Abstract

This research employs a qualitative methodology with a constructivist paradigm approach to comprehend the cultural significance of social media. The study is primarily descriptive, seeking to depict how social media has emerged as the predominant platform for individuals to receive information, share content, engage in interpersonal aspects of their lives, and acquire knowledge about the surrounding world. Utilizing qualitative methods, this investigation delves into perceptions, experiences, and social constructions associated with social media usage in society. The findings offer profound insights into the role and influence of social media within the audience framework during the digital era. Drawing from the research findings on the three influencers, namely @mahesaputriadriano, @cindyosmann, and @gabrielangelica, it can be concluded that by effectively employing algorithms and strategies, social media exerts a significant impact on enhancing brand awareness, user engagement, and purchase conversions, as supported by research and studies. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the phenomenon of sharing information in social media groups. This research also investigates the role that communication plays in the dissemination of information within groups and the formation of self-relevant values. The methodology was quantitative, and the sampling method was purposive. Using a survey to collect information from 807 students at SMAN 18 Bandung. In the analysis data section, the proposed model was evaluated utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The model proposed was evaluated using AMOS 21. The model's fit indices demonstrate good fit. There are five accepted hypotheses in this study. It was discovered that 1) formal and 2) informal communications have a positive impact on transactive memory systems, 3) transactive memory systems have a positive impact on self-relevant value, and 4) transactive memory systems are an effective mediator between formal and informal communication and self-relevant value. The study suggests some strategic implications as well.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the convenience and benefits of social media and E-wallets on the performance of SMEs. The study used quantitative analysis with SEM-PLS. The research sample was 30 SMES in Gunung Anyar District. The results showed that the ease and benefits of using social media and E-wallets were able to improve the performance of SMEs. The results of the study have implications for the use of social media and E-wallets as a form of the digital economy then increase economic growth, especially in MSMEs in Gunung Anyar and East Surabaya.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the influence of celebrity trustworthiness, celebrity attractiveness, parasocial interaction, and fear of missing out (FOMO) on purchase intention among TikTok users in the management student community. The population consisted of active undergraduate management students at the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur who use TikTok. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling based on specific criteria. The study utilized a quantitative approach, and data was collected through a survey questionnaire. The key findings revealed that celebrity attractiveness and FOMO had a significant positive influence on purchase intention, while celebrity trustworthiness and parasocial interaction did not contribute to purchase intention. In conclusion, marketers should focus on leveraging celebrity attractiveness and creating a FOMO effect to effectively target the Generation Z consumer segment on the TikTok platform. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis dan menjabarkan strategi apa yang diperlukan untuk monitoring setiap proses tagihan kesehatan yang masuk. Serta data digital dan hard file yang menjadi syarat mutlak dalam proses input tagihan kesehatan. Metodologi penelitian ini melibatkan studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam proses input data yang umumnya terjadi dalam sistem ini, serta menganalisis berbagai solusi yang dapat diimplementasikan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah merumuskan panduan praktis yang mencakup penginputan data digital dan hard file sebagai ketentuan dalam pencocokan suatu data pada tagihan kesehatan pegawai ataupun pensiunan. Abstract

The era of digitalization requires an innovative and accountable government. Tangerang Regency has a variety of applications that are realized to accelerate services and good governance as a whole. One of them is through open government data, which is easily accessible by any party to achieve a goal, namely transparency and disclosure of information. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of digital literacy of the community and the extent of their use of the open data portal. This research uses a mixed method with quantitative analysis using a Likert scale. The population and sample of the study were the people of Tangerang district aged between 18 and 60 years old, domiciled in Tangerang, and had used the district's open data portal. The results of this study indicate that although most people in Tangerang district have relatively high digital literacy skills, they still do not fully utilize this tool in the context of using the open data portal. This is due to several factors such as lack of public awareness, socialization from the government, and features that are not fully optimized.

Abstract

Purpose of this research are analyzing impact digitalization among the SMES in Surabaya City by using digital technology which measuring by their perception ease of use, usefulness and trust using digital technology and its impact on SMES Performance. Research conduct with quantitative analysis by using explanatory research design. The population of this research are 7158 SMES in Surabaya especially East Surabaya then we acquired 100 sample of SMES by using Slovin-Formula. Data collected by share questioner among 100 Respondents of SMES in East Surabaya. Data analyzed by using SEM-PLS with instrument validity and reliability test then bootstrapping to know hypothesis-testing results. Results identified perceived ease of use and usefulness affect SMES performance and can improve productivity by using digitalization technology. However, trust has no impact on SMES Performance in Digitalization Technology Context. This study offers significant advantages for the government, particularly in Surabaya City, aiming to enhance digitalization among SMEs by leveraging social media and e-wallets, thereby improving their technological performance. Additionally, it sheds light on how SMEs can harness digitalization technology to increase profitability and reap numerous benefits.

Abstract

The widespread development of digital technology has created enormous opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to grow their businesses. E-commerce is one of the digital platforms that facilitates online transactions, enabling businesses to expand their markets, reduce costs, and enhance distribution efficiency. However, not all MSMEs can effectively utilize this technology for their products, particularly in urban areas where digital literacy gaps persist, such as in the Perak Barat neighborhood. In response to this situation, Group 14 of the SDGs Community Service Program (KKN) from UPN “Veteran” East Java conducted outreach and training sessions on photography, social media branding, and e-commerce basics, with the aim of enhancing the digital capabilities of MSMEs in business management, marketing, and network development. The method used was qualitative descriptive, with data collection through direct observation. The results of this mentoring program showed a significant increase in SME operators who have begun adopting e-commerce, as evidenced by their active participation in creating accounts and uploading SME products.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong transformasi besar dalam sebuah dunia bisnis, termasuk dalam sektor perdagangan elektronik (e-commerce). Salah satu fitur yang sekarang banyak digunakan atau dimanfaatkan di platform Shopee adalah Shopee Video, yang dimana sebuah video singkat dari penjual untuk menarik perhatian pembeli/konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari views, Followers, dan like pada video/konten Shopee terhadap penjualan produk haircare di Kemaiu Official Shop. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan data sekunder berupa performa video dan hasil data penjualan dalam waktu tertentu, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Dan hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ketiga variabel yang dianalisis hanya jumlah followers yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan penjualan, sementara itu, variabel viewers dan like tidak menunjukan pengaruh yang signifikan secara statistik, meskipun tetap memiliki peran dalam membentuk interaksi awal konsumen terhadap sebuah konten video.

Abstract

There has been tremendous growth in information and communication technology infrastructure in Indonesia. Along with this, the demand for various media and communication devices has also increased, considering the needs of the community for diverse communication tools. This condition also encourages increasingly tight competition in the telecommunications industry. In connection with the tight competition in the telecommunications industry, it is important to examine what influences purchasing intention. This study aims to determine the influence and analyze the Influence of Social Media Marketing, Country of Origin, and Product Features on Purchase Intention of Xiaomi Smartphones for Generation Z in Surabaya. This research method is quantitative with a purposive sampling technique. The sample consists of 160 respondents, consisting of Generation Z in Surabaya and those interested in Xiaomi smartphones. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS 3. The results of this study are 1) Social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of Xiaomi smartphones for Generation Z in Surabaya. 2) Country of origin has a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of Xiaomi smartphones for Generation Z in Surabaya. 3) Product features have a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of Xiaomi smartphones for Generation Z in Surabaya.
