Abstract

Empathy is essential for people working in various fields of life, such as business, education, medicine and more. Conversely, not having empathy can lead to criminality in various forms, such as psychopathic violence, rape, and child trafficking. Teachers and prospective teachers, therefore, must have the ability to instill empathy. This study aims to understand the various strategies and factors that influence the cultivation of empathy. The method used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which is a process of activities carried out in a participatory manner in learning with students. Direct involvement to conduct field observations, socialization and strengthening empathy towards students. The results showed that the cultivation of empathy can be done by first, increasing self-awareness through reflection on the various experiences that each student has; second, honing active listening skills; third, observing and recognizing children's emotions; and fourth, reading literature and case studies. While the challenge factors that need to be understood in strengthening the empathy of PIAUD students are emotional balance; lack of practical experience; and academic stress, namely the pressure of academic duties and responsibilities.

Abstract

This project aimed to find and evaluate successful ways to teach financial literacy to Indonesian children in their early years. The main problem in this study was children's lack of knowledge about basic economic concepts, which can impact their future ability to manage resources. This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method throughout the study's planning, implementation, and reporting stages. To collect literature sources four databases were used: Google Scholar, Open Knowledge, Sage, and Science Direct. The literature used as research material was selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria to improve the quality and relevance of the evidence used in the study, ensuring that the findings obtained were robust and credible. The findings of this study indicate that the use of direct strategies, the use of educational media and games, the habit of saving, and a combination of strategies have helped improve children’s understanding of financial literacy. Collaboration between teachers and parents is essential to teach financial literacy. The findings of this study highlight the importance of incorporating financial literacy into the Indonesian education curriculum, with the help of appropriate media and child-based learning, as well as the need for strong collaboration between schools and parents to create a conducive environment for the development of children’s financial skills.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the provision of rewards in learning as an effort to increase early childhood learning activity. In particular, this study examines the efforts made by teachers in giving rewards through praise, awards, gifts, and signs of respect. The research used descriptive qualitative data collection through documentation, documentation, and structured and free interviews with four teachers. The collected data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which included three stages: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that various forms of rewards significantly increase children's learning activity. Praise and rewards provide a valuable sense of recognition to increase children's motivation and confidence. Simple gifts, such as snacks and stationery, create a fun learning atmosphere, while signs of respect, such as verbal acknowledgments and claps, reinforce the child's social engagement. This study concludes that the application of various reward strategies is effective in creating a conducive learning environment, encouraging children to participate more actively in the learning process. This finding is expected to be a reference for educators in designing innovative and responsive learning methods to children's needs.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a guide book of quality management of inclusive islamic education in Madrasah as effort to realize of implementation of inclusive education which effective and efficient. It becomes very important because management of inclusive education is whole process of joint activities in the field of education which includes planning, organization, management, and evaluation by using and utilizing facilities availables; personnel, material, and spiritual. Optimizing the quality culture in management of inclusive education can be done with the development of the spirits, values and beliefs of the school, development of school climate and school culture.

Abstract

At an institute of PAUD one of management that is important to be attentive is management design environment either a design the interior/indoor and outdoor/exterior. It is considering this institution is the protege on children in the golden age is the most rapid development of the brain. The kind of research this is qualitative and the data collection by interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis with a groove the reduction of the data, display data, and verification/conclusion. The results of research shows the management of environmental design early childhood education in TK Ceria and RA Sahabat been through the process of good management the planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. The environment for early childhood education facilities indoor and outdoor in TK Ceria had been optimal. RA Sahabat in learning more from the environment as a source of learning.

Abstract

Semangat wirausaha dan pendidikan kewirausahaan telah tumbuh di mana-mana. Namun idealnya semangat ini ditanamkan sedini mungkin. Selama ini belum ada TK yang serius mendukung semangat wirausaha ini. Baru TK Khalifah yang mempunyai pendidikan tauhid dan entrepreneurship. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada: (1) bagaimana implementasi pendidikan entrepreneurship di TK Khalifah Sukonandi Yogyakarta, (2) kegiatan-kegiatan pendidikan entrepreneurship di TK Khalifah, serta (3) faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat pendidikan entrepreneurship anak usia dini di TK Khalifah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Analisis data dengan alur reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi/kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan entrepreneurship pada anak usia dini di TK Khalifah Sukonandi dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan-kegiatan pendidikan entrepreneurship di TK Khalifah Sukonandi adalah (a) anak diberikan jadwal untuk menjaga supermarket kecil pada saat market day di sekolah, (b) anak diajak kegiatan untuk berjualan di sekitar sekolah, (c) anak diajak kegiatan jumat berbagi, itu dari hasil penjualan dibagikan hasilnya ke orang-orang yang kurang mampu, (d) anak belajar membuat suatu kerajian yang itu bisa dijadikan karya yang dapat dijual. Beberapa faktor pendukung implementasi entrepreneurship pada anak usia dini di TK Khalifah Sukonandi Yogyakarta adalah: (a) lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif dan kooperatif, (b) Komponen sekolah yang kompeten, (c) orang tua siswa yang kooperatif (d) perencanaan yang matang. Adapun penghambatnya anak yang terkadang kurang termotivasi dan kurang menghayati nilai-nilai kewirausahaan yang diajarkan.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah masih banyak diusianya anak usia dini masih mengalami masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang pesat dengan bawaan sifat peserta didik yang masih egosentris dan dalam melakukan tindakan masih dalam tuntutan orang dewasa dan pendidik. Dewasa ini anak pada usai 4-5 tahun dalam merumuskan gagsan berfikir secara logis dan berfikir memecahkan masalah masih dalam taraf ingin tahu lebih mengenai kegiatan pembelajaran. Adanya strategi proses pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik menjadi angin segar dalam dunia pendidikan khususnya pendidikan anak usia dini. Meskipun dalam proses yang masih banyak ditemukan beberapa teknik pengajaran pendidik yang masih menumpang dalam kurikulum sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetauhi implementasi pendekatan saintifik dalam megembangkan kognitif anak dan bagaimana faktor penghambat dan pendukung adanya penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam mengembangkan kognitif anak pada kelompok A di TK Nurul Ummah Kotagede Yogyakarta.Jenis penelitian ini mengguakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan objek penelitan TK Nurul Ummah. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentas. Sedangkan validitas data yang diperoleh melalui Triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendektan sanitifk dalam mengembangkan kognitif anak pada kelompok A di TK nurul Ummah sudah berjalan dengan baik, ditunjukkan dengan proses pembelajaran yang sudah sesuai dengan perencanaan pembelajaran, pesera didik yang aktif bertanya, pengaadaaan mediaa yang kreatif dan hasil karya yang terselesaikan dengan baik oleh peserta didik. Faktor pengambat dan pendukung yaitu faktor pendukung; kepala sekolah yang antusias baikanya dalam mengembangkan kualitas dan kuantitas sekolahan , Pendidik yang berkompeten dalam menyampaikan proses pembelajaran pendektan saintifik, Peserta didik yang aktif bertanya, Sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung. Faktor penghambat; Bahan media yang sulit deedapatkan, waktu pembelajaran yang kurang efektif.

Abstract

Kurikulum kombinasi diharapkan dapat menyediakan keterampilan dasar yang relevan dengan kebutuhan anak dan merespons perubahan dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau praktik manajemen kurikulum kombinasi dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran di pendidikan anak usia dini. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi lapangan (field research), menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua di TK Cipta Kreasi Bangsa (CKB), yang memberikan informasi terkait penerapan kurikulum kombinasi di sekolah tersebut. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik, yang mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama terkait praktik manajemen kurikulum kombinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik manajemen kurikulum kombinasi mencakup analisis kebutuhan anak, pelaksanaan kurikulum terintegrasi, evaluasi berkala, kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan sekolah, serta penggunaan teknologi. Elemen-elemen tersebut tercermin dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kurikulum, yang memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran di pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum kombinasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mendukung perkembangan optimal anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis berbagai jenis media edukatif yang berkontribusi dalam mendorong kreativitas anak usia dini melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Kreativitas merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam perkembangan anak yang dapat ditumbuhkan melalui stimulasi yang tepat, salah satunya melalui penggunaan media edukatif. Studi ini menganalisis 20 artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2018 hingga 2024, yang dipilih melalui proses seleksi sistematis menggunakan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi tertentu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media edukatif seperti permainan edukatif, alat peraga interaktif, media digital, serta bahan daur ulang, memiliki potensi signifikan dalam meningkatkan imajinasi, berpikir divergen, dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah pada anak. Selain itu, strategi implementasi yang melibatkan pendekatan tematik, eksploratif, dan berbasis proyek turut berperan dalam mengoptimalkan fungsi media edukatif tersebut. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pendidik, praktisi, dan pengembang kurikulum dalam merancang lingkungan pembelajaran yang kreatif dan menyenangkan bagi anak usia dini.

Abstract

Fall risk is one of the most frequently occurring patient safety incidents in hospitals and has become a global concern in efforts to improve the quality of healthcare services. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence nurses’ compliance with standard operational procedures for fall prevention in hospital settings. The study employed a literature review approach by examining articles from reputable online databases. Three relevant articles were analyzed, revealing that factors such as attitude, knowledge, educational level, age, workload, length of work experience, availability of facilities, and the role of the head nurse are significantly associated with nurses’ compliance with standard operational procedures. Nurses with positive attitudes and knowledge, higher educational backgrounds, and supportive work environments tend to demonstrate higher adherence to fall prevention SPO. Nurses’ compliance with fall prevention standard operational procedures is influenced by multiple factors. Therefore, hospitals need to implement comprehensive interventions to enhance adherence and patient safety.
