transfers the shape and pigment of plants onto fabric. The method used was a participatory approach based on experiential learning, carried out in five main stages, including socialization, skills training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. The training results showed a significant increase in participants’ skills and understanding. Most participants were able to independently apply the ecoprint technique and demonstrated improved comprehension of ecoprint principles and environmental conservation. This program not only produced artistic ecoprint tote bags but also fostered self-confidence, entrepreneurial spirit, and ecological awareness among the participants.

Abstract

This community service program was initiated in response to environmental concerns related to improper disposal of household used cooking oil and the lack of eco-based entrepreneurial skills among residents. The situation was observed in Banjar Tegal Asah, Denpasar, where local housewives lacked access to environmentally friendly skill training. As a solution, a hands-on training in making aromatherapy candles from used cooking oil was conducted using a participatory approach. Participants learned the process of filtering, purifying, mixing ingredients, molding, and packaging. The results indicated an increase in ecological awareness, technical skills, and entrepreneurial interest. This activity demonstrates that household waste can be transformed into valuable products and serve as a sustainable model for women’s home-based empowerment.

Abstract

Inclusive schools with an educational service system require that children with special needs be educated alongside their peers according to their abilities. Until now, a model for mathematics literacy learning based on local wisdom in inclusive high schools has not been available. This study aims to: (1) Analyze local wisdom in inclusive high schools, (2) Analyze the model of mathematics literacy learning based on local wisdom in inclusive high schools, and (3) Construct the concept of a mathematics literacy learning model based on local wisdom in inclusive high schools. This study uses both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative results illustrate the analysis of the influence of local wisdom-based learning (X) on learning independence (Y1) and student creativity (Y2), as well as the role of teachers in developing mathematics literacy learning models in inclusive high schools in Denpasar City. The qualitative approach is conducted to complement the data collected using the quantitative approach. The qualitative analysis results can be summarized as follows: (1) The model for mathematics literacy learning based on local wisdom in inclusive high schools needs improvement. (2) The implemented model of mathematics literacy learning based on local wisdom in inclusive high schools are highly varied, and (3) It is urgent and necessary to formulate a new concept for a mathematics literacy learning model based on local wisdom for students in inclusive education schools. The development of this new concept needs to involve various parties, including policymakers, community leaders, and program implementers such as school principals, teachers, and parents.

Abstract

Sekolah sangat penting untuk memiliki perpustakaan, terutama perpustakaan digital sekolah sesuai dengan tuntutan perkembangan teknologi. Begitu juga dengan publikasi ilmiah sangat penting bagi guru untuk mendapatkan nilai tambah dalam pengusulan kenaikan pangkat. Transformasi pendidikan di era digital mendorong sekolah untuk mengadopsi teknologi dalam perpustakaan dan penguatan kompetensi guru. Program ini bertujuan untuk (1) mewujudkan perpustakaan digital di SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar dan (2) meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam publikasi ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi keberlanjutan. Hasil menunjukkan perpustakaan digital berhasil diterapkan dengan 500 koleksi buku elektronik yang dapat diakses melalui jaringan sekolah. Sebanyak 80% guru mampu menyusun artikel ilmiah sesuai template jurnal ber-ISSN. Program ini membuktikan efektivitas pendekatan terpadu dalam meningkatkan kapasitas pembelajaran dan kompetensi literasi digital. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan pendidikan berbasis teknologi di tingkat sekolah menengah.   It is very important for schools to have a library, especially a digital school library in accordance with the demands of technological developments. Likewise, scientific publications are very important for teachers to get added value in proposing promotions. The transformation of education in the digital era encourages schools to adopt technology in libraries and strengthen teacher competencies. This program aims to (1) realize a digital library at SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar and (2) improve teachers' abilities in scientific publications. The methods used include socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and sustainability evaluation. The results show that the digital library was successfully implemented with 500 electronic book collections that can be accessed through the school network. As many as 80% of teachers were able to compile scientific articles according to the ISSN journal template. This program proves the effectiveness of an integrated approach in improving learning capacity and digital literacy competencies. This study makes an important contribution to the development of technology-based education at the secondary school level.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes through the integration of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach within a Joyful Learning environment. The study was conducted at SMAN 7 Denpasar during the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, involving 38 tenth-grade students. The research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Initial diagnostic assessments revealed that only 36.8% of students achieved the minimum mastery criteria (score ≥73), indicating a need for differentiated instruction and more engaging learning strategies. In Cycle I, the implementation of PBL and TaRL led to an increase in student mastery to 60.05%. Further refinements in Cycle II resulted in 78.94% of students achieving mastery, surpassing the classical completeness threshold of 75%. The PBL model encouraged students to engage in critical thinking and real-world problem solving, while the TaRL approach allowed instruction to be tailored to students’ actual learning levels rather than grade level. Joyful Learning strategies—such as interactive activities, humor, brain gym, and group collaboration—helped create a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere. The findings demonstrate that the integration of PBL, TaRL, and Joyful Learning is effective in enhancing mathematics achievement and student engagement. This model is recommended as an innovative and adaptive instructional strategy for secondary education.

Abstract

The Indonesian language e-module in inclusive schools plays a crucial role in coordinating students, including those with special needs. Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a framework that emphasizes the importance of integrating technology and pedagogy in educational content development. This study aimed to: (1) develop a TPACK-based e-module for inclusive senior high schools and (2) explore and analyze the concept of an Indonesian language learning e-module based on TPACK in inclusive senior high schools. The research employed both qualitative and quantitative approaches with the following stages: (1) exploring and analyzing the implementation of TPACK in inclusive senior high schools and (2) constructing a draft concept for a TPACK-based Indonesian language e-module. The e-module development followed the IDDEI model. This approach provides new guidance for teachers in implementing technology in learning, ensuring that teaching and learning activities are conducted effectively and efficiently in alignment with 21st-century demands, where teachers are required to be proficient in applying technology. The findings revealed that the developed e-module was valid, practical, and effective, making it suitable for use in Indonesian language learning, particularly in drama materials. The advancement of science and technology can be leveraged to enhance the quality of learning, and teachers need to understand and possess TPACK competencies. Therefore, the use of TPACK-based e-modules in inclusive senior high schools is essential, and the concept of Indonesian language e-module development based on TPACK needs to be implemented.

Abstract

Pendidik matematika di sebagian besar sekolah telah menggunakan berbagai model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa mereka. Namun, hasil belajar siswa relatif rendah, jadi pendidik memilih model yang sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan. Salah satu model seperti itu adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD, yang didasarkan pada teori konstruktivisme yang ada pemberian materi, pembelajaran siswa dalam kelompok kecil, kuis, skor dari perkembangan individu dan tentunya penghargaan kelompok. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan pembelajaran kooperatif. Pembelajaran kooperatif yang dilakukan adalah tipe STAD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari dua siklus dan dimulai dengan pra-siklus. Setiap siklus mencakup pengamatan, refleksi, perencanaan, dan pelaksanaan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas XI.I SMAN 2 Mengwi Badung dengan 35 orang siswa sebagai subjek. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes dan non-tes berupa lembar observasi, wawancara, dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil dari penelitian pada Siklus ke-I persentase siswa yang tuntas adalah 54% kemudian meningkat di Siklus ke-II dengan persentase ketuntasan 77%, dikarenakan sudah memenuhi ketuntasan klasikal yang ditetapkan maka penelitian dihentikan pada Siklus ke-II. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas XI.I SMAN 2 Mengwi Badung tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 menunjukkan hasil belajar matematika yang lebih baik ketika metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD diterapkan.
