Abstract

The community service program was implemented to overcome the stunting problem in Lenggahsari Village, Bekasi Regency, West Java. Stunting due to malnutrition causes pollution to become a problem in this village. The government has taken serious steps with the national stunting prevention movement. The method used is socialization and training about stunting, which aims to change mindsets towards a clean and healthy environment, support zero new stunting, and improve the quality of life. The flow stages of implementing this service program include preparation, stunting socialization, and evaluation. The results of implementing the community service program are increasing knowledge and changing the local community's mindset regarding the dangers of stunting and reducing the stunting rate in Lenggahsari Village. The socialization of stunting prevention is a step in contributing to the government and the state in the economic growth and development of the country; stunting prevention is a long-term investment in the next generation.

Abstract

The service activity aims to provide outreach, training, and assistance to MSMEs in Sukabungah Village on creating digital financial bookkeeping. Effective bookkeeping is crucial for business progress, enabling MSMEs to track financial flows, income, and profits accurately. Observations reveal that while MSME actors in Sukabungah Village engage in bookkeeping, it is not performed optimally. To address this, the service team implemented a digital bookkeeping training program using the "BukuWarung" application. The program's results demonstrate significant improvements in the financial management and bookkeeping capabilities of MSME actors. Participants reported increased knowledge and understanding of financial transactions within their businesses and the ability to classify these transactions into assets, liabilities, income, and expenses. They learned to execute an entire accounting cycle, including recording financial transactions in journal form, posting to the ledger, preparing trial balances, and generating profit and loss statements and financial position reports. Overall, the training program has enabled MSMEs in Sukabungah Village to manage their finances more effectively, contributing to business progress and enhancing the welfare of both MSME actors and the broader community.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has a significant impact on various fields, one of which is technology in agriculture. The use of technology in agriculture, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), aims to make it easier for farmers to monitor, manage and carry out agricultural activities. The solution for farmers to utilize technology in monitoring agricultural land to get more effective and efficient harvests so that they can increase productivity and yields is by using IoT technology. The application of IoT technology in hydroponic farming systems can be done to determine the parts per million (ppm) content in water and water levels in real-time. The method used in this community service is socialization and training for farmers in Medalkrisna Village, as well as testing using the prototyping method connected to the Blynk application. This tool allows farmers to monitor parts per million of water and water levels online and makes it easier for farmers to monitor. The managerial implications of implementing Blyink’s Internet of Things-based hydroponic system to improve food security include increasing the efficiency of resource management and optimizing agricultural production.

Abstract

Modern catfish farming increasingly prioritizes the use of sophisticated technology to increase productivity and efficiency. One crucial aspect of catfish farming is the feeding system, which until now is still widely done manually by spreading feed by hand. This conventional method is less efficient, especially on a large scale, because it depends on the timing and dosage of feed, which is often uncontrolled. Inaccuracy in feeding can cause slow fish growth, water pollution due to leftover feed, and an increased risk of cannibalism in fish. To overcome these problems, an automatic feed machine technology equipped with a timer system was developed. This machine can throw feed in a scheduled and controlled manner so that feeding becomes more efficient and optimal. In addition to increasing the efficiency of the work of farmers, the use of automatic feeding machines also contributes to better fish growth and maintains the quality of pond water. The managerial implications that can be suggested are the need to strengthen the institutional capacity and management of women's farmer groups through structured ongoing training, especially in plant cultivation with the Budikdamber system and group financial management.
