This study aims to analyze the effect of workplace ostracism on deviant behavior with emotional exhaustion and organizational based self-esteem as mediating variables. This research was conducted on all employees of PT Berjaya Pet Sumatra Padang. Sampling was carried out using the census method by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using path analysis which was processed using PLS software. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that workplace ostracism had a positive effect on deviant behavior. Emotional exhaustion has a positive effect on deviant behavior. In addition, the research results also found that organizational based self-esteem also had a negative effect on deviant behavior. If it is observed from the mediation effect test, it is found that emotional exhaustion and organizational based self-esteem are able to mediate the relationship between workplace ostracism and deviant behavior in employees of PT Berjaya PT Sumatra Padang.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influencetransformational leadership todeviant behaviorworkplace. In addition, this research also investigates the rolejob satisfaction as an intermediate mediating variabletransformational leadership anddeviant behavior at workplace. The object of the research is employees who work at the Teluk Bayur Type A Class II Navigation District Office. Research data is primary data collected using a survey method of 35 respondents by completely filling in the questionnaire distributed. The analysis method uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) withsoftware Smart-PLS 3. The theory used is the theory of transformational leadership, deviant behavior, and job satisfaction. The research results show that four statements are valid for the variablestransformational leadership andjob satisfaction. Meanwhile variablesdeviant behavior at work has five valid statement items. The results of the hypothesis test show that the influencetransformational leadership todeviant behavior in the workplace is not directly evident. However, indirectly, it is a relationshiptransformational leadership anddeviant behavior in workplace mediated byjob satisfaction. The study results have theoretical and practical implications.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work-family conflict on the work engagement of government employees in the West Pasaman Regency Education Service. In addition, this research investigates the role of the variable job satisfaction as a mediating variable between work-family conflict and work engagement. Four hypotheses were developed and tested using a quantitative approach. Theory. The theory used in research is resource conservation theory. Research data is primary data collected using survey methods. The variable is measured using a five-point Likert scale with a range of strongly disagree (1) to strongly agree (5). The data processing method uses a structural equation model by applying Smart-Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0 software. The final sample size was 30 respondents. Measurement models and structural assessment models are used to obtain research results. After passing the measurement model assessment, the structural model shows that the model has relevance and good predictive power. Hypothesis testing shows that job satisfaction mediates the relationship between work family conflict and job embeddedness with the mediation type Indirect-only mediation or full mediation. Apart from that, the research results also show that two direct influences are also significant, namely (i) the influence of work family conflict and job satisfaction, (ii) job satisfaction and job embeddedness.

Abstract

This research aims to prove the influence of service quality and destination image on interest in revisiting visitor satisfaction as a mediating variable in a case study at the Gandoriah Pariaman Beach tourist attraction. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study is all people who have visited the Gandoriah Pariaman Beach tourist attraction with a sample size of 100 respondents. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this research were assisted by SPSS 26 and Smart-PLS 3. The results of this research can be concluded that the variables of service quality and visitor satisfaction have a positive effect on interest in revisiting, service quality has a positive impact on visitor satisfaction, and the destination image variable has no effect on interest in returning to visit. and visitor satisfaction. Another result is that the visitor satisfaction variable mediates the relationship between service quality and interest in revisiting and visitor satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between destination image and interest in reviewing. Keywords: Service Quality, Destination Image, Visitor Satisfaction, Intention to Revisit
