Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the zoning system for new student admissions (PPDB) in public senior high schools in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta from 2022 to 2024, with a focus on the role of school principals in executing the policy. Employing a quantitative approach with an evaluative design, the research assesses the effectiveness, fairness, and challenges of the zoning system. The population of the study consists of 119 high school principals across four cities in the Jakarta region. Using stratified random sampling, the entire population was involved as the research sample. Data were collected through structured interviews and questionnaire instruments distributed to the principals. Additionally, supporting data from the Jakarta Education Office and related literature were used to strengthen the analysis. The collected data were processed using SPSS software to test the validity and reliability of the instruments and to perform descriptive statistical analysis. The findings show that while the zoning system has succeeded in promoting equal access to education, several challenges persist, including uneven school quality, limited capacity in certain zones, and a lack of socialization among stakeholders. Most principals agree that improvements are needed in policy implementation, especially in ensuring transparency and infrastructure readiness. The study concludes that although the zoning system supports educational equity, it requires continuous evaluation and refinement to optimize its impact in diverse urban settings like Jakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Perceived organizational support on the performance of employees of the Rokan Hilir Regency Education Office mediated by organizational culture. The population in this study were all employees of the Rokan Hilir Regency Education Office totaling 66 people where sampling was carried out using the saturated sampling method. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and distribution using a google form. The data analysis technique in this study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 3.0 as a data processing tool. The results of this study indicate that Perceived organizational support has a positive effect on employee performance, organizational culture has a positive effect on employee performance, and Perceived organizational support also has a positive effect on organizational culture. The results of the mediation test also show that organizational culture is able to mediate the effect of Perceived organizational support on employee performance at the Rokan Hilir Regency Education Office. This means that when employees feel supported by the organization, this will form a positive organizational culture (for example, a culture of mutual support, openness, and productivity). This positive organizational culture then contributes to improving employee performance

Abstract

Pop-up advertisements are a widely used form of digital marketing communication, including on video-sharing platforms such as YouTube. However, the intrusive nature of pop-up ads often disrupts users’ primary activities, such as watching educational videos or other instructional content. This study aims to rationally evaluate the effectiveness of YouTube pop-up advertisements on students’ comprehension at SMK Amaliah 2 Ciawi Bogor. The evaluation focuses on three key aspects: message clarity, information relevance to students’ needs or interests, and the frequency of ad appearances, which may affect concentration and information retention. This research employs a quantitative approach with descriptive and associative design, utilizing a cluster random sampling technique to gather representative data. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed to students across various departments. The results indicate that the strategic design and placement of visual messages in pop-up advertisements have a significant influence on students’ comprehension of the ad content. These findings contribute to the development of more effective and contextual digital marketing communication strategies, particularly in educational settings that require communicative approaches that are not only engaging but also informative and supportive of the learning process. ABSTRAKIklan pop-up merupakan salah satu bentuk komunikasi pemasaran digital yang banyak digunakan, termasuk pada platform berbagi video seperti YouTube. Hal ini disebabkan oleh karakteristik iklan pop-up yang sering kali mengganggu aktivitas utama pengguna, seperti menonton video pembelajaran atau konten edukatif lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi secara rasional efektivitas iklan pop-up YouTube terhadap pemahaman siswa SMK Amaliah 2 Ciawi Bogor. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan tiga aspek utama, yaitu kejelasan pesan yang disampaikan, relevansi informasi dengan kebutuhan atau minat siswa, serta frekuensi kemunculan iklan yang dapat memengaruhi konsentrasi dan daya serap informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif dan asosiatif, serta teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling untuk memperoleh data yang representatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada siswa dari berbagai jurusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain visual dan penempatan pesan iklan yang strategis memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap isi pesan iklan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital yang lebih efektif dan kontekstual, khususnya di lingkungan pendidikan yang memerlukan pendekatan komunikatif yang tidak hanya menarik, tetapi juga informatif dan mendukung proses belajar.

Abstract

Abstract One of the reasons why there are still many women aged 10 to 54 years who do not use contraception is a lack of knowledge and education about contraceptive methods. One strategy to change this behavior is to provide information to new mothers about postnatal contraception to increase their awareness, this can be done through counseling. The Balanced Counseling Method (SKB) for family planning was developed to add alternative family planning counseling methods that can be used by family planning service providers.  The background to the development of the Balanced Counseling Strategy began in Peru in 2000. In a study conducted in Peru. The client's answers to these questions guide the course of counseling so that it will be specific to the client's life situation and desires. With SKB KB media, clients can choose the method that best meets their current needs. To continue counseling using this method, the officer must react and respond to the client's answers. The implementation method is counseling for every post partum mother who gives birth at the Garuda Community Health Center during the period June 2024, namely 46 post partum mothers and then evaluating the use of postpartum contraception used. The results showed that postpartum mothers' knowledge before being given SKBKB counseling was mostly in the adequate category, 21 people (50%) and postpartum knowledge after being given SKBKB counseling was mostly in the good category, 33 people. Before family planning counseling, the majority of mothers chose hormonal contraceptives. pills/injections (61%) for reasons of ease of use and previous experience, while after counseling with the Family Planning SKB the choice of birth control switched to postpartum MKJP (IUD, Implant, MAL) as much as (50.0%)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of e-commerce as an economic recovery strategy for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) after the COVID-19 pandemic through a literature review approach. A descriptive method is employed to understand the role of e-commerce in enhancing competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs. The findings indicate that the use of digital platforms has successfully expanded market reach and increased revenue for MSMEs. However, challenges such as limited technological knowledge and resources hinder the optimalization of e-commerce potential. This research emphasizes the importance of developing human resource capacity and fostering collaboration between government, private sector, and local communities to support MSMEs in leveraging e-commerce. With adequate support, the utilization of e-commerce can not only enhance revenue but also create opportunities for innovation and long-term growth for MSMEs in an increasingly competitive digital era.

Abstract

This experiment aims to determine the effect of compost fertilizer on growth, yield components and yield of Soybean (Glycine Max (L) Merrill) Anjasmoro variety. This experiment was carried out in Mekarjaya Village, Gantar District, Indramayu Regency - West Java. The time of the study was carried out from August to November 2021. The location is located at an altitude of ±50 m above sea level (masl), the soil type is Latosol and Regosol association, including type D (moderate) rain. The experimental method used was the experimental method with a factorial randomized block design (RAK), the treatment consisted of two factors which were repeated three times. The first factor is compost, which consists of three levels, namely compost 5 tons/ha, 10 tons/ha, and 15 tons/ha. While the second factor is the spacing which consists of three levels, namely the spacing of 40 cm x 30 cm, 40 cm x 40 cm and 40 cm x 50 cm. The main observation data were processed using linear model statistical tests, analysis of variance, and Scott-Knott cluster further test analysis. To determine the correlation between the treatment with the components of growth and yield of soybeans, the correlation used is the Product Moment correlation coefficient.The results showed that: (1) There was a significant effect between the combined dose of compost and plant spacing, (2) Combination of compost at a dose of 10 tons/ha gave the highest dry seed weight per plot at a spacing of 40 cm x 50 cm on Anjasmoro soybean. namely 929, 13 grams/plot or equivalent to 1.55 tons/ha, and (3) There was a significant correlation between plant height at 21 DAP and 28 DAP, and root volume at 21 DAP and 28 DAP and dry seed weight per plot.

Abstract

This research started from the phenomenon of beggars who became a social disease in Pontianak City. This work is not justified because it dramatically disturbs public order; a supporting factor that plays a role in handling beggars is Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2019 article 37 of the Pontianak City. The business of managing beggars is of particular interest to road users who pass at the redlight crossroad of the Kapuas 1 Highway Pontianak. This research is qualitative research with a qualitative approach to socio-legal research that uses descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used primary data consisting of observations, interviews, documentation, and secondary data obtained through literature, articles, journals, and the internet. The data analysis technique uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions, meanwhile, in testing the validity of the data using triangulation and member check. The results of the study show three findings: 1) The business of managing beggars is not appropriate based on positive law and Islamic law. 2) The implementation of Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2019 article 37 has not run optimally, the quality of service is still not well, and the sanctions given are not firm. 3) The view of Islamic law on the prohibition of giving beggars, there are three kinds of people who are permitted to beg, namely, people who bear a dependent, people who are afflicted by a disaster, and people who are stricken with disaster. Abstract

This study analyzes Tokopedia customer reviews to link review characteristics with sales indicators and to deliver an operational ranking tool. Using the public file tokopedia-product-reviews-2019.csv (40,476 reviews, 3,662 products, 158 shops, 5 categories), text was normalized, Indonesian stopwords were removed with Sastrawi, types were fixed, and duplicates were pruned. Star ratings were mapped as weak labels for negative, neutral, and positive sentiment. Descriptive analyses covered rating and sentiment distributions, category sales, top and bottom products, extreme reviews, and the 30 most frequent words. A composite Best Product to Sell index was proposed: 0.5·sold_norm + 0.3·avg_rating_norm + 0.2·pos_ratio_norm, with a minimum review threshold and min–max scaling. Findings show a strong positive skew in ratings and sales concentrated in a small set of SKUs and categories (notably sports, electronics, fashion). Negative reviews focus on shipping delays, packaging safety, and order administration, while positive reviews fit to description, quality, fast shipping, and price. The index highlights candidates for scale up and flags items needing diagnosis, offering a reproducible and extensible workflow for marketplace portfolio decisions.

Abstract

Gay adalah pria yang memiliki ketertarikan seksual terhadap sesama pria dan termasuk dalam kelompok LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Biseksual, Transgender). Saat ini, keberadaan gay telah meluas, termasuk dalam animasi anak-anak. Beberapa animasi anak saat ini mengandung unsur gay, salah satunya karakter ayah sejenis dalam lagu-lagu seperti "Accidents Happen," "Johny Johny Yes Papa," dan "I Love My Daddy" dari saluran YouTube Lellobee. Studi ini bertujuan dalam mengidentifikasi pesan negatif dalam animasi lagu anak di saluran tersebut. Metode yang diterapkan yaitu analisis semiotika berdasarkan teori Charles Sanders Peirce, melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara dengan empat belas informan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga lagu animasi ini tidak cocok untuk anak-anak dan berpotensi berbahaya bagi pola pikir mereka. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan kesalahpahaman identitas dan hubungan yang ditampilkan dalam konten semacam ini sering kali dianggap bertentangan dengan budaya, agama, dan norma masyarakat Indonesia. Di Indonesia, keberadaan gay sering kali tidak relevan terhadap norma-norma yang diyakini oleh masyarakat.Dengan begitu para pencipta lagu dapat membuat lagu dan lirik yang mengandung edukasi serta mendidik, serta orang tua dapat memberikan tontonan animasi yang baik yang lebih mengedukasi untuk perkembangan dan pola pikir anak.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of global commerce, digitalization, and socio-political changes have fundamentally reshaped the landscape of business ethics in the 21st century. Contemporary business ethics goes beyond traditional notions of compliance and corporate responsibility, incorporating new considerations such as sustainability, diversity, data privacy, artificial intelligence governance, and stakeholder engagement. This paper critically examines the major dimensions of contemporary business ethics, analyzes emerging ethical challenges in global markets, reviews theoretical frameworks guiding ethical decision-making, and presents practical applications for organizations aiming to embed ethics into their strategic operations. Through an integrative literature review and case analysis, the study demonstrates that ethical leadership, transparency, and stakeholder inclusivity are critical for achieving long-term corporate resilience and social legitimacy.
