Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pendingan, Kecamatan Muara Lakitan, sebagai respons terhadap melimpahnya limbah kelapa sawit yang belum dimanfaatkan dan masih dibakar terbuka sehingga menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah tandan kosong dan pelepah sawit menjadi briket sebagai energi terbarukan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis pembuatan briket, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi melalui angket keterampilan. Hasil angket menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam mengenali bahan, melakukan karbonisasi, mencampur dan mencetak briket, serta memahami keselamatan kerja, dengan rata-rata peningkatan keterampilan sebesar 60,1%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa program berhasil memberdayakan masyarakat secara teknis dan meningkatkan pemanfaatan limbah sawit berbasis energi terbarukan.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of physics e-modules designed with a guided inquiry approach and supported by PhET simulations in enhancing students’ learning outcomes and learning interest. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted by gathering studies indexed in Scopus, Google Scholar, Garuda, and SINTA between October 10 and November 12, 2025. From 87 studies identified, the PRISMA filtering process selected 50 articles that met all eligibility criteria. Rayyan software was used for screening, Mendeley for reference management, and Excel for descriptive analysis. The review indicates that 84% of the studies reported improved learning outcomes, 78% noted increased learning interest, and 66% showed simultaneous improvement in both variables. These results are influenced by the structured phases of guided inquiry, the interactive design of e-modules, and the visual dynamics of PhET simulations. Future research is encouraged to broaden thematic focus and examine moderating variables for deeper analytical insights

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' understanding of physics learning material is still lacking and the lack of learning media and the lack of student creativity in finding learning resources. The purpose of this study is to develop an Android-based interactive learning media using Smart Apps Ceator (SAC) on practical measurement materials. This research is an R&D development research (Research and Development) using a 4-D development model consisting of Definition, Design, Development and Dissemination. At the Development stage there is a practicality test and the subjects of this research are physics teachers and students. The results of the practicality test that have been obtained are with a practicality score of 86% for the practicality test of physics teachers with very practical criteria, a practicality score of 88.4% is obtained for small group practicality trials and a practicality score of 92 is obtained, 2% for the practicality trial of a large group (field group) with very practical criteria. So it can be concluded that android-based interactive learning media using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) on measurement material through practicality tests with the practicality test assessment questionnaire instrument that has been carried out has met the very practical criteria so that it is feasible to be used for students in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compile a systematic literature review to evaluate the effectiveness of the discovery learning model in improving critical thinking skills and science process skills among high school students. The importance of improving 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking skills (KBKr) and science process skills (KPS), is a major focus in education today. The Discovery Learning (DL) model is highly relevant because it places students at the center of learning, encouraging them to actively seek, analyze, and conclude their own findings. The method used was a systematic review of 50 scientific articles. These articles were searched for in the Publish or Perish and Spiece databases, with publication years limited to 2022 to 2025. The subjects of the study were research documents discussing the implementation of DL and the results of measuring its impact on high school students' critical thinking and science process skills. The results of the review concluded that the application of the discovery learning model has been proven to significantly improve high school students' critical thinking skills. In addition, the effectiveness of this model is optimized when combined with interactive teaching media, such as picture storybooks

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of Project-Based Learning (PjBL)-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) as a strategy to improve students' conceptual understanding and learning motivation. The analysis was conducted through a literature review of 50 journals selected from a total of 200 reviewed journals taken from Publish or Perish and the Spiece database. The results of the study show that the PjBL model is able to strengthen students' conceptual understanding because they are directly involved in implementing authentic projects, working collaboratively, and trying to find solutions independently. In addition, various studies also show that PjBL contributes to increasing learning motivation, which is reflected in increased interest, enthusiasm, and student activity during the project completion process. The findings from the reviewed literature include the implementation of PjBL in science, mathematics, biology, and chemistry learning. Overall, this study confirms that PjBL-based LKPD is a tool with great potential in helping students understand the material while motivating them to learn actively. Therefore, the development of PjBL-based LKPD is recommended for implementation in current learning.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the development of practical instructions based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) as an effort to improve students' learning outcomes and communication skills through a literature review approach. The writing of this article was motivated by the need for a learning model that not only focuses on cognitive aspects, but also strengthens communication skills and understanding concepts through learning experiences that are relevant to life contexts. The method used is a literature review by examining various appropriate research results, including articles in national journals indexed by SINTA (S1–S5) which discuss the application of CTL in practicum activities. Data were analyzed using a descriptive-comparative approach to reveal patterns, effectiveness, and supporting factors and challenges in implementing CTL in practicum-based learning. The results of the study show that CTL-based practicum guides consistently provide a positive impact on improving learning outcomes through active student involvement and direct learning experiences, as well as helping develop scientific communication skills. It is hoped that this article will become a reference source for educators and researchers in designing learning strategies that are contextual, collaborative, and in line with the competency needs of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to design and validate an inquiry based instructional design for Basic Physics laboratories integrated with local context at the higher education level. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, limited to the stages of analysis, design, development, and expert validation. The developed products consisted of a student laboratory manual and a lecturer guide structured into pre-laboratory, in-laboratory, and post-laboratory inquiry phases, with local context positioned as a source of authentic physical phenomena and problem situations. Expert validation was conducted by instructional design experts, physics content experts, and learning media experts using a Likert scale based validation instrument analyzed with Aiken’s V coefficient. The validation results indicate that the instructional design demonstrates a high level of validity and feasibility across conceptual, material, and media aspects, confirming its suitability for use in Basic Physics laboratory learning. This study contributes a systematically validated instructional design framework for inquiry based physics laboratories that integrates local context as a core component of laboratory activities, providing a theoretically grounded and practically feasible design for future implementation and effectiveness studies

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap pembelajaran REACT (Relating Experiencing Applying Cooperating Transfering). Peningkatan mutu pendidikan formal menjadi isu mendesak, yang sangat ditentukan oleh efektivitas proses pembelajaran dikelas. Analisis kebutuhan, yang melibatkan observasi kelas dan wawancara, mengidentifikasi permasalahan krusial. Proses pembelajaran IPA didominasi oleh metode ceramah konvensional tanpa variasi media dan sumber belajar yang digunakan guru masih menggunakan buku paket dan LKS seadanya tanpa ada inovasi baru yang lebih menarik, sehingga bersifat monoton dan membosankan. Kondisi ini menyebabkan siswa cenderung pasif, kurang eksplisit dalam bertanya atau berpendapat, dan sulit fokus. Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi kelas serta wawancara guru dan siswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan analisis data Model Miles dan Hubberman melalui tiga tahapan, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru IPA dan peserta didik MTs Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, diperoleh data sebesar 42,85% yang dikategorikan kurang dalam penerapan pembelajaran. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator, sehigga aktivitas dan partisifasi siswa kurang aktif. Solusi yang diajukan adalah penerapan  model pembelajaran yang inovatif seperti model pembelajaran REACT (Relating Experiencing Applying Cooperating Transfering) yang menuntut siswa menemukan konsep secara mandiri melalui keterlibatan pengalaman dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interatif dan berpusat pada siswa. Diharapkan model ini dapat mengubah paradigma pembelajaran, sehingga lebih menyenangkan, efektif dan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran IPA di sekolah menengah masih di dominasi oleh metode pembelajaran tradisional, seperti ceramah dan pemberian tugas. Hal ini membuat siswa menjadi pasif dan kurang terlibat dalam pembelajaran,yang  menyebabkan rendahnya motivasi untuk belajar, sedikitnya partisipasi siswa dalam diskusi, dan pembelajaran yang terasa sulit dan tidak relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, keterbatasan bahan ajar membuat pembelajaran kurang efektif dan kurang mendukung penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa dalam mengunakan model Teams Games Tournament pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas VII SMPN Muara Lakitan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian guru mata pelajaran IPA dan tiga peserta didik yang terdiri atas siswa berkemampuan tinggi, siswa berkemampuan sedang, dan siswa berkemampuan rendah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran IPA disokolah masih didominasi oleh metode ceramah dan perpusat pada guru, pengunaan bahan ajar masih terbatas pada buku. Siswa merasa kesulitan memahami konsep fisika karena hanya mengunakan metode ceramah. Sehingga rendahnya motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan partisipasi, kerja sama, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Salah satu pilihan yang dapat diterapkan adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT).    Kata Kunci: Teams Games Tournament (TGT), respon guru, respon siswa, motivasi belajar, pembelajaran IPA

Abstract

This study aims to determine how student learning motivation after applying the Predict, Observe and Explain (POE) learning model. The method used in this study is an experimental method with the population, namely students of SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau class X. Based on the population, sampling is carried out in class X IPA 2 using the Simple Random Sampling technique because the sample is a randomly taken population. The instrument used is in the form of a motivation questionnaire from each student, where the test results will be seen based on motivation indicators and percentages. From the results of the analysis, 94% of students have very good motivation, 6% of students have good learning motivation, 0% of students have less learning motivation, and 0% of students have very less learning motivation. Based on the results of the analysis obtained, it can be concluded that after the implementation of the POE learning model students have high motivation to do physics learning. This can be seen in the percentage which in the table shows excellent and good data analysis.
