Abstract

Kawasan pesisir yang mengalami perkembangan dalam hal alih fungsi lahan, tata ruang dan tutupan lahan akan berdampak pada perubahan garis pantai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan garis pantai yang terjadi di pesisir Jakarta Utara, dimana perkembangan tata ruang DKI Jakarta sangat signifikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penginderaan jauh dengan media citra satelit Landsat 7 dan 8, analisis perubahan garis pantai menggunakan Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) dengan metode single transect dan end point rate. Hasil analisis Pemanfaatan citra satelit dalam melihat perubahan garis pantai di wilayah Jakarta Utara menunjukkan bahwa setiap kurun waktu 10 tahun, wilayah pesisir mengalami akresi. Hal ini dikarenakan proses sedimentasi dan kegiatan reklamasi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan garis pantai pada wilayah pesisir Jakarta Utara yaitu sedimentasi dan kegiatan reklamasi. Akresi terjadi pada zona 2 dan 3 tahun 1990, zona 1 dan 3 tahun 2000, zona 2 dan 3 tahun 2010, dan zona 1, 2, dan 3 tahun 2021. Abrasi terjadi pada zona 1 tahun 1990, zona 2 tahun 2000, dan zona 1 tahun 2010. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut pesisir DKI Jakarta mengalami perubahan yang cukup dinamis, hal ini berdampak pada kemampuan wilayah pesisir untuk mengantisipasi perubahan iklim diantaranya kenaikan muka air laut.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of Curve Number (CN) on flood discharge in the Juana watershed. Using a case study approach, analysis was carried out to understand the relationship between CN values and hydrological characteristics and flood risk in the region. The research method involves hydrological modeling which takes into account the CN value as a key parameter. Spatial and temporal data on land cover, soil type and vegetation are used to determine CN values in various land change scenarios. The study results indicate a trend of increasing Curve Number (CN) values in 5 Subwatersheds, a decrease in 2 Subwatersheds, and no change in 1 Subwatershed. The highest increase in CN value was observed in the Juana 2 Subwatershed, with an increase of (+) 0.935, while the largest decrease was found in the Gembong Subwatershed, with a decrease of (-) 0.349. Both the increase and decrease in CN values are directly proportional to the resulting flood discharge. These findings have important implications for disaster risk management, regional planning, and sustainable policy development in the Juana River Basin and similar regions worldwide. By understanding more deeply the influence of CN on flood discharge, more effective mitigation measures can be designed to protect communities and ecosystems that are vulnerable to flood threats.

Abstract

Infrastructure development in Indonesia requires many civil engineering graduates, who play an important role in developing sustainable infrastructure to meet current needs. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2023, the Net Participation Rate (APM) for the 19-24 age group reached 20.63% for higher education, including both undergraduate and diploma programs. To support this development, the Community Service Team of the Faculty of Civil Engineering collaborated with SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta to organize an activity to introduce the role of civil engineering in infrastructure development. This activity aims to familiarize students with the role of civil engineering and assist them in exploring their interests and talents in this field. The method of implementing the activity includes delivering materials, demonstrating equipment in the laboratory, and conducting a questionnaire session to determine the level of student understanding. The results showed that the level of student understanding of civil engineering reached 42% in the "understand" category and 45.8% in the "very understand" category, out of a total of 24 participants.

Abstract

Beton adalah merupakan material yang sangat penting dalam industri konstruksi dimana komposisinya adalah semen, agregat halus, agregat kasar dan air. Namun, produksi beton terutama dalam hal pemakaian semen portland menyumbang sekitar 5-7% dari total emisi karbon global. Untuk mengurangi penggunaan semen, adalah subsutusi limbah kalsit (CaCO3), yang merupakan bahan alami yang mudah didapatkan dan relatif murah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengunaan limbah kalsit sebagai penganti semen terhadap sifat mekaniknya. Subsitusi limbah kalsit terhadap semen sebesar 0%, 5%, 7.5%, dan 12.5%. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah pengujian slump, berat jenis dan kuat tekan pada umur 28 hari, hasil yang didapat dibandingkan dengan subsitusi limbah kalsit 0% atau beton normal. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa semakin bertambahnya subsitusi limbah kalsit nilai workability menjadi lebih kecil dan semakin bertambahnya subsitusi limbah kalsit maka berat jenisnya menjadi lebih ringan, beton paling ringan terdapat di subsitusi 12.5% dengan nilai 2219.52kg/m3, lebih ringan 3.55% dibandingkan beton normal. Terhadap kuat tekan dengan penambahan subsitusi kalsit terhadap semen dapat meningkatkan kuat tekan sampai batas tertentu akan mengalami penurunan pada penelitian ini subsitusi limbah kalsit yang paling optimal yaitu 10% kalsit dengan hasil kuat tekan sebesar 39.33 MPa dengan perbandingan beton normal sebesar 32.26MPa.

Abstract

In the procurement process for goods and services, the use of domestic products is emphasized in Government Regulation No. 29 of 2018 regarding Industrial Empowerment, which mandates the use of Domestic Products (PDN) with a minimum Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of 40%. This regulation, outlined in Article 57, focuses on the inclusion of domestic components in various products and services, including construction works, which must adhere to TKDN provisions. The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has taken significant steps to support the use of domestic products by establishing the 2022-2024 Domestic Product Improvement Team (P3DN) in March 2022, followed by the issuance of Presidential Instruction No. 2 of 2022. This aims to accelerate the use of domestic products and promote small businesses through the National Movement Proud of Made in Indonesia. The TKDN is calculated based on the proportion of locally sourced materials and equipment in a product or service, and construction sectors like highways, dams, and irrigation works fall under the purview of various directorates at the Ministry of PUPR. This study investigates how these policies influence the procurement decisions in infrastructure projects and the impact of TKDN on vendor selection processes, particularly in large-scale construction projects such as road building and bridge construction. The findings are expected to contribute to a better understanding of TKDN implementation in the construction industry, offering insights into the challenges and opportunities of integrating domestic products into public procurement.

Abstract

AbstractThe frequent problems of flooding and waterlogging in Serang City are triggered by unpredictable rainfall patterns and the limited capacity of the drainage system. The increasing land-use changes and rapid development put additional pressure on the existing drainage channels, leading to excessive runoff and exacerbating the flood risks in several urban areas. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Low Impact Development (LID) approaches to improve the performance of urban drainage systems in Serang City to reduce water runoff and enhance the capacity of the drainage system to handle the frequent flooding risks. Unpredictable rainfall patterns, combined with the limited capacity of drainage channels, have caused waterlogging and flooding in some areas of the city. Simulations using the Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) software indicate that the implementation of LID techniques, such as bioretention and permeable pavement, is effective in reducing runoff volume flowing into the drainage system and improving water flow efficiency. The simulation results show a reduction in the continuity error value of surface runoff from -0.62% to -0.38%, which is still within an acceptable limit. However, one channel still experiences waterlogging due to limited channel capacity and suboptimal slope. These findings suggest that LID implementation can be a long-term solution to address drainage and flooding issues in urban areas. This study also contributes significantly to designing more environmentally friendly drainage systems, taking into account the impacts of climate change and rapid urbanization. AbstrakMasalah genangan dan banjir yang sering terjadi di Kota Serang, dengan dipicunya perubahan pola curah hujan yang tidak menentu dan kapasitas sistem drainase yang terbatas. Meningkatnya perubahan tata guna lahan dan pembangunan yang pesat menambah tekanan pada saluran drainase yang ada, sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya limpasan air yang berlebihan dan memperburuk risiko banjid ri beberapa kawasan kota. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan pendekatan Low Impact Development (LID) dalam meningkatkan kinerja sistem drainase perkotaan di Kota Serang guna mengurangi limpasan air dan meningkatkan daya tampung sistem drainase terhadap potensi banjir yang sering terjadi. Perubahan pola curah hujan yang tak terduga, ditambah dengan kapasitas saluran drainase yang terbatas, menyebabkan terjadinya genangan dan banjir di beberapa area kota. Simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) menunjukkan bahwa penerapan LID, seperti bioretensi dan perkerasan berpori, efektif mengurangi volume limpasan yang mengalir ke dalam sistem drainase dan meningkatkan efisiensi aliran air. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan penurunan nilai continuity error pada surface runoff dari -0,62% menjadi -0,38%, yang masih berada di bawah batas yang dapat diterima. Meskipun demikian, terdapat satu saluran yang masih mengalami genangan karena kapasitas saluran terbatas dan kemiringan yang tidak optimal. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan LID dapat menjadi solusi jangka panjang untuk mengatasi masalah drainase dan banjir di perkotaan. Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi penting dalam merancang sistem drainase yang lebih ramah lingkungan, dengan mempertimbangkan dampak perubahan iklim dan urbanisasi yang cepat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepuasan pengguna terhadap fasilitas pejalan kaki di Jalan Kyai Tapa, Grogol, yang merupakan salah satu jalur pedestrian penting dan padat aktivitas. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi di jalur ini adalah keberadaan pedagang kaki lima (PKL) dan parkir liar yang mengurangi ruang pejalan kaki, sehingga menurunkan kenyamanan dan keselamatan pengguna. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada pengguna jalur pedestrian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hanya 33% dari fasilitas eksisting yang dinilai sudah cukup baik, sehingga ini mengindikasikan tingkat kepuasan yang masih rendah sehingga masih banyak aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi lima variabel utama yang memengaruhi kepuasan pengguna, yaitu keselamatan dan keamanan, kenyamanan, kesetaraan, kemudahan dan aksesibilitas, serta keindahan. Selain itu, melalui diskusi kelompok terarah (Focus Group Discussion), ditemukan tiga indikator tambahan yang turut memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Hasil ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan dalam perencanaan dan peningkatan fasilitas pejalan kaki yang lebih humanis dan terintegrasi.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Net Zero Healthy (NZH) concept in a total school rehabilitation project in DKI Jakarta Province, as an effort to develop energy-efficient buildings that also promote physical health and thermal comfort for occupants. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, document analysis, and questionnaires from building users. The results indicate that solar panels effectively supplied 15% of the school’s total energy needs, although constrained by regulations. Furthermore, all working spaces met the minimum standards for natural ventilation and daylighting based on ASHRAE and Indonesian national standards. Mechanical ventilation through fans also performed optimally, supplying fresh air significantly above the required minimum. These findings demonstrate that NZH principles can be effectively applied to public building projects by considering design, technology, and user behavior. This research contributes significantly to green building policy development and national emission reduction efforts.

Abstract

In the context of the development of Indonesia’s new capital city in East Kalimantan, waste management presents increasingly complex challenges. Due to limited existing infrastructure, unintegrated waste management can lead to groundwater contamination, vegetation cover degradation, and threats to local biodiversity. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of an integrated waste treatment system combined with Waste to Energy (WtE) technology in the Capital City Area. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with relevant stakeholders to measure the operational performance of the system. Field measurements included emissions analysis, energy production, and waste volume reduction. Based on a 15-day observation period in December 2024, thermal treatment produced only 2.97% residue. Assuming the operation of a single incinerator unit and limited waste supply, waste can be converted into electrical energy (Waste to Energy) with a power output of 195.169 watts. It can be concluded that by operating two incinerator units under the current conditions, the energy output could be doubled to 390.338 watts.

Abstract

Abstract   As consumers and businesses rely on the efficiency, safety, and reliability of transportation networks, the quality of urban life is at risk due to increasing traffic congestion. The current study aims to evaluate the capacity of an intersection by recalculating the existing condition and making changes with geometric improvements, namely symmetrizing the intersection arms and traffic separation islands and widening the intersection arms. Factors that affect traffic congestion at intersections in the Banda Aceh area, such as driver behavior, traffic light capacity, peak-hour drivers, and intersection design. This study compares on-site data with the performance of signalized intersections using various traffic methodologies. With a population of 261,000 in Banda Aceh, Simpang Surabaya is known as a busy route in urban life. Two techniques are used for the analysis: applying the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MJKI) to the road widening and geometric re-planning. The results show that the intersection capacity is close to saturation, with a saturation value of 1.336 which exceeds 0.85 due to asymmetric traffic islands, high volumes, and long cycle times. Geometric changes and wider intersection roads reduce this value to 0.83. The results indicate that Simpang Surabaya (the intersection of Surabaya) needs to be widened immediately and properly. Further research is recommended to evaluate other intersections in the city of Aceh with quite busy traffic density to carry out calculations and handling by using different of MJKI accordingly.   Keywords: Traffic volume; signalized intersection, capacity; degree of saturation; traffic delay   Abstrak   Ketika konsumen dan perusahaan bergantung pada efisiensi, keamanan, dan keandalan jaringan transportasi, kualitas kehidupan perkotaan berada dalam risiko akibat meningkatnya kemacetan lalu lintas. Penelitian saat ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kapasitas persimpangan dengan menghitung ulang kondisi eksisting dan melakukan perubahan dengan perbaikan geometrik yaitu mensimetriskan lengan-lengan simpang dan pulau pemisah arus lalu lintas dan pelebaran lengan simpang. Faktor -faktor yang mempengaruhi kemacetan lalu lintas di persimpangan jalan di daerah Banda Aceh, seperti perilaku pengemudi, kapasitas lampu lalu lintas, pengemudi pada jam sibuk, dan desain persimpangan. Studi ini membandingkan data di lokasi dengan kinerja persimpangan yang dilengkapi sinyal menggunakan berbagai metodologi lalu lintas. Dengan 261.000 penduduk, Simpang Surabaya di Banda Aceh dikenal sebagai jalur sibuk dalam kehidupan perkotaan. Dua teknik digunakan untuk analisis: menerapkan manual kapasitas jalan raya Indonesia (MJKI) pada pelebaran jalan dan perencanaan geometrik ulang. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas persimpangan mendekati jenuh, dengan nilai jenuh sebesar 1,336 yang melebihi 0,85 akibat pulau lalu lintas yang asimetris, volume tinggi, dan waktu siklus yang panjang. Perubahan geometris dan jalan persimpangan yang lebih lebar mengurangi nilai ini menjadi 0,83. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Simpang Surabaya perlu segera diperlebar dengan baik. Penelitian selanjutnya dianjurkan mengevaluasi simpang dengan kepadatan yang cukup sibuk di daerah Aceh lainnya untuk dilakukan kalkulasi dan penanganan secepatnya.   Kata kunci: Volume lalulintas, simpang bersinyal, kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, tundaan lalu   lintas
