Abstract

The coffee market in Japan still has very high potential, as indicated by the increase in coffee consumption and Japan is one of the largest coffee consuming countries in the world. The increase in coffee consumption is due to changes in lifestyle in society due to westernization which introduces the habit of drinking coffee. The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee exports to Japan. This research method uses quantitative methods. The type of secondary data is in the form of time series data for the period 1989 to 2018. The data source comes from the Directorate General of Plantations, United Nations Commodity of Trade. The analysis used was RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) and EPD (Export Product Dynamic) analysis. Vietnam as a comparison country in measuring RCA and EPD values. The results showed that Indonesian coffee beans had the ability to enter the Japanese market and were able to survive and export trade performance was fast and dynamic

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the biggest rice consuming countries in the world. The Indonesian population is very dependent on rice as a staple food. Rice is a staple food that has many problems in stock supply. In order to prevent a food crisis from occurring, the government must pay full attention to providing stock for national consumption needs. Domestic rice production has not been able to meet the needs of national consumption, so the government needs to import rice from outside. The reason why Indonesia has to import rice is the declining number of paddy fields. Many paddy fields that were originally used for rice farming have been converted to other economic activities. The increasingly high population growth is a challenge for the government in meeting the national rice needs. This study aims: (1) To determine the development of rice imports in Indonesia for the period 2011 to 2020. (2) To determine the contribution of rice imports in Indonesia to the availability of national rice stocks for the period 2011 to 2020. This study uses a case study method with a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data for the period 2011 to 2020, namely the volume of Indonesian rice imports for the period 2011 to 2020, the value of Indonesian rice imports for the period 2011 to 2020 and the volume of domestic rice production for the period 2011 to 2020. The analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and contribution analysis. rice imports to the national rice stock. The results of the study explain that (1) The development of rice imports in Indonesia for the period 2011 to 2020 is volatile. The average Indonesian rice import is 1,138 235.1 tons per year. The highest rice import occurred in 2011 at 2,750,476 tons. (2) The average contribution of Indonesian rice imports to the national rice stock is 2.5 percent, which is 1,138235.1 tons per year. Most of Indonesia's rice imports come from Vietnam and Thailand

Abstract

Rancangan kegiatan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini, yaitu dengan cara melakukan pendekatan dengan melihat secara langsung dan mengidentifikasi masalah yang ada di Desa Babadan, Banjarnegara. Pendekatan ini dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi pengelolaan koperasi yang mengumpulkan hasil kopi dari petani dan mengolah kopi untuk kemudian diekspor. Hasil observasi menjadi acuan untuk menentukan penerapan Good Handling Practice (GHP). Setelah persiapan awal dan hasil observasi didapatkan maka team pengabdian menentukan waktu yang tepat guna memberikan penyadaran dan pengetahuan secara umum mengenai GHP kepada petani kopi arabica. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dari pengabdian pendampingan dalam penerapan (GHP) pada Kopi Arabika di Desa Babadan Banjarnegara, diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) Petani mampu membuat perencanaan yang didasarkan pada permasalahan tentang penanganan pasca panen kopi arabika di petani kopi Desa Babadan. (2) Petani mampu mempraktekan pasca panen kopi sesuai tahapan-tahapan standar GHP. Peserta memiliki motivasi yang kuat untuk menerapkan dan mengembangkan ilmu yang sudah didapatkan melalui kegiatan pengabdian.

Abstract

Bagi pebisnis dan pelaku usaha, iklan adalah salah satu jenis investasi berharga. Pasca pandemi covid-19 membuat ekonomi dunia dalam masa kritis menyebabkan banyak bidang usaha terkena dampak bisnis yang luar biasa seperti penurunan omset, pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) dan penutupan bisnis yang konvensional. Pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini terdapat dua bidang permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku usaha di desa Jompo yaitu bidang mikro. . Permasalahan mikro yang dihadapi pelaku usaha kecil di desa Jompo yaitu media promosi seperti spanduk rusak dan tidak terawat, kurangnya media atau saran promosi seperti media cetak ataupun online. Maka solusi yang ditawarkan adalah melakukan sosialisasi kepada pelaku usaha kecil mengenai bahasa-bahasa iklan yang bersifat persuasif sebagai medianya sekaligus perbaikan spanduk, mendesain, serta membuat beberapa media promosi seperti spanduk, logo, brosur, kartu nama, maupun media sosial seperti Whatsapp, Facebook, dan Instagram.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan secara langsung dan identifikasi masalah di wilayah RT 03 RW 06 Desa Serang Kecamatan Karangreja Kabupaten Purbalingga. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk mencapai tujuan adalah 1) Melaksanakan penyuluhan bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan budidaya tanaman sayuran secara hidroponik, serta memotivasi kepada peserta dan mempraktikan membuat role model hidroponik DFT. 2) Mempraktikan cara pembuatan media budidaya hidroponik kepada peserta dengan menjelaskan alat dan bahan yang digunakan. 3) Memberikan paket berupa alat dan bahan digunakan serta role model hidroponik DFT kepada peserta,benih sayuran kale bertujuan untuk mentransfer ilmu dan kegiatan yang menghasilkan. 4) Selama proses kegiatan dilakukan pendampingan muai dari budidaya sampai panen. Proses pendampingan bersifat insidentil dimana mitra, peserta dan masyarakat dapat merasakan manfaat kegiatan.

Abstract

Climate change and environmental degradation are pressing global issues, particularly in Indonesia. Many communities lack the information and facilities to engage in environmental conservation efforts. The "Android-based Environmental Awareness" application, or "Saling Bangga," is designed as a digital solution to enhance community awareness and participation in environmental activities. This study utilized surveys, user-centered design, and an Agile approach for app development. Implementation took place in Purbalingga District, Purbalingga Regency, involving the general public, youth, students, local government, and NGOs. The results showed a significant increase in community awareness and participation regarding environmental issues. Users reported positive behavioral changes, such as increased recycling and waste reduction. "Saling Bangga" provides an educational and interactive platform, facilitating the reporting of environmental issues and encouraging active involvement in local environmental activities. The app also successfully fostered collaboration between the community and stakeholders in addressing environmental problems. This study concludes that digital technology, particularly mobile applications, holds great potential to enhance community participation in environmental conservation.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat memberikan kemudahan dalam mengelola informasi, namun juga membawa risiko serius terkait kebocoran dan penyalahgunaan data pribadi. Guru, sebagai pendidik generasi muda, harus memahami pentingnya melindungi data pribadi—baik milik mereka sendiri maupun milik siswa mereka. Kegiatan layanan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan kesadaran akan perlindungan data pribadi di kalangan anggota Asosiasi Guru Taman Kanak-Kanak Masythoh di Kabupaten Banyumas, Kecamatan Sokaraja. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi sesi sosialisasi, workshop interaktif, distribusi modul pembelajaran digital, dan penyediaan panduan praktis tentang penggunaan teknologi yang aman. Sebanyak 50 guru mengikuti program ini. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman guru tentang ancaman digital, dengan skor pengetahuan rata-rata naik dari 47% (pra-tes) menjadi 83% (pasca-tes). Selain itu, 86% peserta berhasil menunjukkan penerapan praktik digital yang aman, seperti penggunaan kata sandi yang kuat, mengaktifkan otentikasi dua faktor, dan mengelola data siswa dengan aman. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam keamanan digital tetapi juga menumbuhkan budaya kesadaran perlindungan data di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. Dampak keseluruhan adalah terciptanya ekosistem pembelajaran digital yang lebih aman dan pemberdayaan guru sebagai agen literasi data di komunitas mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of photosynthetic bacterial fertilizer and the pull-push cultivation technique on corn. The research was conducted in Banjaran Village, Purbalingga Regency. The experimental design used was a completely randomized block design. The treatments for photosynthetic bacteria included S0 (control), S1 (50 mL/2L), and S2 (100 mL/2L), as well as the pull-push system treatments P0 (control), P1 (lemongrass), and P2 (groundnut). Each treatment was replicated three times and analyzed using ANOVA. Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) (α=5%) was employed for significantly different results. The observed variables were plant height, number of leaves, dry root weight, dry plant weight, and total chlorophyll. The results indicated that the application of photosynthetic bacterial fertilizer increased plant height but did not affect the number of leaves. The pull-push cultivation technique showed significance in the lemongrass treatment and total chlorophyll, while no interaction was observed between the two applied treatments.

Abstract

The Kutasari Freshwater Fish Seed Center (BBIAT), as a technical implementation unit of the Purbalingga Regency DKPP, plays an important role in providing quality tilapia seeds. However, its operations still face several obstacles, necessitating a business development strategy. This study aims to: (1) identify internal and external factors of the tilapia fish seed business, (2) formulate alternative strategies through SWOT analysis, and (3) determine priority strategies using QSPM. The study was conducted in July–August 2025 using a descriptive qualitative approach through case studies. Data were obtained from interviews, observations, and questionnaires to seven respondents directly involved. The analysis was conducted using the IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT, and QSPM Matrices. The results showed 7 strength indicators and 6 weakness indicators, as well as 5 opportunity and threat indicators each. The IFE Matrix score (2.92) and EFE (2.88) placed BBIAT Kutasari in Cell V of the IE Matrix with a “Hold and Maintain” strategy. The SWOT analysis yielded SO, ST, WO, and WT strategies. Based on the QSPM, the priority strategy is strategy B (a combination of WO and WT) with a TAS score of 6.91. This strategy emphasizes improving internal management, strengthening administration, upgrading facilities, implementing fish health protocols, and optimizing digital-based marketing. Therefore, the development of the tilapia hatchery business at BBIAT Kutasari is directed at increasing internal capacity while mitigating external threats to maintain business sustainability. Keywords: Development Strategy; Kutasari BBIAT UPTD; QSPM; SWOT; Tilapia Fish Hatcher.     ABSTRAK UPTD Balai Benih Ikan Air Tawar (BBIAT) Kutasari, sebagai unit pelaksana teknis DKPP Kabupaten Purbalingga, memiliki peran penting dalam penyediaan benih ikan nila berkualitas. Namun, operasionalnya masih menghadapi sejumlah kendala sehingga diperlukan strategi pengembangan usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal usaha pembenihan ikan nila, (2) merumuskan strategi alternatif melalui analisis SWOT, dan (3) menentukan strategi prioritas menggunakan QSPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya 7 indikator kekuatan dan 6 indikator kelemahan, serta masing-masing 5 indikator peluang dan ancaman. Skor Matriks IFE (2,92) dan EFE (2,88) menempatkan BBIAT Kutasari pada Sel V Matriks IE dengan strategi “Hold and Maintain”. Analisis SWOT menghasilkan strategi SO, ST, WO, dan WT. Berdasarkan QSPM, strategi prioritas adalah strategi B (kombinasi WO dan WT) dengan nilai TAS 6,91. Strategi ini menekankan perbaikan manajemen internal, penguatan administrasi, peningkatan fasilitas, penerapan protokol kesehatan ikan, serta optimalisasi pemasaran berbasis digital. Dengan demikian, pengembangan usaha pembenihan ikan nila di BBIAT Kutasari diarahkan pada peningkatan kapasitas internal sekaligus mitigasi ancaman eksternal untuk menjaga keberlanjutan usaha. Abstract

Mocaf crackers are a processed product derived primarily from Mocaf flour. Mocaf flour is produced from cassava through a fermentation process involving microorganisms such as Rhizopus oryzae and yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). The Women Farmers Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani, KWT) ERQU oversees the entire production chain of Mocaf crackers, ranging from raw material procurement to product marketing. This study aims to analyze the application of the marketing mix on Mocaf cracker products produced by KWT ERQU in Tumanggal Village, Pengadegan Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency. The research was conducted in August 2024, employing a case study approach. Descriptive analysis was utilized to address the research objectives, based on the 8Ps marketing mix framework, which encompasses product, price, place, promotion, people, process, programs, and performance. The findings of the study reveal that the implementation of the 8P marketing mix in relation to Mocaf crackers produced by KWT ERQU requires further enhancement. In particular, improvements are needed in strengthening the product’s brand image, diversifying distribution channels, expanding promotional efforts—especially through digital media—establishing consistent marketing programs, conducting performance evaluations, and providing comprehensive training and guidance to KWT ERQU members. Such training should focus on hygienic production processes, product diversification, digital marketing strategies, packaging design quality enhancement, and customer service improvement.
