Abstract

This article aims to explain Said Nursi's thoughts on the Creation of Nature and criticism of the views of naturalist philosophers. In his work, Risalah Nur tries to reveal the concept of the Creation of Nature According to Bediuzzaman Said Nursi (based on his criticism of the philosophy of Naturalism). To build this works, the authors use a philosophical approach with descriptive and analytical methods in his concept of the Creation of Nature with his logical thinking so that it can be a critique of the concept of Naturalism. Analyze the data by describing Nursi’s thoughts and analyzing them both by comparing and contrasting with the thougths of other figures in muslim philosophy and Naturalism. In his study on the creation of nature, as a paradigm Nursi used philosophy method in his critique of the philosophy of Naturalism. Bediuzzaman stated that in fact Nature was Allah’s creation, as this proved the testimony of the facts presented in Islam to mankind in humans and objects in this nature. The essence of the nature creation is to reflect or prove the existence of God. The positions of God as an existence that controls and creates nature. which is contrary to the philosophical understanding of Naturalism which assumes that nature was created by itself or without the God.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the law of sexual consent or sexual consent according to maqasid sharia. Lots of approval and attraction to women, molestation, persecution that causes feelings of oppression and speech. Even in the West there is violence, so that Western women demand the freedom of their body rights. From this sexual agreement, feminism aims to seek justice or benefit for them. In compiling this article, the author uses critical analysis methods to explain the concept of feminism and sexual consent. The results of this study conclude that sexual consent according to Westerners is a solution so that no more treatment is recommended. In fact, Muslims also participate and agree to the concept. This is, which is contrary to maqashid shari'ah or the existence of shari'ah. So that consent and acceptance will only cause harm.

Abstract

Masalah Keadilan Sosial tetap aktual meski tak baru, sulit diselesaikan karena situasi wilayah berbeda. Artikel ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis dengan contoh kontemporer untuk menjaga relevansi diskusi. Nursi, melalui Rasā'il Nūr, mengulas keadilan sebagai pencerahan atas persoalan yang belum teratasi. Nursi menegaskan bahwa harmoni dan ketertiban dalam kehidupan, berakar pada nilai-nilai Islam dalam Al-Qur'an. Ia berargumen bahwa Al-Qur'an menjadi cara mengembalikan martabat kemanusiaan. Rasā'il Nūr, interpretasi Al-Qur'an oleh Nursi, mengubah pandangan Thullabbunnur dari perspektif Barat ke perspektif Islam dalam era sekularisasi Turki, bertujuan untuk mewujudkan keadilan sosial.

Abstract

The majority of transnational Islamic groups in Indonesia come from the Middle East, which emphasizes various missions, such as purification and political ideology, and some others are Salafi-jihadist. Turkish transnational movement's mission mostly is religious da'wah through culture and education without spreading any political ideology, including the Nur Movement, the students of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi. Amid suspicions about the increasingly widespread cases of extremism and radicalism in Indonesia by transnational groups that have brought the antithesis of Indonesian Islam, the Nur Movement has been able to enter and develop. This article analyzes the genealogy and distribution of the Nur Movement and its impact on the coloring of Islam in Indonesia. This type of research is qualitative, using literature data collection methods, interviews, and observations conducted in 2023. Based on the analysis, the genealogy of the Nur Movement is the interest of Indonesian academics in studying the Risale-i Nur and the opportunities that the Nur Movement has from the flexibility of Indonesian Islam. The Nur Movement can develop in Indonesia because they collaborate with the locals, being adaptive and inclusive.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengupas tentang makna tazkiyah al-Nafs yang terkandung dalam hadis Nabi SAW. Hakikatnya manusia merupakan makhluk yang memiliki entitas fisik dan non-fisik. Non-fisik meliputi jiwa, ruh, dan qalb, aql di mana jika terjangkit penyakit maka sulit untuk disembuhkan dibanding penyakit fisik, karena sifatnya yang mudah untuk berubah. Sehingga para psikolog baik Muslim maupun Barat ikut serta dalam mengambil peran dalam penyelesaian persoalan tersebut. Dalam kajian psikolog Barat, persoalan tersebut terhenti hanya pada manusia sendiri, tidak melibatkan hal-hal yang metafisik. Untuk itu, perlunya penelitian ini mengangkat persoalan tazkiyah al-Nafs dalam perspektif hadis. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian kepustakaan (Library Research) dengan metode analisis konten (contens-analysis) pendekatan hadis dengan sanad perawi yang muttasil. Sehingga menghasilkan beberapa poin di antaranya bahwa tazkiyah an-Nafs merupakan solusi Muslim untuk menyucikan jiwanya dari beberapa penyakit manusia, seperti berbangga diri, sombong, kikir, dan lain sebagainya. Bahkan hadis Nabi pun juga dijelaskan bagaimana seorang Muslim mampu mengkondisikan dirinya dari berbagai penyakit jiwa, yaitu dengan shalat, puasa, dzikir, dan masih banyak lagi metode dalam Islam untuk tazkiyah an-Nafs.

Abstract

Islam telah lama menghargai ilmu pengetahuan, dan jika dilihat dari akar sejarahnya, dapat dilihat bahwa warisan ilmu pengetahuan dalam Islam dikembangkan dan diperluas bersamaan dengan Islam itu sendiri. Tradisi pengetahuan dalam Islam akan dibahas dalam artikel ini. Artikel ini ditulis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analisis. Perintah membaca (iqraa’) diberikan kepada Rasulullah SAW dalam surat Al-‘Alaq ayat 1–5, dan akibatnya, terciptalah berbagai makna membaca dalam wahyu pertama yang diterima Rasulullah SAW, seperti mempelajari, mengkaji, meneliti, dan menyadari ciri-ciri sesuatu yang akan bermanfaat bagi umat manusia. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa keilmuan Islam memiliki sejarah yang panjang dan dimulai sejak munculnya Islam, ketika Rasulullah menggunakan berbagai metode untuk membangun tradisi ilmiah. Dari temuan penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tradisi Rasulullah SAW menggunakan berbagai metode untuk membangun peradaban berdasarkan Al-Qur'an dan As-Sunnah sebagai landasan peradaban ilmiah. Keilmuan Islam berawal dari masa ketika Islam pertama kali muncul. Landasan Islam seperti yang ada sekarang adalah tafsir (tafaqquh) Nabi Muhammad SAW terhadap Al-Qur'an, yang diturunkan kepadanya secara berurutan pada periode awal Mekkah, akhir Mekkah, dan Madinah.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the meaning of Islamization of Contemporary Science and Scientization of Islam (Pengilmuan Islam), as well as a paradigm comparison of the two. Both have a role in integrating Islam and science, which has the aim of eliminating the dichotomy between science and Islam. So, both of these come forward to play a role in this goal. The study of the integration of Islam and science is very thick and has many styles in Indonesia in particular, such as: Pohon Ilmu, Integrasi Interkoneksi Sarang laba-laba, Twins Tower, Roda Pedati, Model Intan Berlian Ilmu, islamization of contemporary science, scientization of Islam and so on. However, the author only examines the two styles, namely Islamization and scientization of Islam. This research uses library research with the method of comparative analysis. So that it produces several points, including that the islamization of science and the scientification of Islam have the same goal, namely to integrate religion and science, so that there is no dichotomy between the two.  However, there are differences in the paradigm of the two, Islamization of science is said to be mentioned from context to text, but the author does not agree with that opinion, rather agreeing that Islamization of science is a way of Islamizing or returning the meaning of science to the original, so that there is no mixture with secular science. While the Islamization of science is reading an object from text to context, in the author's opinion this is more to answer the wonders of the text in the Qur'an. From the conclusion, if all styles or types of integration in Indonesia agree and join, then the scientific tradition in Islam will be more advanced and developed. Abstract

Malaysia is a country that has a geography that is not too big, but in the development of its civilization, Malaysia is one of the countries in Asia that has become the center of attention of Western scholars since the mid-19th Century. This article attempts to examine and review the development of Islamic civilization in Malaysia from a socio-historical perspective using descriptive and analytical methods. It was found that Malaysia has a unique society because they are a very polite type of society from countries in Asia, very kind, cleaner in the way they live and also beautiful, you could say Malaysia is a miniature of Asia. Therefore, this country is very interesting to study about the Islamic situation that is developing in it, it is found that there are already many Islamic universities that flow into various cultures and thoughts. It is certain that Malaysia has the roots of religious movements that accompany its civilization, with many of these roots being found in Islamic civilization. Seeing the development of Islam in Malaysia until it becomes the official religion reinforces this. Islam and Malay-Malaysia become a mosaic of identities that are inherent and cannot be separated from one another.

Abstract

This article aims to present Quranic learning training using the UMMI method at SDN 002 Glinggang, Sampung, Ponorogo, with a focus on expanding knowledge and facilitating Quranic learning for participants more easily. The problem faced by the participants is the lack of clear methods in learning the Quran. To address this challenge, the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) team from UNIDA Gontor organized training and education on Quranic learning methods for students and teachers. This community service method includes stages of preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. It is hoped that the learning and training activities using the UMMI method can become a method that is consistently used in teaching the Quran to all students of SDN 002 Glinggang, Sampung, Ponorogo, and improve the accuracy of their Quranic readings. The results of this community service are evident in the improvement of Quranic reading quality among students at SDN 002 Glinggang, Sampung, Ponorogo.

Abstract

Abstract: Westernization seems to have affected the way Indonesian society thinks. This is evidenced by the identity and character crisis as well as a lifestyle that is slowly starting to ignore spiritual elements. In response to this, Universitas Darussalam Gontor (UNIDA) took an important step by establishing the Center for Islamic and Occidental Studies (CIOS) which focuses on the study of Islam and occidentalism. This article analyzes the role of CIOS in achieving the goal of restoring Islamic civilization. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through books, journals, and media related to the topic. The study found that westernization significantly affected the intellectual and political aspects of Indonesian society.Keywords: CIOS, Occidentalism, westernisation, orientalism, Islamic civilization.
