Abstract

Writing skill is one aspect of language skills that is very important to be developed from an early age. One of the materials for writing skills at the elementary school level is writing poetry. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to write poetry in class IV students. This research is a qualitative research type with research subjects namely 31 grade IV students at SDN 232 Gresik, 31 grade IVA students and 30 grade IVB students at SDN 234 Gresik with the main objective to improve poetry writing skills. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires and tests. The focus of this research is the fourth grade elementary school students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis technique. Based on the results of this study, it was obtained that 17 students had completed it while 73 students had not completed it. These results indicate that the ability to write poetry in class IV elementary school students still has not achieved the expected results. There are several influencing factors, namely the absence of learning media and the learning model used is still not appropriate

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang juga dihantui virus corona atau Covid 19. Virus corona adalah virus yang menyebabkan karena infeksi saluran pernapasan, seperti penyakit flu. Sehingga menyebabkan masyarakat bekerja, belajar, dan beribadah di rumah. Hal ini pendidikan di Indonesia juga ikut terdampak. Kebijakan pemerintah pada pendidikan yaitu menetapkan sistem daring dalam rangka memutus rantai penyebaran Covid 19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif untuk memperoleh informasi tentang dampak covid 19 terhadap pendidikan di Indonesia. Yang menjadi responden pada penelitian ini yakni guru 3 orang, peserta didik 3 orang dan orang tua 3 orang sebagai perwakilan dari masing masing responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan mengambil sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Dalam implementasi proses pembelajaran di rumah, pendidik dan peserta didik dibantu dengan berbagai aplikasi belajar online. Tetapi banyak juga kesulitan atau kendala yang dirasakan oleh pendidik maupun peserta didik bahkan orang tua peserta didik. Dengan dampak yang besar akibat adanya Covid 19, Indonesia mempunyai tantangan besar agar masih tetap focus dalam meraih tujuan pendidikan Indonesia yang lebih maju

Abstract

The background of this research is that 5 out of 10 students have difficulty recognizing and reading letters, syllables, words, and sentences. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the scramble-type cooperative learning model for beginning reading of grade II elementary school students at SDN Banyuajuh IV Kamal to be precise. The research method used is quantitative research with experimental research types. However, this study also found that the use of the scramble type cooperative learning model also had a good effect on student activity. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, observations and tests. This research was conducted in class II with a total of 10 students. Effectiveness is obtained from the Paired Sample T Test of 0.03 which if the Sig value is less than 0.05 then it can be said to be effective. The attractiveness of this model can be seen from the student response questionnaire. Based on the acquisition of these data, the Scramble Type Cooperative Learning learning model is appropriate for use for Beginning Reading Learning for Grade II Students at SDN Banyuajuh IV Kamal.

Abstract

This research comes from the problem that students' reading habits are lacking such as when there are empty hours or during breaks do not take the time to read, rarely visit the library and reading corner. Based on these problems, researchers are interested in knowing whether habits have an impact on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language students in grade 4 SDN Kebun 1. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive model and data collection with documentation, questionnaires, and observation. Data on learning outcomes were taken with documentation from students' daily tests. Other data was taken from a questionnaire distributed to 4th grade students of SDN Kebun 1, totaling 19 students on March 11, 2023. Observation was used to see how often grade 4 students visit the library and reading corner. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is found that reading habits have an impact on the cognitive learning outcomes of 4th grade students of SDN Kebun 1. This can be proven from the students' reading time, the longer the time spent reading the higher the learning outcomes obtained so that parents and teachers can instill reading habits in children from the earliest possible age. However, not only reading habits can lead to learning outcomes, there are still many other things that have an impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of parents in Literacy beginning Reading and the obstacles experienced by parents. This type of research is qualitative research. The research sample was 16 parents. Retrieval of data using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results found by researchers are, 1) The role of parents in Literacy beginning Reading efforts, namely parents as educators, parents as role models, parents as facilitators, parents as motivators, parents as friends, parents as reward givers 2) Obstacles What is experienced by parents is that parents do not have much time with their children, parents do not provide a study space, lack of reading resources, and parents do not know how to start reading.

Abstract

Siswa kelas I, II, dan III di SDN 8 Margopatut, memiliki kesulitan membaca permulaan yang bentuknya beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas rendah di SDN 8 Margopatut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 2 guru dan 10 siswa kelas rendah SDN 8 Margopatut yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini, dihimpun melalui wawancara dan tes membaca. Data yang telah terhimpun, nantinya dianalisis menggunakan model Milles & Huberman dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa kesulitan pada aspek membaca huruf, kesulitan pada aspek membaca kata bermakna, kesulitan pada aspek membaca kata yang tidak bermakna, kesulitan pada aspek kelancaran membaca nyaring, kesulitan pada aspek pemahaman bacaan dan mendengarkan, kesulitan pada aspek kesadaran fonologis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat enam bentuk kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas rendah di SDN 8 Margopatut. Melalui hasil analisis ini, diharapkan dapat memberi informasi bagi guru terkait bentuk-bentuk kesulitan membaca permulaan yang dialami oleh siswa, sehingga guru dapat memberikan penanganan yang tepat terhadap siswa serta sebagai bahan informasi dalam upaya perbaikan pembelajaran membaca di kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the Merdeka Curriculum supports independent learning for inclusive students in elementary schools. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach in several elementary schools that have implemented the Merdeka Curriculum. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the Merdeka Curriculum has a positive impact on the independent learning of inclusive students through an adaptive and responsive approach to student needs. The discussion indicates that the freedom to choose learning materials and methods, as well as the role of adaptive teachers, significantly influences the increase in student independence. The conclusion of this study is that the Merdeka Curriculum is effective in supporting the independent learning of inclusive students in elementary schools, which in turn can enhance their academic achievement and social skills.

Abstract

The aims of this development research were (1) to find out the validity of picture story books based on Syekh Muhammad Kholil's example, (2) to find out the attractiveness of picture story books based on Syekh Muhammad Kholil's example, (3) to find out the effectiveness of picture story books based on Syekh Muhammad Kholil's example. This development uses a 4D model which has 4 stages namely, Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The research subjects were fourth grade students of UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 6. Based on the validation results of the experts, the following percentages were obtained, language experts 95% (very valid), material experts 85% (very valid), teaching materials experts 87.5% (very valid ), and learning design experts 90% (very valid). The attractiveness of the limited trial was the student response of 95% (very interesting), the field trial was the student response of 95.75% (very interesting), and the teacher's response was 92.5% (very interesting). The effectiveness of picture story books is obtained from learning outcomes in the cognitive domain, learning outcomes in the affective domain, teacher and student activities. Learning completeness shows 100% (classical criteria ³85% of students reach KKM). Teacher activity averaged 95% (very effective), and student activity was 92.75% (very effective). Based on the results of the research, a picture story book based on the example of Sheikh Muhammad Kholil is said to be valid, interesting, and effective so that it can be used.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of teachers in reading interest in fourth grade students. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this research is a class IV teacher. The data collection techniques used were interview and observation techniques. The results of the research are, 1) The role of the teacher as a motivator, the efforts made by the teacher as a motivator are by providing support to students, 2) The role of the teacher as a guide, namely by familiarizing students with reading, 3) The role of the teacher as a facilitator, namely by providing infrastructure , 4) The teacher's role as a model and role model, namely by providing examples so that students have an interest in reading. The conclusion of this research is that the teacher's role in reading interest in class IV students, namely as a motivator, guide, facilitator, and as a model and role model has been carried out well, but there are several roles that have not been implemented optimally. It is hoped that teachers will be more optimal in implementing it.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara iklim kelas dengan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SDN Bulu 1 Balen Bojonegoro. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa di SDN Bulu 1 Balen, dengan jumlah total 33 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sementara analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment yang sebelumnya harus memenuhi uji asumsi klasik, yaitu uji normalitas dan linearitas. Uji normalitas pada penelitian ini secara berurutan adalah 0.157, 0,138 dan 0. 286 yang artinya ketiga data berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan untuk uji linearitas mendapatkan nilai 0.530 dan 0.597 yang artinya data tersebut linier dan dapat dilakukan uji selanjutnya. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000 yang berasal dari hasil angket mengenai iklim kelas dan motivasi belajar peserta didik, serta nilai signifikan sebesar 0.005 yang diperoleh dari angket iklim kelas dan observasi motivasi belajar peserta didik. Karena nilai-nilai ini kurang dari 0.05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara iklim kelas dan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SDN Bulu1 Balen. Selain itu juga diketahui bahwa intrepretasi koefisien antar variabel bernilai positif dan memiliki nilai secara berturut-turut adalah 0.662 dengan kategori tinggi dan 0.477 dengan kategori sedang yang artinya semakin baik iklim kelas maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar peserta didik.
