Abstract

This study aims to implement an image data security mechanism in a web-based work accident recording system in an industrial environment by applying the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit cryptographic algorithm in Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) mode. The problem faced is the lack of an adequate protection mechanism for sensitive work accident photo files so that they have the potential to be accessed, copied, or modified by unauthorized parties. This study uses the Software-Oriented Prototyping method which allows system development to be carried out iteratively based on user needs and evaluation results at each development stage. The encryption process is carried out when the image file is uploaded into the system by generating a random Initialization Vector (IV) of 16 bytes, then the image data is encrypted using the AES-256-CBC algorithm and stored in ciphertext form with the file extension .enc. The decryption process is carried out when the file will be displayed again using the appropriate secret key and IV without storing the file in plaintext form on the server. The test results show that the encryption process has an average execution time of around 0.002–0.008 seconds, while the decryption process takes around 0.00004–0.001 seconds. In addition, the size of the encrypted file relatively follows the size of the original image file with an additional size of around 16–32 bytes due to the padding process and the use of initialization vectors. The results of the study indicate that the application of the AES-256-CBC algorithm is able to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of image data without having a significant impact on system performance. Thus, the developed system can improve the security of digital file storage and support a more structured, secure, and efficient management of work accident data.

Abstract

This research analyzes the distribution of artificially inseminated beef cattle across various districts in Grobogan Regency through WebGIS. The data reveals variations in the number of beef cattle per district, with Wirosari District having the highest population reaching 8,277 heads. The utilization of WebGIS provides advantages in information presentation, particularly with pop-up features when placing the cursor on specific regions, facilitating a profound understanding of the traders' distribution at the local level. This advantage offers significant benefits to stakeholders, including local governments and farmers in each district of Grobogan Regency. This analysis not only presents information visually but also opens opportunities for exploration and more accurate decision-making through the WebGIS platform, supporting efforts in sustainable management and development of the livestock sector.

Abstract

Hospitals and polyclinics are professional health care institutions whose services are provided by doctors, nurses and other health experts. As the function of hospitals becomes increasingly vital, every community member is expected to know the locations of the hospitals and polyclinics closest to where they live to anticipate undesirable events. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a technology that is currently a very essential tool in storing, manipulating, analyzing and displaying natural conditions with the help of attribute data and spatial data. GIS can represent the real world on a computer monitor just as a map sheet can represent the real world on paper. Under these conditions, this system is very useful in making it easier for the health service to manage and review the location of hospitals in the city of Semarang, so that in the future it can be in line with programs from other agencies involved in managing city spatial planning. The aim of this research is to build a geographic information system with an integrated database, especially to find the locations of hospitals and polyclinics in the city of Semarang. So it can provide information to users who want to find hospital locations in the city of Semarang.

Abstract

Abstract

One of the important components in the development of society is education. But kids are still dropping out of school in many places, including in Demak District. Therefore, innovative solutions are needed to address this problem. The aim of this research is to create a geographical information system (GIS) that can map and analyze how equality schools are spread across Demak district as an educational alternative for school dropouts. The waterfall method used with the Quantum GIS software used in this study aims to provide an accurate picture of the educational status and distribution of equality schools in Demak District. Buddhism is used as a reference in the data collection process. Therefore, this study can provide a thorough analysis of the difficulties and opportunities that exist to address the problem of school dropout in the region. Besides, this research can provide a strong foundation for creating better educational solutions.

Abstract

West Java Province is one of the areas in Indonesia that is often affected by natural disasters, such as floods, landslides, and earthquakes. According to the West Java BPBD, in 2023 there were 970 disaster events in West Java Province, which resulted in 26 deaths and 98,860 people displaced. As a disaster-prone area, information about disasters is needed by the community to monitor disasters that occur. This research aims to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping the number of natural disasters in West Java Province used to store and display disaster distribution maps. This GIS was developed using HTML, CSS, and Javascript programming languages. The results of this research are in the form of a geographic information system mapping the number of natural disaster events in West Java Province where users can view data in tabulation and graphics.

Abstract

Coconut plantations play an important role in the plantation sector in Indonesia, especially in the Pemalang area. This article analyzes the distribution of coconut plantation production in Pemalang district/city using data on production and area of coconut cultivation based on Pemalang district/city. Production distribution analysis includes statistical methods and geographic mapping to identify coconut production patterns in each administrative region. The results of this analysis provide an overview of the significant differences in coconut production between districts/cities in Pemalang from 2018 to 2020. Apart from that, this analysis also provides an in-depth understanding of the distribution of coconut production in Pemalang District/City and will later become the basis for strategic planning to increase coconut plantation production, improving agricultural practices and improving the welfare of local communities and farmers.

Abstract

Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Pati Regency, during the 2018–2022 period the region frequently experienced natural disasters, particularly floods and landslides, across many areas.The high frequency of these disasters and the lack of proper mapping of affected areas present challenges that need to be addressed effectively. By utilizing technology and the K-Means clustering method, this study proposes an alternative solution to identify and map areas that are vulnerable to natural disasters. The results of the analysis indicate that Pati Regency can be divided into three clusters: Cluster 1 represents highly disaster-prone areas, accounting for 42.86% (9 regions); Cluster 2 represents disaster-prone areas, accounting for 19.04% (4 regions); and Cluster 3 represents areas with low disaster vulnerability, accounting for 38.1% (8 regions). The visualization results are presented as a classification map of regions based on their disaster vulnerability levels. This map can serve as a reference for local governments and relevant institutions in formulating more targeted and effective disaster mitigation policies.

Abstract

This study addresses the urgent issue of inefficient access to statistical data on the official BPS-Statistics Indonesia, Demak Regency website, particularly under conditions of increasing data volume and limited network stability. Users frequently experience slow response times and high data consumption due to complex web rendering and excessive network requests, which hinder timely access to critical information for decision-making. Therefore, this research aims to implement the RESTful API on the Flutter-based DALEM mobile application to improve the efficiency of access to BPS-Statistics Indonesia, Demak Regency statistical data. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, accompanied by comparative experimental testing of the official BPS website system. Evaluation parameters include response time, number of requests, and data transfer efficiency. The test results showed that mobile applications have an average response time of 437-826 ms with 1-10 requests per scenario, while websites require 1,368-1,790 ms with 80-91 requests. Quantitatively, mobile applications showed an increase in access time efficiency of more than 50% and a reduction in the number of requests by up to 88%. These findings prove that the JSON-based RESTful API architecture combined with Asynchronous programming on Flutter is able to significantly optimize client-server communication in regional statistical data services.
