Abstract

Penelitian ini didorong oleh keprihatinan peneliti terhadap fenomena perceraian orang tua yang antara lain disebabkan oleh kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT), persoalan finansial, adanya orang ketiga/perselingkuhan, dsb. Perceraian tidak hanya berdampak kepada orang tua saja, melainkan berdampak buruk juga terhadap kondisi kejiwaan dan pendidikan anak sebagaimana fenomena yang terjadi di Desa Gorua Utara, Kecamatan Tobelo Utara, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi tentang sejauhmana dampak perceraian orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak di Desa Gorua Utara. Adapun penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa: 1) dampak perceraian orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak di Desa Gorua Utara, Kecamatan Tobelo Utara, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara, diantaranya: a) anak mengalami gangguan psikologis dan mental seperti menyalahkan diri sendiri, rasa kehilangan, serta rasa putus asa; dan b) prestasi pendidikan anak menjadi buruk karena hilangnya konsentrasi, motivasi dan semangat belajar. 2) upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menangani masalah pendidikan anak akibat perceraian orang tua yaitu memberikan dukungan psikososial kepada anak oleh stakeholder seperti Pemerintah Desa, KUA, pihak Sekolah dan Tokoh Masyarakat, mengawasi pergaulan anak korban perceraian, serta memberikan bantuan finasial untuk kelanjutan pendidikan anak.

Abstract

Fenomena echo chamber di ruang digital memengaruhi pola interaksi mahasiswa, termasuk mahasiswa PPKn Universitas Khairun, yang cenderung membatasi diri dalam kelompok homogen sehingga memperkuat confirmation bias. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis fenomena tersebut, menelaah relevansi nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai antitesis, serta merumuskan strategi implementasi pendidikan moral berbasis Pancasila. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan telaah dokumen, dengan analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa echo chamber melemahkan tradisi dialogis dan kritis di lingkungan akademik, misalnya mahasiswa lebih sering mengonsumsi informasi yang sejalan dengan pandangan mereka dan mengabaikan perbedaan perspektif. Di sisi lain, nilai-nilai Pancasila, khususnya kemanusiaan, persatuan, musyawarah, dan keadilan, relevan untuk membangun sikap terbuka dan inklusif. Strategi implementasi yang ditawarkan meliputi integrasi dalam kurikulum, penerapan pedagogi dialogis, penguatan budaya akademik, serta literasi digital berlandaskan Pancasila. Dengan demikian, pendidikan moral Pancasila dapat berfungsi sebagai antitesis echo chamber sekaligus membentuk generasi mahasiswa yang kritis, toleran, dan berkarakter kebangsaan.

Abstract

Engagement in political activities reflects a high degree of citizencomprehension and awareness in achieving democracy.Consequently, political education within PPKn lessons in schools iscrucial for enhancing students' understanding and politicalconsciousness as young citizens, who are anticipated to activelyengage in politics in the future. This research seeks to explore therole of educators in delivering political education through PPKninstruction at SMP Negeri 6 Ternate. This investigation is adescriptive qualitative study. The findings reveal that: 1) Teachersplay a role in political education within PPKn lessons by: a)encouraging student participation by allowing them to voice theiropinions, b) instilling democratic values and independence, and c)fostering democratic attitudes among students; 2) Factors affectingteachers in delivering political education include teacher quality andschool support, such as learning facilities and a conducive sociallearning environment; and 3) Student feedback on the politicaleducation provided through PPKn lessons is very positive, as it helpsstudents become more confident and courageous in expressing theirviews, enhances critical thinking and civic awareness, and boostsstudent interaction and collaboration.

Abstract

Cooperative learning encourages students to work together in a group to achieve learning objectives. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type cooperative learning model in improving learning outcomes on the material of the Gotong Royong Citizenship Project in class X IPA SMA Negeri 35 South Halmahera. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects as many as 31 students. Data obtained through documentation, tests, and observations was analyzed descriptively. The results showed a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II. Participants' learning activities increased from 46% (sufficient category) to 83% (very good category). Learning evaluation results also showed improvement: from only six learners (19%) who passed in cycle I to 29 learners (94%) in cycle II, with the average score increasing from 48 to 81. These findings support the effectiveness of the STAD model in improving participation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Suku Bajo dikenal sebagai suku yang erat dengan kehidupan laut. Pola interaksi suku ini terpusat di laut dan laut sebagai sumber kehidupan mereka. Sejak kecil, anak-anak suku ini diajarkan mengenai tehnik berenang, menyelam, serta memancing sehingga memiliki keterampilan mencari kehidupan dari hasil laut. Namun di sisi lain, tingkat kemandirian anak dalam hal menuntut ilmu masih rendah karena kurangnya dorongan dan motivasi orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Kondisi demikian sebagaimana terjadi di masyarakat desa Laluin kecamatan Kayoa Selatan kabupaten Halmahera Selatan. Hal tersebut disebabkan pola asuh orang tua yang belum optimal dalam mengembangkan karakter mandiri anak terlebih pada pendidikan formal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi deskriptif mengenai pola asuh orang tua Suku Bajo dalam membentuk karakter mandiri anak di desa Laluin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasilnya menggambarkan bahwa: 1) pola asuh orang tua dalam membentuk karakter anak suku Bajo di desa Laluin dilakukan dalam pola asuh otoriter, permisif, ataupun demokratis; 2) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pola asuh orang tua dalam membentuk karakter mandiri anak suku Bajo di desa Laluin, diantaranya: a) tingkat pendidikan orang tua, dan b) status ekonomi dan pekerjaan orang tua.   The Bajo tribe is known as a tribe that is close to marine life. This tribe's interaction pattern is centered on the sea and the ocean as their source of life. Since childhood, the children of this tribe are taught swimming, diving and fishing techniques so that they have the skills to earn a living from sea products. However, on the other hand, the level of independence of children in terms of studying is still low due to a lack of parental encouragement and motivation for their children's education to continue their education to a higher level. This condition occurs in the community of Laluin village, South Kayoa subdistrict, South Halmahera district. This is due to parents' parenting patterns which are not yet optimal in developing children's independent character, especially in formal education. This research aims to obtain descriptive information regarding the parenting patterns of Bajo parents in forming the independent character of children in Laluin village. This research is qualitative research with a case study method. The results illustrate that: 1) parents' parenting patterns in shaping the character of Bajo children in Laluin village are carried out in authoritarian, permissive or democratic parenting patterns; 2) factors that influence parents' parenting patterns in shaping the independent character of Bajo children in Laluin village, including: a) parents' education level, and b) parents' economic and employment status.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the researchers’ concern about the low level of public awareness to actively participate in political life, such as being apathetic towards political choices and the strengthening of a patronage political culture in the form of political support in every general election. However, this is not reflected in the Maregam community in Tidore Islands City, where political attitudes and choices appear more active and varied because they are influenced by the “MAYAE” tradition (mutual help). The purpose of this research is to further and in-depth analyze the dynamics of citizenship politics in the Maregam community based on the “Mayae” tradition. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study. The results show that the dynamics of citizenship politics in the Maregam community based on the “Mayae” tradition are evident in: 1) active involvement in every aspect of political life, 2) respect for different political choices, 3) consensual decision-making as a way to reach agreement and solve problems, and 4) the candidate's track record and concern for citizens as the primary consideration in choice-making. The findings of this study constitute a good model of citizenship political participation that to be recommended to other communities, and serve as a basis for further research development.

Abstract

Perilaku Bullying (perundungan) dan Narkoba yang terjadi di dunia pendidikan khususnya siswa perlu mendapat perhatian serius agar tidak berkembang. Kedua perilaku negatif tersebut dapat berdampak buruk baik bagi pelaku, korban, sekolah, orang tua, maupun masyarakat. Pentingnya sosialisasi atau penyuluhan di sekolah khususnya SMA Negeri 5 Kota Ternate sebagai tindakan preventif untuk memberikan edukasi kepada para siswa dalam rangka mencegah dan menjauhkan diri dari perilaku menyimpang, sekaligus menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang kondusif, inklusif, sehat, serta berprestasi. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan penyuluhan adalah ceramah dan diskusi. Hasilnya menggambarkan bahwa kegiatan peyuluhan Pencegahan Bullying dan Narkoba Berbasis Kemitraan untuk Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila sangat bermanfaat bagi siswa guna menambah pengetahuan, pengalaman, serta membentuk karakter yang baik berdasarkan nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai bekal dalam menghadapi tantangan era disrupsi dan meraih masa depan yang cerah. Siswa sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan dengan indikator keberhasilan dilihat dari aspek kehadiran mencapai 100% dan partisipasi yang tinggi dalam memberikan suatu pandangan terhadap topik yang dibahas.

Abstract

This community service activity, in the form of a guest lecture involving students of the Civics Education Study Program at the University of Lampung, aimed to analyze the integration of Civics Education, character education, and multicultural education based on green education in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This activity employed an educational and participatory approach through material delivery and interactive discussions. The results of this activity contributed to improving participants' understanding of the concept of citizenship and environmental character values, as well as fostering multicultural awareness and environmental concern. The activity ran smoothly and successfully, as indicated by high enthusiasm from participants in listening to the material and high interaction throughout. Furthermore, this activity can contribute to the achievement of the SDGs in the areas of quality education (SDG 4), climate (SDG 13), peace (SDG 16), and partnership (SDG 17). The integration of Civics Education, character education, and multicultural education based on green education creates a holistic and transformative learning model that addresses the challenges of the times.
