Abstract

Digitalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi di era disrupsi merubah kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia. Namun dampak dari pemanfaatan teknologi digital dapat merusak mental bangsa karena penggunaan smartphone yang tidak dapat dikendalikan. Berbagai hal negative terjadi seperti perbuatan asusila, ujaran kebencian, dan peredaran narkoba di Internet. Situasi ini menimbulkan masalah dalam masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian berupa kegiatan bertema ``Pemantapan Nilai-Nilai Pancasila di Masa Disrupsi'' dapat menanamkan Pancasila di kalangan masyarakat. Kegiatan dialog ini dilakukan dengan metode diskusi terdiri dari tiga tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pemantauan dan evaluasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Teknologi digital dapat mengembangkan kewarganegaraan yang aktif. 2) Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup berbangsa untuk menghilangkan dampak negatif dari teknologi digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti ketahanan masyarakat Bajo di Torosiaje, Gorontalo, dalam dalam upaya menjaga kebudayaan mereka disaat pengaruh modernisasi yang semakin kuat. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian memperlihatkan bagaimana masyarakat Bajo tetap memelihara nilai-nilai kearifan lokal, khususnya tradisi maritim, sistem pernikahan, pengobatan dan nilai gotong-royong  meskipun mereka telah mengadopsi teknologi modern. Teknologi modern diintegrasikan secara selektif tanpa menghilangkan esensi dari kearifan lokal sebagai identitas mereka. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa masyarakat Bajo mampu melakukan negosiasi dengan perubahan, mempertahankan inti budaya mereka sambil menyesuaikan diri dengan tuntutan zaman. Selain itu, temuan ini juga menggarisbawahi peran sentral pendidikan dan kepemimpinan komunitas dalam proses pelestarian budaya. Kepemimpinan lokal berperan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai budaya kepada generasi muda, serta pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan kesadaran melestarikan kearifan lokal dalam perubahan sosial dan teknologi.Tantangan dari temuan ini adalah tekanan dari dalam masyarakat sendiri yang ingin mendapatkan fasilitas modern yang lebih baik, sehingga dilema antara memenuhi kebutuhan modern dan melestarikan tradisi yang menjadi identitas komunitas.

Abstract

There have been many studies concerning Banuroja; however, there is always something novelty in creating a role model for village-based character education where the aim is to create a multicultural society into a multicultural community. This study examines community activities related to the national character values that embody multiculturalism and social integration in the Banuroja community. The method was qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data were obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation carried out during 2019-2020. The validity of the data used triangulation, member checks, prolonged time, and peer debriefing. While the data analysis technique used ethnographic data analysis, namely describing, analyzing, and interpreting. The result shows that the realization of multiculturalism and social integration in the Banuroja community is carried out using three ways of assimilation, tolerance in beliefs/religions, appreciating other ethnic/religious activities by attending, and mutual cooperation. Guidance is also carried out through national and religious activities in the community, advice from parents in the family, and civic education in the schools, exemplary by community leaders, including ethnic, religious, and youth leaders.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan instrumen paling efektif dalam membangun peradaban bangsa. Syaratnya perlu dibentuk pola pikir (mindset) warga negara dalam melihat pendidikan sebagai investasi masa depan yang tepat. Peningkatan kompetensi Sumber Daya manusia (SDM) handal harus menjadi prioritas utama, meliputi pengetahuan kewarganegaraan (civic knowledge), keterampilan kewarganegaraan (civic skills), dan watak kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) sehingga membawa transformasi sosial masyarakat untuk berkembang dan maju. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) dalam bentuk dialog budaya dengan tema “Pendidikan sebagai Investasi Menuju Smart and Good Citizen'' dapat membekali warga negara agar menyadari betapa pentingnya pendidikan bagi masa depan generasi bangsa. Kegiatan dialog ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode diskusi dengan langkah-langkah pelaksanaan yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini meliputi: 1) kemajuan suatu bangsa ditandai dengan majunya SDM, 2) pengembangan SDM lebih penting daripada SDA, 3) kehandalan SDM ditentukan oleh kompetensi kewarganegaraan yang meliputi pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan watak kewarganegaraan, serta 4) investasi SDM sebagai investasi yang tepat dalam memajukan suatu bangsa. Adapun rekomendasi kegiatan ini, yaitu: 1) aspek komitmen dan konsistensi pemerintah, akademisi, masyarakat, pengusaha, serta media massa perlu ditunjukkan dalam memajukan pendidikan di daerah, dan 2) adanya kesamaan persepsi di kalangan masyarakat dimana pendidikan sebagai investasi yang paling tepat dalam membangun warga negara yang cerdas dan baik, serta sejahtera.

Abstract

Fenomena echo chamber di ruang digital memengaruhi pola interaksi mahasiswa, termasuk mahasiswa PPKn Universitas Khairun, yang cenderung membatasi diri dalam kelompok homogen sehingga memperkuat confirmation bias. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis fenomena tersebut, menelaah relevansi nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai antitesis, serta merumuskan strategi implementasi pendidikan moral berbasis Pancasila. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan telaah dokumen, dengan analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa echo chamber melemahkan tradisi dialogis dan kritis di lingkungan akademik, misalnya mahasiswa lebih sering mengonsumsi informasi yang sejalan dengan pandangan mereka dan mengabaikan perbedaan perspektif. Di sisi lain, nilai-nilai Pancasila, khususnya kemanusiaan, persatuan, musyawarah, dan keadilan, relevan untuk membangun sikap terbuka dan inklusif. Strategi implementasi yang ditawarkan meliputi integrasi dalam kurikulum, penerapan pedagogi dialogis, penguatan budaya akademik, serta literasi digital berlandaskan Pancasila. Dengan demikian, pendidikan moral Pancasila dapat berfungsi sebagai antitesis echo chamber sekaligus membentuk generasi mahasiswa yang kritis, toleran, dan berkarakter kebangsaan.

Abstract

The Tobelo Dalam tribe actively represents an indigenous community in Indonesia, consistently maintaining biodiversity in various forest areas of Halmahera, North Maluku. The expansion of timber companies and the mining industry threatens the roaming area of the Tobelo Dalam tribe. Over time, some experienced a cultural shift from nomadic life, embracing modern values while maintaining their identity as an inland community that fully utilises forest products to meet their living needs. This study analyses the existence of the Tobelo Dalam tribe in the Tukur-Tukur hamlet, Dodaga village, East Halmahera and examines how their social transformation patterns shape a citizenship identity. This study employs a qualitative approach through a case study method. Collect data using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. We analysed the collected data using data reduction, presentation, and verification techniques. The research findings show that the Tobelo Dalam tribe in the Tukur-Tukur hamlet, an indigenous community that values the forest ecosystem, has undergone a shift in modern lifestyle due to government policies promoting modern living standards for the community, and internal encouragement from the tribe to leave the forest zone for settlements. The social transformation pattern of the Tobelo Dalam tribe in the Tukur-Tukur hamlet reveals three domains: political factors, cultural factors, and social factors, which are evident in aspects of religion, education, social behaviour, and economy. This study's findings offer stakeholders valuable insights to protect the sustainability of forests and indigenous communities on Halmahera Island from mining impacts.

Abstract

Pendidikan politik adalah elemen krusial dalam membangun kesadaran dan partisipasi politik siswa dalam kehidupan sekolah dan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) berperan sangat strategis dalam memberikan pendidikan politik guna membentuk literasi politik (political literacy) siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru PPKn dalam membentuk literasi politik siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Halmahera Utara, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Guru PPKn di MAN 1 Halmahera Utara berhasil membentuk literasi politik siswa melalui edukasi politik tentang pemilihan umum (Pemilu), hak dan kewajiban warga negara, nilai-nilai demokrasi, peran lembaga negara, serta integritas politik; dan (2) faktor pendukung guru dalam membentuk literasi politik siswa MAN 1 Halmahera Utara yaitu kurikulum dan kompetensi guru PPKn, lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung literasi politik, serta pemanfaatan media dan teknologi pembelajaran. Adapun faktor penghambatnya karena keterbatasan sumber belajar serta rendahnya minat dan partisipasi siswa terhadap isu politik. Harapannya pembentukan literasi politik di sekolah terus ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan kompetensi guru sehingga menarik belajar siswa untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan-kegiatan politik.

Abstract

This research is based on a phenomenon of juvenile delinquency dropping out of school in Tanjung Una village, North Taliabu District, which is increasingly widespread, such as cheating, drunkenness and livestock theft which has disturbed the residents. Therefore, it is important to explore the role of the community in the village in exercising social control over juvenile delinquency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results illustrate that the role of the community in dealing with delinquency among out-ofschool teenagers in Tanjung Una village is carried out in several ways, namely: 1) reprimanding teenagers who race motorbikes and get drunk, 2) approach and give advice to out-of-school teenagers to return to school, and 3) resolve juvenile delinquency through deliberation involving the perpetrator, parents and the village government, but if it involves unlawful acts (for example: stealing people's livestock) then it is handled directly by the village government in the form of strict sanctions or punishments. The obstacles faced by the community in dealing with delinquency among teenagers who have dropped out of school consist of 2 (two) factors, namely internal factors such as individual teenagers who find it difficult to accept advice from parents or residents and external factors originating from the family environment which pays little attention to children's relationships, love and affection. Affection, as well as disharmonious family life.

Abstract

This research was motivated by researchers concerns about the morals of the younger generation, especially school age, which are being degraded due to the negative impacts of globalization and technological advances. The development of technology in the information sector, especially the ease of accessing information from the internet, has resulted in the role of educators starting to shift, especially in developing students' behavior and morals. Therefore, it is important to carry out character education intensively, especially religious character as a basic bulwark in filtering outside culture or the negative impact of technological developments. Character education can be provided through classroom learning accompanied by religious extracurriculars, in this case spiritual, so that it is more intensive and comprehensive in forming good character. This research aims to describe the form of application of religious character values in religious extracurricular activities through spiritual organizations at SMA Negeri 1 Tidore Islands City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of the research show that the form of application of religious character values through religious extracurricular activities of spiritual organizations at SMA Negeri 1 Tidore Islands City is carried out in the form of: 1) the application of religious character values is instilled based on indicators of religious character, namely the value of worship, trustworthiness and sincerity, moral and discipline values, as well as exemplary values; 2) implemented through religious extracurricular activity programs, namely daily activity programs, weekly activity programs and annual activity programs. The supporting factors in implementing religious character values through spiritual organizations include: 1) support from the school; 2) the response and development of students who are active in participating in spiritual extracurricular activities; 3) supporting facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors in implementing spiritual activities include: 1) there is still a small number of students who do not participate in spiritual activities; 2) the time discipline of spiritual administrators is considered inconsistent.

Abstract

Mosque youth as the nation's successors play an important role in driving change in society through spiritual and social activities. This is what happened to the youth of the An-Nur Waikafa Mosque, South Mongoli, Sula Islands, who were successful in holding activities that directly touched the residents to increase the value of spiritual and social worship, even though they faced various challenges, such as some teenagers who were indifferent, lazy, and more tend to exhibit hedonic relationships. This research is qualitative research with a case study type using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation studies, while data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are: 1) The role of teenagers at the An-Nur Waikafa mosque in developing religious and social character such as: a) holding regular religious studies, b) fostering TPA (al-Qur’an Education Park) for children, and c) initiating the community involved in social service activities; 2) Supporting factors for the role of mosque youth are: a) the high enthusiasm of residents in participating in the success of activities held by mosque youth, and b) habituation to the culture of religious discussion among teenagers which has been established for a long time. The factors inhibiting the role of mosque youth include: a) the lack of enthusiasm among some teenagers to get involved due to the encouragement of a lazy, indifferent attitude and a more hedonistic style, b) lack of support from residents in the form of financial assistance to make the mosque prosperous.
