Abstract

This study aims to analyze the simultaneous influence of AI Technology, Principal Leadership, and Motivation on Teacher Performance in East Lombok. Using multiple linear regression, data were collected via a questionnaire distributed to 9 selected teachers via purposive sampling. The analysis showed that AI Technology had a significant positive influence on Teacher Performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.588 and a p-value of 0.035, while Principal Leadership and Motivation had negative effects, with regression coefficients of -0.165 and -0.003, respectively, though the effect of motivation was very small. This regression model explains 84.2% of the variation in Teacher Performance, with AI Technology having the greatest influence. Simultaneous tests showed that the overall regression model was significant (p-value for F = 0.035), indicating that all three independent variables contributed to improving teacher performance. This research emphasizes the importance of applying AI Technology in education, as well as the need to improve school principals' leadership styles and deepen understanding of teacher motivation.

Abstract

The advancement of science and technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 has impacted various aspects of life, including education. In response, the Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation Number 36 and 37 of 2018, reintegrated informatics subjects into the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. However, the readiness of schools to implement this curriculum remains a challenge, particularly due to the lack of competent teachers in informatics and limited facilities. This Community Service activity aims to enhance students' understanding and skills in basic computer networks through training and mentoring at MAN 1 Selong and SMK-Qurrota’ayun. The training involved lecturers and students from the Informatics Education Study Program and was conducted over three intensive sessions. The methods used included theoretical material delivery, practical simulations, and small group mentoring to ensure that each participant could understand and apply the given material. Pretest results indicated that the majority of participants had a low understanding of computer networks. However, after the training, there was a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills, as shown by the posttest results. The "very-understanding" level increased from 0% to 5%, "understanding" from 2% to 40%, while "less understanding" decreased from 11% to 45%, and "not understanding at all" from 87% to 10%. The conclusion from this activity is that hands-on training methods and intensive mentoring effectively enhance students' technical competencies in computer networks. This training model can serve as a reference for other skill development programs in the field of education

Abstract

Car Free Day (CFD) events offer a practical venue for health promotion and early detection of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). This community service program aimed to conduct blood pressure and random blood glucose screening while delivering brief NCD prevention education to the public at CFD Taman Rinjani, Selong. The activity was implemented on 30 November 2025 and involved 80 participants. The program included on-site measurements of blood pressure and random blood glucose, descriptive grouping of results by age and sex, and short counseling on NCD prevention and recommended follow-up. The findings indicated an age-related increase in mean systolic blood pressure, with the highest proportion of hypertension observed among older adults. Across younger and mid-adult groups, hypertension tended to be more frequent in men than in women. Elevated random blood glucose was uncommon overall but appeared mainly among women and was more noticeable in the older-age group. In summary, integrating screening and education in a public setting can help identify at-risk groups and encourage regular check-ups. Regularly scheduled CFD-based programs supported by selective referral pathways and strengthened lifestyle education may contribute to NCD risk reduction.

Abstract

Cancer education is an essential effort to improve public awareness and understanding, particularly among women, regarding the early detection of breast and cervical cancer. This community service activity aimed to provide education on cancer awareness, the importance of early detection, and the adoption of healthy lifestyles among Muslimat NWDI in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The activity was conducted through health education sessions combined with interactive discussions and an evaluation of participants’ understanding using a simple assessment instrument. The educational materials covered an introduction to breast and cervical cancer, breast self-examination (BSE), the importance of Pap smear screening, and lifestyle-related factors associated with cancer prevention. The results indicated that most participants demonstrated good to very good levels of understanding of the presented materials. Higher levels of understanding were observed among pre-elderly participants and those with a higher educational background. However, psychosocial barriers such as feelings of shame, fear, and cultural stigma related to reproductive health examinations were still identified. This socialization activity contributed positively to increasing participants’ awareness of the importance of early cancer detection. Nevertheless, continuous assistance and improved access to health services are needed to ensure the practical implementation of early detection behaviors within the community

Abstract

Digital education requires teachers to develop systematic textbooks while using technology responsibly. This paper reports a community service program on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into textbook writing for teachers at SMAN 1 Selong and MA Mu’alimat NWDI Pancor, conducted from August to September 2025. The program consisted of four stages: socialization, technical workshop, mentoring, and presentation–evaluation. Participants practiced using ChatGPT, Grammarly, Turnitin, Canva, and reference-management tools to support drafting and editing. The results show that 40 textbook drafts (at least three chapters each) were produced and can be further refined for classroom use. In addition, 70% of participants were able to independently operate at least three AI-based tools. These findings suggest that hands-on training combined with mentoring can strengthen teachers’ technical capacity and accelerate the textbook-writing process, supporting more relevant and innovative teaching materials in schools

Abstract

The rapid integration of digital technology in education has created new opportunities for improving teaching effectiveness and teacher performance. However, the successful implementation of technological innovation in education is influenced not only by technology adoption but also by organizational and motivational factors within schools. This study aims to analyze the influence of AI technology, principal leadership, and teacher motivation on teacher performance in East Lombok. This research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationships between the independent variables and teacher performance. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to nine teachers selected through purposive sampling. The results indicate that AI technology has a significant positive influence on teacher performance with a regression coefficient of 0.588 and a significance value of 0.035. Meanwhile, principal leadership and teacher motivation show negative regression coefficients of −0.165 and −0.003 respectively, although their statistical influence remains significant. The regression model explains 84.2% of the variation in teacher performance, indicating a strong relationship between the variables examined in this study. These findings highlight the importance of integrating technological innovation with effective educational management strategies in order to improve teacher performance. The study suggests that educational institutions should strengthen the utilization of AI-based technologies while promoting leadership practices and motivational strategies that support teachers in adapting to digital transformation in education.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on elementary students’ creative thinking skills and science achievement. Although previous research has widely explored PjBL at the secondary level, limited empirical evidence exists at the elementary level, particularly using multivariate statistical approaches. This study employed a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a one-way MANOVA. A total of 40 third-grade students were selected using cluster random sampling and divided into an experimental group (n = 20) and a control group (n = 20). Data were collected using a validated creative thinking rubric and a multiple-choice science achievement test. The results revealed a significant multivariate effect of instructional model on the combined dependent variables, Wilks’ Λ = 0.72, F (2, 37) = 7.18, p < .01, η² = 0.28. Univariate analysis indicated that PjBL significantly improved creative thinking skills (p = 0.011) and science achievement (p = 0.006). These findings demonstrate that PjBL is an effective instructional approach for enhancing both cognitive and creative competencies in elementary education. The study contributes to constructivist learning literature and highlights the importance of innovative pedagogical strategies in fostering 21st-century skills.

Abstract

Influenza is one of the acute respiratory infections that remains a public health concern due to its high transmissibility and potential to cause complications, particularly among vulnerable groups. In addition to seasonal influenza, the term “Super Flu” has become increasingly common in public discussions and social media, which may cause concern and misunderstanding regarding influenza. Meanwhile, Nipah virus infection is a zoonotic disease that can cause respiratory and neurological manifestations with a high fatality rate. This community service activity aimed to improve public knowledge of influenza, the term “Super Flu,” and Nipah virus infection, as well as their prevention. The activity was conducted in February 2026 at the Birrul Walidain NWDI Hall, Pancor, East Lombok Regency, involving 86 members of Muslimat NWDI, West Nusa Tenggara. Health education was delivered through lectures, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. Participants’ knowledge was assessed using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results showed an increase in knowledge following the activity. The proportion of participants with good knowledge increased from 21 participants (24.4%) in the pre-test to 68 participants (79.1%) in the post-test, while the proportion with poor knowledge decreased from 26 participants (30.3%) to 3 participants (3.5%). Improvements in knowledge were also observed across all age and educational groups. The activity suggests that direct and interactive health education can help participants better understand information about influenza, “Super Flu,” Nipah virus infection, and preventive measures. Similar educational activities can be conducted continuously with more structured evaluation to strengthen efforts to promote and prevent respiratory infectious diseases.

Abstract

Hypercholesterolemia is one of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease that needs to be controlled through the implementation of a healthy lifestyle and regular health screening. Limited public knowledge regarding risk factors, dietary patterns, genetic factors, and preventive measures for hypercholesterolemia highlights the need for community-based health education. This community service activity aimed to provide education on hypercholesterolemia and cardiovascular disease prevention to members of Nahdlatul Wathan Diniyah Islamiyah (NWDI) Muslimat in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The activity was conducted on February 22, 2026, at the North Lombok Regent’s Hall and involved 62 female participants aged 19–70 years. The activities employed interactive lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. Evaluation was conducted observationally by assessing participant participation, engagement in discussions, and responses to the educational materials. The results showed that participants attended the activity from beginning to end, actively asked questions and shared experiences, and provided positive responses to the materials presented. Participants’ questions mainly concerned dietary patterns, foods that should be limited or recommended, genetic factors, and the recommended frequency of cholesterol screening. Participants also considered the materials easy to understand, relevant, and useful for application in daily life. These findings indicate that community-based health education can serve as a relevant promotive approach for disseminating information on hypercholesterolemia and cardiovascular disease prevention. Further evaluation using quantitative instruments is needed to objectively measure changes in participants’ knowledge and health-related behaviors.
