Abstract

Pemadaman atau gangguan listrik seperti Power failure, Power SAG, Power Surge/Spike, Under Voltage, Frequency Variation, dapat mengakibatkan terganggunya kontinuitas pelayanan konsumen. pemadaman yang cukup lama dan  suplai daya listrik dari pembangkit tenaga listrik diesel (PLTD) tersedia secara cepat maka dibutuhkan suatu sistem kontrol yang dapat bekerja secara otomatis mengoperasikan genset dan  mengambil alih suplai daya listrik ke beban saat terjadi pemadaman dari PLN. Kontrol otomatis tersebut yaitu Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) dan Automatic Main Failure (AMF).Modul ATS dan  AMF dinyatakan dapat beroperasi dengan baik bila dapat bekerja sesuai fungsi yang dikehendaki atau direncanakan. Pengujian modul ATS dan  AMF dilakukan pada dua mode operasi, yaitu operasi manual dan  operasi otomatis.Dari hasil perancangan ledder diagram pada PLC CP1E memiliki 21 input, dimana 12 input eksternal dan  9 input internal. Sedangkan untuk perintah memiliki 26 output yaitu 8 output eksternal dan  18 output internal. Sehingga secara menyeluruh setelah pengujian dilakukan, Perancangan modul ATS dan  AMF dengan PLC CP1E untuk untuk otomatisasi kerja genset dinilai efektif dengan rata-rata total perbandingan antara waktu setting dengan waktu sebenarnya pada tahapan start 2,7% serta pada tahapan stop sebesar 3,4%.

Abstract

This thesis is about Improving Students Mastery Vocabulary Through Observe and Remember the game at the Seventh Grade SMPN 2 Palopo. The problem statement of this thesis: Is the use of Observe and Remember the game useful to improve the students’ vocabulary at the seventh grade SMPN 2 Palopo? The objective of the research: To find out whether or not the use of Observe and Remember the game is effective in improving students’ vocabulary in the seventh grade SMPN 2 Palopo. This research applied pre-experimental. The population of this research was the seventh-grade students of SMPN 2 Palopo. The population there is only one class that consists of 30 students, and the taking sample technique is a total sampling. The instrument of the research was a vocabulary test. The pre-test was given to know the basic ability of the students’ vocabulary and the post-test given to know the students’ improvement in students’ vocabulary after given the treatment and the research used to observe and remember the game. Then the test was calculated and analyzed using SPSS 20. The researcher can conclude that using Observe and Remember games is useful in improving students’ vocabulary at the seventh grade SMPN 2 Palopo. It was proven by a significant difference between the students’ mean score of pre-test and post-test. In the pre-test, the students’ mean score is 51.00, and the students’ score in the post-test is 92.33. Observe and remember the game can improve students’vocabulary because students are active in learning English. Besides, using the game can improve communication between students and teachers when learning processes. Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the lexical errors made by Google Translate and Bing Translator in translating Indonesian folklore "Princess Tandampalik" and "Sigarlaki and Limbat." The research applied the qualitative method. The data were analyzed using hybrid taxonomy of error analysis from Vilar, et al. The results of this research show that Google Translate made 103 errors in total which consist of 12 missing words, 19 errors in word order, 64 incorrect words, and 8 unknown words. Meanwhile, Bing Translator made 95 errors which consist of 5 missing words, 1 error in word order, 88 incorrect words, and 1 unknown word. Incorrect word is the most frequent error found in the translation resulted from Google Translate and Bing Translator with a total of 152 errors. The incorrect words mainly occurred in the translation of adjectives and adverbs in which Google Translate and Bing Translator mostly translated them into noun form. Thus, it can be concluded that both machine translators' performances are not different because they have their advantages and disadvantages.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how peer review improves writing skills for the tenth grade of SMA 13 Luwu Timur. It was applied before the experimental study, focusing on one group pretest and post-test design. The population in this research was the tenth grade of SMA 13 Luwu Timur. The research instrument used was a writing test (pretest and post-test). The data is analyzed by descriptive statistics and calculated using SPSS 22. The data analyzed by calculating the mean score and paired sample t-test revealed that the mean score of students in the post-test (55.08) was higher than the pretest (49.15). The t-count (3,118) is more significant than the t-table (2.179). This shows that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It can be said that using peer review in learning can be recommended to improve students' writing skills.

Abstract

This study centered on utilizing animated PowerPoint presentations as audiovisual aids for enhancing the listening skills of tenth-grade students at Islamic Senior High School of Al-Falah Lemahabang. The study employed a pre-experimental approach, employing pre-test and post-test to evaluate the influence of PowerPoint animation on listening skills among tenth-grade students at Islamic Senior High School of Al-Falah Lemahabang. The sample, comprising 24 students, was selected through random sampling. Both pre-test and post-test scores were optimized as research tools. Examination of the data demonstrated a notable contrast between the pre-test (59.79) and post-test (76.67) outcomes. The paired sample test results yielded a significance value of 0.001, below the threshold of 0.05, prompting the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1). This suggests that employing PowerPoint animation as an audiovisual learning tool effectively enhances listening skills in the context of the Islamic Senior High School of Al-Falah Lemahabang. It means that PowerPoint animation as audiovisual media can increase listening ability in tenth-grade students at Islamic Senior High School of Al-Falah Lemahabang in 2023/2024 academic years.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of interest rates, inflation, and non-performing loans on lending and their impact on the financial performance of banking companies listed on the IDX. The population of this study were all banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2015, totaling 43 banks. Sample selection through purposive sampling method. There are 21 companies that meet the criteria as the research sample so that the research data is 63. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the interest rate has a significant and negative effect on lending. Inflation partially has a negative and significant effect on lending. Non-Performing Loan partially has a negative and significant effect on lending. The partial distribution of credit has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. The interest rate has a positive and significant effect on the company's performance as proxied by ROA. Inflation partially has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Non-Performing Loans have a negative and significant effect on the financial performance of banks

Abstract

Abstract.. Wajo Regency is one of the areas that has enormous potential for coastal resources. One of the coastal areas in Wajo Regency which has a lot of coastal resource potential is Tempe District. The potential of coastal resources in Tempe District is the result of fishery production. Another potential resource that can be developed is tourism development. From this potential, it is necessary to develop coastal areas with sustainable management of coastal resources. This research was conducted to determine the condition of coastal resources and determine sustainable coastal resource management programs in the development of coastal areas in Tempe District. Sustainable coastal resource management is determined based on the results of the SWOT analysis. The results showed that the coastal area in Tempe District which has the highest level of development in conditions of potential coastal resources is located in Tempe Sub-District where the potential for development is tourism and fisheries, then the current level of development is located in Mattirotappareng Village and Salomenraleng Subdistrict with the potential for developing Fisheries and Agriculture . And the low level of development lies in Laelo Subdistrict Village with the potential for coastal resources that can be improved is Agriculture, from these results it is necessary to make several efforts to increase the potential, including preparing land for sustainable tourism development, carrying out the process of preserving and maintaining coastal ecosystems, managing and development of coastal resources in a sustainable manner, in order to grow the community's economy, coastal resources are also not exploited en masse and do not result in adverse impacts in the future.   Abstrak. Kabupaten Wajo merupakan salah satu wilayah yang mempunyai potensi sumber daya pesisir yang sangat besar,. Salah satu kawasan pesisir di Kabupaten Wajo yang memiliki potensi sumber daya pesisir yang banyak yaitu Kecamatan Tempe. Potensi sumber daya pesisir Kecamatan Tempe adalah hasil produksi perikanan. Potensi sumber daya lain yang dapat dikembangkan adalah pengembangan pariwisata. Dari potensi tersebut maka diperlukan upaya pengembangan kawasan pesisir dengan pengelolaan sumber daya pesisir yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi sumber daya pesisir dan menentukan program pengelolaan sumber daya pesisir yang berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan kawasan pesisir di Kecamatan Tempe. Pengelolaan sumber daya pesisir berkelanjutan ditetapkan berdasarkan hasil dari analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa wilayah pesisir di Kecamatan Tempe yang memiliki tingkat perkembangan kondisi potensi sumber daya pesisir tertinggi terletak pada di Kelurahan Tempe yang potensi pengembangannya adalah pariwisata dan Perikanan, kemudian tingkat perkembangan yang sedang terletak pada Desa Mattirotappareng Dan Kelurahan Salomenraleng dengan potensi pengembangan Perikanan dan Pertanian. Dan tingkat perkembangan yang rendah terletak pada Desa Kelurahan Laelo dengan potensi sumber daya pesisir yang bisa ditingkatkan adalah Pertanian, dari hasil tersebut maka diperlukan beberapa upaya peningkatan potensi, diantaranya adalah menyiapkan lahan untuk pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan, melakukan proses pelestarian dan pemeliharaan ekosistem pesisir, pengelolaan dan pengembangan sumber daya pesisir yang benar secara berkelanjutan, agar menumbuhkan perekonomian masyarakat, sumber daya pesisir juga tidak tereksploitasi secara massal dan tidak mengakibatkan dampak buruk dikemudian hari.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Ulil Amri Khalis, 2022 "Priority of Land Provision Locations in Efforts to Fulfill Public Green Open Spaces in the Urban Area of Bulukumba". Supervised by Jufriadi and Ilham Yahya Green Open Space (RTH) so far has an important role in an urban area, especially Public Green Open Space (RTH) in realizing a sustainable urban area. The purpose of this research is to find out potential land so that it can be prioritized in an effort to fulfill Public Green Open Spaces (RTH) and find out the direction and level of need for Public Green Open Spaces (RTH) in Urban Areas of Bulukumba Regency. This study uses the method of analysis of proportions, potential and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of field surveys and analysis, the potential for Green Open Spaces in each urban area still has great potential for development but is constrained by the provision of land whose land ownership status belongs to the community and based on the results of a swot analysis for direction and level of need for Public Green Open Spaces (RTH) in the Urban Area of Bulukumba can be done in various ways, namely: Capture and take advantage of existing opportunities by maximizing strengths to minimize weaknesses and threats. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out what factors influence the growth of slum settlements in Sub Cambaya, District Ujung Tanah, Makassar City. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach, where data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to the sample who became respondents in this study. The results of this questionnaire will be processed using a chi-square analysis Based on the results of the analysis conducted, it is known that the factors that have a strong influence on the growth of slum settlements in Sub Cambaya, District Ujung Tanah, Makassar City are income factors, land ownership status, building conditions, and drinking water supply conditions.

Abstract

Sustainable Management of Coastal Resources for the Development of Coastal Areas in South Galesong District, Takalar Regency" This study aims to determine the potential that exists in the coastal area of South Galesong District in the development of coastal areas and strategies in developing coastal areas of South Galesong District, Takalar Regency. The population in the coastal area is the target of this study. The data collection approach is observational, it is decided that sustainable resource management. Another potential resource that can be developed is tourism development. From this potential, it is necessary to develop coastal areas with sustainable management of coastal resources. The results showed that the coastal area in South Galesong District with the highest level of development of coastal resource potential was in Bontorannu Village, where there was potential for the development of tourism and other types of fish, as well as Mangindara and Bonto Kanang villages which had a moderate level of development and potential for milkfish development. shrimp, coral reefs, seagrass beds, and mangroves. To maximize utilization, management, techniques for catching and processing fishery products, as well as a marketing system as a center for economic development for fishing communities in Takalar Regency, develop an integrated fishery area around the coastal area of South Galesong District. Development of better facilities and infrastructure for the operationalization of the coastal area of South Galesong District.
