Abstract

The goals of this study are to examine and analyze the financial accessibility of SMEs in Indonesia, to examine the impact of financial constraints on SMEs’ performance there, and to determine how SMEs’ performance in Indonesia is impacted by their involvement in the financial market. This analysis makes use of panel data from the 2009 and 2015 waves of the World Bank Enterprise Survey (ESWB). Quantitative analysis with panel data regression models utilizing the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) or Random Effect Model (REM) and Hausman test constitute the analytical framework for this study. Stata Software is used for all computations and estimation related to the model and its tests. The results show that financial accessibility has a greater influence on sales growth compared to labor growth in medium-sized businesses, while in small businesses financial accessibility has a smaller effect on sales growth compared to labor growth. The number of small companies that are not financially constrained is more than the number of companies participating in the financial market. And participation in the financial market has an influence on business performance, both in terms of sales growth and workforce growth.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas penguatan kelembagaan Koperasi Nelayan Minapari di Desa Karangjaladri, Kecamatan Parigi, Kabupaten Pangandaran. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai peran, tanggung jawab, dan manfaat sebagai anggota koperasi sehingga koperasi nelayan dapat menjadi pelopor dalam peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat yang tergabung di dalamnya, serta berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan di Kabupaten Pangandaran. Pendekatan yang dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan melibatkan identifikasi melalui pengumpulan informasi dengan wawancara dan diskusi dengan mitra. Proses ini dilanjutkan dengan penelaahan kebutuhan yang diperlukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi. Setelah kebutuhan masyarakat terkait penguatan kelembagaan koperasi diidentifikasi, materi penyuluhan disiapkan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran anggota koperasi. Melalui analisis terhadap peraturan, tata kelola, manajemen, dan keanggotaan, kegiatan PPM ini memberikan rekomendasi strategi untuk memperkuat kelembagaan koperasi. Rekomendasi ini mencakup peningkatan kerja sama dengan dinas terkait, penguatan manajemen keuangan, edukasi untuk pencegahan penyelundupan, dan diversifikasi usaha sehingga koperasi dapat lebih berdaya guna dan berkelanjutan, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan para nelayan anggotanya.

Abstract

UMKM berkontribusi signifikan terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) dan lapangan kerja di Jawa Barat, namun masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses pasar dan modal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak dari kemitraan terhadap kinerja UMKM dan faktor-faktor lain yang meningkatkan profitabilitas UMKM.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan verifikatif. Data yang terkumpul disajikan dalam grafik deskriptif dan diolah dengan model regresi menggunakan STATA16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya manfaat dari program kemitraan UMKM terhadap akses modal dan pasar, peningkatan operasional, dan akses kepada legalitas usaha. Model regresi menunjukkan pengaruh positif dari kemitraan dan umur usaha terhadap kinerja UMKM. Lokasi usaha,disisilain,menunjukan pengaruh negatif yang diduga karena lokasi usaha yang kurang strategis. Pengalaman pemilik usaha juga menunjukkan pengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja UMKM, yang mungkin terjadi karena ketidaksesuaian antara pengalaman yang dimiliki dengan jenis usaha yang dijalankan. Secara keseluruhan,penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kemitraan dan dukungan pemerintah dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan pertumbuhan UMKM di Jawa Barat.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to optimize the water tourism potential of Pangancraan Hamlet, Cijulang, Pangandaran as a driving force of the local economic growth. Despite its natural beauty, which is ideal for river tubing, the tourism sector remains underdeveloped due to limited promotion, uncoordinated tourism management, and declining community enthusiasm for managing tourism activities. Revitalization of the "Cijoelang Rafting" attraction will open up greater local economic opportunities and improve the well-being of the community, while also preserving the environment and local culture. The implementation of the program included four stages: preparation, implementation of counseling, monitoring, and forming an implementation agreement for community partnership programs (fostered villages) with Siliwangi University. The program included outreach efforts to rekindle the community spirit and raise awareness of the importance of effective tourism management. By using a participatory approach that involved the community in decision-making and project implementation, the program sought to ensure the sustainability of tourism management in Pangancraan Hamlet. The participants in the outreach program came from various generations and communities, ensuring that people from all segments of society could gain valuable experiences and insights that could be shared with other group members. Throughout the activity, the participants were actively engaged in interaction and communication.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to determine and analyze capital quality, credit quality, efficiency, profitability and company value in conventional general banking listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and the influence of capital quality, credit quality, efficiency and profitability on company value in conventional general banking listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a case study approach. The data needed in this research is secondary documentary data which contains the history of company finances published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The data and information obtained from the results of this research were analyzed using panel data multiple regression analysis. Based on the research results, it is known that partially capital quality and profitability have a positive effect on company value, while credit quality and efficiency have a negative effect on company value. Together, capital quality, credit quality, efficiency and profitability have a positive and significant effect on company value in conventional general banking listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. It is recommended for conventional general banking companies to improve capital quality and profitability as well as maintain the level of capital quality and efficiency, to increase company value.

This study examines the effect of the Pre-Employment Card Program in reducing the unemployment rate. This study uses data from the 2023 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) with logistic regression model analysis. The number of samples used was 1,481, consisting of 201 unemployed groups and 1,280 employed groups. Results show that apprenticeship experience and vocational education background significantly reduce the risk of unemployment, while the Pre-Employment card program and certified training show no significant impact. Higher education and income are negatively correlated with unemployment, while women are more at risk of unemployment. The findings emphasize the importance of practical experience and vocational education strategies that match labor market needs. This study provides insights for labor policies in developing countries.

Abstract

This research explores the scientific activities and general trends of SMEs performance. Bibliometrics analysis was used against 456 articles from 2000 to 2022 to see the general perspective of SMEs performance. The database used to collect data is Scopus with the search keyword "SMEs performance". Open Refine is used for data cleaning and harmonization. VOSviewer is then used for visualization and discussion. Based on the analysis results, 2020 is the year with the most publications. Ali Z. is the most prolific and influential writer in research. School of Business Management, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia, became affiliated with the most research. Malaysia is the country with the most research. The most active source is Sustainability (Switzerland). The Reference from Cenamor et al. in 2019, titled "How Entrepreneurial SMEs Compete via Digital Platforms: The Roles of Digital Platform Capability, Network Capability and Ambidexterity" is the reference with the most citations. Keywords SMEs performance is the most dominant keyword in SMEs research performance. This research provides detailed contributions and addresses gaps that future research must fill. This research also presents the analysis results for evaluating SME performance.

Abstract

This community mentoring activity aims to identify local potential that can be developed into creative economic products and formulate development strategies appropriate to the characteristics of tourist villages. The mentoring approach uses socialization and talk shows. The mentoring results indicate that creative economy development based on local potential, such as arts and crafts, traditional culinary arts, local culture, and ecotourism, can increase community income and strengthen local identity. Recommended development strategies include increasing human resource capacity, collaborating with various stakeholders, utilizing digital technology for promotion, and strengthening village institutions. In conclusion, developing a creative economy based on local potential requires a participatory, sustainable, and adaptive approach to the dynamics of the tourism market

Abstract

Desa Cikoneng di Kabupaten Ciamis memiliki potensi besar dalam komoditas pertanian, khususnya cabai. Namun, para anggota kelompok tani di desa ini masih menghadapi kendala dalam pengemasan produk yang cenderung konvensional, kurang menarik secara visual, dan belum memenuhi standar keamanan pangan. Permasalahan ini berdampak pada tingginya kerusakan pascapanen, rendahnya daya simpan, serta terbatasnya akses pasar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam inovasi pengemasan cabai, agar produk memiliki tampilan yang lebih menarik, higienis, dan tahan lama. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), dengan pendekatan bimbingan teknis berupa pemaparan materi, demonstrasi penggunaan alat Vacuum Sealer, praktik langsung, serta pengenalan teknik pengawetan alami berbasis edible coating menggunakan chitosan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam pengemasan cabai, baik dari aspek teknis maupun estetika. Luaran berupa peningkatan kapasitas petani, penggunaan teknologi pengemasan secara mandiri, dan publikasi ilmiah. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah produk serta mendukung keberlanjutan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Cikoneng.
